Akhtar looked to John thinking over what he asked. He wasn't really comfortable unless he was driving himself or his driver was driving him. Perhaps it was in his upbringing. He was always leery when it came to him being driven. He didn't want to be kidnapped. He was after all a prince. Sure they were PIDA Agents but one could never be too secure. He figured his own driver would be the best remedy. John could just navigate them to the location. He spoke up saying, " I think the best solution is that we meet here and you navigate us to the headquarters. I have a bit of a phobia of being stranded places or rather being taken against my will. I am not accusing either of you so please understand...it is just personal preference. I am a bit of a worry wart. I can't risk being in a situation where I would have to wait on anyone else. You do understand right?" Akhtar looked at the two agents expectantly. He was sure one would have an objection. If neither did that would be great for him. ((Sorry it is so short...my muse is meh today ))

A moment of silence passed as John thought over Akhtar’s proposal. Jesse watched his partner and the prince with quiet interest. What Akhtar had suggested was a bit of an awkward proposal. The agents were already taking a bit of a risk leading the Egyptian prince to their headquarters to help interrogate Guillotine. Bringing in outsiders to the agency was not looked upon lightly, the PIDA worked in secrecy, so casually bringing in some average citizen was generally frowned upon. The only exceptions were in cases that they were potential recruits or were involved in a case enough so that they needed to be brought in. Besides being the former employer to the savage beast and a friend, Akhtar had as much involvement in the case as Jesse had brains (jokes jokes XD), and neither he or John had the desire to make Akhtar join their ranks, and Jesse had serious doubts that Akhtar was remotely interested in their line of work enough to want to contribute.
But Akhtar wasn’t some ordinary citizen. Technically speaking the man was a foreign political figure who had good knowledge on the supernatural world. There was a chance that they could use that to excuse his presence if they ran into trouble for taking him in. But the driver was another story. One person knowing where the PIDA base was located was one thing, two was another. It was obvious to Jesse that his friend was thinking that same thing too since he didn’t agree to it right away. At least John didn’t shut the idea down right off the bat, but that didn’t mean that he wouldn’t. If Jesse knew the brit as well as he thought he did, he knew that he was going to say no in the end. The big question was if Jesse would agree with him on this.
“While I understand your reasons, and in no way feel offended by your suggestion I am afraid I am going to have to decline.” John answered finally. Jesse couldn’t help but chuckle, good old John was nothing if not predictable. If John had heard him chuckle the man had chosen to ignore it to continue talking. “The place that we will be going to is not an ordinary place. It is risky enough for us to bring you there even if it’s strictly business. Though your driver will be working for you he will still be a risk that we will have to try to cover for along with you, it will be too inconvenient. You will have to trust me that nothing will happen to you. Our agency can’t cause you any harm without bringing trouble on themselves, since you have diplomatic immunity. If in the unlikely event that they do try anything that makes you feel uncomfortable I will protect you.”
“Hold on a second John.” Jesse spoke up once more. “We don’t really have to shut down that idea right away.” Jesse had been thinking over the situation while John had been explaining why he didn’t want to go forward with it. John had a good point, he had been thinking along the same lines as Jesse was. Jesse turned to back to Akhtar. “The biggest problem with your driver is that he is an unknown. While we at least know who you are so we can try to cover for you being there on that day, it’s harder for us to cover for him. But if we can at least trust your man to keep this meeting a secret I don’t see why we can’t let him drive you. Right buddy?” the man looked back at John, again John didn’t speak up at first but soon enough he finally nodded.
“Yeah, that’s fine to me.” John turned his attention back to Akhtar. “How trustworthy is your driver?”

While Akhtar understood their worries he felt they were unwarranted. Khan had been working for him for no one knows how long. Akhtar looked at the pair for a moment. His eyes squinted as he listened to them question his drivers loyalty. It was a natural reaction for him. They were questioning if he would tell of their secret meeting. He had no interest in it so why would he care? He was there to protect Akhtar. While he was his "driver" Khan was actually a Royal Guardsman. His job was to protect the royal family. He was a high ranking official within the guard. He and Akhtar were very close as well. He was like an older brother to the prince. Well a much older brother, Khan was after all 150 years old. He didn't look any older than Akhtar though. He looked to be about 25-30 years old. He was entrusted with Akhtar's life so that answered all of their questions.
Akhtar cleared his throat and said, "Well to answer your question he is the most trustworthy person I know. He is after all a Royal Guardsman. We have to take certain measures here to make sure that our covers are not blown. I can assure you he will not reveal any secrets of this meeting. He has no reason to. He actually would advise me not to go if he felt it was too dangerous or risky.I trust him with my life and everything. He is as loyal as I am. He will not reveal the headquarters I can assure you. We probably will not even talk about it."
The Egyptian prince looked at them for a moment and smirked and said, "You know there is always an alternative...one of you could pose as my driver and drive me there. That's if you all don't trust Khan enough..."

It was obvious by the look on Akhtar's face that the egyptian prince didn't like questioning his drivers loyalty. Jesse felt a little bad about doing it honestly, but he and his partner had little choice in the matter. Well, more so his partner than Jesse himself. Call him crazy but to him Akhtar seemed like a trustworthy guy. If Jesse could trust him than to some extent he could also trust the people working for him as well. It was just this gut feeling that he had about the guy that made him feel that way, and so far his gut had not steered him wrong. It was that gut feeling that made him consider inviting Akhtar to come along to the interrogation with them. He had little problems following that feeling to see if he was right.
John on the other hand didn't follow his gut like he did. John was a practical man, his trust was gained by actions. Every move he made when he was in his serious mode was all thought out, and he reacted in the best possible way he could to whatever came to that. It wouldn't be enough for Akhtar to say that his driver was trustworthy, he needed to know why he thought he was, and make up his own mind after hearing what he needed to know. Truth be told, Jesse would've still asked just to be on the safe side. But his mind was already made up.
Both men listened to Akhtar's response before glancing back at each other. A royal guardsman was a good reason for them to have another guy tagging along. It would be just as easy to justify the 'drivers' presence if they could already cover up for Akhtar. "Well, since we don't have any plans on sneaking him into base to execute the guy I am fine with the extra guy, what about you?" TB nodded and then turned back to Akhtar.
"Ifyour man is a personal guard that makes that suggestion better. I would've offered to pose as your driver for you if I didn't feel comfortable with it. But you have made a good case, and I have had worse suggestions thrown at me before so this is nothing really."

Akhtar clasped his hands together. He stood and said, "Great....Now that all of this is taken we can all go along with out lives. " Akhtar owning two very successful stores was constantly on the go. He couldn't seem to catch much of a break unless he was on an official work free vacation and that wasn't in store for him for a while. He looked at his computer screen as a reminded popped up causing the screen to "wake up." He read the reminder quickly barely tearing his attention away from the men. He frowned slightly and sat back down. He logged into the computer and ran his fingers across the keyboard quickly setting up whatever program it was that he needed and returned his attention to the agents.
He smiled and said, "Gentlemen...as much as I would like to continue this conversation I unfortunately have to get ready for a conference call with some distributors of mine in New York. This is very important and after that I have to prepare for a gala this evening. I hate to rush you out but if you all don't mind leaving so I can get this done and over with as quickly as possible. I'm sure you both understand? We will be in touch soon I am sure." He bowed slightly to each of them and sat back at his desk and looked to the screen to try and finish his work quickly.
