Rikutsu Hakumishi 21 ● FEMALE ● HETERO ● SUPERNATURAL ● INUKAMI SPECIES INFORMATION
An Inukami, or simply Inu is essentially a canine spirit. Directly translated, Inu means dog and kami means god. An Inukami is more or less a low level god/goddess, all with the ability to transform into one or more canine forms. Their abilities vary; they are masters of trickery and deceit, and most are capable of magic or element manipulation (maximum of two), others learn to summon beings from another world, and all gain the enhanced senses and reflexes of their respective main form; often the traits from a second, third or even fourth form may carry over into their human and/or main form. Inukami generally learn of their main form immediately. Over time, they may discover more transformations - or they may not. Despite their status as low level gods, Inukami are, in fact mortal - living anywhere from one hundred to one hundred thousand years, which is their limit - and can be killed. However, it takes much effort to kill an Inu, and could very well be a wasted effort in the end, as most carry the ability of reincarnation. Abilities explained Fire and lightning Rikutsu's fire manipulation is different from the average. Instead of only burning, her flames have the power to temporarily shut down the nerves - which tell the muscles what to do - of any limb they come into contact with, thus rendering it useless. Her lightning is similar in the matter that it is not average. She very rarely uses it, as it causes a great drain on her energies, and there is the risk of it causing harm to her own body. It is bright red and strikes like wildfire, almost impossible to dodge and leaving craters behind when it hits. Shifting Rikutsu is capable of two transformations (perhaps the reason she loses so many clothes); a silver coyote and a white fox. Shifting is not a painless process, and normally takes a minute or more to complete, depending on the size of the form a shiftier chooses. Shifting leaves the individual vunerable, as movement is impossible. So Rikutsu is sure to shift out of sight. If there is a battle, she must shift well beforehand or not at all. The coyote is her main form. In coyote form, she retains her ability to devour any solid material and is small, weighing about thirty something pounds. As a fox, she can become ethereal, without a solid form and freezes anything she passes through. Gateways The next ability is portal throwing. However, the name is misleading. Instead of ripping space, Rikutsu bends one point of a nearby space to the area that she is currently in, creating a gateway; essentially a door that she or others may pass through. One cannot stay inside her gateway, and it only works one way. The range is limited; she can only throw portals to an area she can see. Summoning Summoning Wraiths is no easy task. These ghastly beings of the Netherworld require blood as payment. They are shadow beings that feed off of the hidden pain and fear inside all creatures. As a summoner, Rikutsu is unaffected by the Wraiths (as long as they are 'teathered' in her control), but close proximity to one will result in nausea, dizziness, paranoia and confused senses. Being completely engulfed by a Wraith could very well leave the victim with insanity. Acid system Lasty, Rikutsu has a unique acidic system that conforms to the genetic makeup and/or molecular structure of any solid substance that she consumes. Should she wish it to. Once discovering this, she found that she had a liking for metals. PERSONALITY
Rikutsu doesn't enjoy standing out. She would much rather remain in the background, pulling strings from behind the scenes, as she isn't much of a leader. When she wants something, though, she will outrightly demand it, but this isn't very often. She also seems to have trouble asking for help and it takes effort to gain her trust. However, with those she has come to trust, her loyalty knows no bounds and she can be playful to the point of aggravation, because she often continues to make a game of things even during serious situations. Being an Inukami, many of Rikutsu's personality traits derive from her animal forms. Coyotes are adaptable, but mischievous, and so she has gained the knack for pulling troublesome pranks. She is extremely perceptive and enjoys toying with the minds of others through word games or riddles. With the fox as her second form, Rikutsu's personality is very similar to that of a kitsune; she is prone to vanity, collecting beautiful or shiny objects, and seducing men. Although, the only time she would ever consider seducing a man is if it were to benefit her. Rikutsu is rather selfish. Even though she does have a big heart, she normally won't do something that doesn't benefit herself in some way, but she does have her moments. Furthermore, the whims of an Inukami can change as quickly as the wind. She may want something one moment, then reject it the next. APPEARANCE Rikutsu stands at five foot six, weighing in at a mere ninety eight pounds, as she is built for speed. Her skin is a light olive; almost like the skin of a Mediterranean, and she has fiery eyes that seem to vary from gold to copper and wine red. Though for the most part they glow like molten gold. Her knee length hair, which she sometimes keeps braided back is coal black, though may appear lighter in some lighting. HISTORY Waking up in New Orleans was certainly a shock for this proud and vain creature. At first, Rikutsu refused to believe that she was going to have to spend the rest of her life in such a noisy, smelly and disgusting world. Change never sat well with Inukami, but luckily, being a coyote, she was able to slowly adapt to this strange, new world. During her first few weeks, she had caused a lot of destruction, apparently believing that, even here, she could do as she pleased. The PIDA put a stop to that. They didn't do it by force, oh no, she was much to strong for that. However, one of the younger supernaturals who worked with them managed to befriend the wary Inukami. Eventually, Rikutsu began to see things differently. A little. While she still didn't care for the lives of humans - or most supernatural beings, for that matter - she did actually attempt to learn. To adapt. She wasn't going to go home, and she just needed to accept that. Fortunately, she didn't have to live in the city. During one of her many escapades into the forest, she came upon a quaint, old fashioned house that was in bad need of repair, but it was still standing, and it was beautiful. So she set to work restoring the elegant home, using her income from being employed by the PIDA to assist her endeavors. MISCELLANEOUS INFO OCCUPATION: PIDA Agent. POSITION: Special Agent.
