Mo was riding Ro out into the Small Town District. She'd had fund riding to nowhere in particular, and realized that she didn't know her way back, but she had a surprising lack of anxiety. It was more sadness, in fact. It seemed like it'd been forever since she'd last gotten to talk to Silas. Harmony couldn't help it as she hopped off of Roman and sat on the hill at the edge of the unkempt road with a few tears in her eyes. The tall Clydesdale simply stood by her side and quelled her telepathically. It was nice hearing Spanish... She understood it so well, but she would take miscommunication with her favorite boy (person, really) if it meant he would return.

It'd taken some time for him to return, but he honestly couldn't say how much. The journey itself had hardly remained in his mind, a gap in his memory between then and now. He could remember leaving Harmony, and the concern he'd felt with doing so. It hadn't been his choice, and he couldn't explain to her where it was he had to go, so naturally he'd felt a touch of unease with going away. But he'd promised to return one day, hopefully soon, and well, here he was. Drifting towards where her soul beckoned to him. As he finally came upon her familiar figure, as well as that of Ro, he could only feel what must've been regret for all the secrets he bore. It seemed they'd done nothing good for her, as well as his time away.
"... Mo?" he tentatively asked, quietly coming up behind her, careful and slow. He didn't wish to scare either of them with his sudden reappearance.

Mo smiled and ran a hand up Ro's leg affectionately, telling him how much she loved him. Ro heard Silas' approach before she did and he grew on edge, which set Harmony on high alert. She stood and quickly whipped around, holding a rock as a weapon. And then she realized it was Silas. She stared, and stared, and stared, and that's all she did. Was she going crazy? Tears pooled in her eyes and she held the rock tighter. Ro reassured her this was the real Silas, but Harmony couldn't be sure. It wouldn't be the first time she'd seen things that didn't exist. "What is your horse's name and colour?" She asked in strained English, as if it would solve all of her problems.

Although he'd tried, his attempts to not startle Mo didn't work. She was quick, probably responding to something that Ro had picked up on (of course, horse sense), and Silas simply felt his eyebrows lift with surprise as he halted in his tracks, gaze trained on the rock in her petite hand. For a moment, he wondered just what it was she planned on doing with it, but the seconds ticked by and no attacks came his way. Lifting his eyes to Harmony, he tried to smile reassuringly, but those efforts of his were futile as well. She was nearly crying. "Angel. White as snow," he answered, feeling a strange yearning to go over and comfort her with his touch, to let her know he'd truly returned.

Harmony's lower lip quivered and the tears fell in waves. The small girl threw the rock at the dirt and wiped her eyes, but the tears did not stop. It was Silas, it really was! But where had he been? Why had he gone? Mo gave him a pathetic look and leapt forward, wrapping her arms around his torso as tightly as her trembling body could. Adrenaline and anxiety rampaged through her body, but so did a tinge of comfort and familiartiy. She felt at home, here with Silas. Mo buried her face in his shirt and just... Cried like her life depended on it.

The waterworks began and he was powerless to stop them, hesitating where he stood on the indecision of whether he should go over to her or not. Fortunately, the choice was made for him, and as soon as Mo had tossed the rock she was moving, coming to press herself into him. His heart beat steadily in his chest as he wound his arms around her in return, overcome with warmth and familiarity as he soothingly pressed his hand to her back. "I'm sorry I had to leave, Mo." Lowering his head, Silas frowned at the guilt he could feel in his system. Things were so much more discernible now than they'd used to be. "I missed you," he said in earnest after a moment, knowing it to be true despite how much he couldn't remember clearly.

Even Roman was relieved. He could feel the anxiety starting to peel off of Mo, shedding to reveal feelings that for once were not afraid of things. The horse nudged Silas and huffed a bit, elated.
Mo, on the other hand, was still crying like an idiot and clenching the fabric on Silas' back with all her might, but his apology suddenly filled her with guilt for being so clingy."No, no, I apologize... You may leave when you please to." She backed up to wipe her eyes with her sleeve again, hiccuping here and there from sobbing. "Do not let me stay you." Mo met his eyes, totally faking sincerity. She wouldn't stop him from leaving. How could she? He deserved so much better.

Roman had never really been his biggest fan, but clearly his absence had shifted things somewhat, and he smiled at the horse as he bumped him with his velvety nose. He lightly brushed the backs of his knuckles down the bridge of Roman's face, then rested his hand back in its place on Harmony's back, feeling the sobs that shook her small frame. Her words caused a frown to turn down the corners of his lips, and he compliantly let her move back, looking down at her with lightly troubled eyes. "I only left because I had to. I wouldn't have gone anywhere if there'd been a choice in the matter." He chuckled slightly, the sound of it almost nervous, but his frown soon reappeared on his face. "Do you want me to leave?" he questioned, not sure if she was trying to hint at that or something. Her tears said she'd missed him, but her words suggested otherwise.

Harmony listened unwillingly to Roman's titters in her mind. Where'd he go? Why'd he leave? Is he going to stay? Is he okay? Are you okay? Where's Angel? Mo furrowed her brows and shot Ro an agitated look, rubbing her arm the way she did when she was uneasy. She dropped her eyes to the ground and shrugged. "N-no... I.. I never w-want you to go." Mo wiped at her eyes some more, mostly to avoid contact, wanting to hug him again so he couldn't leave her.
But of course Harmony didn't do that, because then he couldn't leave. "I like... To have you here." It was times like this Ro wished he could just speak for Mo, but he couldn't, so he just nudged Silas roughly toward Mo, his way of saying "Get your shit together".

Well that was a relief to hear. But he could see that things were far from being even remotely fixed. He knew Harmony's tics well enough by now to see that she wasn't feeling comfortable in his presence. There was no other way of making this happen, though. Obviously, he could've waited for another time, but he felt he'd waited long enough. He'd missed her, genuinely missed her. And he needed to be by her side again. "Then I won't go," he promised, watching her carefully. Her own hesitation to keep distance between them was rubbing off on him, making him feel the need to keep a pace or so between them. It felt unfortunately far. A bit reluctantly, he kept himself in his spot, resisting the urge to help her tears go away. Hearing her struggled out words lit up a smile on his face, his answer dying away in his throat as he was prompted forward by the horse.
With a quick glance over, he took a careful step forward, returning his attention to Harmony and smiling a touch more warmly. "Is it okay if I sit with you, then? I'm sorry for interrupting your quiet time."

Mo smiled faintly, still looking at the ground. He had said he wouldn't go, and though she would never stop him, it was relieving to hear. She focused on the distance between their feet, wondering if it was a normal thing, to want a hug. She had just hugged him. Why would she need another one? Harmony hugged herself, making a big deal in her mind the fact she had just hugged him. What if he hadn't wanted the hug? What if she had forced it on him? It was selfish of her to touch another person; she knew she didn't like being touched unexpectedly. Of course, it wasn't like Silas was a stranger... But Mo wasn't any better at social normativity than she was at speaking English. Still, she wondered how Silas felt around her, and how he could possibly still want to stick around. "Okay... she smiled again in response.
Mo looked to Ro for approval, who just ignored her. She huffed indignantly and then finally brougj her gaze to Silas. He wanted to sit with her, too? Was he even real? "Y-yes, of... Certainly," she struggled out. She closed her eyes for a second, knowing that wasn't proper, but she tried to skip passed it. Moving back to where she had been seated, she watched Silas as she sat back down. She even patted the gravel beside her. "Not quiet time... I prefer you anyway." Mo wondered how that sounded to a native speaker. Was it okay? She hadn't spoken much English since he had been gone, except to Spoon. Mo's face reddened and she hiccuped at the memory. Oh god, she had thrown up right in front of him. How did anyone want to be around her? She shook her head before she could work herself up too much. "How was... Your vacation?" Harmony pressed nervously.
