It had been a long time since Dahlia had ventured out in the forest. But despite how many years had passed since that time she still remembered it well. She still remembered the feeling of the earth under her bare feet, the smell of the woods, she could even remember the taste of blood from the deer as she ripped its throat out as a youth. Back in those days Dahlia had been nothing more than a beast, a feral child, alone and frightened, struggling to survive the world outside her tiny cage. Those days had been both a blessing and a curse. As a child the woman had spent most of her life behind bars, constantly poked and prodded like a bloody animal that just being able to have even a moment to run around without any restraints was a beautiful thing. But she was by no means human during those days. Back in those days Dahlia had to rely on her animal instincts so she could survive.
She gave into the cougar inside her then. She lived, ate, and breathed as a wild beast. It was fine enough till that man had found her, and taught her how to be human. When she thought her life back then before she had met him she realized how much she was missing, and now she realized that she never wanted to live that life again. Dahlia continued walk down her own personal trail, her tail lightly swaying behind her as she scanned around the area, keeping her eyes and ears open out for any hint of danger. Dahlia hadn't come out all this way to just remenanice about her past. She had come here for one reason and one reason only, to hunt.
There had been rumors about some strange large beast that attacked hikers and campers that were out in the forest late at night. It wasn't that uncommon for humans to be attacked by the wildlife here but something about the rumors screamed supernatural. All matter of creatures made these woods their home. You were just as likely to run into a shapeshifter, or a werewolf as you were a deer of fox out in the woods. But not many of these creatures were really dangerous. Shapeshifters typically were not aggressive, and even some werewolves had enough self control to keep themselves from harming humans. But there were always a small number out of the bunch that were dangerous. It was worth checking out.
A rustling sound could be heard a few feet away from where Dahlia stood, causing the woman to stop what she was doing. The huntress remained still, one hand resting on the hilt of her sword as she stared in the general direction of the noise. What was making that sound? Was it a deer, a rabbit, or something more sinister?

If I scare you now ,Don't run from me I've been hiding my pain
Another night was upon the world as a creature now made its way threw the woods looking for something interesting to do right now. The creature was quiet a sight to see this time of day. It looked ghost like yet he was no ghost not even close. The creature had glowing red eyes and all it features were contorted in horrifying ways and seemed to taper off in to nothingness. It had no real gender either. Its energy was that of pure evil and hate. And it floated a few feet off the ground as it moved threw the forest looking for its next victim. See this creature was one of those who fed off of the fear and pain of other. It was essential to its well being . Though in this world it did not have much trouble find victims. Humans were such naive creatures that was for sure. Though that did not always make them easy prey. Though humans were not its only prey. no the creature loved to feed off of any creature unfortunate enough to cross its path.
you see So you Slowly recall
The creature now kept on floating drooling and mumbling insanely as it floated threw looking for anything that caught its interest. You see the monster could change its mind about making someone its prey if it wanted to use them. See it liked to make others its slaves when it did not want to feed off of them. Phears was a cruel monster who only wanted pain and suffering from others. That was what its kind lived for . Love and compassion hurt them and would kill them if they were exposed to it long enough. The creature now turned towards a sound its eyes glowing in the darkness. It was a young animal of some sort. A deer as the humans called them phears thought. A good thing to feed off of for the moment. Phears growled now reaching out with its claws hands and gasping the creature with them. The touch caused phears pain but it would all be worth it in a moment or two.
all your mind You ask why
The young deer made a sound of fear as it looked in to the glowing eye of its capture. Phears just smiled a wicked smile as its eyes turned green. Phears then used its strange powers to make the creature feel even more fear at its presence. The deer wiggled and tried to fight the creature but phears was strong beyond belief when it was feeding. Fear was what made its kind feel stronger. After a few more moments its prey when limp and fears gave a growl that sounded like an animal that was satisfied. He then dropped the creature to the ground making a small thud as it hit. The creature then looked about seeing if there was anyone around who had seen it attack the animal. Because that would mean that phears would have another victim to either kill or convince it was not that bad. Whatever one the creature though would serve it better.
your soul's gone cold, and all your hope
Phears then peered threw the trees as it saw a young woman walking threw. The creature then saw her stop and put her hand to her sword as she was getting ready to attack . That made the creature laugh a bit at that thought. What she did not know what that pain would not hurt the creature it would just make it more upset. No only touch and love hurt them that was the way its kind were . Though the creature was smart enough not to approach the female just yet. No it just watched her and smile showing its long sharp fangs as phears hovered over its latest victim. The creature wanted her to come to it first. Then it growled making sure the woman heard the terrifying sound. The monster was issuing a challenge to her telling her that this was its neck of the woods now. Though the creature was not sure rather she would accapet it or not . Phears hoped she would though it wanted a fight tonight.
has run Dry you are now dead inside.

Shimiku ---------------------- -----------------------------------
It had been quite the day for poor Shimi not a bad day but, boy it was a long one. Lia had been keeping her up all night but, she couldn't deny her it had been too long since they spent quality time together. And her days!? Don’t get her started being M.I.A for about 6 months does wonders for your school/work life. So between half hour naps she was typing, typing, and doing more typing; writing make up papers to catch back up in school and finishing half done articles get catch back up on deadlines. Thankfully her foster-parents were nice enough to take care of her expenses while she was gone but, she still needed to pay them back. Then there was dealing with Rach and H to get Rabbit back up and running at full speed. This wasn’t a bother to Shimi she loved the Forged Sword but, it was bit of a bitch to fit in her hectic schedule.
--------------------- ---------------------------------- ----------
Thankfully now she was about caught up giving her some time to be Rabbit Snow for the first time since she had been back. Her suit and other fancy tech were still at the Forged Sword so she was in her classic get up tonight. She had been so used to finding work through L.A.U.R.E that was afraid she might have lost her touch but, oddly enough that wasn't the case. There were plenty of rumors around town about a creature of some sorts causing a bit of trouble in the forest. So tonight that would be her first destination.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snow ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She actually loved hunting down things it forest it gave her a kinda 'predator of the night' feel. Also it wasn't all that hard for her once she learned the proper way doing it. It was actually quite meditative, once entering the forest all she needed to do was call forth enough moisture in the environment to create a thick rolling fog. Then it was as simple as silently moving along in the trees slightly behind the fog the water would do the rest for her. She combed through the trees behind clinging mist at first getting nothing really; simple creatures a few supernatural ones but only small fries like fairies n' such. Then she suddenly reached an anomaly one section held a human woman and an alive yet dead deer. That didn't make any sense at all which most likely meant she found what she was looking for. The water only could tell her simple shapes of creatures, aura's and life force. Whether or not its reading where accurate or depended on her eyes however, past experience told her that a human near an odd life force reading like that probably meant that the human wasn't human.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
Rabbit quickly advanced into the fog to check out the scene for herself. In an attempt to keep herself hidden from whatever prey she was currently hunting she drastically slowed down the fog bringing it to a standstill around the area. She still kept her roost high in the tree tops as she advanced on the scene lightly hopping from branch to branch. Her light frame and gentle movement techniques learned from Tai Chi allowed her to move quickly, safely, and quietly through the forest tree tops. Once upon the woman’s position she froze herself to a sturdy tree branch hanging upside down like a spider to get a better view of the situation. Nothing immediately sinister came from the woman she seemed human enough but, Rabbit knew better. The queer feeling from the deer told her enough that she knew something had sucked the life essence from it. Plus now the she was closer she could barely make out a pair of floating red lights and some sort of tattered black grab. So there was a 3rd creature here that her fog failed to tell her about. It seemed so ghost like in appearance that Rabbit really couldn't make out exactly what it was. If it truly was a intangible her creature her only defense would be her Muramasa blade which she hoped she wouldn't have to draw. While it was a powerful weapon it was cursed like all Muramasa blades. The sword had a will of its own and would impose it on Rabbit in order to feed its hunger for violence. Still on the bright side Muramasa’s feed on souls so in theory cutting an intangible spirit would cause it to attempt to eat them. Still it was incredibly dangerous Khaine’s harsh mental assaults on Rabbit may have increased her will but, it left her more prone to blood frenzies due of the blades maddening side effects. The sword couldn’t take her mind it instead whispered to her, beckoning Rabbit to let loose all of that built up rage. Not wanting to act to hastily Rabbit held her position prepping herself for action. She would wait to see what the creature would do it might not be the real threat it here. The woman could be anything all sorts of evil beings seemed to love to take humanoid forms. Hell for all Rabbit knew the woman could be controlling the ghastly thing.
For a moment everything went silent. Whatever caused the noise had stopped, almost like there was nothing there at all. Of course Dahlia didn't second guess herself, she knew that she heard something. The noise had been too loud for it to have been her imagination. It had sounded as if something had fallen to the ground. Had some predator's meal fallen from the trees? That was unlikely, most of the normal beast that lived in this neck of the woods couldn't carry carcasses up in the trees. It was more likely that it was a living creature that was hiding in the trees. But what? Cold eyes gazed around her as she took in the smells around her, hoping to catch some kind of hint as to what she was dealing with. Oddly enough there wasn't any real scent at all. There was no scent of a predator there...but wait...she caught something. The scent wasn't that of a predator but it was familiar. She could smell the deer in the direction of the noise.
But something about its presence was not quite right. Deers weren't too keen on making a lot of noise unless they were running from something. And this deer wasn't running from anything, if it was it wouldn't still be there, and at the very least she could see it. A second wiff caused her more concern. It was impossible to not smell the sheer terror in the animal. Surely that didn't come from her. Though any animal could easily smell the cougar in her (let alone the not so subtle tail) it wouldn't remain in one spot out of fear. Something was wrong here...
Instinctively Dahlia moved to grab her sword just as the growling started. Well, well, well, what do we have here? she wondered. It looked like the huntress had been right about something fishy being out here. Whatever it was, it was definitely not a deer. But still she couldn't see it. Whatever it was wanted to stay hidden, not out of fear though. That growl wasn't a warning but a challenge. That thing wanted her to come for it. What a clever little monster. If Dahlia had been an ordinary stupid person she would have either ran for it, or fall for the taunt. But she wasn't like that. Running head first into a fight when she couldn't even see what she was facing was stupid. She wasn't going to fall for the trap, but she wasn't going to do nothing about her opponent either.
The woman drew her sword and stood her ground, just as the fog rolled in. Odd, she didn't remember the weather report saying that there would be fog. Was this a coincidence, or was her enemy trying to play tricks with her? Well, there was only one way to find out. "If you want to fight then come out and face me." the woman growled. Play time was over.
Oh who will we murder now you
The evil creature now stood over its latest victim wondering if the other would take its challenge now. the creature wanted a to find a slave now that it was fed. That way it would have food for latter. If she did not come to Phears it would come after her and attack her . Or maybe Phears would try to talk to her convince to join its side. Make some sort of deal with her that could benefit it. See the creature may not look like buy the creature was very intelligent when it came to bending others to its will. Most knew that it was powerful and wanted to avoid upsetting its hind at all costs. And those who did challenge them ended up ripped in to tiny little chunks or killed in some other horrible way. That was how the creature worked you see. it loved to cause untold pain and suffering to all that it met. Phears was a tyrant where it came from and that was what it planned to be while it was here. And it would start by making this one suffer . Yes that is exactly what it would do now.
can now see what we are becoming
Just as the monster was about to come closer it saw a strange fog start to roll in. That made Phears growl louder and move a bit higher thinking that it was an attack from the female that it was stalking. Most attacks would not hurt it. the creature was no ghost no it was something much worse much more terrifying it was a monster know as a Dolore Voratum . They were more of their own race then they were related to anything else. They were not even from this world to tell the truth. its eyes now glowed a deadly coal red as it glared around getting a strange feeling now. the creature then moved closer to where the other was at smiling and drooling as it did so. Phears then stopped when it was close enough to where she could see its ragged torn feature and horribly twisted features.
An onyx veil that filters out the
Phears did not see the other in the trees therefore she was ignored for the time being. Instead it looked over the female before it taking in her feature as she stood there. She looked human yet she had some features that were not. Namely that long cat like tale that was behind her as she stood there. Phears smile watching her as she drew her sword out as if she was ready to fight it. Did she not know that would not kill him. Nothing but touch by flesh or love hurt its kind . That was why most could never kill them when they went on a killing spree. Phears now lowed himself to about six feet off of the ground starting at her intently as it thought about what it was going to say next.
Light now I'll savor this anger for My hate
Phears eyes got a playful look to them as they looked at her now. The monster then started to laugh at her. It was a high pitched screaming sound like that of a woman being tortured by a thousand blades. it then stopped and growled darkly before speaking again. “foolish creature you can not hurt me. You are nothing but prey to my kind. However as you might have noted I have already fed. So perhaps a less violence approach is in order?” Phears said in a tone that sounded both high pitched and ghoulish. Like someone screaming and choking at the same time. That made its words hard to understand as well. Phears now smiled eyes glowing as it floated its wispy body off of the cold ground. it also moved its horribly twisted hands in front of its body as Phears watched the girl and awaited her reaction to its words.
just makes me that much stronger
