PERSONALITY
Loki is one of the friendliest people you could ever meet.He's smart, sweet, patient, easy going, thoughtful and greets everyone with a smile. His charisma and charm are part of his nature and partly due to his upbringing. Charisma and charm are useful in getting what you want or gaining influence with the right kind of people. Being raised to one day be a leader amongst his own kind Loki thinks of these traits of his personality as instinctual. A part of him worries that his charisma is nothing more than something built into him by his overly controlling father, perhaps thats why he feels conflicted about that side of him. While Loki is all charms and smiles with everyone (especially the ladies~) deep down he has some issues.
As a feline shapeshifter Loki's personality is shaped a little by his animal form. He is a true cat at heart. He's playful, loves taking naps, hunting mice, and is naturally curious. He can't help but purr when he's happy about something. Its ridculously easy to get the boy to purr in both forms. If he's eating something really delicious he'll purr, if you complement him enough he will purr, he will even purr if you pet him. As much as he claims that he doesn't like being treated like a common house cat when people pet him, his instinctive purring at just being touched is a dead giveaway that he's full of sh*t. His feline nature can at times take over when he is in human form. Loki might be good at hiding his feelings and thinks that he's a natural at deception when a situation calls for it he is terrible at hiding that he is not human and he knows this. He tries to be very careful about how he acts with humans, since humans are the ones most likely to harm him if they figure out what he really is.
He has a very hard time opening up about his troubles. All his sad, troubled thoughts he keeps to himself. His past is his biggest secret. He doesn't like to talk about his family, his upbringing, especially the story of what happened to him and the one girl he ever really loved. He keeps the worse parts about himself secret. He is more self-loathing than he ever lets on and blames himself for everything bad that has happened to himself and the people he cares about. If he thinks his presence is too much of a burden for those he gets close to he will choose to leave rather than risk staying and putting anyone elses lives in danger.
APPEARANCE
Like any other confident seeming guy Loki is a self proclaimed pretty boy. With fluffy blond hair, beautiful golden eyes, and soft features, Loki grew up being told how cute he was and attracting a lot of attention from the opposite sex. He feels no shame in admitting to that himself. He flaunts the fact he is good looking freely, he has no problem flirting for fun or to get something, and he jokes about it all the time. He's not over confident enough to over look his flaws. Loki has never been completely happy with his appearance.
For one, he feels like he's a little too slender for a guy. No matter how much he eats or exercise he doesn't gain much in fat or muscle size. He's gained a few pounds now that he is off the streets but he still looks like he needs to eat a few more sandwiches. The second most annoying part to his appearance is his height. As if being a scrawny looking teenage boy isn't bad enough Loki is short for a boy. Hell, half the girls he has ever met are taller than him. He hasn't grown an inch past 5'5 feet. Being so small and slim looking makes him the least intimidating guy in existence. While he can joke with his friends about how short he is he can't help but feel a little jealous standing next to someone bigger than he is. If he gets into trouble with someone much bigger than he is he can't help but feel a little intimidated by them no matter how good he is at self defense.
As a shapeshifter Loki does have some characteristics of his animal form that carry over into his human form. His purring tendencies and small personality traits are a good giveaway that he is a cat all on its own. Physically speaking the only thing that shows he is a feline is his eyes. Its not just the colour of them that screams cat, but the way they are shaped is very distinctively feline as well. They even reflect light in the dark. Loki's animal form is that of a wild cat. The species name in this world is called Geoffroy's cat, its a strange name but its hard to deny that he looks like one. His fluffy fur coat is a nice light brown and spotted, he's no bigger than a common house cat. He can pass off as an exotic house cat if he tried, but for the most part he doesn't risk being seen by humans if he can.

While all shapeshifters have a human form their secondary form can come in a variety of animals. While some shifters are capable of taking on more than one animal form, most of them are typically born with one animal form. In Loki's case he is a wild cat. Like most of his kind Loki's personality and physical strengths all reflect the kind of animal he can become. Loki is very graceful, great at climbing, hunting, and many other things that come with being a feline. And all their weaknesses as well.

The shifter he came with was a close friend of his that he had grown up with, eventually as the two were trying to learn how to adapt to their new environment Loki started having feelings for her. Before the young man had the chance to confess to her some humans found out what they were and hunted them down. While the two tried to escape and got cornered Loki's friend sacrificed herself so he could get away. Loki has never been able to forgive himself for her death, even though she had given up her life willingly to save him. He blames himself for what happened and shoulders that guilt in silence.

- Heightened sense of smell, hearing, and sight (has excellent nightvision)
- Very graceful and agile in both forms
- Heals quickly
- Has a longer life span and ages slower than a human
Learned Abilities
- Has some hand to hand combat skills
- Has become an excellent knife user, he carries a switchblade with him at all times in case he has to fight. He also carries six throwing knives to use in combat.
- Thanks to his research on demons Loki has learned how to trap, bind, and weaken them if he has to fight them. His weapons are usually coated in holy oil, and he keeps a small bottle of holy water just to be safe.
Weaknesses
- He might be improving in regards to physical combat but Loki is still at a physical disadvantage against someone much bigger than he is. Especially in his animal form.
- He might live longer than a human but he's still just as vulnerable as they are, he can get sick, or seriously injured, and die like any mortal.
- His heightened senses can sometimes be more trouble than they are worth. Loud noises and bad smells are more pronounced and annoying to deal with.
- His eyes might help him see in the dark, but glowing yellow eyes are easy to see in the dark which could be a problem when he's trying to hide.
- Though Loki comes from a royal pure blooded line which is rumored to have a higher resistance to silver(in his world) it can still mess with his ability to transform.

EXTRAS: When Loki realized that he was no longer in the world he had been born into he has completely shred any thoughts of his heritage from his mind and life. Royalty, as far as he can see does not exist in this world anymore, and even if it did he has no kingdom that would consider him a would be ruler so as far as he is concerned he is no prince. The only person who could say otherwise is gone so no one knows what he once was, and he'd like that to stay that way.
Since coming to New Orlands a lot of things have changed for Loki. He's managed to make a few friends and has gotten off the streets. This sudden change in his life is thanks to a deal he made with a fallen angel named Azazel. Azazel is his first official guy friend, he's the closest friend he's ever had since he lost Amalia and he cares for him. Because of their arrangement Az is technically his boss but he does a lot of freelance work around town, and more recently he has been expanding his work experience by forming a small group with other shifters designed to gather information about important people and events in New Orlands for cash.
