Once Rune left Loki got changed and returned to the bed, wondering what he was going to do next. As much as he wanted to avoid dealing with his problems he knew he had to deal with the mess he had made at some point. Preferably sooner rather than later. Now that he was so sleep deprived that he passed out he needed to do something about his sleeping issues. But what? Loki had no real way to deal with his nightmares. He had been suffering through them for a little over a year now. Most of the time the only solution was to wait it out. But how could he just wait it out when it lasted for a month and counting? Loki shook his head, as far as he was concerned he was fucked in that department. There were other problems he had to deal with on top of the lack of sleep issue. As far as Loki knew only Rune knew what happened to him today. Wolf and Azazel didn't know. As much as he didn't want to talk to them about this he at least owed it to them to tell them that he was alive.
With a sigh Loki got back up and grabbed his cellphone from his discarded pants and sent a text message. First to Wolf apologizing for not showing up, making up some excuse for disappearing and telling his partner he wouldn't be back to work for a bit. Finally he gave Azazel the heads up he wouldn't be home tonight either. He didn't specify when he would be back though. Honestly he wasn't sure how long he would be away from home yet. He didn't want to impose on Rune anymore than he already was, but even he couldn't deny that he was not physically up for moving anymore than he already had without the worse happening. Being polite and listening to your body were two separate issues in his mind right now. If he was dealing with someone else in his position he knew damn well what he would tell them to do. Only a fool would act rashly for the sake of being nice.
After he sent his texts Loki sat back down just before Rune popped back into the room. Seeing the other man blush helped cheer the little shifter up a little. Rune was rather shy, Loki was used to dealing with shy types, though most of the shy ones he met were mostly female. They were the ones that gave him the most to play around with. He doubted he could play around with Rune the same way he did with the ladies but at least he could have a little fun to help keep his mind from going to dark places. When Rune asked Loki if he was still hungry the boy shook his head. “No I am good thanks. The food you cooked was enough to fill me up. It was pretty good too. Was it a specific dish or something you just threw together?” The conversation soon turned to sleeping arrangements. Though Loki was still determined to not sleep he still was going to be staying over at Rune's place for at least one night so they had to decide what was going to happen. Loki tilted his head a little when Rune offered to sleep on the couch for the night. “You don't have to throw yourself out of your own bed on my account.” he said. Loki turned his gaze to the bed he was on. “Your bed looks big enough for two people to sleep in. I don't take up that much space anyway so it shouldn't be a problem right?”
