Lilith never heard Drew. She frowned. "Drew...?" Maybe he was still knocked out?
She blinked. Maybe he didn't want to talk to her. Maybe he blamed her for everything. Maybe...she felt tears run down her cheeks. Maybe he hated her finally. Maybe they had done something so horrible to him that he couldn't bare to talk to her for fear she would know. Would he want to see her after this? Was there an after? Would they ever escape? She felt her eyes stinging and put her head against the wall. "Drew..." She whispered, knowing he couldn't hear her. But then she heard something. A rapping. Like someone pounding their fist on the wall. Drew? She wiped her tears, careful to still not move too much as light entered her heart a little bit. He was still ok. "Drew...I hear you, love." That was all she needed.
------a few weeks later-----
----[alice]
It was time. AE2466513 was healed enough to do the experiment. She had tweaked the serum to a more stable thing and had it ready in a cooler that was getting loaded into her car. She waited while her assistants finished getting ready. They couldn't perform this experiment at this location because it was too risky. They had the water but not enough safety precautions if they couldn't control it. She had already loaded up her computer equipment she would need. Axium had a special place not far from here for this kind of experimentation. Like an underground bunker. The lab was designed for extremely dangerous experiments and the room they put the experiments in had top of the line audio and video equipment to document the experiment. It was re-enforced with steel and titanium that was supposedly unbreakable. The room was larger as well to allow the necessary room for the experiment to grow or do whatever. It's door was bolted with steel locks and then steel bars placed on the door to reinforce it more.
They couldn't have it chained because they didn't know what would happen with the growth of limbs, ect. So as they packed AE2466513 up, Alice waited patiently. She walked into the hallway and looked at the illusionist. "Hope you said good bye." With a smile at the horrified look on its face, Alice left to her car, driving to the building. She entered through the top side, the large truck, almost like a bank truck, with the experiment immobilized in it entering from an underground entrance. Once he was completely secure in the room, Alice started setting up her equipment in another room down the hall. The room she set up in had monitors with a few different views of the room where he was. He was still chained up because she had to administer the serum, then he would be unlocked. Once they had the results they needed, Alice would just hit a button and gas infused with a sedative would fill the room and knock it out within a few minutes. Then they could safely go in and transport it back to their lab.
Her heels clicked on the floor as she walked to the room, her syringe ready. This would be injected right into the right side of his neck, allowing quicker access to nerves without paralyzing him. She had planned out the injection point meticulously and slowly she stepped into the room.
All of her work came down to this. If this didn't work, she would have to go back through the entire formula for what she had missed, and that was something that seemed extremely tedious, but she was ready, armed with her team. They would comb over every inch of data. Walking up to it, Alice stared at him. "This will revolutionize all of Axium and the world." She whispered as she pushed his head over, identifying the injection spot and sticking the needle in. Slowly she pushed the serum into his neck and left the room. It would take about two minutes before anything started to happen and a team standing by quickly unchained him before exiting the room, locking down the doors.
Alice was back in the control room and sat, waiting. Soon it would take affect and she was ready to witness it, a change for all of Axium.
------[lilith]
Lilith had a horrified look on her face as Alice walked away. She moved up to the door, more slowly than usually because she still was hurting some in the stomach area even though she had been healing well. She pounded on the door. "DON'T TOUCH HIM!!!" She felt herself becoming slightly hysterical and forced herself to take some deep breaths. Then she heard a sound and a panel opened up above her door. She saw a room. It was empty and she was really confused. Backing up a little, she clenched her fists when she saw a chained up man brought into the room. Not long after that, Alice walked in. Lilith felt her body go slightly lax as she watched Alice study Drew's neck before placing something on it. It was a syringe. What was she watching? She shook her head. "Drew...what are they going to do to you...?"

Drew frowned as he was rolled into a larger room, which was cold against his bare skin. They were underground, as the scent of the air and the chill in the air attested to, as well as the way every sound seemed to reverberate off of the walls. Was this where they were going to let him walk around now? Because those opportunities had been more and more scarce lately, to the point that he was beginning to hurt whenever he tried to move more than a few inches. Looking around as he was, he didn't notice that the doctor had entered the room until he heard her heels clicking against the floor. Because of the angle of the restraints, he couldn't turn to look at her, but he recognized the hateful stench of her perfume.
A sudden sting in his neck told him that she'd injected him with something yet again, and it didn't take long for the substance to begin burning a track through his veins, even before the doors closed and his restraints were released. Whatever she had in mind for today, it couldn't be good. He tested his joints before he risked standing, looking around at the walls as he stretched his sore muscles. The burning was growing, spreading to his chest, and he clapped a hand to the point where it had been injected, half expecting to feel blood there. There was nothing, but his eyes widened at the intensity of the burn, which was searing its way across his chest. Once it reached his heart, the real pain began.
His jaw worked desperately as a raspy gasp that would have been a scream strangled from his throat, and it became a struggle to stay standing. Each heartbeat hurt more than the last, and he clawed at his neck instinctively, as if he could get the pain to stop, but all he managed was to dig bloody furrows in his neck and shoulder. His muscles pulsed, as if he was being electrocuted, and his skin began to itch, and then burn. Fur burst from the skin, black fur that began along his spine and spread to the rest of his body. His bones felt like they were trying to escape through his skin, and he fell to all fours as his muscles pulsed again, feeling as if they were tearing him apart. Why wasn't he bleeding to death? The wolf took over at that point, saving his sanity as it always seemed to, when he was beyond his threshold of pain tolerance.
His joints spasmed, sending him sprawling against the floor. His bones were growing and shrinking in places, and the wolf that controlled his mind pushed him even further down, taking the hit. His throat convulsed as the wolf tried to howl, his growing jaw opening and closing as if he was suffocating. Writhing in the ground, his features slowly became more wolfish, with his claws and fangs extended to their fullest. His claws dug deep furrows in the concrete as he thrashed, even cracking the top layer with a jerk that seemed almost like the precursor to a seizure. It wasn't long before even the wolf couldn't handle the pain anymore, and he lost consciousness.
With the loss of consciousness, the changes reverted themselves, leaving Drew lying unconscious and naked, but fully human again.

Alice studied the camera and suddenly AE2466513 was clawing at his neck. It wasn't long before the transformation started and Alice was furiously typing out ever single second of what was happening before her on the video. This was it. Everything was going to work. She got the computer ready, to test the control of it once it was finished transforming. But then something looked wrong. What? Blinking, Alice watched the concrete split under the animals claws. It was very strong indeed. She could feel the excitement, palpable in the air from the group of people behind her. This was everything they had been working towards.
Until it wasn't. The beast looked like it was about to have a seizure when it fell over, reverting back to human. She blinked. "No!" Slamming her hands on the desk she stood up, leaving the room and rushing down the hall way. If he was dead, she was gonna kill someone. She waited impatiently as the guards unlocked the door and rushed in to the unconscious experiment. She quickly pulled out her stethoscope, checking his vitals. He was still alive. Breathing out a sigh, she motioned for them to come and chain him back up. Once that was done she placed her hands on her hips, looking at the broken concrete. The serum was almost there, a couple more tweaks. She would be up all night going over the formula. She left the room, her mind already calculating out where she went wrong with the formula. Time to go back to the home lab and try again.
------[lilith]
She watched the screen, her eyes widening at every jerk from Drew. The transformation on the monitor ....this is what they wanted to do to him? This was why they had wanted Drew so badly? To turn him into a monster? She watched fur burst from his skin, claws grow. She sunk to the floor, unable to tear her eyes away from the video. Lilith touched her stomach where the stitches had just been taken out. Why wasn't he screaming..there was sound, she heard the floor break. Why...why wasn't there any noise from him though.
And then he was on the ground, and she placed a hand over her mouth. Was he? She saw the doctor lady rush in and calmly stand up after checking his vitals. When the men started chaining him up again Lilith let out a breath of relief. He wasn't dead. But....that was the most horrifying thing she had ever seen. What the hell was this place? Lilith leaned against the back wall. This place was hell...only a thousand times worse.....

It took a few hours for his mind to allow him to return to consciousness, and he woke in a frenzy, his hard mental reset depositing him back to the point where he'd gone down, when he'd been in so much pain and terror. Luckily for the scientists, who weren't as stupid as they sometimes seemed, he'd already been returned back to his cell. Less luckily for Drew, he woke with the wolf in charge, and his already swollen muscles hurt as if he'd been drawn and quartered. The chains clanged against the wall loudly as his whole body tensed in an attempt to attack anything and everything, though he was alone in his cell. He choked on the restraint around his throat for almost five full seconds before his waning air supply forced the wolf to calm down, and he hung from his chains, wheezing.
Jesus H. Cristo, he didn't know what was in that formula, but it had been the most painful thing he'd ever experienced, and given that a large portion of his life had involved surgery without anesthesia, that was saying something. If he knew scientists, and he did, this would not be the last time that they tried something of this sort. They would adjust the formula and try again until either it worked or he died. Was that what his death was going to be like? That pain, over and over, until his heart burst from the strain of it? He tried to convince himself that he wasn't afraid, but that was a lie.
He leaned his head back against the wall and closed his eyes, wishing that his neck was free of the restraint, just for tonight. Trying to scream hadn't registered as painful at the time, but that was likely because it had been overshadowed by much worse pain. Now, though, swallowing was painful, and the heavy bruising across his neck made it hurt even to breathe, but that wasn't what hurt the worst. His chest ached, with every movement shooting a lightning storm of pain across it. Breathing itself felt like work. They were going to kill him with this stuff, whatever it was, if he didn't manage to free himself first.
Strange that the ferocious wolf in his own head frightened him less than these scientists. That hadn't been the case when he'd been a child, new to the wolf DNA, but by the time that he figured out the beast, he had come no closer to understanding the senseless brutality of the scientists. At least the wolf was fairly simple. It wanted to survive, and it wanted to destroy anything that threatened that survival, to make certain that the threat could never return. Humans were the real mystery. They had taken him as a fairly harmless child, and Lilith as a completely harmless woman, and done things beyond imagination to them.
At the thought of Lilith, he glanced up at the grate, knowing she was on the other side. Curling his bloodstained fingers into a fist, he knocked on the wall to let her know that he was alive. That he hadn't forgotten her.

Smoothing her hair back, Alice looked over her notes for the third time. It was around two in the morning and she was getting more and more frustrated. She hadn't slept yet, she hadn't eaten, and she had no coffee. Her assistants were buffoons and she wiped her papers off her desk. Her assistants looked up as she stood up. "I'm going home. Be ready at nine in the morning with what thoughts you have for the formula. I don't care if you have to stay up all night." She then turned and left, feeling the first pang of doubt in her head before brushing it aside. She was brilliant, it shouldn't be this hard. It was probably just a small mistake and they would find it and it would be good.
-----[lilith]
She was leaning against the wall, having heard Drew be brought back in. Was he still unconscious? It felt like forever before she finally heard him bang against the walls. He was alive. He was alive and he couldn't even tell her. He had to bang against the wall. Lilith felt a bit more of that blackness fill her up inside. He couldn't tell her and she was stuck in this idiotic cell, naked, wasting away because the food was disgusting, being constantly the target of harassment because the scientists and guards were pigs. The blackness filled her and she leaned against the wall, getting angrier and angrier. "I'm glad your ok, Drew." Her voice was tight.
He wasn't really ok, she had seen the video. She had seen what he had been through. She pounded her small fists against the wall, rejoicing at the sting on her hands, glad that she wasn't completely numb. Then she heard her door open.
"Dinner, ya filthy animal. God your so hot" It was her least favorite scientist, the one that always 'adjusted' his junk in front of her. He was the animal. Lilith turned slowly. She was done. She felt a snap as the last tie to her life before broke. She saw nothing but red as she stared at the guy, placing an illusion of darkness on him. She made it so he could only see black. He growled, reaching out. "Where are you you crazy Bitch! Stop playing your little tricks!"
Lilith had been afraid to use her powers, afraid of the punishment she would receive. Well if they were going to die anyways. She latched her hand onto the mans junk, him letting out a whimper of pain and grabbing her wrist but it was too late. Her uncared for nails were long and she dug them in and twisted, eliciting a screech. She kept her concentration on her magic as she summoned small balls of flame and let them burn him. It only took a few seconds before guards were in there, pulled her hand free, breaking her wrist in the process. She screamed, loosing concentration, and started thrashing against the guards who held her. Her hand was covered in blood, she had pierced through the thin material of the mans pants right into his crown jewels. He was on the ground, small black circles where her fire had touched him. It was all burnt out now as she screamed, thrashing against the guards.
Her wrist didn't matter, nothing matter as she tried to wiggle free, succeeding because she was so small and dashing for the open door. It didn't take long before she was tackled, a punch coming to the back of her head causing her head to bounce of the cement and blackness to cloud her vision as she passed out.
The guards hauled her up, a healer coming in and doing minimal healing to her wrist, enough to where it only had to be in a brace to keep her from moving it rather than a whole cast and then the guards chained her small unconscious body to the wall and blindfolding her, also gagging her. The scientist she had maimed was dragged from the room to receive medical attention.

Drew was almost asleep by the time that he heard a commotion from Lilith's cell, and he shot awake immediately. What was going on in there? He could hear a guard yelling, so it wasn't Lilith who was in pain, but why would a guard be in pain in Lilith's cell? Had that crazy bitch scientist killed another one of her underlings? A few moments later, he heard Lilith begin shrieking as well, but it wasn't any kind of scream he'd ever heard from her before. She sounded like a wild beast, a mix between panicked and furious. That was when he understood, and he unconsciously tugged against his restraints, wanting to get in there and comfort her, calm her down.
He had seen more than a couple people lose their minds in places like these, and he felt anxiety wrapped around his chest as he listened to the ongoing commotion in Lilith's cell. Had she snapped, like so many of those children he'd seen pushed too far past their breaking point? It was a lot harder to fall apart than it was to put someone back together, to the point that some people were put down, instead of being rehabilitated. He knew that if he was in there, he would have been able to do something to help, to give her some part of reality to hold onto, but they would never let him see her. It had been over a month since he'd last touched her, and that fact seemed to hurt all on its own.
It didn't take much longer for the scuffle to die down again, and he kept an ear out, desperate to find out what had happened. If only he could speak to her, and hear her voice again... The clanking of chains told him that she was being given the same treatment he'd had for the past month, and he slowly lowered his head again. They wouldn't chain her up if she was dead. She was still alive.

--morning--
Lilith blinked. Her eyes were open, her head throbbed. But all she could see was blackness. She couldn't remember last night, she remembered Drew pounding on the wall, telling her she was ok. Then a scientist had walked in with her evening meal....and then....the memories came flooding back. Gone was the happy, bubbly girl and in her place was someone who felt cold and angry. She tested moving her arms, the cold feeling of the chains on her wrists and she soon found out she was immobile. There was a cotton taste in her mouth, a gag. Memories flooded back from the farmhouse and it only worked to harden her heart even more.
------[alice]
Walking into the lab, Alice first checked on the subjects. She had already heard about the night before and shook her head as she stared at the illusionist who was chained up in her cell now. She would have to dispose of her tonight. What a shame. That would be double duty on the beast to get him to cooperate. She tapped her manicured nails on the desk. Well these things do happen. "What did you find with the formula?" Turning to her assistants, Alice looked over their findings. There was some theories she could work with and she soon sat down, working in the different solutions. She found one that was more viable and sent it off with her assistant to start putting it together. It would take all day and then they could move back to the other lab tonight.
---that night---
Alice had four guards move into the beasts cell, she followed them in after they had unchained and rechained Drew's wrists together and were standing around him, giving him a smile. "It seems the animal next door has gone mad." Alice pulled out her syringe, ready to sedate Drew for the transport over. Not completely, but enough so that he couldn't fight back. She took a step closer. "And everyone knows what happens when animals go mad." She nodded at the guard who moved Drew to his knees so she could access his arm better. Stupid tall beasts. Right before she stuck the needle in Drew you could hear muffled shrieking from next door.
-----[lilith]
Lilith felt herself get dragged up, unchained and she struggled. She tried to fight, to scream over the gag. Her mouth was so dry. One of the guards was laughing as they were attempting to drag her out of the room. She couldn't see anything, couldn't move, it was making it near impossible and so she went limp. This surprised them and the guards stumbled a little before she started wiggling. It wasn't long before she was pinned to the floor. "You are going to die, little bitch. Stop struggling and maybe it won't be so painful, ya?" Lilith let out a muffled scream as she struggled against the two guards pinning her, but was getting absolutely no where.

Drew would have groaned as he stood again, every muscle in his body sore and aching, and his chest still not fully recovered from the exertions of the previous serum, but with his muted throat, all he could manage was a huff. He rolled his shoulders as he stood, which visibly tensed the closest guard, but when Drew didn't resist his attempt to kick him to his knees, the guard relaxed again. Fool. Did they never have a meeting in which they discussed basic security measures? He could so easily lie with his body language that no one even suspected that he would be able to act. He'd done it before, and it had worked before. Then again, hubris had always been the biggest weakness of the Axium Corporation. They were always counting him out.
His eyes flicked up from the floor as Alice approached with a needle, but it was the open door that was of most interest to Drew himself. They'd forgotten to close the door, and he wasn't chained to the wall. This was the most perfect opportunity he was likely to get, if he was ever going to try to escape. Closing his eyes as if in surrender, he felt the power rise within him as he pulled upon it. The muffled screams from next door only heightened his resolve, and distracted them from the fact that his eyes had begun to glow blue.
The guards only vaguely seemed to register Drew's whispered word before they all ignited, and the room was glowing a blinding pale blue. Only the doctor herself remained unburned, but only because Drew had special plans for her. The screaming guards were thrashing all over the place, blocking the Doctor's only exit as they desperately tried to put out the flames that were engulfing them all. His voice would have made the spell stronger, incinerating them within seconds, but a whisper was enough to prevent them from being able to put it out. Drew stood within less than a second, his bound hands snatching the syringe from the doctor before she could register what he was trying to do.
His eyes turned to the man in the corner, the guard who held the key to Drew's restraints, who had finally fallen to the ground and burned to death. The acrid scent of burning flesh and clothing was the only thing Drew's nose could detect, but it wasn't an unpleasant or unfamiliar scent. Kneeling beside the dead man's corpse, he picked up the keys and unlocked himself, releasing his battered wrists to the air for the first time in far too long. He released a short breath in relief before standing again and turning to the doctor, who was still trapped by the burning bodies.
Lifting his newly-acquired syringe, he looked at her with amber eyes that were glowing blue. His movement was almost too fast for her to track, and he pinned her to the wall by her throat before burying the needle in her arm and pushing the plunger. This dose had been calculated for someone his size, which meant it was far too much for someone of hers. With that in mind, he gave her about half of the dose that the syringe contained. Another whispered word put out the fires as the doctor slid to the ground. He felt her pockets for her key card and cell phone, and pulled them out before leaving the prison they'd made for him.
He crushed the phone in his fist as he turned to see that two guards were in Lilith's cell, and that two guards were staring out at him, terror in their eyes. Good.
He swiped the key to open the door, and he punched the first man in the middle of the chest hard enough that Drew both heard and felt the man's ribs crack around his fist before he flew back onto the ground, coughing and curled up in the fetal position. The second man lifted his hands in surrender, backing away, but the wolf wasn't accepting prisoners. It took him less than two seconds to snap the man's neck, giving him a far less painful end than he deserved. It wasn't until the immediate threats were cleared that he knelt by Lilith and pulled the blindfold away, then the gag.
His throat hurt like hell from even those small whispers that had gotten him freed from the cell, so he didn't try to say anything, but his fingertips were warm as he touched her face with a gentleness that belied the two disabled men that lay in the floor. He may have been bruised all over from his restraints, and his throat might have been maimed, but to be able to touch her skin again... It was enough for him.

Alice blinked and it was like she was in hell. Everyone around her burst into flames and she blinked, turning quickly. He wasn't supposed to be able to use magic! She had removed his voice!!! What the fuck?! Alice couldn't get through, all the guards were on fire and soon the whole room smelled like burning flesh as one by one the guards collapsed. She couldn't get through without getting burned herself and turned to face the beast before her. For the first time, he looked menacing and Alice's eyes widened in terror.
His mouth moved again, the slightest of sounds leaving it and the flames were out. If she could just get the needle into him, but he moved quickly. Quicker than he should have and snatched the needle out of her hands. Then he turned and released his own restraints. When he turned back, Alice spat at him, her hair that escaped from her bun falling into her face. "You filthy beast! Axium will only recapture you again and kill you and your animal girlfriend!" Alice gasped as she was suddenly held against the wall, struggling for air and then she felt the prick of the needle. Fucking beast and his fucking...she would get back at him...and darkness clouded her vision as she slouched to the ground.
-----[lilith]
When the guards froze she knew something was up. What was it, though? She couldn't see, she just heard grunts as guards dropped her and a distinguishing crack of bone being broken. What was happened? She started to quickly back up before something warm touched her face, causing her to freeze. Her blindfold and gag were removed and there was Drew. He was touching her face. His chains were gone. He looked bruised and battered, how she felt. She blinked. Was she really seeing him? This had to be a hallucination, didn't it? She blinked, shaking her head. "D..drew? Is that...is it really you?" The hand that was touching her was warm. He wasn't speaking though.
This was a dream. It had to be. She could bask in it. She could. But it wasn't...it couldn't be. "This has to be just a trick." Her voice was a whisper and she tried to wiggle backwards, away from him. Her heart hurt just looking at Drew. She hadn't seen him in so long, and as real as it felt, she had had dreams that had felt real like this. She had to be dreaming and she shook her head wildly, feeling panic fill her. "You can't be. He is tied up...we are never getting out...they are just trying to..." Her voice got more hysterical as she continued, curling up on the ground. "You aren't real! YOU AREN'T REAL!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Her voice was a high pitched shriek. She was tired of being hurt, of being used, and manipulated. If the illusion wouldn't go away, she would make it somehow.

Drew frowned as she started freaking out, his heart hurting to see her like this. It took him a minute to find the key to her chains, but eventually the lock clicked and he unraveled the chains to release her wrists and ankles. Curled up as she was, he wasn't sure if she had noticed that she was free, but he gently pulled her shoulder to get her to sit up. He flinched as her flailing limbs hit his bruised joints, clenching his jaw against the discomfort, but his eyes were soft as he gradually pulled her closer to himself and wrapped her in a hug. His bare flesh was always warm, but the power he'd used made it a little bit moreso, and his heart was racing from the adrenaline of the earlier battles. He took a few more hits before he whispered in her ear, his warm breath teasing her hair.
"It's me," he told her, the raspy whisper hurting his throat even then. "It's me."
The pain in his throat was nothing if he could help her get a foothold in reality. Hopefully, it hadn't taken him too long to free them, and her sanity wasn't lost forever. He'd seen it before, and the thought that it might happen to Lilith was one that both angered and saddened him. Would she recognize him?
Next door, he knew that the good doctor was unconscious, awaiting his attention. But his vendetta against her was not as important as making sure that Lilith was okay. Well, perhaps not okay. But alive, at least, and as safe as he could make her.

Not realizing what was happening, the illusion had grabbed it. She couldn't think of anything but not letting it get close. She flailed, her eyes squeezed shut. She was making contact with something but it didn't seem to make a distance as she felt herself pressed against a hard body. A hard, very warm body. Her mind went back to the first night her and Drew had made love to her. His warm body pressed up against her. His touch. This touch. A raspy voice in her ear. She felt tears threaten to leak from her eyes as she slowly calmed down.
It was Drew? "D....Drew?" His voice was raspy and barely a whisper but she recognized it. It was him...it was Drew...he was here. Holding her. He was here holding her. That was his racing heart she felt, and his strong hands on her back. How long had it been since she last felt his touch? She became still in his arms, relaxing her slight body weight against him. Was it really over? Was this still just a ruse to get them to comply.
Lifting her head up, Lilith looked into his dark eyes, her blue eyes weren't as bright as they used to be, and they were red from un-shed tears. Her small hand slowly lifted up, touching his cheek. It was him. She blinked a couple times. "Drew." She really couldn't form much of a coherent sentence at the moment, her mind being in shock from what was happening. "What...what happened?" Her voice was hoarse from screaming as she leaned against him, why was he only whispering? What had happened to his voice? "Drew...talk to me, please." She looked at him, her hands moving to his cheeks and she looked down and saw the pink scar on his throat. "What is that? What did they do to you?!" She felt her heart start pounding as she felt darkness build in her mind, filled with hate and anger, her face turning to a frown. She wanted to touch his scar, but was too afraid as she looked back up into his eyes.

Drew swallowed heavily, trying to coat his sore throat. She... she was okay. She recognized him, and she was making sense. It was far and away better than it could have been. He didn't answer her question in words, but stepped back to help her to her feet, offering his hand to pull her up. Naked as he was, he could hardly hide the signs of mistreatment that littered his body, but he knew that now wasn't the time to dwell on the hurts. He might have cleared out this area, but there were still guards outside of the main lab that would need to be taken care of. Unless... He glanced over his shoulder as a thought occurred to him. Perhaps there was a way out of here that didn't involve going out the front door.
Looking back over to her, he gestured that she follow him. Perhaps she needed not to see the charred corpses he had left, but he did want her to see that he had the doctor at his mercy. As much as he wanted to put the fear of God into the woman, he would concede to what Lilith wanted him to do with her. His cell seemed so much smaller now, with all of the dead men littering the ground, but he pulled Lilith by the hand and brought her to stand in front of the unconscious doctor. With a question in his eyes, he looked at her and tilted his head.
Such an innocent expression for such a dark question. If she asked him to, he would torture this woman to death over the course of a week, guards be damned. Lilith deserved the closure.

Lilith let him pull her up. She was much lighter than a month ago, her ribs poking through her flesh. Drew was also covered in bruises and new scars. They were both battered badly. As Drew gestured to Lilith, she blinked, frowning as he tugged her into the hallway. Where were they going to go? Drew tugged her to his cell and she looked at all the bodies on the floor, scorched black. She blinked, registering they were a mix of mostly guards and some scientists. That fact brought no pity to her as she stepped over them, being led into the cell that had been occupied by Drew.
Against the far wall, was a very intact and very unconscious doctor. Alice. Lilith's eyes lit with hatred at the sight of her. Keeping her hand in Drews she glanced up at his questioning look. He wanted her to decide? The mad doctors fate was in her hands. She looked back at Alice, trying to summon up some version of pity, something that would keep her from saying what she wanted to say.
There was nothing but hatred and agony though. Lilith's eyes hardened with her resolve, turning to Drew. She studied the many contusions on him, his wrists, his throat....and it just hardened her resolve that much further that nothing would budge her. Staring at the doctor, her voice was quiet. "What she did to you...to me....she deserves a thousand times worse..." Lilith didn't care. She didn't care if it turned her into the animal she had been accused of being for the past month and a half. She didn't care what it made her or what hatred would solidify in her with this. The doctor deserved nothing less than a torture and pain filled death. Slow. Deliberate. That is what Lilith wanted.

Drew studied Lilith for a long moment before nodding. He would do this because he could, but it wasn't something that he wanted her involved in. Kneeling, he pulled the doctor off of the ground and lifted her onto his shoulder in a fireman's carry. He paused at the door and turned around to look at Lilith. Stay, he mouthed. Stay here.
She had already seen too much. She didn't need to watch this, too. Whether she listened to his request or not, he headed into the main lab and lowered the doctor onto the table where she had secured Lilith more than once. It didn't take him long to put the doctor into the restraints, and it took him even less time to find the medication that was used to revive someone from a sedative. Carefully pulling some from the tiny bottle into a new syringe, he injected the woman in the arm to bring her back to consciousness. He wasn't entirely decided what he was going to do to her, but whatever it was, she needed to be awake for it. There were scalpels all over the place, and he lifted one to examine its edge as he waited for her to awaken.
Once she started coming to, he cut the bottom of her shirt with the scalpel and bared her stomach. He wasn't going to gag her. He wanted her to know what it felt like to scream until her throat felt it would burst from the pain of it. Once she'd experienced that, he would show her what it was like to not be able to. He'd spent most of his life in a laboratory. He knew his way around it, even knew more than the average bear about what the various medications did. If her heart tried to stop, he would bring her back. She wouldn't get off that easily.
Looking her in the eye, he began to cut into her stomach, pulling the scalpel down her flesh in a straight line that led to her belly button. Her screams were painful to his ears, but Lilith would probably appreciate them more.
It took him nearly an hour to get her to pass out, since he was moving with slow deliberation, but there was a ringing in his ears by then. He woke her with a shot of adrenaline before whispering another word and igniting his fingertips. He held the fire a few inches from her face before lowering his hand onto her throat. The scream became a gurgle, but she died painfully beneath his hand, her throat searing closed until she could no longer breathe. He watched her die with no small amount of satisfaction.
Wiping the blood from his hands, he took a step back and looked over to Lilith. It was time to go.

Watching Drew pick up the doctor, she frowned when he told her to stay there. Why? Lilith watched him walk to the door, took a couple steps to follow him. She stood at the door as he strapped in the doctor and started going through what was around him. He didn't want her to see what he was about to do to the crazy doctor but Lilith felt the need to satisfy some deep urge. She watched Drew move. Even battered and bruised he still moved quickly and precisely. She leaned against the door frame, the metal cold on her naked body. She was still naked. Drew was still naked. Lilith didn't mind letting her eyes wander over Drew's body. How long had it been since she was able to just appreciate him.
Turning her attention back to the doctor as she started to wake up, Drew wasted no time and soon her screams met Lilith's ears. That deep darkness that had infiltrated the sweet, young, naive girl was satisfied as Lilith watched was Drew did. It took about 20 minutes before Lilith didn't want to watch anymore. The screams were enough and she turned away from the torture, instead looking around and finding a closet with some scrubs in it. She pulled out a small pair for herself, putting them on. Even small they swallowed her thin body and she frowned, tying the string on the pants as tight as she could. She then started rifling through, hoping to find something to fit Drew with no luck. Nothing was really ever prepared for someone of his size and stature so Lilith grabbed the biggest thing she could and moved back over to the room where screams were no longer happening. The doctor had passed out again and Drew was reviving her.
Lilith's eyes never left the doctor as Drew ended her life. She got what she deserved. Lilith felt Drews eyes on her and she looked up, her face not happy but not sad. It was just a neutral feeling she had. She held up what she had found in the closet in the other room and walked up to him. "They didn't have anything bigger."
This was it. They were finished. This whole thing that had happened to them. It was over. She looked at the man she loved. She loved him. That was one feeling that would never go away and she touched his chest lightly with her hand. His heart was pounding against her hand and she relished in the feeling of it. It meant that he was alive and in front of her. That this was over.
