Another night, another stroll through the forest. Akeelah moved silently as she walked down her usual path through the forest as the sun began to set. It might not have been the smartest thing to keep coming to the forest at night. After all the shifter had a history of running into trouble in this place. The place was always crawling with other supernatural creatures here besides herself, some of which were actually fairly dangerous. The girl had plenty of run ins with the dangerous types, sometimes she was able to give them the slip, but others gave her trouble, and she found herself just lucky enough to get away with her life. Sadly they weren't the only ones that she needed to worry about now. There was also the risk of her ex-mate showing up as well. The girl let out a sad sigh as the thought of the hellhound entered her mind. Just thinking about Guillotine made her feel depressed. She had been with him for so long now, but only recently she left him. All thanks to the bastard not being able to keep it in his pants.
The last thing that Akeelah wanted to see was him, even more so than some dangerous freak that might try to make a meal out of her here. That man broke her heart, the next time she saw him she wouldn't know how to react. Maybe she'd attack him like she had done the day she found out that he was cheating on her? Maybe she'd just break down and cry again? Who knew. Either way she didn't want to find out. But there was a chance that he would come out here too. He used to wander into her territory all the time. If he was smart enough he would not show his face out here ever again. Then again, if she was smarter she wouldn't be out in this damn forest either.
Akeelah moved deeper into the woods, trying to push away the thoughts of the man she once loved and just enjoy her time here. As bad as it was to be this place was the only place that the girl had left. It was the one place that she could find peace in and wasn't about to let that go for anyone. if someone wanted to give her sh*t than so be it. She'd teach the bastard that dared to try and attack her what it meant to f*ck around with a angry leopard. Suddenly Akeelah heard some movement nearby. The girl stood still and glared at the direction of the sound. Speak of the devil. she thought. She was about to transform and get ready to fight when a rabbit ran out of the brush past her. The girl breathed a sigh of relief and started to return to her own business. It was just a false alarm.

This was the perfect find! A large, furry, muscular beast sat, perched like a king on top of one of the many small boulders that were scattered on the dense forest floor. Havoc's maw seemed to crease up into a sharp toothed smile as those blood red sinister orbs caught sight of a lone female leopard. She crept around the brush like any old cat would. Clearly she was hunting. Havoc licked his maw with satisfaction. This wasn’t any ordinary leopard. It was his Ex-Alpha’s mate, Akeelah. Guillotine didn’t seem to be around, perfect. Dangerous thoughts began to swarm around inside this beast’s head as he continued to watch Akeelah. Her scent streamed into his sensitive nose. Ah, she smelled rather delicious. Havoc wasn’t above eating cats, hell they tasted better than humans, that was for sure. Havoc never truly liked the taste of human flesh, not like the others. Havoc’s shoulders rolled back, with lust as he watched the large cat move about the brush. The male had been watching her for some time now, waiting for the right moment to make himself known, though he wouldn’t be to surprised if she knew of his presence. His eye watched as she made her way around a large tree, this was when he lost sight of her. Havoc’s maw seemed to crease up into a large grin as a second visitor made itself known. Two large hellish beasts trotted up to Havoc’s side. Both were covered with light rust colored fur. The one on the right had a large flowing black, almost lion like main. The one on the left seemed to have a different coat patter. His body was covered in black and white strips, and he had a single horn growing from the center of his head.
“Took you bastards long enough.” Havoc snarled as he turned towards his new company. He eyed the hellhound on the right. "So, did you find anything Rollo?” The beast shook his head. “Good..” The two rust colored hounds looked at one another with confusion. Havoc chuckled before looking out into the forest. “I have a different plan tonight boys. Follow me.” Havoc hadn’t been this excited in a long time, for once he found Akeelah all alone! He had to be the luckiest dog in the world right now. Revenge would be oh so sweet. The male was about to explode with excitement for forced himself to remain calm and collective on the outside. He even went to the lengths of stopping his own tail from wagging. It was a hard feat in itself.
The moon was high night time sky. Giving the three beats plenty of light to see. The male licked his lips before slowly making his way off the large rock and into the forest with his pack. He straightened his posture as he walked, which gave his gate a confident spark to it. This was it! It didn’t take long for the pack to approach Akeelah. The feline seemed on edge. “Hello there Akeelah…” Havoc cooed as he surfaced from the brush with his pack. He motioned his head to the side, and the two other hellhound began to surround the smaller feline. “It’s been a while hasn’t it?”

It was quiet in the forest. Perhaps a little too quiet for the shifter’s liking, though Akeelah normally liked to move around in silence so she could stalk her prey without being noticed it was rarely a good thing when everything around her had gone still. If the rest of the forest was silent it could mean a couple of things. One, that she had been spotted by any potential prey which wasn’t likely to be the case. The leopard wasn’t some little cub on her first hunt, she knew how to hunt, how to move without being heard or seen. It would be hard for anything to spot her if she didn’t want to be seen. And if her prey did spot her then why would they stand still? She would’ve heard them all running away from her, anything with a brain would flee at the sight of a leopard. The other possible scenario was that there was something more dangerous than she was that scared everything else away. As much as she hate to admit it that was a more likely scenario. There was always some kind of supernatural creature that prowled around the forest at night, and quite a few of them were far more dangerous than a common shapeshifter. Akeelah had enough run ins with creatures like that to be weary of the things that lurked in the dark. The danger was never enough for her to give up her favorite hunting spot but it was enough to keep her on guard.
The leopard moved cautiously onward, occasionally stopping to look around in case she there was going to be trouble. She wasn’t about to let anything here make her their prey tonight. Nothing was going to surprise her…or so she thought. As cautious as she thought she was the shifter didn’t realize that she was being followed until her hunters came towards her. Akeelah turned to growl at the three figures that approached her. It only took one look for the female to recognize what they were. Hellhounds. Great, just what she needed right now. She couldn’t think of any other vicious, bloodthirsty supernatural creature that she didn’t want to see right now. The shifter had never had much luck with their kind, the only one of their race she ever liked betrayed her, and the rest of them tried to kill her. Particularly the one who spoke to her. Golden eyes glared angrily at Havoc while the others circled around her. If there was one hellhound that Akeelah hated the most it had to be Havoc. The last time they had met he had tried to kill both her and Guillotine. And it looked like he was planning to try his luck with her again.
“Fuck off Havoc.” she hissed at him. Havoc was the last thing that the shifter wanted to deal with. There was enough crap going on in her life that she didn’t need the bastard’s murder attempts to be added to it. Not like she would have much of a choice in this matter. Havoc was a stubborn bastard, and so long as he had help the fool would feel safe enough to attack her. Akeelah didn’t bother to look at the other hounds around her, but she kept an ear out for them just to be safe. “Take your fucking lapdogs and leave. I am not in the mood to deal with your bullshit.”

“Relax my feisty little leopard. I’m not here to fight…” The large beast cooed, he took a step back from Akeelah, and did something rather unpredictable. His body was quickly consumed by a tower of hellfire. When the twisting inferno finally dispersed a lone human stood in the fearsome creature’s place. Havoc hadn’t changed much since Akeelah last met him.
He shifted back into his human form, but why? Havoc always seemed to have a method to his madness. In this fragile human form he could be easily bested. This was the risk he was willing to take to insure victory. He was attempting to play with the shifters mind, using a bit psychology on her. Perhaps if she saw that he was no threat, she would calm down and turn into human form too. It worked on Guillotine, but would it work on her?
Havoc snapped his fingers, and eyed his hellhound brethren. If this was going to work, everyone needed to be human. Without so much as a challenging glance the two men submitted to their alpha’s orders. They immediately shifted to their human forms as well. Both looked drastically different from one another. The large powerful hellhound that sported a mane was now a short, sickly looking male with long black hair. The other was rather stocky, yet tall. It was strange how different hellhound forms were from human ones. In some cases the human form was nothing more than a slap in the face to a powerful hellish beast.
With a heavy sigh Havoc turned back to Akeelah. “I just want to talk.” He then looked around and found a nice log to sit on before he continued. “Mind hearing me out?” It was clear that Havoc had something up his sleeve. A genuine smile appeared onto his pale face as he looked to Akeelah. The male was acting a bit more civil than before. This was because Gil wasn't around.
The craft little hellhound was known to be the brains of his previous pack. The male quickly learned mindlessly killing other supernaturals will get you nowhere in this world. And over time Havoc began to acclimate himself to be less aggressive, and more intelligent. The rest of the pack always had brawn over brains, especially his alpha at the time; Guillotine. Why not strive to be more than the beast you were born to be?

There was no doubt in the shapeshifter’s mind that things were going to get ugly and fast now that Havoc was here. Akeelah didn’t know many hellhounds, she could count the amount of hounds she knew on one hand. But out of the few that she knew the one that was the most dangerous out of all of them was Havoc. While Guillotine had his less than gentle moments the male rarely went out of his way hurt her, but Havoc was different. Ever since he stole Gil’s pack, and found out that she was a leopard he was after her blood. It didn’t matter that the girl had no problems with him before hand, or that she didn’t do anything to him he wanted her dead. And she wanted him dead jus as badly. Oh how she longed to sink her canines into this bastard’s neck and slowly suffocate the life out of him, she almost had her way the first time they fought. But now that the opportunity presented itself she wasn’t sure if that was such a good idea. Mainly because the bastard wasn’t alone.
Akeelah kept her ears open for the other hounds around her in case they tried anything. The leopard would have no problems taking on Havoc one more time if it wasn’t for their presence. If she took so much as a step towards the bastard his pack mates would jump on her. If they did that she was likely to get ripped to shreds within moments. It was never a smart idea to take on any beast that fought with a group, especially with Havoc’s kind. What was she going to do about all of this? Akeelah was just starting to think up something that she could do about the others when Havoc spoke. “What?” the leopard looked at him in confusion. He wanted to talk? What the hell was he on? Why would Havoc want to have any kind of conversation with her? It didn’t make any sense; it had to be some kind of joke.
But his request seemed less like a joke when he shifted back into his human form and made his companions. Akeelah watched the other two change as well, feeling even more confused. Out of all the things she had expected Havoc to do this was the last thing she thought would happen. One didn’t simply change into a human if they were going to be hostile. Akeelah set her sights on Havoc once more, still growling but no longer baring her fangs. If this was some kind of trick on his part it was certainly working. The shifter was confused enough that she wasn’t going to leap into the offensive just yet. “So you are telling me that you have come looking for me after all this time just to talk?” she sounded skeptical at best. The feline snorted but soon she too changed into her human form.
In the leopard’s place stood a rather small looking girl, with her arms folded over her chest glaring down at the man. While the girl doubted that he wanted to just talk with her she was willing to take the risk to stand before him like he was with her. If Havoc and his cronies were going to attack her they would do so as beasts, not humans. Though all three of them were still bigger than her (the short one only just a little taller than she was) as humans, they would be stupid to attack someone who could so easily change her form. At least this way they were on somewhat even grounds. But not quite, after all she didn’t have a pose with her. “If you really want to talk then call your little friends off.” She gestured to the other two. He wanted to talk? Then fine she would do so. But on her terms, not his.

Ah, his little plan seemed to be working. Akeelah was beginning to calm down after Havoc and his companions returned to their human form. It seems he was finally getting to her. She even hid her fangs! It was a start. Havoc had to hold back a grin as the shifter returned to her human form as well. He had to admit he was a bit surprised by this. She was willing to give in so easily. This was going so smoothly it was almost like clock work. Oh, could this night possibly get any better? Soon enough the shifter asked a very interesting question. Did he really want to talk to her? “Yup'.” Havoc replied as he scratched the light scruff that seemed to litter his chin.
It didn’t take long for things to take a turn for the worst. Havoc arched an eye brow as Akeelah spoke again. She agreed to talk, but it came with a price. His hellhound companions had to leave. Havoc rolled his eyes like some sort of spoiled teen. Of course, why didn’t he see this coming? Females, they always had to have things their way. Well, he couldn’t afford to screw this up now. Havoc really didn’t have a choice in this, if he wanted to keep Akeelah’s trust he had to do it.
Havoc forced a smile onto his face as he eyed his fellow pack members. He needed to remain as calm as possible, even if his only source of back up had to leave. “You heard the woman, get lost.” The pack didn’t argue. The smaller hell-dog did give Akeelah a low growl as he slipped away into the brush. He obviously didn’t care too much for the woman. She was a cat after all. The other brawnier beast followed him without saying a word. Havoc knew they wouldn’t stray too far. He had recently gained the boys trust, but he knew they were good hellhounds. Havoc then signed and called out to the two. ”We will meet up later.” Perhaps this would reassure the beasts that things were under control. He knew he would never have to explain himself to them though. That was the beauty of being an alpha, he could do whatever the hell he wanted and no one would even attempt to cross him. With a light chuckle Havoc turned back to Akeelah.“Yes.” Havoc began. Despite losing his pack, his plan was going great! He gave the woman a gentle smirk before he stood up from the rather uncomfortable log, and began to walk closer to Akeelah. “I wish to talk to you.” The hound then stopped a few feet away. Akeelah was still skeptical, so he would give the feline her space. The last thing he wanted to do was to be mauled by a skittish leopard. He’d gotten too far to fuck things up now.
Havoc continued to smile, even as he spoke. “It is better than tearing each other apart, no?” Havoc remained calm as he talked, though deep down he could feel his inner beast swelling with excitement. He had to fight it back, at least until he got what he wanted. “You see Akeelah I’m not like that arrogant boyfriend of yours...” Havoc seemed to pause for a moment before continuing. “Excuse me, ex-boyfriend.” The male then slipped his hands into his pockets and began rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet. He tried to act as non-threatening as possible. “Let’s just say I’ve heard some rather interesting things through the grape vine as of late. I knew Gil was a whore, but damn…” Havoc chuckled a bit before he looked at the smaller female, he didn’t seem the least bit intimidated by Akeelah at this point. No, as long as she was mentally unstable he would be the victor here. The crafty beast thought back to how he even got that information. Thankfully the females working at Luna were easy to manipulate. Man, humans were dumber than they looked.
Havoc released a low sigh. ”Yep, you were mates with one of our worst Akeelah. “ The male shrugged before continuing. “Hellhounds aren’t capable of love though. Trust me, I’ve tried countless times.” Havoc stated. The beast was lying through his fangs. Though he purposely refused to make eye contact, and look down as if he were really bothered by this little white lie. Akeelah could possibly see through this ruse, but havoc continued to go along with it. “Trust me when I say It was good that you broke up. I’m sure you are aware he’s still out there fucking other women, even as we speak.” Ah, this was it. He needed to get this shifter pissed off. Not at him, but with Gil. It would make the transition so much smoother. Havoc couldn’t rush this though. He just needed to plant that hateful seed into her skull and be patent about it. Now he needed to add the finishing touch. “I know how it feels, to be fucked over by him I mean.” Ah yes, this part wasn’t a lie. Havoc thought back to the reason why he hated Gil so much. The male was never truly fit to be an alpha. But he quickly shook the feeling of anger before it grew. His black orbs looked into Akeelah's. "We are a lot alike, you and I.” There was no reason to rush his little plan. He had all night to let it simmer. As long as he didn’t lose Akeelah he was fine. He would let the woman know of his intentions soon enough.

This night was going to be a strange one indeed. Here she was, standing before Havoc, one of the few real enemies that the shifter ever had and instead of tearing him a new asshole she was going to talk to him? The idea seemed ridiculous and Akeelah was certain that his request was nothing but a ruse to get her killed. Or if it was a serious one there was much more to it. She didn’t trust him in the least but she went with it. Playing along for the time being bought her some time before he sicked his friends on her, and if she played her cards right she could turn this unlucky situation right on its head. Yes Akeelah would play this game with him, but she wasn’t going to do so on his terms. Havoc may be an alpha, but that was around his own kind, not with her. The girl told the fiend that she had no intentions of conversing with him with his little puppets around, and he complied with that. The others walked away after their leader gave them the command. Akeelah listened to them walk off and tried to gauge just how far they were going to wander off to.
The girl was no idiot; she knew that they weren’t going to truly leave. They would only wander off as far as they thought was safe for them to leave their leader. They could still come running back at a moment’s notice. But with the distance between them she would be able to buy herself some time to either kill Havoc or flee once things got ugly. Most likely flee. Unless she was really lucky and would get some chance to deal a nice clean single blow to kill him she would have to make a break for it. As much as she would love to kill Havoc right here and now she wasn’t going to risk her life just to take him down. Akeelah turned her attention back to Havoc as he spoke again. “Last time I checked it was you who came after me, not the other way around.” She said flatly when Havoc mentioned that talking was better than fighting each other. Talking was only useful if one was willing to listen, which Akeelah barely was. She would rather eat her own foot than have a friendly little chat with her worst enemy, but sadly she would have to endure it till he showed his true intentions.
Havoc continued to speak, and what he said next caught her by surprise. He found out about what happened between her and Gil? The girl opened her mouth; she was just about to ask how he knew about that when he said he had heard some rumors. Akeelah just growled in response, great just what she wanted, more people that knew how much of a fool she was for trusting Gil. It was bad enough having to confide in Rose what happened but at least Rose was a friend. At least she wouldn’t think Akeelah was a fool for falling for Gil. But other people were not so kind. Akeelah was a private person by nature, she didn’t like to involve others in her problems, but it looked like the biggest mistake in her life was known by people she never wanted to find out about it. Akeelah had little choice but to hear Havoc (of all people) tell her how hard it was for hellhounds to commit to anyone. That wasn’t news to her; she had learned that the hard way when she caught her mate with another female. Even that woman who he had tried to sleep with told her that much, hearing Havoc say that was just like having another knife being thrust into her already bleeding heart. That pain was made even worse when he mentioned that Gil was still sleeping with other people.
“Who he sleeps with doesn’t matter to me anymore.” She hissed in response, there was a little more anger in her voice than she would have liked. It really shouldn’t have mattered to her what Gil did with his life anymore. They were done; she was done with him for good. But to think about how quickly Gil had gotten over it hurt her in a way she couldn’t have imagined. Gil was having the time of his life while she could barely pull herself together, and she hated it. The hatred in her eyes intensified as Havoc tried to sound sympathetic. “You and I are nothing alike.” She growled again. “Why don’t you just cut to the chase? I know you aren’t here because you feel sorry for me; you hate me too much to even try. I am not a fucking idiot. What do you want?”

Who would have thought this beastly hellhound would have mustered up enough integrity to actually sit and talk to a cat. Though Havoc seemed calm on the outside his inner beast was still starring around eager to tear the leopard apart. Strangely enough, killing Akeelah wasn’t in the plan. No, he needed her alive both before and after the ordeal. A light hearted chuckle crept from Havoc’s throat as Akeelah spoke. Ah, perhaps she smarter than he thought? Cats were known to be craft creatures. He had to give her that. “I didn’t come after you directly. I wanted Gil nothing more really.” Havoc replied as continued to look the woman in the eye. Apart of him wondered what his ex-alpha saw in this woman. Well, she was strong, for a small female anyway. Havoc could remember Gil constantly bringing home females who appeared to be sluts. He could always tell by their clothing, as well as their body language. This little shifter was the total opposite of what Gil looked for in a woman. The beast began to wonder what made this little gem so special. Perhaps it was something on the inside that made her so irresistible. Soon enough Akeelah made it known that she was getting a bit restless. The female’s words broke Havoc from his thoughts. She even went to the lengths to say that he was wrong, they were nothing alike. The hellhound released a low sigh. He then thought through his words carefully before he spoke. He decided to tell Akeelah everything. “You will never know the pain of having your own brother turn on you, and for what, a couple of stupid humans? He abandoned us like he abandoned you Akeelah. In a strange twist of fate, we are alike.” Havoc used the term brother loosely. Truly, he and Gil weren’t related, but back then he thought of the alpha as his own brother. They used to do everything together, hunt, sleep, hell even play. It was unfortunate that those times were over. He’d give anything to get them back but Gil would never be the same as he used to be. He was to influenced by humans whether he knew it or not. It was pathetic. Havoc looked away from Akeelah for a moment. He had to concentrate on something else, in fear that his inner hellhound would try to take his emotions out on Akeelah. His anger began to bubble up to the surface. “I don’t think you, or any of his little friends can understand just how cruel he can be. Granted, cruelty is in our DNA, but to take that energy out on your own pack...” Havoc went quite for a moment, for once he wasn’t lying. A depressed frown took over his features. Gil did do some rather terrible things to the pack as a whole, but this didn’t happen until after he began to mingle with humans. Perhaps the foolish beast wanted to be more human, and attempted to drag the rest of the pack down that path of ruin. Havoc wasn’t going to have any of it. He thought about this and snarled to himself. They weren’t humans, they were beasts! “We’ve both been f*cked over by the same hound, and I actually want to do something about it!” It seemed that the beast was pouring his heart and soul out for Akeelah. Was it apart of the plan? Well some of it. He was trying to convince Akeelah that Gil was really the bad dogs here. Oh, if only he had known about their violent little fight then he could use that to his advantage, but for now he could only go on what he knew. Akeelah seemed to be getting rather irritated. Havoc’s words were influencing her in some way. She was getting angry, that was for sure. Soon enough the shifter said that she didn’t care about Gil and what he did anymore. The beast cocked an eye brow in response. He didn't believe her. “You don’t care anymore?” Havoc then scoffed. The hound then eyed the smaller female suspiciously. He’d picked up on the anger in her voice. There was no way in hell she was ok with all of this. “If you don't care then why are you pissed?” Havoc stopped there as Akeelah saw through his ruse. Well, Akeelah did have a point. She wasn’t an idiot. Havoc looked the smaller woman in the eye again. His smile didn’t return; looks like the cat was out of the bag. “I would like to share a proposal Akeelah.” Havoc began he pulled his hands out of his pockets and crossed his arms in front of his chest before he continued. “I want you to help me get rid of Guillotine. We both want to get back at Gil for what he’s done to us. So what do you say?” Havoc didn’t know how Akeelah would take this. Would she join him, or would he have to force her? “After this little event, I will bring you back here. And, I promise you will never see my face around here again. In the end we will both get what we want out of this Akeelah…revenge.”
(( sorry if it seems a bit jumbled. My comp kept giving me trouble though the whole damn thing. >:/ ))

Akeelah rolled her eyes at his little excuse about attacking her before. He could claim all he wanted that he was only trying to make Gil suffer but she wasn’t going to buy it. Even if what he said was true that didn’t change the fact that he had tried to kill her. Though the shifter could be forgiving at times, attempting to kill her was not one of those things that she was willing to look past, especially when it came to someone that she wasn’t close to. The question was now if that was still part of Havoc’s plan? Now that he knew that she and Gil were no longer mates did he still have a reason to want her dead? Perhaps he did, it wasn’t like Havoc needed much reasons to want the shifter dead. For starters he wasn’t too fond of cats. Not many hellhounds were, they seemed to make a habit of attacking anything remotely feline, and to them Akeelah was nothing more than a bigger version of a house cat. And it didn’t help that she had tried to kill him in turn in their first fight. Yeah, Havoc would still have some reasons to want her dead; she would have to be careful about how much she was willing to trust the beast.
The conversation shifted; when Havoc suggested that the two were alike Akeelah immediately rejected the idea. The mere thought that she had anything in common was both absurd and revolting. The shifter expected him to laugh off her protests, or brush it aside like it what she thought wasn’t a big deal. But his actions surprised her. The shifter listened to the man’s story about how Gil had betrayed him and his pack like how he had betrayed her. So that was the reason why Havoc had turned on his alpha, in his eyes Gil had turned his back on his pack and it had to be done. That at least was his version of the story. It was hard to just dismiss the whole thing as a lie but there was too little that Akeelah didn’t know about it. It wasn’t like she was around to see for herself what had happened, and she couldn’t hear Gil’s version of these events. But no matter what the truth was one thing was clear, she wasn’t the only one that felt hurt by Guillotine’s actions.
It didn’t take long for the conversation to turn back to the things Gil had done to her. What little bit of sympathy she might’ve felt for Havoc quickly vanished in the way of her anger. Akeelah didn’t want to think about how easily Gil moved on after they broke up, because no matter how many times she tried to deny it, it bothered her. The idea that he just went back to screwing anyone around him only cemented the idea that he never truly cared about her in the first place, and it hurt. Her attempts at brushing Havoc’s statement had failed completely, he immediately question her and she couldn’t come up with an answer. Finally, feeling fed up with the question, and not wanting to answer it she demanded that he tell her what he was really here for. It was obvious that Havoc wasn’t here because he really felt sorry for her, she knew him well enough to know that there was something more to this meeting than he was trying to let on. Finally he told her the truth, he wanted vengeance.
“Wrong again.” The shifter said after awhile. “You want revenge, but I don’t.” Akeelah sighed, despite everything that happened to them Akeelah didn’t want to kill Gil for it. Was it out of love? Indifference? Or fear? She didn’t know why. “When I said that I was done with him I mean it. I am done with Gil. I don’t want anything to do with him, I don’t want to be with him anymore, I don’t even want to see his face anymore why would I want to kill him if I can’t even stand the thought of being anywhere near him? I’m fine enough by myself.” Akeelah looked away from Havoc as she spoke. It was hard enough just trying to keep the pain she was feeling out of her voice. It was even harder to look at the male without feeling like an idiot. “Since he rather sleep around with whoever he feels like he can do so, but he will never have me again. Maybe one day that fact will bother him, I don’t know and I don’t want to think about it.”
“If I can get any vengeance at all it will be the day I find someone else and move on with my life. I doubt that will ever happen. I can’t even try to get myself to trust another man after what he put me through, and I doubt any guy is ever going to look at me the same way again.” There was no way that Akeelah could ever bring herself to get into another relationship even if she wanted to. Even if it could bring her closure she refused to do it. She already got hurt once because she trusted the wrong person. Obviously she had poor taste in men; it would be stupid to repeat the same mistakes again. “Besides in a way you already got your vengeance.” She looked back up at Havoc. “When he turned his back on you, you fought back and look where that got you now. You stole his pack from him and forced him out of your society. He’ll never be able to be with his own kind again, and that hurt him. You already won so why are you wasting your time chasing after him? It would be better for you to just forget about that idiot and be a better leader than he ever was.”

Every fiber of his being screamed at him, His instincts wanted the young male to tear into this woman. Oh, how delicious she would taste. Felines always had a nice flavor to them. Havoc began to lick his lips as the thoughts of a dead Akeelah flooded into his brain. His hellish instincts began to drift back into his head. The male was tempted to call his pack. Wouldn’t it be nice to go on a little hunt? Something kept his mouth shut though. Havoc had one thing other hellhound didn’t seem to have, and that was resistance. He could dumb down his hellish side. Despite his instincts gnawing on his brain he could continue to talk peacefully with Akeelah. But deep down, he wanted to kill her. Havoc’s plan called for total control. He couldn’t kill Akeelah, or anyone else here. The only being that would die was Gil. Havoc would be dammed if he f*cked things up now. The tall male eyed Akeelah yet again when she went silent. He’d questioned her motives, and she didn’t respond. The shifter was obviously hurt by the ordeal she had with Gil. It didn’t seem like she wanted to talk about it. There was no use in pushing this any further, she would remain stubborn.
So Havoc moved on.
The man hoped Akeelah would feel a bit sympathetic. It would be essential to his plan. He shifted his weight onto his left leg as the shifter spoke again. Akeelah made it clear she didn’t want to kill Guillotine. A spark of anger lit an inferno inside Havoc. His brow furrowed. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. This was going against his plan; he NEEDED her to hate Gil. “You have to be f*cking kidding me!” The beast yelled, for once he began to lose his temper. It took Havoc a moment to realize he was yelling at Akeelah. This didn’t look good, even from his stand point. He stopped and took a long breath before continuing. “You are willing to forget, and move on?” Wait, maybe he could go about this plan a little differently. Havoc turned away from Akeelah in an attempt to calm down and think his plan through. The hellhound put his pale hands onto his hips and paced a round for a second or two. He then turned back to the shifter. A new idea had materialized into that sick head of his. Well, Akeelah was obviously content with letting Guillotine live despite what he did to her. Havoc would have to go about this differently. He stopped pacing as Akeelah spoke. She looked away from him which, in hellhound terms, told the beast a lot about what was going on inside that head of hers. Her words caused Havoc to smirk. So, she wasn’t going to be dating anyone else anytime soon. It was interesting to see that this woman was learning from her mistakes. Unlike him, she was strong enough to forgive and move on. But what Akeelah said next turned Havoc’s smirk onto a frown. The woman had a point. Havoc remained silent for a minute. He looked away and thought about what he was going to do. His pack was waiting for him, and here he was brooding like some emotional teen. Should he call this whole thing off? Apart of Havoc wished to follow Akeelah’s example. Unfortunately, it wasn’t so simple. Havoc had yet another trick up his sleeve. Havoc’s lips were sealed. He didn’t say a single word to Akeelah after she spoke. Instead he let his eyes do the talking. He glared down at Akeelah as she looked up at him with those golden eyes of hers. Whether the female liked it or not, she was about to be forced into joining him. “I’m sorry Akeelah.” Havoc began as he slowly made his way over to her. “I can’t let that bastard live, and you are going to help me take him down whether you like it or not.” Havoc was tired of waiting. Akeelah had already made up her mind. She wasn’t going to join him. So, he would do the next best thing. Havoc reached forward and grabbed Akeelah's arm roughly. He was going to Kidnap her. ((Or rather catnap mehhhh))

The answer that Akeelah gave Havoc was obviously not the one he had been hoping for. The shifter flinched when Havoc yelled at her but still held her ground. His reaction wasn’t a big surprise this time around. It was obvious that the hound was only trying to rile her up so she would be more on his side, but it didn’t have the desired reaction he had hoped for. Yes what Gil had done to her had hurt more than anything he could possibly imagine, yes she was pissed with him for it, hell she almost tried to kill him after she caught the bastard two timing her, but she didn’t do it. She wouldn’t do it. At first Akeelah wasn’t sure what stopped her from wanting the male’s blood. Maybe she did still have feelings for him? Akeelah wasn’t sure, though it was plainly obvious to anyone but her that she still felt something for her former mate. But as time passed the reason she didn’t want revenge had turned to into just wanting to leave everything she felt for him in the past.
If Akeelah wanted to start over she had to drop Guillotine out of her life for good. In the end she had to start over again. She wasn’t sure what she was going to do, she was still upset, confused, and unsure what she wanted anymore but she was at least taking the first step of moving on by leaving him. This plan of Havoc’s would only shatter what little resolve she had left; there was no reason to go along with it. When Havoc asked her if she really intended to forget and move on the girl growled. “No, I am not forgetting what he did. I am just learning from my mistakes and moving the hell on with my life.” There was no way that she was going to forget Gil’s betrayal, and there was certainly no way that she was going to forgive him for all the crap he put her through. But she was going to let him go, and there was nothing that Havoc could do to change that.
Havoc must’ve caught on to that fact too, because while she spoke he had not said a word. The man paced around in silence as the shifter continued to speak. His actions didn’t make her waiver when the girl pointed out that he had already gotten his revenge the day he became his pack’s leader. But when she finished and he looked at her she saw a dangerous look flash through his eyes. Time seemed to stop in that moment as the two looked at each other. A part of her wanted to run away from the look he was giving her, half expecting him to turn and bite her head off right then and there. But Akeelah stood her ground and glared right back at him. If he wanted to kill her just because she didn’t want to play his stupid game then so be it, but she would do what she needed to do not to let him win.
Finally the man spoke, but as he moved towards her he did something unexpected. Instead of shifting back and attacking her he made a grab for her. Akeelah felt his grip tighten on her arm as he started to drag her off with him. “What the-“ Akeelah tried to pull away from him to no avail, she wasn’t strong enough to get away from him that easily. “Let go of me!” the girl snarled as she started to struggle harder. Panic started to form in her mind as he started to move. What the hell was he planning to do with her? Akeelah knew that she had to act fast before he could do what he pleased. In a flash Akeelah turned into her feline form and lashed out at him, hoping to free herself from his grip so she could run. As much as she would have liked to do more damage to him there wouldn’t be enough time to do anything before the rest of his pack returned. So long as she was free the leopard would bolt and start climbing up the nearest tree before Havoc could recover.

Now that the cat was out of the bag Havoc felt as if he could do whatever he wanted. He didn’t feel the need to be gentle anymore. Havoc tightened his grip on Akeelah’s arm as she tried to pull away. If she continued to struggle Havoc’s grip would leave marks on her arms. The beast was a bit surprised that Akeelah hadn’t shifted yet. Suppose he was just lucky? Not matter, he continued to drag her long anyway. Havoc was clearly willing to risk his life for a little revenge. He was hell bent on it. But what would he do with Akeelah once he got her back to the den? He didn’t exactly have any spare cages lying around. He would have to ask his pack to go out and get something to contain her, but before they could do that he needed to insure that she couldn’t just get up and run away. An old fashioned beating would be in order, how else could he immobilize her?
Havoc thought about this as he jerked Akeelah forward, the woman was beginning to piss him off. His vice like grip only tightened when the woman told him to release her. Havoc replied with an annoyed snort. Did she really think he would let her go so easily? If so the female had another thing coming. She continued to fight back but her efforts were in vain. Havoc prepared to call for his pack when Akeelah gave into his feline instincts. Her human form was weak as a new born kitten compared to Havoc’s. Akeelah’s leopard form was a different story however. This woman would become a formidable opponent when she wore her beastly skin.
Akeelah used this to her advantage. Havoc would soon regret laying a hand on her. The woman transformed and lashed out at the taller man. Her powerful claws racked across his handsome face; Ripping into his flesh like a hot knife through butter. Havoc immediately recoiled as a painful stinging sensation rippled through his face. If the claws weren’t bad enough, just the force of the blow nearly knocked the beast to the ground. Havoc yelped as he staggered back. “Damn it!!” he snarled as his hands clutched the new bloodied wound on his face. He then watched as Akeelah took off and scurried up a tree.
Upon hearing their Alpha’s yelp the two hell-beast transformed and rushed to his side. They plowed through the dense underbrush like it was nothing. Instinct drove them to be by Havoc’s side. It only took the beasts a matter of seconds to stumble upon their bleeding alpha. A heavy stream of crimson trailed down Havoc’s face as he looked down at his companions. They seemed a bit taken back by the sight. But never the less it fueled their anger. The wound started under his eye and stretched across the side of his face, and ended just below his ear. Akeelah had done a number on him. Without saying a word Havoc transformed. His beady blood red eyes glared up at Akeelah. He then bared his fangs as he led his pack over to the tree. After motioning for his pack to surround the tree Havoc snarled. Catching this cat was going to be harder than he thought. The hellhound who went by the name of Rollo snarled as his body reared up onto the tree, he placed his two large paws onto the bark and glanced up at Akeelah. “Here kitty-kitty.” He teased as he licked his maw with satisfaction. They had the tree surrounded, where else was this shifter going to go? Havoc meanwhile kept a close eye on Akeelah. She wasn’t going to get away this time.

A stab of pain shot through the girl’s arm as Havoc tightened his grip. It was hard to believe what was happening right now, why would Havoc go as far as to try and force her to come with him just for revenge? It wasn’t like he needed her as an ally. The man was fully capable of fulfilling his plan on his own without her. Maybe he just planned to keep her quiet in case she tried to warn Gil about his plan? Though the shifter had no intentions of telling Gil what Havoc was up to maybe Havoc had some doubts about that. But if that was the case why didn’t he just try to kill her instead? None of this made sense and Akeelah had no time to try and figure out what was going on in the crazy hellhound’s head. She had to act fast before Havoc had the chance to completely overpower her. So Akeelah did the only thing that she knew how to do, she transformed and attacked him.
In one moment Havoc was holding onto a frightened girl, and then the next a very pissed off leopard. With an angry roar Akeelah lashed out at the hound, her claws digging into the side of his face as she smacked him hard. The blow wouldn’t have done much to stagger the hell beast had he been in his true form, but as a human he didn’t have a lot of power to back him up. The force of Akeelah’s strike was enough to send the bastard crashing to the ground. Now was her chance to flee, with Havoc on the ground she had bought herself a few seconds head start. It would’ve been just enough time for the shifter to out run him once he recovered…but it wouldn’t buy her enough time to escape the other hounds. Havoc’s cronies couldn’t have gone too far; no doubt they were probably on their way here already. If she tried to run now they would easily catch up to her, maybe even take her down so their leader could deal with her later. There was only one option left if she had any hopes of making it out of this situation alive.
As Havoc started to rise, Akeelah vaulted up the nearest tree, getting up high enough out of the hounds grasp just as they tried to come after her. Within moments the leopard had gotten herself a nice seat on a large branch and was hissing angrily down at the three circling hounds. But as she sat there snarling and hissing at them a new problem struck her. How was she going to get down? Of course the shifter knew how to climb down just as easily as she knew how to get up the tree, but with three large, growling monsters staring at her from below there was no way she could just jump down and walk away. This wasn’t like the few times back when she was a cub where she had to sit up in a tree away from other predators. These fiends weren’t after her for food, or to chase her up a tree, laying low for a few hours till they finally got bored waiting for her was not going to work this time. The leopard climbed up a little further til she found another solid branch before turning back into a human and glared back down at Havoc. “You are a fucking moron!” she shouted at him. “You could’ve just walked away and I wouldn’t have told that bastard anyway, but you choose to waste your time trying to kill me just to keep me quiet like a fucking idiot!” Pissing Havoc off more wasn’t going to help her much, but the girl wanted to keep the male busy enough to keep him distracted so she could figure out what she could do to get out of this before he could figure out a way to get to her.

Great, now what was he going to do? Akeelah was up and tree, and here he was on the ground. The beast snorted. He needed to think of something and quick. It didn’t tale long for Akeelah to start talking. She told the beasts that they were stupid, and that they were wasting their time. So, Akeelah thought he was going to shut her up by killing her? Oh how wrong she was. Crimson orbs glanced up at Akeelah as their host spoke. “Kill you?” Havoc’s maw lifted to the heaves as a hardy chuckle streamed from his throat. “If I wanted to kill you I would have done it already.” The male began as he lowered his head. Havoc then started pacing around the tree like predator. The last thing he wanted to do was let this feline get comfortable in that tree, she had to come down. “Besides If I killed you then all of this would have been for nothing. You are wrong my feisty feline. I need you alive.” Beady blood red eyes continued to glare up at Akeelah. Havoc made it clear that there would be no killing. A little beating would be fine though. As long as Akeelah was alive in the end Havoc really didn’t care what his pack did to her. “You will have to come down sometime…” Havoc began, his deep demonic voice rumbled from this throat. “-And we will be right here waiting for you.” Akeelah had gotten herself into quite a sticky situation. Havoc’s maw stretched into a sharp toothed grin as he stopped pacing. His tail flicked from side to side as he began to speak. “Relax boys, we’re going to be here for a while. “ The male then lowered his bum to the ground and leaned his back against the tree trunk. His wound began to pulse with pain. Damn cat. Oh, he’d get her back for scratching him. Perhaps he could tear off a finger or something to compensate for what she did to him. Before he could even think about avenging his handsome face, he had to get her down. Akeelah was far from stupid. She wasn’t about to come down into the waiting jaws of three bloodthirsty beasts. So why not take a break from all the madness? He needed to relax and think of what he wanted to do next. While he sat there another idea popped into his head. Havoc rolled his shoulders back as he turned to one of his fellow hounds. “Rollo, Go find us a cat to snack on. I’m sure Akeelah would just love to watch us tear one of her kind apart.” The hellhound nodded and bounded off to find a cat or two. Havoc watched his pack member trot off into the brush. He began to laugh again, his head lifted as he looked at Akeelah. "Won’t that be nice, Akeelah?” Well, if the feline wouldn’t come down then why not torment her a bit? Havoc was done with being nice.

It was a…interesting situation that Akeelah had gotten herself into. While her split second decision to climb to safety rather than run or even fight back had its pros it also came with some unfortunate cons. As far as keeping her alive for a few more seconds her tree plan had worked out perfectly. Not long after she had struck Havoc had his stupid lapdogs coming running to his aid, their appearance had been so fast that there was no doubt that if she hadn’t gone to higher ground they would’ve caught her in a second. Thanks to the tree she was safely out of their reach, and thus safe. But that safety came at a cost to her freedom. While the three hounds were too massive and clumsy to climb up after her they could spend a few good hours staring at her from the ground, waiting for the chance to strike. Well, I am still fucked… the girl thought. It was too bad that she didn’t have a winged form so she could just fly away. What was she going to do now?
The shifter growled at her would be captors as she tried to figure out a way out of this mess. So far her mind was running blank. So for the time being she did the only thing a cat stuck up a tree could do, she tried to insult the alpha hound. Little good it did her though, Havoc wasn’t that easy to rile up, but what he said about his plans with her caught her attention. Wait…he wasn’t going to kill her? Well he did have a point; if he intended to kill her he would’ve tried that instead of trying to drag her away. But that didn’t make any sense, if he didn’t want her dead then what did he want from her? “For what?” the girl asked, “I told you already I am not going to help you with your stupid plans. It’s not like you can use me to lure Gil out anyway, so I am no used to you.” Surely he wasn’t thinking about kidnapping her to use as bait for Guillotine. Gil had cared for her just as much as he cared about all the other women he had bed while they were supposed to be together. Akeelah doubted that it would matter much to her ex what happened to her now that he couldn’t sleep with her.
The girl’s eyes shifted around the place as she tried to take in her current surroundings for any signs of an escape opportunity. Persuading Havoc to just let her go was not going to work here and she knew it. When Havoc spoke again it was to his buddies. Her heart sank when she heard Havoc tell one of his cronies to fetch another feline to play with. Though Akeelah wasn’t anything like the cats that lived in this country she did have a natural affinity with those creatures, and she would feel bad to have one of them suffer because of her. But as bad as that was there was some good that came out of it. Now there was going to be one less hellhound below her. It was going to be awhile before the stupid beast could find some cat to bring back. It wasn’t like there were a lot of strays wandering around the forest, and the wild cats that lived in the forest were small in number, they also happened to be more cautious and well capable of fending for themselves. Akeelah climbed up further to watch the hound named Rollo vanish into the distance.
One down, two more to go. Somehow she needed to get the other lackey out of the way. If she could just do that then she could risk coming back down. Fighting Havoc wouldn’t be as big of a problem if the other two weren’t there, if she could hurt Havoc enough than it wouldn’t be hard to escape at all. There has to be another way though. the girl thought. The shifter looked around once more as she tried to think of other options when a thought struck her. Her gaze lingered on the other trees around her. Running on foot was no longer an option, but that didn’t mean that she couldn’t technically run for it. She could try to use the trees as a means of escape, if she could jump from tree to tree fast enough she could easily put a good amount of distance between her and her pursuers. If she could gain enough distance from Havoc and his pack she could climb back down and make a real run for it. It would be risky but worth a shot, hell maybe it would keep the idiots distracted enough that they wouldn’t have the time to bother with anything else. Yes, that was what she was going to do. Now all that she needed to do now was find some kind of distraction to give herself a little head start.
