Spoon was bored.
Bored, bored, bored.
God he was bored!
Spoon, the masked vigilante of New Orlands had been bored out of his god damn mind all day long. He didn't know how in the world that today became so damn dull. The young man always had some way to keep himself entertained, mainly by keeping himself busy. But today was one of those days that he had nothing to do. And when he said nothing he meant nothing. This week was his week off of his super awesome secret work, so he couldn't run around in the agency serving justice to big mean super powered freaks that were up to no good. He had already finished making videos on his youtube channel, and even some extra stuff with his friends. He would've just played some games for the hell of it, but he had too much energy to sit at home right now. All this energy and nothing to do with it. It was a shame. A damn shame, and he wouldn't stand for it!
So the hyperactive man did the one thing that he was sure would give him some enjoyment, he went out for a walk. But even that was proving to do absolutely nothing. It was a nice warm sunday morning, so few places were open and even fewer people were out and about. Spoon grumbled all the way over to the park. Damn, so much for finding something to do outside. How could he have any fun when most places that were any fun were closed? There had to be something that he could do he thought. Then he spotted it. The small child's playground that stood near the entrance of the park. It was a simple enough playground, it had a slide, jungle gym and...
"SWINGS!" the masked man squealed with glee at the sight of the swing set. Swings were always fun to play on. Spoon ran over to the swings, sat down one of the bigger swing seats and tried to swing as far up as he could, cheering and laughing like the happy man child that he was. It didn't take long for him to get himself up really high. As he was swinging though he noticed someone walking by. Oh.My.god. There was someone around after all! "HEY YOU!" he shouted, and before the person could comprehend what was going on Spoon jumped off the swing, nearly breaking a leg during an awkward landing and tackle hugged the poor innocent being that had grabbed his attention. "You wanna play with me?"

My name is Harmony Cabello. Mo for short. My best friend is a horse named Rowan, Ro for short.
She practiced what therapists in the past had told her; tell yourself your name, talk about yourself in your mind anytime you get nervous. It helped Mo, but not always.
Silas is a boy that is very nice to me. He is my favourite boy. Silas has a horse named Angel, and she is very nice to me, too.
Harmony didn't have Roman, her beautiful horse companion, and on top of that, Silas was gone too. She hated admitting to herself that she felt so vulnerable without him; especially because he was constantly distressed about her comfort over his own. All she did was shy away and make him force her to communicate, and Mo didn't understand why he stuck around. She had things she wanted to say, even needed to say that would not fall from her lips. Her tongue was a constant war zone and her mind were the bindings that held her fast. Harmony talked, yeah. But did she really speak? Did she inquire about anything meaningful, or write those thoughts that she never knew she had conceived?
No. She was just Harmony Cabello, Mo for short.
Harmony Cabello was walking by herself with slumped shoulders and crossed arms, watching cracks in the sidewalk grow near, pass, and grow near again. She counted them. So far there had been twenty-nine.
As she passed the thirtieth one, she heard a voice and was on alert instantly.
Mo walked by the park frequently. Sometimes it had a lot of people, and sometimes it didn't. When it did, it was typically kids, and she could handle them better than adults. They could be mean, but they couldn't hurt her if they wanted to. She had a knack for dealing with kids, though she preferred not to. Mo was sure she'd break anybody she touched, especially impressionable kids. So Harmony Cabello, Mo for short just kept her distance and walked by, anxiety flowing through her that she had grown used to.
Not this kind, though. Harmony hadn't realized the man's voice was shouting at her until she raised her brown eyes in time to see him pounce. A sharp scream erupted from her vocal chords, and suddenly her chest was on fire. To the ground her small body dropped, her extremities shaking viciously. This man probably hadn't meant to knock her off balance, but she wasn't exactly the most stable person... In any sense of the word. Mo had almost literally been thrown into a panic attack; she was dizzy and had a gut-wrenching, chest cramping feeling of doom inside of her body that she couldn't extinguish. It was like the man on top of her had snatched her by the throat, because she couldn't breathe and tears afflicted her eyes. She reminded herself in her brain just how stupid she was for freaking out, and at the same time told herself she was going to die. The voice that told her she would die, though, wasn't hers. It was a voice that came from the dark depths of her subconscious; it didn't have any particular tone or sound. It just told her, over and over, that she was about to die.
And though Harmony knew it was ridiculous, and she knew that she needed to just calm down, her body didn't listen. Her heart still raced painfully, her chest was still cramped, and her gut still had a rock that had been aggressively shoved down her throat. The more the Cuban girl tried to tell herself to calm down, that she was fine, the more her anxiety told her she would bother anybody and everybody she ever met because she couldn't control herself. Harmony Cabello, Mo for short would die alone because she didn't let anybody in.
Tiny "oh my God"s jittered frantically from her lips, as if these were the magic words to everything. It helped, for it reminded her that she was real and that the person on top of her was also real. She typically refrained from taking the Lord's name in vain, but she hoped her understood. He'd given her Silas, so he must hold some sort of warmth for her in his heart. Of course, Mo didn't know Silas was literally an angel sent from Heaven to guard her. She only thought he was a friend that met her by chance. Any egregious consequences to follow would sit perfectly fine, because hey, she had a friend.
My name is Harmony Cabello, Mo for short. My best friend is a horse, and his name is Rowan, Ro for short. Silas is a boy that is very nice to me. He is my favourite boy. Silas has a horse named Angel, and she's very nice to me, too.
Eyes crushed shut, she focused on the image of Silas in her mind. He always found her when she needed him, and this thought on it's own calmed her down a bit. Ro's voice from his place in the pasture also brought solace, but the tears didn't stop burning her eyes. There was still a deranged man hugging her.

Oh. My. God.
There was a person here!
There were quite a few people in the park if one looked around but most of them were either too old or too young for Spoon to even think about playing with. Kids were alright and all, but sometimes their parents really did not feel too comfortable with the idea of letting their child play with some strange horse masked man in the park. There had been enough instances of being mistaken for a pedophile for even Spoon to get the idea that approaching younger children in the park was a no no. Besides, none of the children were playing on his side of the playground for him to even think about playing with him. He was bored, and lonely. So when the eccentric psychopath spotted a lovely young lady coming his way he couldn't help but get really excited.
Finally he had someone to play with! That was the thought process going on in his brain when he literally jumped the poor girl. Did it bother him that she screamed the moment he wrapped his arms around her? Nope. Did he notice how badly she trembled in his grip, or the terrified look on her face at the sight of him? Definitely a nope. He was just so damn happy to see this girl. He didn't know who she was, or what kind of person she was, but he was sure that he would be making a new friend here. Spoon was good at making friends!
“Hello there~” he said with a deep and sexy (more like creepy) voice. “How's it going?” The man lept back onto his feet in an instant, his voice going from deep to higher pitched within seconds. “My name is Nick, but my friends call me Spoon! What's your name?” Spoon held his hand out for the young lady to help her up, you know, to be a proper gentleman since it was his fault that she was lying on the ground in the first place. “Its a beautiful day out isn't it? Did you come out to the park to have some fun? I can help with that! Do you wanna play with me?”

Harmony Cabello, Mo for short, was laying on the ground hyperventilating. It wasn't the kind of breathlessness that someone got from running, nor even the breathlessness that a person who swam too deep and gasped their first breath of oxygen upon the surface would ever feel; it was a breathlessness that her body was addicted to. The more the girl inhaled, the harder her body rejected the oxygen. The more it felt like she was going to suffocate. Mo's mind was rushing with a thousand words and none at all -- some in Spanish, and some in English. She didn't know English very well, but she had gotten better after being friends with Silas. They had plenty of misunderstanding, but they always got through it.
Mo didn't know if she could get through this sort of miscommunication. Salty tears that had pooled in her eyes were released like a dam down her cheeks when she sat up, and her pale brown face was red. Mo could not hear the kindness in Spoon's voice, nor see the playfulness in his mannerisms. She only saw herself, years prior, at a worn down two bedroom home in the Cuban slums, infested with roaches and beetles and arachnids of all sorts. She had grown fond of bugs, for they'd been her only friend the years following her sister's murder. Their own father had done it, and it was Mo's fault. She hadn't found a way to forgive herself, and through this time prayed every day for forgiveness.
The brunette wasn't thinking about the warmth of the Lord's embrace at that particular moment, though. She was focused on the snapping of her sister's neck, and the choked sounds of her own suffocation when her father had wrapped his massive hands around her tiny throat. Mo pulled at the collar of her shirt -- which was well below her neck anyway for this very reason, rapaciously trying to catch a breath. She managed to tear the fabric of her loose collar a bit, and when she finally had it in herself to look up at Spoon, her foreign dictionary made out the words "play with me" when she finally lost it. Mo turned her head to the side and vomited generously onto the pavement.
Although she gagged and heaved several times following the expulsion, Mo did not throw up anything else. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, realizing she was finally breathing right, and just sat there, staring at her disgusting pile of stomach bile. God knew she hardly ate, so there wasn't much to throw up anyway.

Nickolas Trim was not a smart man. Good old Nick never thought too much about the things he did and how it could affect others. Like right now for instance. He was too busy thinking of how bored and lonely he was until someone showed up. When someone did finally show up he was so excited by their sheer existence that he didn't think twice about jumping on them. Did he think for a second that this lady just wanted to take a quiet peaceful stroll through the park alone without any interruptions? No. Did he think that he might scare the ever loving shit out of her by tackling her to the ground and demand that she play with him? Hell no. Thinking about the consequences of his actions was not something Spoon did. Sadly that fault of his made others suffer.
Spoon's new 'friend' was not doing so well. Anyone paying attention could see that she was having a panic attack. Who could blame her? Anyone would be at least a little freaked out if a masked man tackled them out of no where. Maybe she was a little too freaked out. Most of the people Spoon had done things like this to would lose their minds at first, but once they saw he was no threat they would start to calm down. Well...maybe not calm down, some would get angry and give him shit. But they wouldn't fear him. This girl though was absolutely terrified. Still Spoon did not see the problem, he was just going on like he usually did, blathering on excitedly and asked her if she'd like to play with him.
That's when she threw up. Now Spoon realized that something was wrong. The masked man watched in surprise as the poor woman emptied her stomach. What had happened? Did he knock her down too hard or something? He was pretty strong and often under estimated his own strength. Maybe he had hurt her. Or maybe she was sick? That was a good possibility, but what could he do about it? Spoon quickly rummaged through his pockets for something he could use to help her out. Sadly he didn't have too much, he had his wallet, his keys, one of Sparkle's cat toys, a carrot stick, a hanky, and some pills for the occasional headache his powers caused. There was nothing for vomiting. “Hang on.” Spoon said as he took the hanky out to help wipe the girl's mouth after she finished throwing up. “You don't look so good. You should lie down for a bit.” With that said Spoon would attempt to pick the woman up and carry her to a nearby bench for her to rest. It was a shame that he wouldn't be able to play with her after all but there were more important things in life than playing. There was no way that he was just going to leave a sick friend alone to fend for themselves. He had to do something to help.
