Blake sat in her living room and winced as she sat up from laying down. Her shoulder and body still ached from the attack, two weeks ago. Luckily there wasn't any broken bones in her frame. Mostly bruising. But parts of the outside of her body was thrashed, still. The fat lip qas gone - for the most part. But there was still a lot of scabbing. If one were to see her without clothes on, she would have looked even worse. There were still some scabbed bite marks and her shoulder still stitched and bandaged. It was time for her antibiotic cream for her wounds.
A recap - not long after she was admitted into the hospital. Give or take, a few days after, Guil made a point to visit. At least, if anything. Just to see if she was still breathing. She still had just lost the breathing mask for air and woken up from a nap. She was relaxed... Until Guillotine came in. He only managed to say 'hey' before Blake started screaming and was backing away into her bed. Pure fright was across her pale face.
Now, here she was, alone in her apartment. She had called her friend to invite it over and making it up to him. Not by any physical means, but supper of his choice and just anything he wanted to do. Even if it was just to sit and talk. She removed her old bandage and went into her kitchen for a warm, wet towel. She almost seemed half naked, as the straps to her spaghetti strap shirt were off her arms and was pulled down a bit to clean. She began to gently dab her shoulder and flinched to the sting of the nasty wound. A knock rang out from her door, "Come in! It's open!"

A feeling of guilt wormed its way into Guillotine’s skull, bringing with it a hint of self-loathing. The tall pale man stood outside his apartment door. His back was leaned against the cool brick, and his right hand clutched a cigarette between his index and middle finger. His other hand held a small stuffed panda. The little bear had a small red bow around its neck, and etched on its paw were the words ‘Get well soon’. It was one of those little trinkets Gil managed to pick up from the small store he found in the hospital. It was strange to be carrying such a thing around. But one of the receptionist recommended that he get something for the person he was visiting. At the time Guillotine thought it was a good idea. It was a shame that he never had the chance to give it to Blake. The beast released a sigh before taking a quick drag from his cancer stick. Blake invited him to come over, but the young hellhound was tempted not to go at all. It was his fault that Blake ended up at the hospital in the first place. Oh god, he could remember the fear in her eyes when he came to visit her. The woman was absolutely terrified of him when he stepped into the room. Gil was a bit taken aback by it all. Things got so bad that the doctor had to force the male to leave. Guillotine exhaled, allowing the toxic smog from the cigarette to linger out of his mouth. He was surprised that Blake wanted to contact him at all after that incident. Apart of him was happy that she did. Suppose he could pay her a quick visit, you know, just to get rid of this damn bear. With a low sigh Gil tossed his cigarette to the side and made his way up stairs. After knocking on the door, he waited. What if she wasn’t home? He could always just leave the bear at her door and leave. Before he could do this, a voice from the other side of the door told him it was open. Great. Gil’s pale hands clutched the door knob. He slowly turned it and pushed the door open. “Um..Blake.” He called as he walked into the home, shutting the door behind him. His single forest green eye looked around the room. Blake was no were to be seen. “Blake where are you?” Gil called as he strolled forward. Guillotine walked by the kitchen as he did so something caused him to stop in mid-step. A light shade of pink plastered itself onto his cheeks as he eyed Blake's lovely frame. Both of his pale hands grabbed onto the teddy bear before giving it a squeeze. The straps on the woman's shirt was pulled down, exposing a bit of flesh. Gil continued to fidget with the little bear, even as he spoke. “Hi Blake..” Gil cooed, there was a hint of anxiousness in his tone. He didn't know how she was going to react to his presence. Surprisingly enough, he didn’t take a single step into the kitchen. Guillotine decided to keep his distance from her.
(( I should have made him accidentally rip the bear’s head off...just for lulz))

Blake was trying to apply her ointment to her wounds. She let out a small whimper and began to shake. It burned, but it was the bacteria fighting agents that were doing their work. Which was what was making it hurt even more. But whatever, right? As long as she was getting better, right? She wouldn't take a narcotic until she was ready to sleep. Some nights, she only took Ann over the counter pain killer, so she wouldn't become dependent on them. But back to this moment. Despite the fact that she was in pain, Guillotines voice managed to calm and relax her. She was happy he was there; her head turning, angling herself to look over her shoulder.
"Hi.." she said softly and flinched some as she turned her head forward again.
"Help, please..?"
She had the tube over her shoulder in her elegant hand. Eyes narrowed to the floor. She knew she would have to direct him. He had to once for El. Her dad and Aunts were instructed when they were at the hospital with her.
"I can't reach passed my shoulder bone.. Not without it hurting..." she said softly, "Will you just dab some over the stitches on the blade and maybe my spine - if it got that far... I can't see..." she said softly as she readied a few clean larger bandages. She felt bad that she was exposed like this, to him. Especially because of her-now boyfriend. But El knew she needed extra hands for this task. Her shoulders shrugged.
"Sorry for the exposure... I did miss you.."

Guillotine bit his bottom lip. The beast absentmindedly hurt himself as his sharp fangs dug into his lip, causing it to bleed a bit. He didn’t notice of course, his mind was too busy concentrating on another matter. The young male seemed to have forgotten that it was impolite to stare. He couldn’t help it. Just seeing Blake’s lovely frame sparked something inside the brute, something dangerous. It would be a lie to say that Guillotine wasn’t attracted to this fine young lady. Scars or not, he still thought her feminine frame was to die for. Gil’s pale fingers continued to grip the poor little panda bear. His vice like grip was strong enough to tear the little plush apart, and yet he didn’t. This brute had every opportunity to rape Blake again. His single forest green eye trailed over her exposed flesh. Well, He could if he really wanted too. Gil took a bold step forward but stooped and shook his head violently. He needed to get himself together. Taking advantage of this poor girl will get him into more trouble. Guillotine was already on her shit list on top of that.
Oh, why were his instincts so cruel to him? Guillotine sat the stuffed bear on the counter as Blake looked back at him. She asked the male for his help. Gil nodded. “S-sure” He cooed as he trotted over the lovely woman. Gil gently took the medicine from Blake’s hand and listened to her instructions. Now that he was up close to her frame he could really see the damage that he caused. Guillotine grimaced as he began to apply the ointment to Blake’s stitched wounds. The woman then shrugged before she apologies about the exposed flesh, and admitted that she really did miss him. A light, sharp toothed grimace took over Guillotine’s handsome face. “It’s alright Blake. You shouldn’t be the one apologizing…” He replied as he dabbed a little of the ointment to a specific spot under her shoulder blade. “ I missed you too. I didn’t mean to scare you back at the hospital.”

The petite female closed her eyes, in response to his touching her – more or less the fact that she could feel how gentle he was being with her. For she was not used to that. Course, deep down, Blake knew that Guillotine had a gentle side to him. He just never showed it, unless it was behind closed doors. Even then, he was still the father of lies and the prince of all brats. The pain in her shoulder was beginning to subside at this given point in time. Thank goodness too; she wasn’t about to pop another narcotic. As he spoke, Blake managed to tune in and listen. Which was near difficult, since she was still under this relaxed trance. It warmed her heart to hear that the man missed her. Her pale cheeks managed to gently change to a light pink to his words. Her head then lowered and a smile painted itself across her rose pink lips.
“I’m glad you did…”
A light sigh escaped her lips, she had been thinking of the fact that she was lucky he even showed up. She could only imagine just how he felt. She was sure he felt terrible. Not to mention the fact that she startled him with the screaming she did in the hospital – only adding more to his guilt. Knowing her friend, he probably beat himself up a lot over this. Probably with others as well. This might not have been much of a foreign thing to him. Which only made her feel worse about the situation, since he truly in many ways was an animal. How do you punish an animal with a humanoid form, though? She certainly couldn’t swat him with a newspaper and expect him to be good the next time. Unlike any basic creature, Guillotine could understand emotions and interpret what feeling was what, as well as deciphering right from wrong. But also, blood lust was in his nature. Then the animal takes over and right and wrong mean nothing. Taking any animosity she held for him and casting it aside, she tried to mentally put herself in the man’s shoes. She could only imagine how this was for him. Seeing the damage that was done after the fact must have torn him up in some fashion. But rather than doing what she does oh-so well. Guillotine decided to show up and at least see how she was. Which only made her heart warm a bit, knowing that on some level he cared about her.
“Don’t be sorry… It was a simple reaction to trauma…” She said gently, “I’m over it now…”
Other things clouded her mind, such as telling him her news. How would he take it? There were several possibilities at this point. How could he handle the fact that she does now, in fact have a boyfriend? This could only have a few results in the end, none of which ended well. He could be cruel, or she could really hurt him. On some level, this news might end their friendship. Rather than further punishing him for what had happened to her, she decided to wait on telling him this. Easing it into conversation and handling it delicately. Rather than springing it on him and just making things worse. She licked her lips for a moment and then began to speak, “For curiosity’s sake, how have you been… I mean, are you alright…? With what happened and all?”
Truthfully, she wanted to make sure he was alright. Again, surly he beat himself up over this. Plus, she wanted to make sure he hadn’t been dwelling on this for too long. Hopefully things were ok in some aspect of his life. Once he was done, she pulled her shirt up her exposed torso and began to cover herself with its fabric. She then turned to him so they could look eye to eye at one another. A smile graced her damaged features. She was about to speak until her green hues managed to fall upon the small plush toy that sat on her table. She blushed a bit and took a step or two towards it, “I-is that for me?” Truth be told, she was a bit taken back by the effort of a gift. Her elegant hands picked up the bear and studied it before chuckling lightly and stood on her tiptoes, giving the hound a gentle peck on the cheek, “It’s adorable… Thank you.”

Ah yes, these scars looked all too familiar. He had been the one who caused them after all. Guillotine could remember tearing into this girl, and feeling nothing. This little fight had caused so much turmoil inside the young beast. No one would have to know what happened after that little incident. No one saw the tears that were shed behind closed doors, and Guillotine was thankful for that. A hound shouldn’t be acting so humble to a human, and yet here he was. The beat’s pity would eventually be the end of him. Blake was right; he did beat himself up over the mater. Though it was against his nature to cause self-harm, he did it anyway. It wasn’t out pity but self-loathing. Day after day Gil began to creep ever so closer to that outcome. Granted, he could slit his wrist as many times as he wanted, but the pain of it all wouldn’t go away. The wounds would heal, but his guilt wound not. What about death? Was that a possible solution? Too bad the hellhound was too chicken shit to go through with suicide. Guillotine wasn’t afraid of much, but dying was a constant fear in his mind. Was it even possible for him to die? With all the things he had gone through, being cut up, disemboweled, shot, and was immortality a real possibility? Time after time Gil wondered this, but he was always too scared to put his theory to the test.
This was the downfall of having a human psyche. If Gil had a chance, he would do away with it all together. These emotions caused him too much pain, too much strife. He wanted to ride himself of them. Happiness, guilt, sorrow…all of them. The beast wished he could go back to the way he used to be. Go back to being an animal, nothing else.
First Rose, then Akeelah, and now Blake. Would he stop at nothing to kill the ones he loved? Guillotine cursed the being who created him. Wait...what if this had something to do with his creator? Was this his ‘real’ master’s plan? Guillotine thought about this as he continued to apply some ointment to Blake’s wounds. He gently moved the ointment over her scars. He tried this best to stay focused as his thoughts continued to ravage his mind. The beast couldn’t remember what his master looked like, nor could he remember what he was sent to earth to do. Obviously he was there for a reason, but what? Well, he was a killing machine. The male was equipped with talon like claws, and razor sharp fangs, all necessary tools to tear someone apart. So he could rule out the possibility that he was sent here to make friends. A sickening feeling crept over Guillotine as his thoughts continued to wonder. Luckily, Blake was there to snap him out of it. Her words seemed to cause Gil to frown.
“Trauma…” Guillotine repeated under his breath. Ah yes, he could remember attacking the girl. It wasn’t like he had forgotten. The beast was well aware of his actions when he attacked her. He could remember that look of fear on her face. Oh, how scared she was! She feared him, she actually feared him. A mixture of anxiousness and sorrow warped into the young hound’s head. Wait, what’s this? A simple smile tore the beast from his thoughts. Blake managed to muster a smile. She was smiling, now of all times? Why didn’t Blake, or the others for that matter hate him? He tried to take their lives, and yet they still forgave him. Somehow, some way, they looked passed what he had done, and continued to treat him like a friend. Guillotine forced himself to look away from the lovely woman as she looked into his eyes. His forest green eye trailed along the floor as he began to speak. “Don’t worry about me. I’m fine.” Gil lied through his fangs. He wasn’t alright, he was fair from being fine. The male was mentally torn since the incident.
Soon, Blake noticed the bear, and asked Gil if it was for her. “Uh, Yeah. I was going to give it to you back at the hospital, but I didn’t get a chance too. “Man, he was being a bit too dull, unnaturally so. Suppose he should loosen up some just so he wouldn’t cause this woman any alarm. The last thing he wanted was for her to continue to ask questions. She didn’t need to see the track marks that were being hidden by his sleeves; she didn’t have to know what was going on with him. Gil forced a smile onto his face as he turned to look at Blake. He let out a light chuckle as he continued. “I’ve been holding onto it for you, sorry if it smells like smoke.” He cooed in a joking tone. His pale hand scratched the back of his head as Blake began to examine it. Would she like it? There were so many choices back at the gift shop. Dogs, cats, rabbits ect. Gil wasn’t too sure what she would like.
Unfortunately, Gil didn’t know this woman as well as he knew Rose, or Akeelah. So choosing this little animal was rather difficult. He couldn’t recall asking what her favorite animal was. So he just got whatever looked the ‘cutest’ from a woman’s stand point. He wouldn’t admit it, but he had to ask an option of the female human working there. But, truth be told, he didn’t think any of the little toys looked ‘cute’. What was cute anyway?
After Blake gave the little bear a look over she turned to Guillotine, rose on her tiptoes and gave him a gently kiss on the cheek. A light blush took over Gil’s face again, man he wasn’t expecting that. The action took the beast off guard. Well at least he got an answer he was looking for. Great, she loved it! A large sharp toothed smile appeared onto Gil’s face. His pale hands slipped down, and grasped Blake’s waist as he began to speak. He pulled the woman in close and chuckled. “I’m happy you like it. It was rather difficult trying to find something that matched your……cuteness.” It seemed to pain him to say that word. Cute, did he really say cute? Blake wasn't cute, she was hot! Oh god, a part of him wished he could take the word back, but he was doing well so far, why fucking it up now?

On the inside, Blake felt her stomach flip with how the man was acting. Not to mention, she still had her feelings for him that lingered, but dammit! She couldn't help but enjoy how he was acting! She only wished it was sooner... She held the Panda to her and buried her pale face into the small toy. Yes, it wreaked of cigarettes, but it was a comfort thing. She was trying to settle her nerves on this subject. She wanted to handle her relationship news carefully with Guillotine. She truly did care about him - and a part of her knew this might hurt. He'd handle it in his own way, but this subject may be hard to avoid a fight. She only trembled slightly. This was all so overwhelming to her. How do you not hurt some one with the truth? How do you tell this person you care, but can't respond when they may ask, 'Why not me?' Not that Guil would. But it was something that could happen. Blake now understood when people said love complicated evetything. Wait!
Love?
Blake didn't love Guil, or did she? She knew her heart pounded sometimes when he was around. He always came to her rescue in some way - or even managed to suck up his pride and would come to her beck and call - if it meant all she wanted was his company. But Guil had his reasons to not claim her - as did she, for him. That reason was Akeelah. She could tell he still loved her. Blake wanted someone, who wanted her and only her. That goes without saying - El, most certainly was not her second choice. She learned the hard way of who won her heart. It was a long trip, but everything was always about El, in some way. But that was the same for Guillotine as well. He was a factor that remained constant. Not to mention, there were the bold reasons that held Blake and her friend apart. His heart wasn't hers; and hers was not his.
She removed the bear from her face and smiled at her friend, "I really do love this gift.. It's sweet.." she chuckled and thought a moment, "Anything special that you want for dinner?" she set the bear back down and trotted further into the kitchen, setting herself on the counter and smiling as she childishly kicked her legs.

Perhaps another kiss was too much to ask. Guillotine didn’t know why, but that little peck on the cheek made him feel good, maybe a bit too good. His sorrow still lingered in that head of his. However, being around this happy woman was lifting his spirits. Apart of him wanted to embrace the Blake, but feared that he would harm her if he did. Gil had a knack for hugging people a bit too hard. He’d done so with Akeelah on several occasions. And each time he would have to say sorry. Well, he didn’t have the luxury this time. Blake was already wounded, and if he decided to get intimate he would only further her injuries.
Blake deserved something though, right? She at least deserved his full attention, perhaps a bit more than just that. Gil thought about this as he watched Blake burry her face into the little stuffed animal. A sincere smile graced his lips. He was truly happy the woman liked the gift. The male began to wonder if the smell of smoke would get to her. Surly, Akeelah and Rose couldn’t stand the smell. Hell, he could remember the scolding Akeelah gave him when she found out he did smoke. Guillotine’s smile only grew as memories of his mate flooded into his head. He really did miss Akeelah. Who knows where the woman was now, perhaps she was out with Raffe or something.
Blake then sat the bear down and asked if he wanted anything for dinner. “I’m not hungry.” Guillotine stated as he trotted over to Blake. He watched her, amused by her childish action. “I Kinda’ ate a human or two an hour or so ago...” He cooed with a light smirk as he watched Blake trot into the kitchen. Gil followed.
The beast then maneuvered his way between her legs and stood in front of her. Finally, the two were face to face. Funny, he didn’t realize just how tall he was until now. The male sighed and leaned forward, his face was only inches apart from Blake’s. He then rested his forehead against hers. “I may not be hungry, but I don’t mind helping you fix something, Love.” Guillotine seemed to hesitate for a moment. He closed his eye, just enjoying the lovely woman’s warmth. The male didn’t want this feeling to end, if the woman moved, the warmth would go away. Gil’s thoughts were beginning to sink into dangerous territory. His selfishness was bubbling up to the surface. This beast had a way of getting what he wanted, and he would make sure she would never leave him. Besides he owed her something after all that’s happened, why not this? Guillotine could recall the incident he and Blake had that night at the club. In the car she tried to hold his hand, and yet he shyed away. Gil owed her something after that, right? Guillotine leaned in, his pale hands gently griped Blake’s waist. The male then smirked as his lips met hers. He was a free man, but who’s to say this woman wasn’t already taken? The thought hadn’t entered Gil mind as he continued to kiss Blake. This little smooch meant little to nothing to the young hellhound. He really didn’t understand why humans kissed like this. Was it out of happiness, pity? Suppose he’d never know.

This was all happening too quickly for her. Not to mention, sirens in her head began to go off, on too of that... She wanted to kiss him back. But she couldn't.... She didn't. She was in such a state of shock that she didn't notice the tear that rolled from her eyes as she watched what she had wanted unfold before her eyes, and she couldn't respond the way she would have a few weeks ago. She wouldn't respond. A hand gently reached up and pressed against his shoulder to gently pull his lips from hers. Her eyes searched his face to gather her thoughts. But all she managed to say was, "What... Are you doing?" Guil's lips... They were everything she thought they were.. He wasn't much of a bad kisser. Unfortunately... He wouldn't know about her kissing...
"Guillotine, she had never said his whole name before, until now, "Have a seat... There's something I want to talk to you about."
She closed her eyes and squeezed out a few more tears. Obviously frustrated at the situation. Why now, was he willing to give himself to her? Or so it seemed. Could she be wrong? Guillotine never kissed her before - ever! That was a bigger move. He was also... Not himself. Like, he was trying to be that sappy that girls wanted in the romantic movies. Well, this version if 10 Things I Hate About You, didn't have the happy ending Julia Styles and Heath Ledger had... This ending meant the guy didn't get the girl, and the girl had someone else. She rubbed between her eyes and sighed slightly.
"I dunno.. How I feel... I know... You know... I like you..." She then looked up at the cieling, "I even question if it's more than that.."
She inhaled and closed her eyes, tears falling from her eyes, sliding down her pale cheeks, "We can't do this... You and I..."

Perhaps it was just his selfish nature taking control of him, or maybe this was the real reason why he was did what he did. A feeling of warmth engulfed the young beast as he continued to lock lips with Blake. Gil could remember this feeling, this warmth. It was the same feeling he got when he first told Akeelah that he loved her, that pleasant warming sensation that seemed to take over his tall frame. Maybe he just longed to feel this again, or pity could be driving him to do this for Blake. As much as he wished for this feeling to last, it quickly ended. Guillotine seemed a bit taken back by this. The beast’s single forest green eye widened in shock as Blake’s hand gently pushed against his shoulder. He was forced back; all the while he could see Blake staring him down like a hawk. Did Blake not like it? Was she angry? Gil soon got his answer. What was he doing? “I-I just wanted to make you happy, Blake. This is what you wanted right?-To be happy?” Could he be wrong? Could Blake not like him as much as she used too? Then again, could he really blame her? Gil did attack her. A frown took over Guillotine’s features as Blake called him by his full name. She’d never done that before. Gil backed away from Blake. Man, he really fucked up now. The woman then told him to have a seat. He hung his head like a child who had gotten scolded by his mother. Guillotine sighed as he sat down at the kitchen table. So what now? The male watched Blake; he hadn’t taken his eyes off the woman since he sat down. She seemed so frustrated. He could see it in her face. Maybe kissing her was a bad move in his end. Gil began to regret it. Could one kiss really reduce a human to tears? Well, humans were strange creatures. Guillotine knew he would never truly understand them. Well, at least Blake could still speak. As the woman talked Gil could pick up traces of anxiousness in her voice. What was wrong? Gil wished to get up and wipe those tears from her eyes but he forced himself to stay sitting. He had to calm down. After taking a few breaths Gil replied, with a cool calm tone. “Why is that, Blake?” He was taking all this the wrong way. Gil attempted ot remained as calm as possible, if he began to freak surly Blake would do the same. Still, one question lingered in that head of his. “-But when we were in the car that night you tried to make your move on me. What was that all about? Perhaps I’m reading your human actions the wrong way?”

I n her heart - she knew Guillotine would pull that night out for some sort of understanding. Which only made this even harder. Her green eyes closed. She was now stifling a sob, which was why she sounded a bit over the top - as far as explaining herself, "I did want it, I did want you!" she sobbed out and rubbed her eyes, "I wanted you more than anything, for a while..." she admitted before sobbing a little harder.
"But someone... Else... Was who I wanted more... That night in my car... It was real... But after... I got home from the hospital... Me and El met up and talked..."
This was where things got bad. She inhaled sharply to try and calm down. This was where he would be in charge of how things went. The girl hopped off the counter and folded her arms across her chest. She sniffed a bit before sitting in the chair close to him, "Guil... El and I are together now..."
She closed her eyes and wipped them, now getting a bit hysterical, "I didn't know how to tell you, cause I didn't want you to hate me!"

Guillotine’s single forest green eye widened. So it was true. This woman-this human, had a crush on him this entire time. Was he really blind to this? The male snarled, and gritted his teeth. He should have given in that night, maybe then none of this drama would be happening. A sickening feeling began to take over Guillotine as the name El was mentioned. His brow furrowed.” Please tell me you are joking.” Guillotine’s tone turned a bit harsh, he didn’t mean to sound as angry as he did, but he couldn’t help it. A shock wave of emotions began to surge into his head. “So you chose to be with an angel? How pathetic…” Guillotine continued to watch as trails of tears streamed down the lovely woman’s cheeks. Gil did feel a bit bad for this human, but he didn’t even make an attempt to comfort her. No, he was far too pissed off to do something like that. His face remained cold and unmoving. The beast felt betrayed. An angel huh, why, why would she do something like that? Perhaps the foolish human wished to save her damned soul? It was a possibility.
Not only was she being friendly to an angel, but she was with him as well. Guillotine snarled before he looked away from Blake. Disappointment could be seen on his handsome face. The beast was beyond pissed off. She knew how he and Khaine felt about angels. She knew they loathed them. And yet Blake was willing to take the side of angels, despite being friends with demons. That was a big slap in the face to the hellhound. It was hard enough trying to comprehend the fact that she and El were friends, but now their relationship seemed to have grown more intimate. It was hard losing a friend to another male, but this situation was getting increasingly difficult thanks to the circumstances.
Gil was losing her to an angel.
So, what happened to all that sorrow and angst Gil felt before? The male’s anger seemed to have melted those emotions, and left nothing to falter but his raw rage. Guillotine’s tall frame began to tremble with unspoken anger, he could feel his body temperature rise with each passing second. Finally, Blake spoke about hate. Her words caused Gil to look at her. His single forest green eye had shifted back to that deadly blood red color. “Hate?” He repeated as he slowly stood up from his seat, by this time Blake was sitting in the chair next to him. The tall male turned to her, his single crimson orb glared down at her. He them maneuvered his body so that he was standing in front of her. “I don’t hate you…I hate your fucking boyfriend.” Perhaps he was wrong; maybe the angel put her up to this? Holy beings were always such pretentious bastards. They flaunted their goodness around like a weapon. Guillotine clutched his fists at his side as he continued. “- But If you continue on this path Blake, then you will become my enemy. Do I make myself clear?” The male then decided it was time for him to leave. If he stayed any longer he was sure his anger would cause him to harm Blake. Guillotine turned from Blake and began to walk towards the door.

Blake sat and listened to his rant, frozen by shock? The question of why was no longer relevant. Her green eyes stared zoned out, but her ears still tuned into his words. For some reason, this time around, fear wasn't present. She had seen him angry... She was terrified of him... Twice... But, she had seen his nature - his true nature... He didn't want to break her, he was angry at her choice... Even a hint of selfish. When he walked to the door, she rose to her feet.
Guillotine could not move...
Her slender arms grasped his torso and held him close to her. Her head pressed into his back. It was different from his normal hugs to him from her. Her head pressed into his back. Her slender fingers gripped his shirt as tears still fell from her eyes.
"Don't go...."

He could feel his body suddenly lock up as he reached for the door knob. Something was keeping him from leaving. It didn’t take long for him to find out what it was. A warming sensations over took his tall frame as Blake wrapped her arms around him. What was she doing? Didn’t she know he was pissed? Wasn’t she afraid he would hurt her?
Her touch was pumping emotions into his head. This had to stop before he overflowed. The male couldn’t take it. “D-Don’t touch me!” Guillotine snarled as he attempted to turn around. His pale hand gripped onto Blake’s shoulder and attempted to pry the girl off him. "Blake...S-stop." He released a low growl, as both sorrow and anger began to flood into his head. Once he got a good grip on Blake he pushed the woman back. Perhaps now was the best time to do this, to instill fear into this young girl. Guillotine didn’t want to face his emotions. No, instead he decided to act like a coward.
It would be a lie to say that human emotion didn’t scare Guillotine. They did for the most part. It made him feel things that he didn’t want to feel. The tall male backed up until his back was pressed against the front door. What happened next seemed to shock Gil. Emotions were running ragged in that head of his it was only a matter of time before this happened. The male could feel his eyes began to whelp up with tears, no he wasn't going to cry! She wasn't going to see him cry either, no one would.
Blake was at a far distance away from him as he allowed his inner beast to take over. A pillar of flames rose up from the carpet. The inferno only lasted a second; soon enough it dispersed leave a large beast in Guillotine’s place. There were sedge marks on the ceiling, the carpet and even the door. Perhaps he should have thought about transforming before he actually did it.
The large canine’s ears pulled back against his skull. He even bared his fangs. “Don't try to stop me Blake…” The male snarled. This man was merely using his fearsome image to his advantage. He wasn’t pissed off enough to actually harm the woman; he just wanted to get away.

What happened next, surprised even her. What was she doing? Her arms held out, parallel to her shoulders as her arms stretched out. She was not scared. Not even of the beast before her, "Then.. You're gonna have to kill me.." she replied. Her chest rising and falling with ease, showing signs of seriousness... No fear... This must have been her being just as fed up with her emotions as he was with his own. She obviously wasn't ready to be claimed... Maybe she felt as though she was claimed by the wrong person.
"Call me what you want... But I am just as fed up with this as you... If my own heart won't let me just.. Love one instead of two... I don't want to live..."
She then trembled and clenched her eyes shut and began to cry again, "I can't... Not anymore! I lost my mother... I loved Raffe and El.. Then loved Khaine and El... I lost my baby! Now I love you and my boyfriend! I don't want to have this happen anymore!"
It wasn't that she was wishy washy. She knew all of these men at one point on a close and intimate scale. Wait... Love? She said she loved Guil, and meant it. So, that's what it was... She truly did love Guil... And this... The petite girl.. She hated her heart for carrying a torch for two... She opened her eyes and began to cry a bit harder, but kept calm... For the most part. Locking eyes with him.
"Please.." she begged.
