Good little girl Always picking a fight with me The night was young with the moon full in the sky. It had gotten cooler outside as the season shifted. There was no doubt snow in the northern states but so far down south, it didn't snow. Inside of the Wandering Mule, Chayton sat at the bar with a drink in hand. Her denim clad legs were crossed, a tight long-sleeved shirt keeping her arms warm. The night was quiet, not many people were out and about, which didn't bother the fallen angel. She much preferred quiet places that she could be at peace at than those loud night clubs with drunken humans staggering about. In this small little bar there were only a few other people besides herself and the bartender with music quietly playing in the background. It was a nice contrast to the hectic day she had.
A sigh escaped her delicate lips. Sure, while she liked the quiet she was still bored. It had been such a long time after she had seen Isabella on their first date and the angel was getting quite lonely without her or Roselle around to keep her company. Sure, she would have gone out to find some playmate but that took effort that she wasn't willing to put forth. It would only be a matter of time before one of the girls game back, though...the more she thought about it the more she wanted a man. "Damn. I should just go home and drink myself stupid." Chayton sighed again and took another sip of her drink, hoping some excitement might pop up somewhere. You know that I'm bad But you're spending the night with me.

No matter what city you were in there were always establishments dedicated to selling a beverage that turned their clientele into gibbering morons and gave them excruciating headaches the next day. Lyssa probably would have been surprised to find an English style pub in a city that historically had French origins if she knew anything about the history of the city. Having just moved, she'd spent most of her time unpacking hadn't really gotten a chance to explore the city properly. Her apartment wasn't exactly in the best neighborhood, but the Wandering Mule had been fairly close by so she'd decided to stop by and take a look.
Lyssa didn't actually drink, but as she'd discovered in Miami you never knew what you'd find when you walked into a bar. Sometimes all you'd find were regular run of the mill humans, singing bad karaoke and trying to piss in the bed of someone's truck they were so intoxicated. Sometimes you'd find something like vampire trying to make an easily meal out of the inebriated. And sometimes you'd find something completely new.
Dressed only in a black tank top, blue jeans, and plaid blue/black coat she was glad to see the Wandering Mule wasn't one of those places that pretended to look kind of low-brow only to hide a freaking five star restaurant inside. Breathing a sigh of relief, she walked towards the bar taking note of a redhead woman sitting on one of the bar stools. This wasn't just an 'oh hey lookie there' kind of notice it was more along the lines of 'oh hey a being presumably not of this Earth'.
Lyssa didn't like to use the word aura, no matter how applicable it might be. Or chakra or any of those super cliche terms that just sounded ridiculous in her head. But the woman's 'presence' really reminded her of Sezra's. Just thinking about the Dark Angel made her want to clutch at her chest where he'd practically impaled her on her own spear before bursting into flame. But it also seemed...different, lighter in a way. Interesting, she thought with a smile.
"Is this seat taken?" She asked the redhead, motioning to the bar stool on the woman's left with the same friendly smile on her face curious as to how she'd react.

((Sorry for the late reply! Just when I think things are calm I get busy again >.<)) What do you want from my world?
Chayton heard the pub’s door open and usually she would have ignored such a thing if it weren’t for the strange feeling she got in the put of her stomach. She liked to think of it as a sixth sense—knowing who was or who wasn’t a supernatural being—and whoever happened to come in was definitely not a human. Whatever they were she’d never felt an aura quite like this. It was hard to explain what it did feel like except for that it was very much foreign to her. The redhead straightened her posture slightly and let her gaze wander over to watch a young woman walk up to the bar.
”Be my guest.” she replied as a small grin spread over her lips. Perhaps the night wouldn’t turn out to be so bad for Chayton after all. Neither of her personalities objected to getting to know a new face whose presence was something out of the ordinary in the city. The fallen angel ordered herself another drink before addressing the brunette once more. ”I hope you don’t mind me asking, but are you new around here? I don’t think I’ve seen you before.” Sure she didn’t know everyone but she managed to recognize most of the beings who gathered at her usual spots. If someone she had never seen before wandered into one of these places it almost always meant they were new to town or they were here on vacation—though she didn’t know why anyone would vacation there with all the rumors of murders that spread around like wildfire. But hey, you couldn’t exactly control demons with the human police force.
You're a good little girl.

(Sorry for my own late reply, when things go wrong they go wrong all at one ) "Guilty as charged, I just got here a few days ago," Lyssa replied with a small smile. She sat down on the hard, wooden, barstool before ordering a drink herself. It was a martini something or another, Lyssa didn't really know what. She didn't drink herself and only ordered it to keep the bartender and patrons from looking at her really funny. Anyone who studied her would of course figure out she never actually drank her drinks, but most people weren't that attentive and those that were, were often more interested in more than just her drinking habits. She scooted slightly on the stool to better face the redheaded being without violating any personal bubble. "The apartment I'm in right now isn't the greatest though, so I thought I might go out on the town for a bit now that I'm all moved in," She continued. "I'm Lyssa by the way, and you are?"
