As autumn took on its full form, the air had grown slightly colder. So far south, though, they wouldn’t get to see the leaves changing colors or need anything beyond a light jacket on the coldest days. It never snowed down here and a lot of people were grateful for that, not entirely fond of the snow. Andreios however? He had never seen the snow. Well, he’d seen snow on movies, TV shows, and pictures, but he had never actually seen snow before in his life. It looked so beautiful framed up in a well thought out painting, and it looked like so much fun to play in when he saw Christmas shows on the television when he was young and still lived with his mother, Emma. Those had been the days…
Life had gotten even better since then, if it was even possible. Rei had met the wonderful girl, Griffyn, who he was proud to call his girlfriend of almost two years. It had just been over a year and some odd months since they met, but it had been the best year of his life. She’d moved in with him and he’d been happy ever since. Even the little demon inside of his head seemed to be a bit happier—though slightly more annoyed when he decided the talk—for who he was. It was a nice change of pace to have him take a back burner in his life as he spent more and more time with her and felt himself grow as a person each day. He never knew what he would do without that girl of his.
Walking along the shoreline of Lake Potrain, he waited patiently for her to arrive. They’d planned on meeting each other here today and Andreios and told her that he had a surprise for her. He couldn’t wait until she got there to reveal to him what he had planned for her. Her smile always brightened up his day and he couldn’t wait to see her shining face. His hands were shoved into the pockets of his dark denim jeans, the white t-shirt he wore stretching across his chest and his hair ruffled by the slight breeze. Under his calm demeanor he was definitely feeling like a child whose parent had just let loose in a candy store. He wanted to do handstands and cartwheels he was so happy and excited! Of course, though, he’d keep calm…at least until Griffyn got there. Nothing could ruin this day for him.

Griffyn practically ran out of work and got onto her moped, hastily putting on her helmet and driving off towards Lake Pontrain. She was going to be late meeting Rei- if it weren't for that picky customer who'd had her restart the order four times before finally leaving without so much as a thank you. It was at moments like those that she was extremely glad that she had someone who cared about her to go home to. Or, in this case, to go to the lake with. She and Andreios had been together for almost two years, and she couldn't have been happier. She was glad that he didn't seem to be having as many problems with Hyde as he once did. It was so refreshing, just being able to spend time with him without interruptions or anything of the sort. She stopped at a light and glanced at her phone, rereading the text he had sent her about their afternoon at the lake. He had a surprise for her, and Griffyn had no idea what it could possibly be. Maybe a picnic lunch or a new phone skin with her favourite movie or tv show character at the time. Or maybe it was it was chocolate- the thought brought a smile to the girl's face. She sped up just a little, turning down the road to the lake where she knew Rei would be waiting.
Griffyn parked her bike along the street and began to wall to the lakeside. She often thought about her background a lot more nowadays and she had decided that she wanted to tell Rei, but she didn't know when to bring it up. It was enough to ruin even the happiest of days...maybe before bed one night.... It couldn't hurt, to not have any more secrets. She stopped for a second and looked around for her boyfriend, spotting him with his hands in his pockets. Griffyn smiled and called out to him as she ran down to him, slowing down enough to keep herself from knocking him over when she hugged him. She laughed, resting her head on his chest while she caught her breath. The sun shone off of the lake with a brilliant sparkle, which she could catch glimpses of before she looked up into Andreios' blue eyes. His eyes definitely had to be her favourite thing about him, with his hugs coming in at a close second. She could get lost in them for hours if she was giving the chance. But not now. Important things needed to be discussed.
"How are you, sweetheart?" she asked sweetly, standing on her toes to give him a soft kiss on his cheek. Her day at work was completely forgotten as she listened to Rei as he spoke. As she watched him, a memory of her father crossed her mind. She pushed it away quickly, to keep herself from crying. This wasn't the time to be thinking about things like him, or her mother. For now, it was just Rei and herself. And a surprise.

It's a bit short, sorry >.< Rei looked up with a soft smile when he heard Griffyn approaching. Her lips against his cheek were gentle and he returned the action by nuzzling her head affectionately. "Hello there gorgeous." he said, running a hand gently through her hair and watching her. "I'm doing great. Even better now that you're here. How are you?"
Andreios had decided to take her out on a romantic picnic while the weather was nic. He'd told her it was a surprise and had kept it a secret until now. As she answered his question he gently took her hand in his and led her over a little ways to where he had everything set up. There were candles, some nice wine, bread, cheese, and of course her favorite dish. He'd cooked it all that morning after she left for work. He was happy that it had been nice and sunny and not rainy a dull. A perfect Autumn day to share with his lovely girlfriend.
He placed his hands over her eyes from behind her. "No peeking." he whispered in her ear before leading her forward carefully. He knew she might have a hard time not being able to see but he would take her to the spot carefully. Upon reaching the spot he uncovered her eyes and watched her face to see her reaction. The blanket was set out underneath a tree, the picnic basket he borrowed from Emma was sitting on one of it's corners with the candles lit and in the middle of the blanket. Two wine glasses were set for the two of them with the wine sitting next to the blazing candles. Luckily, there wasn't much wind and the candles stayed lit. Truly he was in the god's favor on this day.
"Do you like it?"
"It's a little bit girly for me."
Oh great...

Griffyn's cheeks turned red when Rei called her gorgeous, and she giggled as he rubbed her head with his own. She still wasn't used to the way his words made her feel- but at the same time, she wasn't sure that she ever wanted to be. She loved the feeling of her heart skipping a beat when he spoke, and the way it pounded when he was close to her. It was all so exciting, the relentless flirting, watching movies together, cuddling on the couch while playing video games, his kisses...- her heart started racing just thinking about it.
"I'm excited! I can't wait to see your surprise," the girl smiled as her boyfriend took her hand. The weather was so nice- there wasn't much of a breeze, and the sun was shining brightly, lending its heat to the earth below it. There were a lot of people out enjoying the weather. Andreios had picked a good day to spend out by the lake. Now if only they could get to the surprise! if her excitement didn't kill her, her anticipation would!!
Griffyn looked up at Rei when he stopped her and stepped behind her. It took almost everything she had not to flip him over when he covered her eyes- from pure instinct. "N,no peeking...." she repeated, her voice shaking with the effort it took not to run or fight. Adrenaline rushed through her veins and she bit her lip, thinking only of the surprise and Rei and nothing else. She reached up and found his hands, gripping his wrists tightly to keep her sanity as she shuffled her feet along the ground along with the man that was leading her. After what felt like forever, he stopped her and took his hands off of her eyes. When she saw the picnic he had laid out for them, Griffyn let out a girly squeal and clapped happily, blushing furiously as she turned to face him again.
"I love it!" she cried, grinning. Her smile started to fade as she noticed that Andreios' eyes had clouded over before clearing up again. That could only mean one thing...oh no....

((The title said open so I hope you don't mind me popping in, if not then let me know and I will delete my post. :3)) Night was growing near, as the sun began to make its descent below the horizon. The creatures of the night began to make their presence known, the beast that called themselves hellhound were no exception. Despite his hatred of the cold, Gil managed to make his way through the woods that seemed to surround a nearby lake. The cool autumn air nipped at Guillotine’s flesh as he continued his trek through the dense forest. His tall frame sported a dark grey jacket, and a blood red scarf. Though he was bundled up, he could still feel the cool air. Guillotine’s coldblooded nature was working against him at this point. It was foolish of him to even consider going out in to the elements. An unquenchable blood lust had driven the beast from his nice warm home. He could only take so much human cuisine. It did nothing for him nutrition wise, nor could he ever keep it down. Human food was virtually useless for him. Clearly, this hungry male wasn’t planning on going home empty handed. He needed flesh, and he needed it now! The cool air wasn’t making things easy for the coldblooded beast. Guillotine kept his nose and mouth bundled in the scarf as he walked. This kept his face warm, but hindered his sense of smell. After an hour or so of tracking he finally came across an interesting scent. Guillotine dropped onto his knees and pulled his scarf down. He then began to sniff the ground like some sort of dog. Once the smell entered his sensitive nose, a large toothy grin stretched Gil’s face. “Interesting…” He cooed as he stood back up. This scent was quite familiar, too bad he couldn’t put a face to this lovely feminine aroma, but he defiantly smelled it before. With a pleased grin Gil made his way to the edge of the forest. The tall male could see the edge of the lake. He kept his nose uncovered as he strolled towards the lakefront. Just as he crept upon the forest line something caused him to stop. The familiar scent from before swept passed Guillotine’s nose once more, but this time another smell accompanied it. Guillotine frowned, this new smell was male. Guillotine grumbled to himself. The hellhound was really looking forward to being alone with a female, bit it seemed his luck had run short. All well, the more the merrier, right? Despite his hunger Guillotine stayed where he was and crouched down. It wouldn’t hurt to stalk them a little. The hellhound had learned a thing or two from his ex Akeelah. Waiting for your meal to come to you would be more effective than running blindly towards prey. He would wait, and attack them when their guard was dropped. Guillotine peered through the brush and watched the two love birds. Just watching them, left a foul bile like taste in Guillotine’s mouth. The jet black hair that stood atop the male’s head began to spike up like the hackles of an angry canine. The anticipation was getting to him. He’d lay in wait like a snake, when the opportunity came, he’d strike.

You're good :D Haha, things should get interesting now~ ”Did you miss me?” Hyde’s voice sneered at Rei and he could almost sense the smirk that would have definitely accompanied his words. The male tried to ignore him, flashing a toothy smile at Griffyn. The last thing he wanted was for her to worry about Hyde. He had to live with him his whole life, but Griffyn coming into his life had been new and Andreios still wasn’t sure if she was used to the fact he shared his body with a demon or if she knew how to handle him when he was in fits of rage over Hyde. Hopefully she wouldn’t notice that he’d made his appearance known once again and they could enjoy a simple day out together. It had been quite a while since they were able to go out with one another due to busy work schedules.
”I thought we could enjoy the day together since I didn’t have to work and you got off early today.” he said rather cheerfully—perhaps he was trying to cover up his slight annoyance at Hyde with his tone of voice—urging her over to the picnic and gesturing for her to sit down. Andreios soon took a place beside her, long legs stretching out before he settled down into a position he found comfortable and grabbed the wine bottle. ”Would milday care for some wine?” he asked, smirking and raising a brow playfully. Oh, how could he not act silly when he was around her? ”Probably because you like to make a fool of yourself?” he chuckled darkly, his voice seemingly taking up all the space in his mind and echoing off of his brain. How he wished he could rip him out and strangle him… Instead he kept his attention focused on Griffyn, smile never faltering as he popped open the bottle. With a steady hand he filled both glasses about halfway before setting the bottle down once again and leaning over to give a quick kiss to her cheek. Griffyn’s pale flesh was soft and felt good against his lips before he pulled away and took a sip of his wine. ”Did you have a good day at work?” Rei asked; though he felt the hairs on the back of his neck suddenly stand on end. A bad feeling swept through his body, the feeling of someone watching him. He wanted to look around, to try and see the source of this feeling but his brain told him that wasn’t a very good idea. Still, Andreios let his cerulean oculars look around casually, as if he seemed to be enjoying the scenery. He didn’t turn his head, just his eyes as he tried to locate someone that could be a potential danger. Alas, the male found nothing and he wasn’t picking up any unusual scent on the wind. His instincts told him it wasn’t safe, poking and prodding at him to move to a different location, but he decided—against his better judgment—to push those feelings aside for right now. Maybe he was just being a bit paranoid? He had been listening to Mr. CreepyPasta on YouTube lately. Some of those stories—even the ones that could never possibly happen—were pretty chilling. Andreios wrote it off as his own paranoia, settling his gaze on Griffyn while she spoke. Besides, luck seemed to be on his side today. What could possibly go wrong? [/blockquote]

Griffyn watched Andreios, hiding her growing worry as his eyes clouded over again right before he gave her a goofy grin. His smile soothed her worries just a little, but it didn't change the fact that Hyde was back. She had been with him for long enough to memorize the warning signs of when his demon was coming or when he was going to get angry. Even though it still scared her a little, she was normally able to handle it pretty well until Rei regained control of himself... Hiding in her room with the door locked was a decent reaction..wasn't it? It wasn't something they often talked about, his demons or hers. He normally tried to hide it when Hyde was around, and she went along with it because she knew it was hard enough for him to handle without worrying her. But their work schedules were so crazy that sometimes he would be in bed before she got home from the night shift and they'd go for days without saying much of anything to each other and the topic was pushed farther and farther away. They needed to have a long conversation about EVERYTHING. She needed to learn once and for all how to help Rei when Hyde was tormenting him and he needed to learn who she was. But would that ever happen...?
When he spoke, Griffyn almost frowned. His voice was that kind of cheerful that actors used when they were on children's television shows. She supposed it was for her benefit, but as he gently pushed her to the picnic blanket, she found herself worrying even more. But he wanted a relaxing day together and she wasn't going to let her worry over him ruin it for him. She smiled up at him as she sat down and got comfortable. "Well I'm glad that you did. It's a beautiful day to be out!" She watched as he sat down and giggled at his silly behavior. If anything could melt the worry away, he could. The fact that his eyes had gone funny didn't even register as she smiled at her boyfriend. "She would love some, kind sir," she said happily. She watched him fill up the glasses and giggled again when he kissed her cheek. How was it possible that someone could make her so blissfully happy?
As Rei asked about work, Griffyn suddenly felt a chill. She noticed that Andreios had seemed to tense up as well, but she couldn't tell why. As far as she could feel, there weren't any other nonhuman auras around except for the one right in front of her.
Somebody's watching. Get away from there. Someone is watching you, get up! Griffyn's instincts yelled clear commands in her head, and she shut her eyes against them and rubbed her temples. If Rei wasn't getting up, she wasn't going to ask him to. "Simple answer..no. I hate having to deal with the customers that seem to forget that coffee is coffee and putting three quarters of a cup of whole milk isn't really all that different from putting a cup in." She sighed, opening her eyes and looking at him. "I think I want to quit and get a new job as a waitress or something- at least I won't be the one having to prepare the food. What do you think?" Get away, there's something dangerous watching you. Can't you feel it?! Have you not been taught anything?! The girl picked up her glass of wine and took a sip nonchalantly, pleading for the warnings in her mind to go away. She just wanted to enjoy the time she had with her boyfriend, was that too much to ask?!

It's so cold, I hate this, this was a terrible idea...why the hell am I still up here, how much longer is this mask going to last anyways?...It's probably only a matter of time before it gives out again...stupid cheap piece of crap! Kain fumed in his head as he flew towards a city. He shivered as the cold atmospheric air buffeted him again. Flying was overrated, it seriously was. The winds were strong and incredibly random; one minute you've got a fantastic tailwind speeding you along, and then suddenly BAM there's a wall of freaking air in your face throwing you to the ground. Not to mention the cold, nobody ever mentions the cold, it's freezing up there, the air is always moving nonstop, there's no real opportunity for it to warm up. The absolute most irritating thing about flying though, was the noise! The constant blaring in your ears of wind, a never-ending cascade of deafening sound.
The eagle mask did have it's upsides, it had a lot of smaller perks to it. He could change altitude incredibly fast without ever having his ears pop, he loved that. But the one he'd noticed that was the most interesting was his eyesight, if he focused he could see incredibly far away very clearly...his eyes would hurt like hell at the end of it, but still helpful.
Suddenly Kain felt the massive force of the wind in his face reside, and even the roar quieted down. Mean one of two things: Either the wind had died down, which was rare. Or...his mask was out of juice for today. Sure enough, he felt the wings starting to recede back into his spine, and his altitude dropping fast. Letting out a very girlish scream Kain tried to veer himself towards a nearby body of water before he went from gliding to simple just falling.
"Dammit, DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT! Why doesn't this god damn mask have some kind of warning system?!" Kain screamed at the top of his lungs as the wings vanished from his back with a "Pop" that sounded like a bubble burst. He held the mask in his hand and braced himself as he hurtled towards the lake at speeds nobody would envy under most circumstances. Kain tried to make light of his situation and attempted to scream cannonball....but the fear made it come out as more of a.. " CAAAUNNNNUUNNNN BAAAAAUUULLLLL"

A large grin creased Guillotine’s handsome face. The two love birds had yet to realize he was there. This was easy, perhaps a bit too easy. Guillotine was growing more impatient by the second. These two mortals where doing nothing more and exchanging kisses, and sipping their wine--wait wine? Guillotine hadn’t noticed it before; he curiously sniffed at the air. The sweet savory aroma of wine streamed passed his sensitive nose. Ah, perfect! After he killed the two love birds he could enjoy their wine. It seemed like a great idea to the brutish hellhound. The anticipation was beginning to kill him! Truth be told, he wasn’t nearly as patent as his ex. Perhaps these stealth hunts weren’t a great idea after all? Guilltoine’s body began to heat up to record breaking temperatures. Soon enough his body erupted into a pillar of flames. Any and all plant life that just so happen to be next to the tall male began to catch fire. When the towering inferno dispersed a large beastly, hellhound stood in the human Guillotine’s place. Slowly, the beast emerged from his hiding place. His sleek, scaly body pushed through the dense, smoldering underbrush with ease. As Guillotine trotted out into the open, his saliva glands began to go to work. Streams of the sticky, warm substance poured from his jaws. This was all thanks to the dangerously high doses of adrenaline that had begun to pump through his veins. It had been so long sense he had last hunted down a mortal. Unfortunately, Gil was egger to pick up on his bad, murderous habit. The taste of human flesh was just too irresistible to the hellish beast. A dark, sinister chuckle surged from Guillotine’s maw as he made his way towards the two love birds. “Well, what do we have here?” The hellhound snarled as tiny streams of saliva dripped from his hungry maw. The anticipation of this hunt was beginning to get to the beast. Guillotine’s pointed Doberman like ears where cocked forward as he continued to confidently stroll closer to the two beings. The beast’s visible blood red eye remained locked on the two targets ahead of him. Oh, he couldn’t wait to tear into these two. A low chuckle surged from the beast’s mouth once more. He finally stopped ten feet or so from his targets. Guillotine licked his lips with satisfaction as he continued to stare Griffyn and Andreios with hungry eyes. After looking the two beings over his single blood red eye settled onto Griffyn. Ah yes, this was the female he had smelled earlier. He recognized her now. She was one of Blake’s friends. Guillotine’s lips pealed back as he began to bare his razor sharp fangs. He chuckled a bit before speaking. “I remember you…” He cooed. “You’re one of Blake’s little friends aren’t you? Do you even recognize me, Love?” He continued with a smart ass sort of tone. Fate was cruel. Griffyn’s relationship with Blake didn’t seem to matter to the hellhound. The brutish beast was too hungry to care. He figured he could eat this woman-along with her friend-and convince Blake to forgive him later. Guillotine released a foul snort as he waited for a response. Suddenly, a noise rocked through Guilltoine's pointed ears.
" CAAAUNNNNUUNNNN BAAAAAUUULLLLL"
The hellhound's head snapped around to face whoever was making such a racket. All he could see was a mere blurr heading for the water. "What the hell?" He barked, well he really wasn't expecting this! A blur was heading towards the lake. Who the hell was that,Or better yet WHAT was that?
Oh, what an interesting night this was going to be.

Even as Griffyn spoke, Andreios couldn’t shake off the feeling that someone was watching him. It made his skin crawl…But still, he listened as she told him how she wished to quit her job as a small smile spread across his lips. He forced himself to relax and calm down before he replied to her. Ï think that if you’re unhappy there then you should quit. Find a job that you find enjoyable and that you look forward going to everyday. I don’t want my princess coming home every night miserable!” he took on an expression of sadness as he twirled a lock of her russet hair around his index finger gently.
Something suddenly caught his attention, though, as he looked up and saw a beast padding up to them. The bushes that had been behind it were up in flames, heat radiating off of it wildly as the dog-like creature drew closer to them. Rei wasn’t sure what it was, he’d never seen something like it before in his life. It was massive, bigger than any dog he’d ever seen with a scaly body similar to that of what he would imagine a dragon to look like. He seemed to only have on smoldering crimson eye that seemed to look upon the two of them in a blood-lust. Out of instinct the male stood up sharply and halfway in front of Griffyn protectively. ”What are you…?” disgust dripped off his tongue as he watched the hellish beast approach them. ”I believe that’s a hellhound,” Hyde chuckled in the back of Rei’s mind menacingly. ”Nasty things they are.” When he addressed Griffyn, stating she was friends with Blake, Rei had to bite back a low growl of annoyance. Seriously, what the hell. Their day was going perfect until now. ”I don’t care what you are, you’re not getting an inch closer to her.” The male tilted his chin up a little, looking down at him with glaring cobalt oculars whose shade was slowly turning dark amber. In an instant a sleek black form seemed to jump out of the man who had once been standing there, shedding off skin and bones shifting to a different shape. Soon, standing in front of Griffyn, body low to the ground with ears pinned back and unsheathed fangs, Andreios had taken on his panther form. He was ready to pounce, to protect his girlfriend from this monster who was obviously ready to make a meal out of them. Just then, a loud shrieking, girlish voice pierced Rei’s ears and he looked up toward the sky. Something was falling out of the sky—fast. It was all but a blur as the big cat watched the being, attention taken off of the threat at hand. What the hell was that and why was it falling from the sky. ”Well. This is an interesting development.” Hyde snickered, as they watched the body draw closer to the water. Without thinking the large black cat ran off in the direction of the water—completely forgetting about the threat of the hellhound. Whoever was falling could talk so it had to be some sort of human, right? His protective nature had made him leap into action in an attempt to save this person. Would Griffyn be alright by herself against the large beast? He had no clue. [/blockquote]

Griffyn leaned down a little and kissed Rei's finger gently when he began to play with her hair. With his encouragement to quit her job, a sense of relief had filled her- not to mention he had called her his princess. She smiled softly and nodded in response to what he said, opening her mouth to speak again when she noticed flames nearby. The aura hit her like a rock- she KNEW that aura. It was a hellhound, that was clear, but where did she know it from?! Andreios had gotten to his feet and was almost blocking her view of the hostile nonhuman. It had spoken to her- it knew her too. And it mentioned Blake..the girl's eyes widened and she stood, looking at the beast again. Now she remembered, he had been at Blake's apartment when she.... She shook the thought from her mind quickly and focused back on the fiend. Her eyes narrowed into a glare as she replied to his sneering tone.
"Yeah, I remember you. Hiding from the scent of blood, too weak to fight it and stay by your friend's side? How could I forget?" She reached into the bag that still sat on her hip to get a small sword when Rei turned into a panther and took on a defensive stance. She hesitated- maybe she should wait to try and engage a fight with the hound. After all, if Hyde took over while Andreios was fighting, he might turn on her as well. And how could she defend herself if she refused to hurt Rei? Griffyn had almost removed her empty hand from her bag when she heard a yell. She fought the urge to look as both the hellhound and her boyfriend looked at the source of the noise, frowning when she felt the falling aura. Human. She pulled out her sword and dropped her bag as Andreios ran off in the direction of the new aura and she ran up to the hellhound as he was distracted by Rei's movements. Without any hesitation, she spun, slamming a foot into the beast's jaw with speed too great for any normal human while its attention turned back to her. She flipped back quickly and readied herself, holding the sword in her left hand and making a fist with her right. It was obvious that the beast had underestimated her, as did every other nonhuman she had ever met. No matter. It would be his funeral..

Oh what a strange night this was turning out to be.
A dark chuckle surged from Guillotine’s maw as he padded up to the couple. Funny, they weren’t the least bit scared of him. Well, this wasn’t too surprising. The male was not expecting Griffyn to run and hide, but what about her male companion? What would he do? Oh Guillotine hoped he would get on his knees and beg for mercy. Just the thought of getting these two to surrender brought a large sharp toothed smile to the large beast’s maw. Guillotine straitened his posture as he stood before his new targets. He didn’t want to come across as a lousy scavenger, no, he was a hunter! Oh he couldn’t wait to dig his fangs into these two. Griffyn would be his first target of course, she was the closest. This was going to be fun! With a loud snort, Gil continued to move forward, until something stopped him in his tracks. Griffyn’s male friend moved in front of her, blocking Gil’s way to his first target. Guillotine took a step back and held his head high. So, this boy wanted to play hero, eh?
Soon enough the male spoke, he asked Gil what he was. Yet another toothy grin creased Gil’s maw. “What am I?” Guillotine sneered with a hardy snicker. He seemed to be mocking the protective male. Guillotine’s tail whipped around with anticipation as he began to speak again. “Foolish mortal, Isn’t it obvious? I am a hellhound.” Guillotine then dipped his head before giving the couple a devilish snarl. Something wasn’t right, why hadn’t Gil smelled it before? The beast watched as the man before him began to change in to a large black feline. So he was wrong, this man wasn’t a mortal like he thought. He hid his scent well. Gil had to give him that. Once the male transformed he spoke again. He stated that he didn’t care what Gil was, and that he wasn’t about to get any closer to Griffyn. Guillotine cocked his head to the side before giving the male a dark chuckle. “Wanna’ bet?” Gil inched closer before Griffyn decided to put her two cents in. She replied to Guillotine’s previous comment. Her words angered Guillotine. The little female obviously didn’t understand Gil’s madness. The beast’s ears pinned back aghast his skull as he began to speak. Rage began to take over. “You bitch!” Guillotine prepared to lunge when yet another being interrupted him.
There was a man was falling from the sky! It was a strange sight to behold. Despite Guillotine’s better judgment his head snapped around and watched the spectacle. Perhaps he wouldn’t have to deal with the couple after all. Gil licked his lips with satisfaction. He could always swim out into the lake and catch the man off guard. There was no way a being like him could defend himself in the middle of a lake right? It sounded like a plan, Gil prepared to make a dash for the water, but the large cat beat him to the punch. Guillotine watched as the male jumped into the water in an attempt to save the falling man.
Guillotine snorted, well there goes his plan. Well, with the cat gone he could always feast on his girlfriend right? Before Guillotine could turn to look at her, she struck. The blows were fast, perhaps too fast. Gil wasn’t prepared for it. The beast released loud ‘yipe’ as he was kicked. Guillotine shook it off before his blazing blood red eye glared at Griffyn. Anger began to fill him again, he could feel the heat rising. “-Fatal mistake.” He growled as he rushed forward. The beast didn’t seem to think of the consequences of running blindly towards his foe.
