The little things give you away You don't believe in me,
A soft cool breeze made it’s way threw the land causing anything light enough to be picked up and carried away with it to an unknown destination. Many would not want to be alone on a night like this. They would want to be surrounded by their friends or maybe their lovers. That was not possible for the traveler who now floated threw these woods. She used to have them but that kind of life was well behind her. Though she did have someone whom she loved she had not seen them for a while. That made her feel a not sad. Now a days she walked the earth waiting for an end to her lonely existence. She had servable choices to rid herself of this feeling. She could anger some magic user and go to the other side that way. She had a nagging feeling that choice would be very painful. The other choice was that she could try to make a companion or at least find someone who dose not want to run at first sight. Though that was unlikely to ever happen.
I mean nothing to you
In life she had a life and she was well known. Now she was just a creature who was trapped in this realm. But all was not lost. There were some benefits to being a ghost. You could walk threw walls. You did not feel pain from attacks. All sorts of things. But there was also some draw backs. You could not stop reliving your death. You could not touch anyone or anything. To make things worse you were considered a monster by most. She could never blame them for running from her . After all her appearance was sort of fighting to those who had never see a creature like herself. She also had wounds that always bled making a small trail of blood where ever she went. Of course most did not see that. In fact most never saw her. This just served as a constant reminder that she was not of this world.
You Don't even care what you're
The ghost now stopped as she came to a small clearing in the woods. She smiled looking around. This would not be a bad place to hang around for a while. She crossed her legs as she floated about three feet from the ground. She then looked up with her glowing eyes. She had to wonder who would be foolish enough to go in to the woods after dark. Probably no one but she would watch and wait. Maybe they would be friendly. Or maybe not she would have to wait and see.
breaking And I'm not mistaken
