His body moved along the forests edges for a long while, hours in fact had past before the hound could even delve even a centimeter into the forest again. His mind was a reeling as unsure as ever, but could you really blame the mentally unstable hound? No, in fact many would try to make sense of his mentality problem, however no one ever would. A hound was a monster no matter which way you looked at it that no matter what they tried they would never be able to love someone normally, or at least that was the way that Vycer saw life, thus his reason for just taking off on that female years ago. Why would he stay with someone he knew he'd cheat on? There wasn't to much of a point for him to do so? No, there would never be a point of letting his feelings get the better of him. Recently however that once more was becoming a problem, yet this time it wasn't over being romantic to a woman. The reason that he was becoming attached was the woman knew the predicament of a hound, maybe he just felt that it became a protection thing. Vycer was in the mind set that he must do what he could to protect the woman, but for reason's he couldn't figure out just yet.
Taking in a deep breath after a few more moments the hound finally sauntered into the darkening forest. It was becoming night and soon the nightful prowlers would show themselves, so would another hound whom he would expect soon, hopefully within the next hour. Guillotine had become a companion of sorts the only real hound the man could even think of concentrating his mentality on, at least yet. Many hounds he'd heard in the city were pathetic and either allowed their mentality to get them killed or captured, yet this hound seemed to be a little more focused, yet something seemed off about him as well. A question loomed deep within Vycer's mind about this hound as well. He smelled much like the hound the female Akeelah had been around when he recently met her, could it be that he was the hound that she had spoken so coldly about?
Unsure as to how to approach the coming hour Vyc finally allowed himself to stop probably a third of the way into the forest, closing his eyes as he focused his ears. He wouldn't allow anything in this forest to come up and surprise him again. Many had tried to sneak up on him as of late, though he still wasn't sure the reason why. He had a feeling it had to do with his association with some of the people within this area. If they brought him into trouble so help them, for he wasn't one to enjoy the company of the fed's neither did his mentality.

Guillotine shuttered as a cold blast of wind swept through his jet back hair. The nights where getting colder. Winter would be coming soon; he could feel it in his bones. Guillotine loathed that dreadful season. Luckily he lived in the south where it rarely snowed, but yet the winter months where still overwhelmingly cold for the young hellhound. Hell, he would still be locked away in his warm apartment if he didn’t have to meet a friend. Guillotine was tempted to leave his new buddy and return to the safety of his warm home, however he was sure the man would come looking for him. The last thing he would want to do was upset a male he actually got along with. Surprisingly, this friend was a male hellhound. It was rare for Gil to put aside his habits and become friends with male. Usually the man surrounded himself with females but this time he managed to snag a member of the same sex. The strange thing was Guillotine actually got along with Vycer. After a few meetings Gil began to warm up to the other hellhound. With a loud sigh Guillotine started trekking through the large forest. He kept his eye open for any sort of movement. The male lifted his head and began to sniff the air. Nothing. The male grumbled as he began to walk deeper into the woods. Guillotine was reluctant to go too far. Akeelah lived in these very woods, and the last thing he wanted to do was run into her. Yet another blast of wind broke Guillotine’s concentration. He shuttered. The wind carried a familiar scent with it. Guillotine lifted his head to the heavens once again and inhaled deeply. Vycer!? Finally! The male spun around and followed the scent trail. As he did so a large toothy grin creased his lips. It would be fun to sneak up on the male. Guillotine slowed his pace once he crept upon Vycer. Gil approached from behind. The male remembered what Akeelah had taught him, and he managed to keep his foot falls quiet. As Guillotine neared Vycer he opened his mouth and prepared to give the hound a playful bite on the shoulder. That is if he wasn’t caught first. There was still time for Vycer to turn around and catch the man.

The hound wasn't all to sure how to react to the feelings that had been enveloping him recently. It was like meeting that shifter girl had stirred old emotions and knowledge that he had buried within his memory for specific reasons, reasons he felt no one had the right to even attempt to understand. Pushing his hands into his pockets, the hound took in a deep breath trying to clear his mind further, but it just didn't seem to work. As the memories rushed within centimeters of the surface the hound caught just the simplest scent of something familiar near him, however he couldn't place it yet. As the hound continued to stand there head lowered in concentration one last scent drifted past him on the wind causing a dark smile to play upon his lips. The hound thought he could sneak up on him? Though the intentions were innocent Vyc wondered how much Guil liked to toy with people and how close he liked to davel into danger.
"Come now Guil I don't think you've learned your hunting skills all to well, however I'll praise you on trying to sneak up on me so gracefully." He then laughed carefully as he allowed his head to raise towards the tops of the trees to look into the small amount of moonlight that snuck through the tree tops. Finally after a moment he turned to the hound behind him. The man had only recently met Guillotine, yet it seemed that the hound was a good companion much like the brother Vycer never had. His mind for now detoured away from the haunting memories, Vycer pulled his hands out of his pants pockets crossing them lightly across his chest in a sense to let the hound know he wasn't angry at what he'd just attempted. Guillotine, though more than likely much older than himself, was seen by Vyc as a friend and brother, his nature to a degree mixed well with Vycer and to be honest it didn't matter if it was male or female the hound wasn't one to entertain himself with many people or supernatural's for that matter.

He was so close. Just a few more steps and Guillotine could roll in the glory of sneaking up on his hellhound friend. The male was down in a couched position and everything. A large sharp toothed smile had appeared on his handsome face. This was going to be fun, he couldn’t wait to catch his friend of guard. Unfortunately, his happiness was short lived. Gil should have known better. It would be next to impossible to sneak up on the man. Vycer knew of his presence. Just as Guillotine approached him he spoke. His words caused the hellhound to stop in mid-step. Guillotine rolled his single forest green eye and striated his posture. He slipped his pale hands into his coat pocket and kicked up some dirt with his size ten converse. “Just had to ruin it for me huh?” The male cooed in a teasing sort of tone. The tall man strolled over to his buddy’s side and released a low snort. His single emerald eye examined Vycer as the man continued to look up at the night sky. He was about to speak when Vycer finally spun around to face him. “So Why are we out here?” Guillotine questioned, he slowly slipped his hands out from his pockets and rubbed them together. He tried to create a little bit of friction between his rough palms as another blast of cool air swept past his tall frame. “Couldn’t we meet in the city where it’s a little bit warmer. You know I fucking hate this cold weather.” The male was complaining however he was sure Vycer wouldn’t have any of it. The male grumbled to himself. He would have to deal with the cold for now. “So what did you have in mind for tonight? Should we go hunting?” The male suggested before a more lustful idea popped into that sick head of his. “Maybe we could go into the city and chase some tail.” Guillotine licked his lips with satisfaction. He was a free man now, as unfortunate as that might seem. Of course he wouldn’t want Vycer to know of his recent break up so he decided to keep that information under wraps. Vycer didn't have to know about Akeelah. Guillotine stood there and waited for an answer. All the while a large smile continued to stretched his face.

Vycer was more than pleased at the reaction that he received from his fellow hound, the man apparently found it upsetting that he was found out, thus his insistent wining, but that didn't end up mattering to him. When it comes to the fact of the wining Vycer could handle it, or at least could handle it to a degree, however what did get on his nerves was the hound was so stuck on the hunt for tail that it wasn't even funny. Looking away from the moon once more the hound looked at his companion who's smile was smooth and lustful, however the one that played upon Vycer's own was that of blood, and hunger. He wasn't one to hunt to often mostly because of the fact that things had been bothering him, outside of the regular.
"Rumor's have been flying around the city my dear hound, can we take a few moments to go over said rumors?" Leaving it at that more a rhetorical question than anything, Vyc pushed on, "I wondered when I first met you if the connection was possible, but I get this feeling you know someone I know, someone with the fiery temper of a true goddess, I didn't catch the darling's name, but if it is you..." He then paused turning once more towards the small amount of moonlight above his eyes glimmering with a smooth pride and protection, "I want to know why you did it... or more like why the allowance of it, whichever you want to say." Looking down to his fellow hound, his eyes and lips now portraying a more sadness than anything.
Akeelah had been a shifter of many attitudes, quite obvious by the factor of her instant aggression at her ex being brought into the subject, yet the name had never been brought out, probably for better reason's than needed to be known, yet here Vycer stood with a man he'd begun to consider a brother feeling like the father, or brother of the young female whom had disrupted his last hunting expedition, "After the question has been answered and you know I want take to beating around the bush just as much as you don't to questions, we can head into the city and do as you wish. I don't mean to sound hateful or over confident with this, but I need to know."

The hellhound rolled his single forest green eye as Vycer looked to the heavens once more. Was something bothering him? Guillotine cocked his head, and leaned his back against one of the many trees that littered the forest floor. The man then folded his arms in front of his chest and waited for Vycer to speak. It took a minute or two for the man to actually speak. He seemed to have something on his mind. What could possibly be more important than going hunting? Soon Gil got his answer.
Vycer turned to Guillotine and spoke of rumors. “Rumors?” the hellhound repeated with a hint of annoyance in his voice. These rumors where bothering Vycer. The opposing hellhound seemed concerned, and wanted to talk about the rumors he heard floating around the city. Guillotine rolled his single forest green eye. Their hunting trip would be delayed. But more importantly, what where these rumors he was talking about? “Fine, whatever.” This was the best reply Vycer was going to get. What the hellhound said next confused the male a bit. Temper? Goddess? Guillotine thought about this for a moment. Was this man talking about Akeelah? Gil was a bit taken-a-back by this. The hellhound took a step back, only to run his back into a tree trunk. He then looked to the ground. God, the last thing he wanted to do was talk about Akeelah. “You are a real buzz kill you know that?” Guillotine replied before releasing a low sigh.
If Vycer wanted to know about their relationship then why not tell him? After all Gil considered the male to be his brotherly figure. “Why did I do it? Because I could, that’s why.” He replied his voice was stern and full of annoyance. “H-How do you know Akeelah anyway?” Gil gave Vycer a suspicious glare.

Vycer was more than annoyed at the simple demeanor that the hound seemed to take to the conversation. It was uncommon for the hound, though short tempered, to take easy annoyance to those he became close to, this however, was no laughing or simple easy matter either. When he mentioned the factor of knowing the shifter it became apparent, by the motions that Guil made that he in fact knew the female he was referring to, and it seemed it was something that truly upset the hound to be brought up.
"A buzz kill? No, I am more of a curious man, something by now you should know..." he said his voice now monotone, all business, "because you could do it?! I understand we have a certain, how you say nature about us, but you should have known from the start that if you weren't going to settle with the woman not to get involved as deep as became apparent you did." His voice held then a sharp harsh tone to it, anger slowly rising in his slowly rising blood temperature.
Guil then asked how Vycer knew the woman, "I ran into her out in these very woods recently. She does seem to have a how you put it, drawing nature about her I will say... She spoke to me about you, though no names were ever given, I came to suttle conclusion of my own accord. After initially interupting my hunting course we had a short conversation..." Leaning against a tree not far from his fellow hound Vyc felt a deep sigh escape his lips as he began to figure out the best way to continue this situation.
"I won't chide you about this situation Guil, you should know that in the little bit of time we have known each other that I do not do such things, because I do know of our nature, but I will tell you I'm not the happiest about the ending of the situation. I almost made the same mistake as you a few years ago when I first came here, however I made the right choice and walked away as soon as I realized how far the situation had gone, you did not... you need to figure the correct path for this, whether fixing both of your issues and moving forward or at least ending it properly instead of in the childish high school manor it appears to have been left in."

The air around the two hellhound hung thick with anxiety. Guillotine could sense it, annoyance, anger, simple emotions that had begun to flood out of the two beasts. It was only a matter of time before one of them snapped. Guillotine could feel his blood pressure skyrocket as Vycer continued to talk. The foolish hellhound didn’t seem to understand that Vycer was actually trying to help him. Guillotine released a foul snort and crossed his arms over his chest. He didn’t like how this situation was beginning to escalate into something more dangerous. A sense of immature jealousy began to wash over Guillotine as Vycer spoke of his past relationships. The opposing male then mentioned to Gil that he should straighten up his act or just stop thinking about Akeelah altogether. Guillotine’s single blood red eye narrowed. The hair that stood atop Gil’s skull began to spike up like the hackles of an angry canine, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
Finally, Gil looked away. This was a sign of submission. However, Gil would surly deny it. “Stay out of my business Vycer. I am my own hound, I do as I please.” Guillotine warned. After a minute or two of silence Gil spoke again, this time he looked Vycer in the eye as he spoke. “-Just stay away from Akeelah, and we won’t have any problems…ok?” Though the two where no longer together Gil still felt very protective of his EX. Guillotine truly liked his little hellhound friend, it would be a real shame if the two had to fight over something as stupid as this. Though Gil did feel his temper rising, he attempted to calm down. “Our relationship is over and done with anyway.” Guillotine said before he shook his head like a wet dog. He had to get his mind off Akeelah. She was no longer around, and he had to deal with that. “Why don’t we start hunting or something…” Gil said in an attempt to change the subject.
