Azazel was loving this situation. Why? For the fact that this demon was asking for an angel's help in putting another in its place. This was glorious and so very funny to him. The angel couldn't help but to laugh underneath his breathe. "You may be older than me, demon. But I doubt it would easy to take me on only by yourself." Azazel said with a humorous tone in his voice. He wasn't scared of this demon and he knew the feeling was just as mutual. She said that not every demon was a liar. Azazel hardly believed that and didn't want to believe it as well. Azazel directed his cold grey eyes at the demon with a causal smirk across his face. "And love, all I ask of you is to be truthful with me as you said not all demons lie. You're not like all demons, are you?"
Azazel's plan was to be the one in charge during this job even with Loki and himself being fed information. She was still flirting with the angel, making him scoff and turn his head to side. She was pissing him off and getting under his skin. Still the promise to keep his anger in check was all from letting him go completely crazy on this demon. "My friend here isn't property at all. He's an individual that helps me with jobs. I rather you not put your filthy hands on my friend. " Azazel said with venom in his voice. Loki was his friend and this demon was calling him as if he was a common pet. This demon is really pushing his buttons as she teased Loki. That was his job and everything. His greed was showing. Azazel noticed that and breathe out deeply. He needed to relax before his anger manifest itself out again and make his nickname more visible than ever.
Azazel noticed how she gave Loki a folder with information about the target. Lili spoke about this Raum, a upstart demon that wants to take over her position. Hilarious really it was for the angel as he was just taking this all in. Azazel thought for a moment to himself as the demon was talking to them. Once before, angels had a moment of not being as a unit. A group of angels wanted to be equals to God and demanded for the same power as him. That backfired and made demons become what they are now. It was sad really. And Azazel was somewhat in the same boat for he had fallen from the same place his brother had. For a sin that he didn't realize was so bad. Azazel sigh a bit as he snapped himself back to the present time. " Well," Azazel started as he stretch some. His body was aching from being in same room as this demon. "What is it that you want us to do? The price varies on what all we are doing." Azazel stated as he look over at Loki and smirk some. " 2 million each. That with extra motives being added. Now tell us what else do you want from us fine-gents?" Azazel said as he walks over to her and stands in front of her. She was shorter than he thought she was. Weird how demons hid their real self sometimes.

This was going to be one hell of a day. Loki already knew that he had a lot of work cut out for him with this whole mission before they had even stepped foot into the demon's lair. He knew this, not because of how challenging their fight with the opposition was going to be, but how Azazel would handle the person they were suppose to be working for. Loki was very good at reading any situation so he could easily feel the tension in the air between the fallen angel and demoness. Any idiot could feel it really. Despite Lili's flirtations and cool demeanor the look in her eyes showed how dangerous she really was. The way she watched Azazel, silently observing every slight movement he made was like watching a viper getting ready to strike. She was ready for anything Azazel might throw at her. As for the angel himself? Azazel was the last person to ever trust a demon. The older man was dealing with this as best as he could. He didn't try to attack the second that they spotted each other. He even managed to keep his hands off the demon's tiny throat when she started flirting with him. But that was as far as it went. It was clear that Azazel was trying to take complete control over the situation just as much as Lili was trying to keep things under her control. This battle for domination was not going to make things any easier.
Loki mentally sighed. He hated having to deal with this kind of crap. It reminded him all too much about the stupid little power struggles that he had to deal with under his father. Only this time he was more caught up in the middle than he was on the opposing side. Naturally Loki would side with Azazel, but in order to keep both sides satisfied he would need to make them settle with working with each other rather than against each other. “As far as being honest with one another goes I think we can trust the lady on that department.” Loki said. “Demon or not there is little benefit in hiding anything that could risk failure. After all it will be your political influence and life on the line right?” Loki smiled at the demoness which earned him a little grin from her in return. The little shifter knew how this game of politics worked. No matter where he was the game was the same. This was his father's element, and by extension his own, even if their tactics of handling it were different. At least he wasn't going to get punished if he fell a little bit off his old man's method. Lili seemed dangerous and cunning but the chances of her trying to pull a fast one on them didn't seem likely. Though mercenaries were treated differently than common soldiers or generals they were given at least enough respect to be told the truth of their situation than the rest. Lili would tell them what they needed to know in order to help them with their job. They wouldn't get any more than that if they didn't either earn her trust or did some snooping on their own. Luckily for Azazel Loki was good at both those things. Lili probably wouldn't trust Az enough to tell him anything but she was interested in Loki enough that he might be able to get on her good side.
Ah yes, that was another thing that did not get past the boy from the start. Even when the demon seemed to be giving Azazel all of her attention she still glanced at him every once in awhile. The few times she paid him attention at all made the boy's skin crawl. The look in her eyes was as unsettling as Guillotine's had been in the past. It wasn't the same look of hunger that Loki had grown accustom to, and it wasn't the same kind of lust that she gave Azazel, but whatever it was didn't make him feel too comfortable. It wasn't helping with Azazel's mood either. Hearing his friend telling the demoness to back off when she started talking about him helped him relax a little bit, but it didn't make the female back off. “So he doesn't belong to you? What a shame. You might want to reconsider not laying a claim to him yourself. Someone dangerous might try to pick him up one of these days and you will lose him.”Loki chuckled to himself upon hearing those words.
“I'm touched by your concerns.” the boy replied with a hint of sarcasm in his tone as he spoke. “But no one needs to worry about me. I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself. No one can claim me unless I want to be claimed. That isn't the issue that we need to discuss right now. What I and my friend are here for is to deal with your little personal problem, not mine. Why don't we get back to that.” That discussion was far from being over but at least for the moment they were able to turn the conversation back to what they originally came here for. Loki listened as Lili talked about the person targeting her. The boy had never heard of Raum before but that wasn't much of a surprise, he didn't know much about the demons here in New Orlands except for the one that was openly out to get him. Lili didn't give him a lot to go on about the man until she handed him a file. Well it wasn't much but it was a start. Loki took the file out of her hands and started to thumb through it a little while she and Azazel continued to negotiate. The boy smiled back at the angel when he named their price. The price was way more than he ever made but given the nature of the job it seemed fair enough. The demoness seemed fine with the price too since she didn't openly rejected it or even seemed fazed by it.
“Two million each is fair enough for this.” Lili nodded in agreement. “But for the side mission I want you to do I am willing to part with another extra million if you can pull it off. What I want you to do shouldn't be too hard. I want you two to take care of Eugene for me. I don't care how you do it. You can hide him away until Raum is dead, you can sneak him out of the city, he has family that he can turn to that that bastard won't be able to reach. Just make sure he's safe and sound in case things do go badly. If you fail to keep him or his soul safe you will get nothing from me...I will also expect some compensation in return. Do we have a deal?”

It was really time for the angel and shifter to get away from here. This demon was getting full of herself a bit too much of the angel's liking. With the flirting, Azazel was getting tired of it especially with a demon doing it to an angel like him. He believed that she was just toyed with them both as the time passed. It was getting a bit ridiculous and unnerving for Azazel. As he tried his best to keep his greed to hurt this demon right now and strike them as calm as possible. But his hand inch closer and closer to his blade, in order to reassure himself. Azazel grabbed his hand from himself and shoved them both into his pockets. His calm demeanor regain itself and displayed clear towards the demon.
Azazel's trust wasn't fully into the demon, believing that the vile creature might change up on them both and try to hurt them both as well. Demons always served themselves as the un-trusting type and that made the angel worry more than anything. It was really sad that Azazel couldn't keep his holier than thou self in check like his rage. But angels and demons could never coexist. Not now or ever in the future. It was a shock how long they coexist in this one city. Despite the random fights and turf wars. Yet despite that all, Loki reassured him that he could trust this one demon. " You're far too trusting an demon, kiddo. But I'll take your word on it as always."
Azazel said to the shifter. Azazel's eyes lock onto the demonness whose eyes never left their target. Obvious, the angel was in her eye and despite all that she done with angel he was different from most. May it be the appearance he had or what he was from the rest. Whatever it was, the angel had all of the demon's full attention. She made another comment about Loki being own and that Azazel should take ownership before someone else does.
These buttons were getting pushed really easy now. How dare she insinuate that Loki as a pet. He was a friend, one of Azazel's closest friends he known with his time on earth. " I remind you, he's my friend and I want you to respect that...demon." Azazel's tone grew darker for a moment before he realized. When he did, Azazel turn away from them both, staring out of the window. "And even if that did happen, I would help him at any risk.." Azazel said low before turning back around with fire in his eyes as he stated his word. The angel would do anything for his friends even if it cost him his own life. Usually a few cuts and bruises are on him after defending them but his live would be on the line whether they ask him to or not.
Loki had handled the rest of the situation with Lili. Azazel sigh some as he wished he gave up on the job beforehand. Eh, it was a way to pay for things he didn't want to use his powers for. The unnecessary things that Azazel would've done with his powers and ran out quicker than he did before. For the moment of quiet, Azazel thought of this Raum. He had heard about him a bit, a real upstart that did nearly everything in his power to get to the top. At least in the demon way of life.
Azazel always heard people talk about the guy but never seen him at all. Azazel thought about the number of demons he had ever come across in his lifetime. Sadly, none of them appeared in his head as Raum. This should be interesting. Just as Azazel thought Lili was done giving them information, she drops a bombshell on them both.
We were take care of her soul boy toy, Eugene. Azazel looks at Loki for some reason. " Crap that's a tall order to ask of us now lady." Azazel sighed , patting Loki's head as he started to walk towards the demonness. " We'll do it, send him out with us now for we leaving. Come on L, time to look at that file and gut this demon runt." Azazel flashed a smile at the kid before heading towards the door. Man this was going to be a tough one for the angel to handle but at least he'll be able to release some pent of rage. Raum at his expense was going to dying to relieve the stress of the Devil's GodSend. "Oh yeah don't worry we'll take care of him real good. He'll be fine, you have my word."

This meeting needed to end soon. Loki had expected that Azazel was not going to take meeting their new employer well because of what she was. Naturally he expected things to not go well, but he didn't know what to expect on the demoness. Azazel was predictable when it came to demons, he had an instinctive hatred for the breed, similar to Loki's own instincts when it came to dealing with rodents. Some creatures just couldn't mix. But each individual dealt with their instincts differently. He knew how Azazel would handle the situation but he didn't know how the demon would treat the angel. What would happen today laid solely on how the demoness treated the men she planned to hire, and Loki's own ability to keep Azazel under control if he needed to. Loki didn't expect for either side to treat each other with much respect, but he didn't expect the flirting. Maybe it shouldn't have come as a terrible surprise to see this demon flirting with his friend. Azazel was attractive in his own way, and his personality was enough to draw in those of the opposite sex that had a thing for bad boys. But still it was a bit of a surprise to see happen, and it was something that did not amuse the angel nearly as much as the demon.
Too bad he could do nothing to stop that. He could have tried to charm the demoness to help keep some of Lili's sexual interest off of his friend, he had no problem doing so under normal circumstances, but there was something about her that made him feel like he would be making things worse if he did. He just didn't trust her in that department. But when it came to her cooperation in this mission though that was another story. The boy cracked a smile when his friend claimed that he was being too trusting of the demonic female. Loki didn't have much faith in Lili as he appeared to. He knew all too well that the demon would stab them in the back the moment that she perceived them as some sort of threat. But her desire to regain her foothold in her realm meant that she had to work with them in order to get what she wanted. It was suicide for her to do otherwise so she would do what she needed to do to make them succeed no matter how much she hated it. That was what he was banking on.
Her desire to stay alive and maintain her power wouldn't free them from her other interests though. For Azazel he would probably have to deal with the female's flirtation till the job. As for Loki it seemed that she wanted something else from him. Loki did not miss the looks she gave him when she dared to look in his direction, but when she started paying him even more attention he became more uneasy. Her advances with him were enough to getting on his partner's nerves too. It was clear what this demon thought about his presence. It wasn't too much of a surprise to hear her contemplating him like he was some fancy toy. Thanks to his experience with Guillotine and what he had heard about demons in general, their kind rarely thought of anyone outside of their race as equals. To them everyone else were just things that they could possess or destroy whenever it struck their fancy. It hardly mattered to her that he said he was anything but an object she still thought of him as such. Loki hated but it didn't set him off nearly as much as it did Azazel. He could hear it in his voice how angry the angel was with her, he half expected the man to draw his blade but he didn't. Thankfully he didn't but he gave her a warning instead. A part of him was touched by what Azazel said, but another wished he didn't say what he did.
Loki valued his friendship with the angel too much to allow the man to sacrifice himself just to protect him. After losing Amalia, Loki couldn't bare the thought of losing anyone else. He was doing his best to not repeat the same mistakes he made in the past. He was stronger than he was back then and more capable of taking care of himself in a fight. But would that be enough to spare Azazel from the burden he might become? Loki thought about that a lot, deep down he knew that one day he would have to leave if things got too chaotic. Hopefully now was not going to be that day. It was a big relief to finally get the conversation back to their mission. Azazel fell silent while Loki and Lili discussed details. Now that they knew what they had come for they needed to get information about their target. The demoness was quick to give them a little bit of back story on the other demon that was giving her trouble. The man in question was a demon named Raum. The name did sound a little familiar to him. While the details of the demonic side of the underground was hard to come by Loki's associates still got a little bit of information enough to know one or two of the big players there. Raum was one of them. That was as far as Loki's knowledge went. But now he was about to get all the information he could ever need on the man all on one big file. This was a good start.
Before Loki could take his partner and leave so he could read the file Lili made a strange request. The men exchanged looks for a moment upon hearing her words. It was a simple request but a surprising one coming from someone like their client. Demons were not the most caring lot according to Azazel, creatures outside of their race were regarded as lesser creatures so they had little problems harming or discarding the ones they used once they lost their value to them. Loki would have been inclined to believe the same thing if it wasn't for Gil. It might be rare but demons could care about some thing other than themselves. Did Lili care enough about her little human slave to be making such a request? It was hard to say, the shifter had some sneaking suspicions that Lili did not strip Eugene of his soul yet. Maybe she was doing this just to protect her investment? Maybe she cared for the boy? Or perhaps there was something else that she was not letting on? He couldn't wait to find out about this. Loki purred when Azazel pat him on the head but he didn't say anything when Azazel accepted their side mission. He was more than happy to help take the poor human boy to safety regardless of any underhanded schemes or problems his presence might bring up.
The demoness seemed pleased with the angel's acceptance. Loki watched as she gave his friend a seductive smile. “Good. I trust that you will take very good care of him. As his master Eugene's life is important to me, I can't have him harmed because of all of this. I'll fetch him for you in a moment, just wait for him outside so he can accompany you...but don't let him know that you are taking him away from me until you are far away from this place. The last thing you two need is to have him lash out at you. The boy might look harmless but he's dangerous if provoked. If he does start to lash out tell him he's free to return to me on his own once this matter is dealt with. If he returns before then I will kill him myself.”

Azazel was happy that this meaning was finally over. That demonic woman was certainly full of herself doing the whole time. Making rules that the fallen angel was forced to comply with. And can do little to anything about it at the same time. Her constant hints at the man by calling him handsome and whatnot. A demon that was true to themselves as always. Azazel scoffed some to the side. His heart was for another even if they weren't talking as much as when they found each other once again. The past and life are cruel things to the fallen angel however, the audacity that this demon was flirting with him of all people. Just seem sickening and wrong in the holier than thou man. A demon and angel together, can one say eww. Azazel by no means wanted to have anything to do with the demon. He was focused on getting the job done and over.
Now he had to consider the fact he put on guard duty on helpless welp named Eugene. A child that given himself to the demon and claimed his loyalty to said being as well. Could he be any less stupid?! Azazel knew that he would come into play somehow and in some way but he didn't know how or when. This toy was gonna cause the angel heartache for being dumb and reckless. But then again who was the angel to judge? He had gave into sin as well and he's paying for it. At least he could protect the child as a good deed in this mess of a mission. In truth, it made the angel mad but his calm was justified as the meeting was over.
As soon as she had went to fetch her little boy toy, the angel went outside with Loki to breathe some. He took in the smell of the city through his nostrils and exhale out. Suddenly he drove his foot into a nearby street post, making a large dent into it. " Man that felt good," Azazel said with a delightful sigh escaping his lips. The air in the demon's complex was congested. To the point it was even hard to breathe for the angelic being. As he calmed himself now he look over at Loki, tilting his head in his direction.. " So how does the target look, kiddo?" Azazel asked as he push his hair back into place. Azazel wanted to know what the guy look like before they headed back to their office and come up with a plan for everything. The only matter that concerned him was dealing with Eugene. The kid might be a help or hindrance. More of a problem in eyes of the fallen angel than helping in any way possible.
" Hmm... so how do we want to handle the kid? We could either take care of him ourselves or leave him somewhere else with his family. I rather not deal with a human especially the one that sell the souls to demons." Azazel finished fixing up his hair and pulled out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a puff.He was still upset with the human for doing something so reckless. Like seriously. Ugh, Azazel was getting more upset which cause him to kick at the light post once more, making the dent bigger.
He look over at Loki again."This job seems more like trouble than anything else we either had to deal with. Well except the job I had back when dealing with another angel." Azazel said casually while exhaling smoking from his lips to the side. He waited as the demon came out with her little toy. "Come on now, we have things we need to do." Azazel stood there by the car, tapping his foot impatiently.

It was finally over. After what felt like an eternity Azazel and Loki were finally done with the meeting. It was a great thing to just step outside and take a breather. God that encounter was intense. Loki knew it was going to be bad but knowing that didn't make dealing with it any easier. Their employer was going to a problem. The shifter was sure she would honor her side of the deal so long as they did what she wanted, but between her shameless flirting with Azazel, and her creepy fixation on him, working with her was going to be a chore for both of them. They would have to be careful on how they dealt with her. Azazel especially thanks to his anger issues when it came to demons. But for now they could focus on their real target, Raum. Loki was already browsing through the file he received from Lili. There was a lot of information to look over which he would have to do once they got home, but for now a quick look at the basics would have to suffice. Loki's concentration broke for a minute when he heard the sound of metal impacting with something hard, making the boy jump and turn to look at Azazel. “Save some of that energy for our target Az.” The boy teased. As bad as Lili was at least Azazel would get the chance to kill one demon, perhaps even more than that depending on how things went which would do wonders for his pent up frustrations. Speaking of the target, Azazel asked him about the guy. “Well there is at least one piece of good news.” Loki replied as he pulled out one of the photographs out of the file to hand to him. “A tall guy with silvery hair, red eyes, and pale looking skin sticks out so he shouldn't be too hard to find. The down side is he's going to be a handful.” Loki looked down at the paper with Raum's basic description at the list of powers he possessed. “There is no certainty on how strong he is since not all of his powers are known, he does have some shadow related powers which could be a real big problem depending on his limits.” The little shifter thought back on the time he had first met Weylyn. The older shadow cat had been a nice guy but the power he wielded would have been hard for anyone to handle. “If he can merge with shadows he could out maneuver us easily. We would need to pin him down somehow, devils traps would work best, but that means we would have to prepare an area in advance to fight him in and find a way to lure him there.” “That won't be too easy to do since he's guarded.” Loki said as he flipped a page over, “According to this he's got two personal bodyguards. They aren't demons though. One is a werewolf and the other a vampire, I'd have to look into them to see how much of a threat they are. But seeing who they are working for they are probably very strong for their kind.” There was a lot of preparations that they would need to handle before they could make a move on Raum, but before they could even think about that they would have to deal with their human problem first. What were they going to do with Eugene anyway? In all of Loki's thoughts about their target he never really had much of a chance to think about what to do with the human boy until Azazel brought it up. Loki turned his gaze away from Azazel for a moment as he thought about their little problem. “We could send him back to his family...but then we can't guarantee his safety. We have no way of knowing if he might be followed by Raum or one of his cronies and killed while our back is turned. Or if Raum is already waiting for him there depending on how much he thinks the kid's mistress values him. Besides Lili did say that we can't let him know that he's being let go, sending him back home is a dead give away.”
It wasn't the most ideal solution but their answer was obvious. “I don't think we have much of a choice but to keep him with us. It will make things a bit more complicated but its the better solution. Who knows, he might have some use for us. He has been living with demons far longer than us so he will have a better understanding of how the demonic side of the criminal world works to help us find our way to Raum. He definitely has information on his mistress which might come in handy in case things turn sour with her. I am pretty sure though he sold his soul to her she hasn't taken it away yet so there is a chance that we can persuade him to leave her.” From what he had heard about losing one's soul, and what he saw of Eugene, Loki was sure that the human still had his soul in tact. Why hadn't Lili taken his soul though? That question was still nagging at the back of his curious mind. She had plenty of opportunities to take the human's soul, even now before she could hand him over to his new bodyguards. Was she just saving it for some future use? Or was there some other reason she wouldn't take it yet? Loki didn't know, and he didn't have much of a chance to think on why when he saw both Eugene and Lili heading their way. The shifter chuckled at Azazel's next comment. “Yeah it will be one hell of a mess to deal with, but there is some benefit to it. Not just for us, but for the human as well if he's willing to take that chance.” Loki watched as the two started heading towards them, even from so far away the shifter's naturally keen ears could catch a bit of their conversation. Eugene seemed upset about having to leave, though his mistress was doing her best to console him. She sounded pretty convincing as she told him that it was only temporary, perhaps some part of her believed it. Lili gave her goodbyes to her human slave before returning indoors, leaving the boy to confront the shapeshifter and angel. Loki almost felt sorry for the guy, he looked so upset and nervous on his own. Getting the boy to feel more comfortable around them would be important so it naturally fell to Loki to be the one to be nice with him. Loki flashed the other boy a warm smile. “Relax buddy, its not going to be too bad.” Loki tried to reassure the human. “Just think about it like you are taking a few days off, you can just chill, take a nap, or whatever you want while we deal with your mistress's problem in the mean time alright?” Loki let Eugene hop into the car first before turning his eyes on Azazel. “So how do you want to do this? Do you want to setup shop in a hotel for awhile or are we going to take our work home with us?”

As the two stood outside to take a break from everything. It was a moment of letting everything that had happened before them to sink in. Azazel smirk at the kid's comment about his attack on the nearby light pole that had a few dents into it from his foot. "Heh, I have plenty of energy to spare especially for the demonic bastards that plague this city." Azazel said with a sadistic smile across his face. He was ready to hurt this demon with each passing second. The demon will fill up his greed and make up for what he had to do endure. A simple trade, no? Azazel believed it was. Just thinking about getting what he was starting to get to be too much for the one angel to handle.
Loki started to talk about something that would lighten up this situation than it currently was. He showed the angel an photograph of the target. This was Raum. A pale, silver haired, tall demon that seem to be so into himself, that is what we called pride. And boy was he displaying it without a care in the world. Oh Azazel was gonna enjoy breaking him down a peg but however there would be some problems with that. As he shook with seer anticipation, Loki brought him down to his normal self with the side note that the demon brat wasn't just for show. He could actually fight. Dealing with an shadow user would be a pain in the ass for they could hide and retreat; striking whenever they are able after their wounds are tended to. " Ugh, damn it. Why must he become a pain in the ass?" Azazel said to Loki, while staring at the sky. This was becoming less and less fun for the angel to get what he wanted. Now a plan must be devised and put into action or they wouldn't get paid. However Loki wasn't done talking about the details of this fellow. Oh now he was becoming a pain in the ass more. He had bodyguards?! Only demons to gather others to protect them. Azazel scoff to the side. " Frigging demon..enlisting the help of those strong enough to protect him. Blasphemy." Azazel said to Loki. He went quiet for a moment and thought about of an plan that was forming in his mind.
Just as Azazel coming up with a plan on how to tackle this demon into submission and kill him off before anything dire happened. Yet there was another issue that was in front of the duo. Eugene. The brat that gave up his soul to his demon lord, Lili. Which made his blood boil. "Uh...don't remind me we have to take care of the spaz." Azazel said to Loki, kicking the side of the light post once. He was getting pissed off again. With a sigh, Azazel listened to his partner about the options that they were given. The logical choice would be to keep the guy near them at all times without any problems. For the possibility that if they did send him away, with the information that Raum has about Lili. It's pretty obvious that they would know about her little pet and know where to hit her where it hurts. Azazel didn't want to lose any money being lost or a life because of him. He sighed and look back towards Loki. " Well, we have to take him. I don't want to lose any money at all."
Just as the brat came out, Azazel stood there in silence for a moment. He stared at the boy and demon that stood before him. He growled underneath his breathe. "God, why must we have to deal with this guy." Azazel mumbled to Loki but knew that the demon would have probably heard him talking about her and her pet. He saw the embrace she gave the boy. It made him sick a bit and scoff to the side. Lili said her goodbye to Eugene for now and left back into her place. Loki asked him a question about where to go now since the kid was in their custody. "Well I know a place, its downtown and not far from everything. Plus its somewhere I go when I have business like this. Just a few things." Azazel directed them to the car. " Follow every rule, don't fight in there and be alert at all times." Azazel spoke as he went to the driver and whisper the location to his ear, sitting back with the two boys. "Alright you two, keep calm and relax. Once we get in there, I'll do all of the talking. " Azazel said as he close his eyes some.

Oh Azazel, nothing seem to bring out the best of the fallen angel than the mere thought of killing demons. Loki knew the man had a distaste for their kind. Angels and demons were natural enemies but he didn't think that it was this bad. He had thought that the rage Azazel had over Guillotine was as strong as it was because of the history the two had with one another. But now that he was seeing how the man acted while they discussed their new job he started to realize that that anger was nothing special. Well at least that meant he might have some fun with this. Azazel was a born fighter so a job like this was something he was built for. The more that Loki looked over the file on their target though the less confident he felt about their success with it. Raum was much more powerful than Lili had led them to believe. Could they really do this? Azazel was strong, and Loki had enough knowledge on demons to exploit their natural weaknesses but this Raum guy was not just any old demon. If he was as simple and dimwitted as Gil was this would be easy but that didn't seem to be the case here. This demon seemed as crafty as he was cocky, he possessed the power to manipulate shadows, and on top of that he was very well protected. If they had any hope of defeating him they would have to be crafty to do it. Coming up with a good plan, and getting everyone to stick to it was not going to be that easy. Azazel was a bit too impulsive at times to follow through with instructions, especially when he was already as riled up as he was. He could hear it in the angel's voice as he gave the bigger man a run down on their target.
“We wouldn't have been called in to deal with him if he wasn't going to be a major pain in the ass.” Loki pointed out once the man started complaining. The boy chuckled some to Azazel's reaction to the bodyguards. The bodyguards were nothing new to the shifter. He almost expected the demon to have some given his situation. “If you were a no good bastard with a lot of money, and had a bad habit of pissing off other powerful and influential jack offs you would hire a goon or two to watch your back too. If we are lucky they won't be much of a problem, but we need to learn more about them first to be on the safe side.” Loki would not waste any time once they could get themselves settled down somewhere to look into these troublesome bodyguards. Once he knew what they would be going up against he could come up with a way to deal with them. There was another problem to deal with before he could make any plans to fight against the enemy, and that problem was the human.
Nothing could be done until they knew what to do about Eugene. Just bringing up the kid made Azazel sulk. Neither of them liked the idea of babysitting but there was nothing that they could do about it. They were being paid extra to take care of the human so they would have to do it. That meant making the kid tag along with them while they did their business. It wasn't the most ideal situation but it was one that they would have to deal with. Loki planned to make the best of it though. The little feline was good with people so he had no problem dealing with the shy human boy. Loki took his attention away from the human for a moment to ask Azazel where they would be going for the time being. The shifter nodded in agreement when Azazel offered to lead them to a place downtown to stay. Loki helped lead Eugene into the car while Azazel gave their driver directions. When the angel returned he gave the boys a few rules to follow. The warning didn't do much to help improve Eugene's mood. The poor boy's face went pale just thinking about what might happen if they pissed off the wrong people. Loki on the other hand seemed to be rather calm, he even chuckled a bit as he listened. “I seriously doubt that our new friend or I will be the ones starting any fights. That is the last thing you have to worry about right?” Loki gave the human boy a little winking before turning back to Azazel. “Don't worry I got it, keep quiet and out of the way. But just to stay on the safe side, what basic rules do we have to follow once we get there?”

As the boys were passing by the nearby buildings, Azazel started to think over what he had to deal with this one job again. A demon was asking the help of the city's worst example of a angel. To kill another demon who caused them problems before and now. Great a simple job with idiotic demons that are trying to run the city. Alright Azazel could handle that. However, a bigger pain was in front of him. He and Loki were to play the role of babysitting a human who mind you sold his soul to the demon that hired him. Ugh what a pain, Azazel thought to himself , pushing the side of his hair back. It's a nerve-racking part of the job for being watch duty left them very vulnerable at any moment. Loki could handle the kid by himself if something small were happen but this demon guy wouldn't make it easy. Which had the angel very excited and scared, for the demon had some strong bodyguards himself but no one Azazel has ever faced had him on the edge. Not now nor ever but the angel's greed was making him very anxious wanting Raum to do something or at least try. It makes things more fun. Azazel chuckled to himself before he was snapped back to reality by Loki. Loki was asking questions about where they were going. " Ah, its called the Continental. It's a place I go to went I go undercover for big jobs. Plus a lot of supernaturals come here too. It's my home away from home." Azazel smiled to them both, chuckling at the sentence. "Anyways, the rules of the hotel is no fighting, accepting any job is prohibited there and you're liable for yourself." Azazel said as he look over to them both. Eugene look like he was going to wet himself any moment now. That look was quite entertaining to the angel. Pitiful human. Helpless and such a bother. But he was the reason why both Loki and Azazel would get paid or not. Uh, Azazel felt that the kid wouldn't help them out and be more of a hindrance but for Loki's sake he would give the kid more credit. At lease for the moment. The car suddenly stopped in front of the hotel that were supposed to arrive at. " Boys, welcome to the Continental." Azazel smiled as he open the door and led them inside. Azazel goes to the front desk and smiles at the desk attendant. " Ah, Azazel welcome back to the Continental. The Devil's Godsend is back to work huh?" the attendant asked. Azazel made a ace but nodded to his question. " I need a room for 3. I have extra baggage this time but I've inform them both of the rules of this place. " The desk attendant nodded and grabbed the room key for Azazel, chuckling some. "It's not the old room but it's by the old one although. I wish you luck in your job and it'll be placed onto your tab as well." Azazel nodded and directed the boys to the elevator, heading up to the room. Azazel sighed some again, trying to think of the plan that was unraveling in his head but not too much prevail. " L, we need a plan. I assume you had some time to think over one than my basic charge and hit hard tactic." Azazel rubbed the back of his head, laughing some as the elevator stopped.

This was going to be a fun little adventure for the three amigos. Now with the human boy tagging along Loki and Azazel needed to figure out some kind of plan before they could do anything. Right now they needed to figure out where they were going. There were plenty of issues with bringing Eugene to their home that that was the last place Loki wanted to go. Mixing work with your private life was never a good idea, especially when ones work just might endanger yourself. But going to some random hotel had its risks too. They were charged with ensuring this human's safety on top of their assassination mission, if word got out where the human was hiding out they could kiss their reward, and maybe even their lives, goodbye. Loki wasn't sure where they could go but Azazel had a plan. He mentioned some special hotel that was designed to house people in their line of work. It would be the perfect place for them to go. Eugene didn't look all that confident about this plan but Loki was all for it.
There were some rules they had to follow though if they were going to head there. So Loki, being the curious, need to know ever little detail of something person that he was asked where they were going and what they needed to look out for. The place in question they were going to was called the Continental. The name didn't ring any bells, either the place was very good at keeping itself on the hush hush or Loki's network was still not good enough to at least find out about this place (it was probably the latter). Either way it was a good starting place. The rules were pretty simple, don't fight anyone, and if you got into shit you were on your own. Somehow Loki doubted either he or Eugene were going to start picking fights with the other residents. The other rule wasn't much of a rule as it was just common sense. Loki wasn't likely to get himself into any trouble. He wasn't so sure about Eugene but it wouldn't be too hard to just keep the kid locked away in his own room to keep him from doing anything reckless.
It didn't take them long to arrive at the hotel. Just like Azazel instructed Loki just followed the angel's lead and kept his mouth shut while the man went about his business. Eugene was pretty obedient too, whether out of habit from years of servitude under his demonic mistress, or just out of fear of his new caretakers, Loki wasn't certain, but Eugene was quiet and as far as anyone was concerned that was a good thing. Once their room was ordered the trio left the reception and headed to their room. While they waited for the elevator Azazel asked Loki if he had a plan. The boy smiled at his friend in response. “I might have an idea in mind already.” he replied. “Like I said before our target is not going to be an easy opponent to take on. If you want to hit him hard we have to limit his ability to fight back at full power first. I'll tell you more about it once we get inside our room. The last thing we need is give anyone the chance to overhear our plans and screw things up.” Loki didn't say anything else until they made their way into their hotel room. The shifter let everyone else enter the room before he closed the door behind them and took a look around the room. It wasn't the fanciest of places but it had enough space to accommodate them. There was even a laptop sitting on a desk nearby. Perfect, he might not need to go fetch his own at home.
“How secure do you think their computers here are?” Loki asked as he made his way over to the desk to look over the little old laptop. There was a lot of research he needed to do and little time of which to do it, but there was no way in hell he was going to do anything if there was a chance that the information he would be looking for would get leaked. He did have some experience in tech to help cover his tracks if need be, but it didn't hurt to ask. That could wait though, first he needed to lay his plan out on the table so they could actually get started on something. Truth be told Loki didn't have much of a plan yet, he had a broad idea he wanted to work with but until he could get started on his research so he could figure out the finer details he could only give his partner a general picture. “About the plan. Like I said before we can't approach this as a simple fight. Raum from what I can tell is powerful and elusive, alone he is a force to be reckoned with, and his bodyguards won't make things any easier. What we need to do is to level the playing field. We need to first get him away from his protection and lure him into an area of our choosing with enough warding to keep him in once he's inside. We will have to more or less seal him away where he won't be able to take advantage of his shadow powers so you can come in and beat his ass. But for that we need some kind of lure, something to bait him to come to us...luckily we have just that.” Loki's gaze fell upon the human boy. Eugene looked confused at first but suddenly it seemed to dawn on him what the shifter was talking about and his eyes grew wide.
“Y-you mean me?” the human's voice squeaked with fright and disbelief.
“Unless you have a better idea for a lure you are our best bet. Think about it.” Loki said, turning his attention back to Azazel. “Our client sent him with us because she thinks he might be Raum's next target. If she would go to such lengths just to protect him, her enemy must know how important he is to her. He wouldn't pass up an opportunity to hurt her through him. If he's cocky enough he would definitely want to kill the human with his own hands. We could use that moment to our advantage.” Loki turned his gaze back to Eugene, the poor boy looked as pale as a ghost after hearing Loki's idea. That came as no surprise to the shapeshifter. He didn't really like the idea of using the human as bait but it seemed to be the best idea he had. “I know this sounds dangerous and it is. You don't have to worry though, I promise I will not let you get killed if we go through with this. The choice is yours to make though, if you don't want to take the chance we can come up with something else. Maybe if we can some how convince Raum that I am one of your master's new pets I can replace your role as bait. She seemed interested in me enough that it could be a possible scenario he'd buy. Or we can brainstorm something else. We have all night to figure this out. What do you two think?”

Azazel took a moment away and surveyed the reactions from the boys. Azazel chuckled that Loki never heard of this place. He wasn't surprised. Only those with a ton of power, reputation or money could stayed here. It was for the underworld of New Orlands. and it took Azazel some many years to get here. The Devil's Godsend. That stupid nickname of the fallen angel. Oh how the mighty have fallen so much. Azazel scoff to himself, bringing himself back to reality. He look at the human's face. Quiet, obedient and scared outta his mind at the present situation. It was really entertaining to watch how this human was reacting to everything. Azazel believed that the kid deserved this. In order to see the error of his ways for giving his soul up to a demon. The pitiful fool that wanted to serve a demon willingly is just as foolish as one was tricked into servitude. " Relax Eugene. I rather not pay for you wetting the room. This place does cost money." Azazel said as he motioned with his fingers by rubbing them together. The angel, in his way, was trying to lighten the mood up a bit.
Azazel turned his attention to Loki who was hot and ready with a plan. "Yeah, the laptops are fine. No one would be stupid enough to go against the rules in bugging the room at all." Azazel said as he grabbed himself something to drink. It had been a long day and it was about to get into the meat and gritty. Azazel noticed that the kid seem to get extremely happy about his idea. It was to use the human as a bait. It was a way to level the battlefield between them and all of the opposition that stood before them. Raum had two bodyguards and his power to manipulate the shadows was a test itself to deal with. The idea wasn't bad at all. Eugene would go in blind but Azazel and Loki could get close to the objective and take out Raum. But the possibility of Eugene getting hurt somehow was up in the air. And he didn't seem to go well with the plan at all. It made him pale as a ghost. Loki kept going with his idea. "You're right the kid is very valuable to that demon. And Raum wouldn't think twice of snagging him up if he could." Azazel said, taking a sip from his drink before putting it down and continued. " However, the possibility of a counter is still up. And might not be beneficial for us if Eugene gets a single scratch on him."
It would seem that Loki thought of another alternative as Azazel finishing talking. He volunteered himself to become a part of the bait. Azazel's eyes widen a bit but he thought back about the demon talking about getting a replacement for her shapeshifter. It wasn't a bad ploy to bring into this situation. She needed a new shifter and Loki was the closest thing they could get now. " Not bad kid, not bad at all," Azazel ruffling Loki's head a bit before getting up. He stood over Eugene and stared him down. " You think you can man up for me and understand this role. Your master is looking for a new shapeshifter pet which happens to be Loki. We gonna have it be like you're picking up her new plaything." Azazel's eyes changed a bit as he spoke. " This plan has to work. If you don't man up, your master would be grave danger more. Now man up Eugene!" Azazel said with vigor in his voice. He was trying to hype the kid up, hopefully it would work. The only thing Azazel could think of that would help was to mention the boy's master. To much of the fallen angel's dismay.

“Good.” Loki said with a smile as he turned the laptop on. Azazel's word was good enough to make him trust the security around this place. So long as he was sure that no information would get leaked he could do the research that he needed to get his plan in motion. What was his plan? Well, he was about to go into it. The plan itself was simplistic but would be no where near easy to pull off. Judging from what he could see if they were going to do their job and well they needed to isolate Raum from his guards and take him to a controlled location to finish him off. It would take a lot of work to actually pull it off. They needed to figure out what location they would bring him to first, in order to trap him in there they would need to bind him, since Loki didn't have magic he'd have to rely on warding to do that, but the wardings couldn't be in effect until Raum was lured into the area first or else this couldn't work. That part was going to be tricky, but he could see what kind of wardings he could do that would mesh well with his plan. The guards were going to be an issue too unless he could find a plan to help keep them distracted, besides all of that he needed a way to somehow lure their prime target into their trap first. For that they needed some kind of bait to lure him in. During the ride here Loki had come up with two scenarios.
The first one was to use Eugene as bait. That first idea for the luring portion of the plan was the best idea he could think of in a practical sense. Eugene for one reason or another was important to their client, it was rather obvious within the first few minutes seeing the two interact. If he could see it then Raum, who knew Lili for much longer than Loki had would know that too. Raum would want this human, and if Loki's intuition was right he would want to kill the boy with his own two hands rather than let some goon on his payroll do it. This plan obviously had its risks. There was a chance that Eugene would get hurt, or at worse get killed in the process. Loki wasn't blind to that outcome, he would have to prepare in order to decrease the chance of that happening. But he needed to get everyone on board with that plan first.
Things didn't look too promising for that idea judging from the reaction it received. Loki wasn't the least bit surprised that Eugene seemed really nervous about the prospect of getting into harms way. Eugene struck him as the shy, cowardly type to begin with. But with a few honeyed words and patience he could be won over. Loki hated to be so manipulative, it reminded him too much about the kinds of things he had to do for his father's sake but if it meant getting the job done with as little risk of danger to his friend as possible he would do it. One way or another he could get Eugene to come around. But what about Azazel? The angel seemed to be thinking over the plan. He admitted that the plan had its merits but he was worried about the risk it would bring to the boy they were charged to protect.
Good thing Loki had a back up plan. The little shifter wasn't as confident on how this one would turn out but if they played their cards right they could get it to work. Lili had shown far too much interest in him that it would be hard for someone to just ignore the possibility that the demoness would want him as her new pet. She probably had more shapeshifters under her thumb in the past before the last one that had passed away. If that was something anyone would expect from her then he could convince Raum to target him. That meant he would be putting his own life in danger but there was a better chance that he could find a way to weasel his way out of it than Eugene could. Both guys seemed shocked by that suggestion but Azazel seemed more comfortable with that suggestion than the previous one. Loki purred a little when Azazel gave him a quick pat on the head before the angel turned on Eugene.
Eugene couldn't believe what he was hearing. The shapeshifter's plan had sounded so dangerous that he couldn't help but stand there in shock, unable to respond at first. Eugene was a coward, he knew it and despite the shame he felt in admitting it he would never deny it. The thought that he might mess up and get himself killed scared him. But the more he thought about it he understood why they should go with it. Raum wasn't the kind of man that would be easily fooled into falling into some kind of trap, they needed someone that could bring him out in the open, and who better than himself? Raum had gone out of his way to capture and kill Stripes so he would definitely come after him. It was a dangerous plan, it might even get him killed but he should give it a shot right? He tried to say something but before he could agree to use himself as bait the fallen angel shot the idea down. When that happened the shifter suggested that he take that role instead. A new wave of terror washed over the human. All the fear he had felt for his own safety changed to concern for L's. Eugene might have been afraid for his own life, but the thought of having someone else risk their own life in his place somehow always felt worse to him.
“You can't....” the words left the boy's mouth before he could think to stop himself. He wanted to tell them he would take the risk himself but the others already fell in agreement with one another. Devil's Godsend was already telling him what he wanted him to do. They were going to be angry with him now if he protested now weren't they? L was already looking at him a little confused. “What do you mean can't? Do you think I can't pull it off?” the blonde boy asked, his tone sounded more curious than angry but that didn't stop Eugene from lowering his gaze out of shame.
“N-not exactly...” he stammered. “Mistress Lili is known to have a certain...fondness for certain types of shapeshifters...” Eugene forced himself to look Loki over. On the surface the shapeshifter did seem to fit Lili's type. He had been around enough shapeshifters to tell which ones were feline in nature. He already suspected that L was some kind of cat, his eyes and the way he carried hinted towards that, and the purring had been a dead giveaway. “She likes cat types, the more exotic the better....you are a cat...that much I can tell but...” A part of him really hoped that the shifter wasn't anything like what his mistress would want just so he could tell him to forget about the whole thing. But when Eugene met L's eyes the other boy just smiled at him.
“Then I definitely can pull this off.” L said much to his dismay. “I don't know what humans would call my breed but I am a wild cat. Even among shapeshifters my particular breed is rare. We are teetering on the edge of extinction.” He quickly explained to the angel. “As an added bonus I am special around my race because I am one of the few purebloods left. That's more than enough to count as exotic right?”
“...I suppose...I can work with that but...what you are planning is extremely dangerous...I know I asked you two to help my mistress but you don't have to risk doing this...I can try to be the bait instead. I don't want to just stand around uselessly while you two risk your lives...”

It always amazed the fallen angel how the shifter came up with plans so easily. Azazel just used his body and threw him in the face of battle without any plans. Azazel just could to do that so easily because it was how things were in heaven. Time as a angel above, it was always about doing things alone for each angel. Azazel would be his thing while his brothers and sisters did their own as well. Only when it came to it did his family could help him. But usually a angel could handle things by themselves. If they couldn't, they were seen as a weakling, a pushover or something that would never be a threat against all kinds of evil. It was a harsh environment but thank God Azazel was far from weak. He proved that time after time in heaven of how much he can be in the line of duty and righteous. He was up there on the status of the elite. Never mentioned until his fall. It was a big deal when the name of the fallen angel was considered something. But that would be another story to talk about another time. Now it was time to focus on the situation on hand with these two boys and a demon whose after another in a conquest of power. Typical demon stuff. Still made the fallen angel laugh about the situation. Oh how much he wonder how his fallen brother handle all of the deceit from his kind.
Loki had a plan about using bait. It was a good one. But Azazel knew that one of the present party wouldn't agree with it. Eugene the human look like he was about to wet himself any moment now. What a pain. Azazel knew things about this while the human was in presence. The guy wasn't bad but man was he becoming something very useless. Him being terrified of everything when it comes to action happening. He was starting to get on the angel's nerves. For everything Azazel had to consider how the human would've felt and of course he didn't agree with strategies given to him.
Always questioning what he believes isn't great or a fool-proof plan. Risks were going to be made against someone of the caliber of Raum. Why? Because he has the intend to kill the human's demon mistress and take over the city. If the fate of the city were to rest on the heads over an angel and shifter. Then so be it, it has to be faith that have led them to this event. This led the angel to stand over him. "Look, it doesn't help you being all negative about our plan. Loki's plan is going to work. Why? Because I believe in him and willing to help make it work." Azazel's eyes flash some again, meaning his anger was rising some. I get that you want to help, but think about what you can do. Think real long and hard about it. Then tell us about it so you don't feel in any way useless."
Azazel crack his neck as he turn to Loki. " Loki you alright with being bait, its gonna be weird of course but we still have that trick I haven't used in a while." Azazel was referring his teleport power. In the past months, he hadn't had to use any of his Grace against anyone lately so it should be fine. Hopefully it would be ok for him to use it without any side effects which plagued him like really bad cancer. He smirk some as he knew that if trouble happened he could get a signal from the kid and be there as always. Azazel directed his attention to the human with a scowl all over his face. He was all for the human to help him but he didn't want Eugene to feel inadequate. "So..," Azazel lean down to the kid's face. " Have you thought about what you want to do to help?"

It was a good thing that Azazel decided to drag Loki along with him when he accepted this job. The fallen angel might be the strongest person Loki had ever met, but he wasn't the most clever one. That wasn't to say that Loki thought that Azazel was dumb. He was far from being stupid, the man had common sense, and enough street smarts to handle himself in ways the little shifter couldn't. But when it came to fighting he didn't think much beyond what was happening in the moment. Most of Azazel's fights came down to who was stronger than who. Being as powerful as the angel was he usually won those fights. It didn't matter if he didn't plan ahead on what he could do to win the fight, or if he should learn his opponents weaknesses before hand, he didn't even worry about the times he got so wrapped up in his own bloodlust that he ended up toying with his enemies before dealing the final blow. He just did what he did and that was fine. That was not the kind of attitude that he needed with a guy like Raum. One false move and he would learn the hard way what defeat tasted like.
That was where Loki came in. The little shifter had never been raised as a warrior. He was taught (rather harshly) at an early age that he should never be a warrior. His place wasn't on the battlefield with a sword in his hands like his dead brothers. His strength laid within his ability to think and plan. He was taught how to make others fight for him, and plan out the best ways to make those with the muscle to do so carry out his goals while ensuring the least amount of causalities on his side as possible. This wasn't his home world, he didn't have an army to fight for him, or a more honorable cause to fight for like defending his people or his family name, but he had his brains. That was enough for him to come up with a plan. All that was left was to get everyone else on board with it. Azazel was all for it but Eugene didn't like it. Strange...Loki expected the human boy to be against risking his own neck for this plan, which was why he gave them another option. Surely the human would have less of an issue with the plan if he wouldn't be the one in danger. It looked like Loki was wrong though. Eugene was more vocal about his rejection to the second plan than he was about the first one. At first Loki thought the human thought he wouldn't be able to convince Raum, but then when the human tried to convince them to go back to the first plan it dawned on him. The boy didn't want one of them to sacrifice themselves in his place.
Maybe this human was braver than he thought he was. He had to hand it to the boy he had heart and enough guts to put himself at risk but that wasn't going to do them any good. Azazel was right, it was too much of a gamble to use Eugene as the bait. If the kid got hurt in the process they could end up losing the extra cash, besides, it would weight on Loki's conscious if the human got hurt. Loki watched as Azazel talked the human boy down. Eugene might not be a complete coward but he still didn't have enough balls to really argue with the angel. Eugene's gaze fell to the floor as Azazel spoke down to him. “I-I'm sorry.” the boy apologized immediately. “It's not that I don't believe it won't work...it can...but...if something bad were to happen what happens to him?”
“If something bad happens I will deal with it.” Loki replied flatly. He understood the human's concerns but he didn't have a lot of time to convince him that he could handle it on his own. “I might not look like it but I have dealt with my share of demons in the past.” Not all that well he omitted that thought in his answer. Since coming to New Orlands Loki had his run ins with a few demons. He had bumped into the hellhound Guillotine more than once, half of those instances even Azazel didn't know about. The first time the beast had tried to kill him Loki didn't know how to fight. The only thing that he could do was take advantage of his agility and his power to shapeshift to keep himself alive before Azazel could come to save him. Then there was the time he had to distract a demon to keep it away from Blake when she went to recover Stevie. He had upped his arsenal by then and was just starting his training, but that didn't stop the demon from thrashing the poor boy around enough to give him a concussion afterwords. Could he really face Raum if things came down to that? Loki didn't know for sure, he didn't have the best luck when it came to fighting demons, and Raum was really strong as far as demon kind were concerned, but the shifter had learned a lot after the battles he did have. He wasn't going to be so easy to kill.
“I don't have holy powers like Grif here does, or any kind of special powers beyond my animal form, but I have enough skills with a blade to be able to handle myself. All of my weapons are coated in holy oil which will give a nice little sting to even the most powerful demon. I'll have to look into poisons that might work on his bodyguards since they aren't demonic but either way I should be fine. I can do this so stop worrying.” Loki turned his attention back to Azazel when the angel spoke to him, telling him that he could use his teleportation trick to bring Raum out in the open. The thought had occurred to him to use that move when he was coming up with his plan but he shook his head when Azazel offered to use it. “I would like to use it as a last resort if possible. Your trick would make bringing him where we want a lot easier but toll it will take on you would give him a temporary advantage that we don't need to throw his way. Save your strength for the fight, let me handle the delivery.”
When Azazel spoke to the human this time the kid's demeanor seemed to have changed. He looked more determined this time around which brought a little smile to Loki's face. “If you really want to go through with this I can help get Raum to focus his attention on L...” The human's gaze turned to Loki's for a moment before he spoke again. “You said you want to put some wardings up to help limit his power. Its a lot harder to put up powerful wardings and activate them without any holy or magical power....I might not look like it but am a warlock...I'm...still a little green. My mistress offered to find someone I could trust to help train me if I wanted...I haven't taken that offer up yet but I still have enough power and knowledge to help you set things up and activate the barrier when the time comes...”

Azazel's eyes reverted back to normal as he accepted the kid's apology. And to comfort him as he did with Loki many times. He ruffled the kid's hair and gave him the one in a million smile Azazel has given before. "Like Loki said, don't worry. He has been through enough with demons and me to be prepared on this. Have some faith even if you gave your soul to that demon." Azazel did he best to comfort the guy without sounding too harsh. But Azazel was never shy to lay the truth out about something he didn't like or he felt like it needed to come out. It was an angel type of thing. That many wouldn't understand over get if they ever could. Despite everything was going on, he was just happy nothing happened as of now to both of the kids. Eugene was a human and a meal ticket for the two but still a kid. And Loki was the angel's cherish friend so if anything happened Azazel would be in heartache regardless.
Azazel look over at Loki and saw his face after mentioning using his Grace for the mission. He could feel Loki's concern about him using some of his Grace in helping them with their current situation. Loki knew the last time Azazel used his grace. It temporary disabled him and led to him getting injured by the hellhound. But for a second he was on brink of meeting his maker once again but as a spirit from the shell of what he was now. He didn't want Loki to feel responsible if he used that ability of his. It was his choice to use it when the time comes. But Azazel accepted that and agreed with the shapeshifter that must be used at crucial situation when the time comes. " So what's my position suppose to be? To wait around here or be close nearby in the area?" Azazel asked as the kid never specify about what he wanted the angel to do. He knew it wasn't best for an angel to be on the front line unless it was for some sort of action. Azazel was always on the mentality of fighting to the bitter end without any problem. It was his plan for almost every fight he had done up till now. He did the stealth thing like this before. Which ended up in him reverting back to his old ways and proving his dominance over the fools that were the target. He smirk to himself at the thought of the good ol' times. But now was the time to actually develop a plan of attack and guarantee a win for sure. But with his position looming over his head, Azazel simply let Loki take control as the head of the operations. Even if it was just for this one time and one time only.
Eugene seem to have gain a bit of self esteem over the time spent in the room. Talking about what he can do and contribute to the plan so it can work. It made Azazel smile some as he patted the kid's shoulder with a grin across his face. "See kid, that positive energy is rubbing off on ya. You're actually contributing to this." He look over to Loki who was making all this great steps to his plan. The little bugger was a becoming a great tactician when it came to stuff like this. It seem magic, luck and faith was shining on them and boy was the angel happy about this. Raum won't know what hit him.
