A soft sigh escaped the young witches lips as she anxiously checked the time. Disappointment made itself known when the time may have not been the expected... Or she was checking how long she actually had been waiting. She sipped her coffee and stood up after gently placing the mug on the top of a table. Her bare feet padded the wooden floors of her apartment as she pased back and foreth, green eyes rested against the floor. What or whom could she be waiting for...? A soft sigh escaped the young witches lips as she anxiously checked the time. Disappointment made itself known when the time may have not been the expected... Or she was checking how long she actually had been waiting. She sipped her coffee and stood up after gently placing the mug on the top of a table. Her bare feet padded the wooden floors of her apartment as she paced back and forth, green eyes rested against the floor. What or whom could she be waiting for...? Not just a day ago, did the young witchling sit at her desk she inherited upon her grandparents' death - writing out a small message for a girl she knew and at the end of their first meeting, she called her friend. But, under sad circumstances they had had a falling out... Because Blake was with the enemy and this girl was not. Blake had no ideas of Khaine's plans for this girl. He only told her she was one of the six. Blake, even consumed by Khaine's power, had no knowledge of the 'six'. Even of their importance. Also, Blake had left Khaine before he could consume her completely in darkness. She admitted to being a fool in love. And she probably was. She knew she changed him in ways that nobody had before, but not enough to change the course of his fate. After she finished her message, she rolled the small paper up and gently tied it to her pet raven's leg, like a messanger pigeon. She tied the letter off with a white thread for protection, gently whispering something in a strange tongue to the bird. If not, the thread. Once she was done, she walked the bird to her window and opened it, "Fly swiftly, my friend..."Now here she was, waiting on her friend, Shimi to show up. So they could talk and try to mend their friendship. It was mere hope that made her not give up on wishing that Shimi would show up, and just... Wanna talk... The message was simple, ' I understand that you don't want to talk to me... But this is important... I'm not with him anymore... I believe we should mend this.. Please... Come to my apartment...' she gave directions to her apartment aswell.[/blockquote]

Inara wasn't pleased at all. That was the short and sweet version. The long wouldn't legal to say on public T.V. She didn't know how Blake’s raven found her nor did she know how much the raven’s master knew about her life. However, she did know that this possibly was be a trap and wasn't going to be all girly girly polite. She kept a tight grip on her sword as she started to knock on Blake's door recalling her very interesting week so far. ==================== ====
When she first came upon the bird she completely flipped her lid in the middle class. Which was an awkward social moment to say the least but, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The winged creature flown in through the class room window and perched itself right on Inara's head. Of course she didn't notice at first being in full on bookworm mode. Everyone else did however, including the professor who broke into cheeky laugh upon it tapping her head to get her attention. This sent the entire class into an uproar and brought a very deep shade of red on Inara's face. Still the embarrassment couldn’t end there upon discovering the note on its leg she was prompted to read it out loud to the class by her 'brilliant' professor. Under the b.s excuse that carrier pigeons are the oldest form of mass media journalism and that it would be a enlightening experience for the whole class, which it was. While Blake's cryptic message sent waves of stress, anger, and worry into Shimi’s mind. The rest of class got another great laugh out of the 'private' sounding note. All of which proved to be too much stress on the poor Aquarus's mind causing her anger to literally boil over and violently burst the water pipes underneath the school. Of course no one else seemed to know that the incident was caused by Shimi, save the Raven and herself. So everyone quickly fled the premises out of fear and class obviously being canceled now gave poor Inara time to think.
--------------- ------------------------------- ----------------------
After pondering it for a couple days she concluded that she would go see Blake. Yes it could be a trap but, it was still a lead and could quite possibly get her closer to Khaine, her sword and vengeance. To be safe she devised her own plan of counter attack just in case. She had Blake's bird and address so one way or another she could find her. So why rush? They still lived in New Orleans it was still a very rainy place. She checked the forecast, prepared a bag, and dressed for a heavy rain. On her own terms she would just walk stark naked during a heavy rain it was the most comfortable thing to wear for her. Society wouldn't really approve of that though so she dressed light jeans, a pea coat, and a tank top. Carrying only what she would need her car keys the bird cage and her sword. She stopped driving a full mile out from Blake’s apartment complex and walked the rest of the way. Just to make sure she would be soaking wet, the bird would be pissed and no one would be following her.
=== ==============
Which now brings us full circle to the door and her knocking. She hesitated a bit and quickly decided fuck knocking. Blake interrupted her day with this damned bird she would do the same to her. She and the bird where dripping wet more than enough water for Inara to slip inside Blake's key hole and force the door open. So like walking through an angry automatic door Inara marched into Blake's apartment slamming the door shut and locking it with the bit of water she used to open it. She stood at the entrance of Blake's apartment giving her the full on evil eye scowl and all. "Here's your damned bird I didn't feed it. Now what the hell do YOU possibly have to say to me to stop me from just taking what info I want from you?"

Hunger hit Blake like a ton of bricks. It could have been boredom from waiting on the other female. It wasn't like she had anything important to do, anyways. She got up to head to the kitchen, when the door flung open. In walked an obviously annoyed Shimi, holding her pet bird in a cage. The bird seemed ok, but was more unhappy about being drenched because of this girls animosity towards Blake. The cage door flung open suddenly, and out flew the bird, perching itself on its masters' shoulder. Absentmindedly, did her pale, slender fingers stroke the bird's chest. The small avian let out a sound of contempt, before she turned her attention back to the other female.
"First of all, I want to apologize. I know I might have screwed up your day. It was not my intent." she inhaled then exhaled sharply, before she spoke again, "I just want to make things right... If you will let me." The petite girl then slowly sat down and swallowed before she spoke, "I had nothing to do with anything that had to do with you, as far as Khaine's plans were for you and the other girls. If anything, he kept me in the dark for the most part..."
It pained her to speak to the opposite female on these terms. Just trying to make anything right at this point was a shot in the dark. But it was one she was willing to take. She began to speak again, "I am also not with him anymore. I got my soul back. So, really... That weapon is unnecessary." she bit her lip, "I also have any information you might need..."

Shimi scoffed at Blakes words.
"I had nothing to do with anything that had to do with you. He kept me in the dark for the most part...""
To her it all sounded like a convenient excuse but, she still couldn't deny that it was very plausible. Blake never directly attack her and the only reason she knew that they were together was because of Khaine. Whose words where fickle like a mirage to her. It did make sense though Blake knew plenty enough about her personal life. It wouldn't have been have for Khaine to come find her in her sleep. So for that much Shimi was thankful for. She let out an annoyed sigh as she crossed her arms and lazily leaned on the wall behind her. She loosened her grip on the sheathed sword letting it drop to the ground and mimic her pose as gravity took hold.
----------------- ------------------------------- --------------
At the time being logic and some small sliver of trust was on Blake's side. So just this once going against her better judgment she dropped her guard completely. If Blake wasn't lying she didn't want to be the rude hard headed ass hole in this situation. Also if this was true it would probably be only a matter of time before Khaine tried to do something about this which would mean Shimi would need to protect her friend. In a gesture good will and faith Inara closed her eyes rapidly recalling all the water she brought in from the rain around her sword. She used it to sort of lock and seal the sword; it was still a Muramasa so even when sheathed it still had a slight malicious pull on her brain. Once done with that she lowered the overall awareness of her power allowing the warm blue of her eyes to dull down the previous vengeful silver color they had. Re-opening her eyes Shimi looked upon Blake with a more humbled expression letting Blake finish the rest of her thoughts.
---------------------- ---------------------------------- -----------------
"Ok that's a start and if it’s all true then your apology is accepted. I don't feel him around and neither does the sword." Shimi looked towards the rain falling heavily on the windows in Blakes apartment. "I doubt that you would be so foolish attack me alone during a rainstorm. So yea I guess right now I believe you." She paused before speaking again as if the invisible third person in the room known as tension had just got up and awkwardly left. "So...I guess how have you been and...stuff"

A sense of relief clouded Blake as the tension lifted in the room. Inara was willing to believe her, which made both girls drop their defenses. Granted, Blake wouldn't have fought her. But when you see someone burst into your house like an angry bat-out-of-Hell with a sword on their hip, how are you supposed to react? Her defenses went up and she explained herself before it could get worse. The witch swallowed a bit with a faint smile a the other female spoke. It was that moment that warmed her and made her chuckle, "I'm crazy enough to do most anything when I feel threatened. So, don't put me pat that..." and that was true. Blake signed her soul away to someone so she wouldn't be killed. Fight, she did. But she was no match. But she found her way out and she took it.
She blinked to the girls question, forcing herself to smile. Her head tipped to the side as she thought of her response. Should she tell her about the baby? If she didn't already know? No! She decided to keep that to herself. Her gen eyes looked up at her friend and a smile meet her face, "Actually.. Things are great.. My own place... Got a boyfriend - who's an angel..." she then bit her lip, trying to keep the smile on her face from getting bigger, "And I am still doing well in the nursing program." she smiled wider before turning the attention back to her, "What about yourself? How have you been?"
