Eugene was starting to man up now which earned him not just a bit of Loki's respect, but earned him a bit of respect from Azazel as well. Loki smiled when he saw Azazel ruffle the human's hair. Even Eugene looked a little pleased with himself to be receive such treatment. The angel might not approve of the human selling himself to a demon but he had a big enough soft spot for younger beings to not hold the boy's decisions against him. It was hard to really hate Eugene, he came off as shy and cowardly but he wasn't an asshole. He had a good heart, and now it looked like when push came to shove he was willing to help out in any way that he could. He was way more useful than Loki had thought. The shifter knew he could at the very least rely on the human to help him get Raum's attention but he hadn't expected that he was a warlock too. So this is why Lili has an invested interest in his safety... Loki was still very curious about the demon and human's relationship. It was obvious that there was something going on between them. Lili seemed fond of Eugene but was that fondness just an illusion or genuine? Azazel might assume it was all fake but Loki knew from experience that even demons were capable of love. This bit of news at least gave the theory that it was all a lie a possibility.
Loki wondered what Eugene would think about all of this if he could hear what he was thinking. Maybe when they had time he could ask him. Now was not the right time, there was a lot of things they needed to do to get this plan of his into action. Azazel didn't waste time in asking about one of the things Loki had yet to address. Loki thought on that question for a moment. “You should be nearby the area we will set the trap by, depending on the wardings we will use once its activated it will create a barrier that will trap Raum, and anyone else within it inside till the fight is over. If we want him dead we can't risk having you outside it when its triggered.” That unfortunately meant that if something went wrong on Loki's end Azazel wouldn't be able to help him out. There were not a lot of signals the boy could give that Azazel could see if he was preoccupied in another area. That would just have to be something that he would have to deal with on his own. “Since Eugene is the only one with magical power he will be the one to activate the wards so he will have to be by your side too.” Loki was more than well aware that by keeping both men at a distance he was really putting himself at risk but he didn't see any other option given their plan. He wasn't entirely hopeless though, he knew he needed to give them some indication as to what was going on whether he succeeded or not. He had the right people in mind for the job, and provided that everything went well he would have the money to pay them for it. “I will have to ask some of my fellow co-workers to help keep a watch over the situation and tell you two what is going as things go down. If that is alright with you.” Loki looked to Azazel as he said this. The people he had in mind were other shapeshifters he recruited to help him with his information gathering. He knew them well enough to trust them with this, and he was planning to pay them with his own share of the profits as well, but he still needed to make sure his partner was cool with it. “The next order of business is figuring out where we are laying down this trap. Eugene.” Loki turned to the human. “Do you think if you can leak out information about me to Raum that we can get him to come to us?”
“I'm pretty sure, yeah.” Eugene nodded. “But if you want a good place to trap him we would need somewhere big and secluded...” Eugene paused to think for a minute, like Loki he probably saw the problem that he ran into. There were not a lot of places that fit that description, what they needed was an abandoned building somewhere in the city, but where could they find one that fit their needs? “How about a warehouse? Mistress Lili was looking into buying a few old buildings to use for business so I already have a list of the ones not in use.”
“Perfect, pick out a few of the ones nearby and give their addresses to Griffin. Then get started on leaking that false info out to Raum so we can bait him towards us.” Loki turned his attention back to Azazel, he was in full business mode now. “Grif, I want you to go to those warehouses and check out which ones you think would be best for this fight, and see if there is any security. I will look on what we need to set up the barrier. When Grif returns the two of us will go and get the place ready. Does that sound good to the rest of you?”

With Eugene finally contributing to the mission, things seem to be a bit too easy-going for them at the moment. At least that was what Azazel had thought of when he saw everything unfold. It wasn't anything negative. If it was, Azazel who be consider a hypocrite for what he said to the human kid just a while ago. However, Azazel held his tongue and allowed his mind to wander off a bit. The kid was surprisingly a good warlock who knew the basics when it came to performing magic and such. Very convenient for them in which when the wards were needed it would help get the demon. Raum was gonna be hard to deal true but with a fair amount of magic. For a second there something clicked in the fallen angel's head. Lili, the human's demon mistress, wanted us to protect the kid no matter what. Was this the reason that she cared so much beside the whole master-pet thing. Is this kid that powerful? Azazel recall that Eugene consider himself to be a bit new to casting magic. Hell, he seem like a newbie to the scene entirely. So its hard to swallow that information down with a grain of salt. This kid had to be something special instead of just some random, run of the mill, lackey. Azazel snapped back to reality as Loki began telling him what was the angel's mission. But before Loki could speak, Azazel had to get that off his chest.
"Sorry for prying Eugene but umm," Azazel was being very timid about this. He wasn't sure if he was gonna spark the kid into being out of his wits or something far worse. Whatever it was, it would be seen as bad to the kid. The angel was curious and it was gnawing at him like a dog with a bone. " Why did you give your soul to Lili? Or better yet why are you so devoted to her? I'm curious really. You have the right to decline my question and be quiet. Again I apologize in advance." Azazel did it, something as tedious and small wasn't worth making a big deal about. Plus if the kid answer him or not, its a small matter that if the kid doesn't answer. Azazel would find out why soon or later. But Azazel directed his attention to Loki. Who was saying that Azazel would be kept on guard duty for Eugene. Just when it was getting good with action and suspense. Oh well Azazel was fine with it and responded," Alright, I'll keep watch over the guy." However the thought of Loki being completely on his own, made the fallen angel worry a bit. Sure, Loki has proved time and time again that he's able to do a lot by himself. He even devised this entire plan by himself in a short amount of time and energy. Yet however, they were about to put it all into action. Azazel thought of something in case the kid could call him if things went bad quick. Sadly nothing could pop in the head of the fallen angel. Azazel would have to just pray for him to be fine out there. Azazel reached over, thought as always, and gave the kid a small pat on the head to reassure things would be alright as always. Seem like it has been tradition for them to do this kind of thing. And the situation just seem like it was best for it.
After Loki and Eugene got done talking, it seem the kid had more for Azazel to do in prepping the operation. Oh joy, Azazel thought to himself. He was to go and check out the warehouse and look around for things such as security, if it was best and points for the wards. Sounds easy enough for the angel to do. It just gonna be a pain not having his wings at the moment. Kinda easier to travel than heading there by foot. Yet there was a car outside that belong to them for the time being. Azazel smiled to himself at that thought. Maybe this could be a bit enjoyable. " Fine by me, well I'm gonna out there. See you boys in a few. Just yell if anything happens." Azazel said as he grabbed his jacket, heading outside to the car. He greeted the desk attendant on his way out. Before getting in the car, he check around to make sure he wasn't being watched. Everything seem clear to him. So He went and met up with the driver and told him to head to the location that Eugene had gave to him. On the ride there, he asked if any word been spread about Raum. He talks a little bit about it but all nonsense or what the angel has already heard. Azazel shrugged it off and ordered to the driver to take him to the location. It was time for business.

Things were really coming together much to everyones surprise. L had a plan on how the three of them would do things, and now everyone was falling into line to bring this plan to fruition. Even Eugene was starting to step up for this. It had to be surprising for these two that he was starting to cooperate so easily with this. He couldn't blame them for thinking that way. Eugene was a wreck, he was always so nervous and so easily scared most of the time that it was a wonder that he was able to do anything at all. But when Eugene set his heart and mind to something he could be really productive. It was a secret trait of his that surprised even him at times. It helped him fill his role as his mistress servant better than anyone else in her service and hopefully now it would help him assist these two in their goals. They might come from different lifestyles, had different points of view, and were going at this mission for different reasons but they all wanted the same thing. They wanted Raum dead. For that he was willing to help them at any cost. He wanted to protect his mistress somehow, and after spending some time with L and the angel called Griffin he wanted to help protect them in his own way too. He still didn't like the risks L was going to take for all of this. He knew that they needed to have some kind of lure to bring Raum where they needed him, he knew that they didn't want to use him as the bait thanks to his mistress's orders, but the idea that L might get hurt because he took his place worried him more than he worried for his own safety with this plan. Eugene might be a coward, but he was too kind hearted to stand by and let someone else get hurt without doing something. He didn't want the shifter to do this, but there was little he could do to stop it. So he swallowed his fears and agreed to help out. If he could do his part hopefully nothing bad would happen to these two. He had to be brave and do whatever these men needed him to do, that was what his mistress told him to do.
While Eugene was busy thinking about how he could approach this information leaking portion of his task Griffin asked him about how he came under mistress Lili's service. The boy looked a little taken aback by that question. It was rare for anyone to ask him such a thing. Most people never really cared to, especially demons. Demons didn't seem curious at all why he still had his soul despite making a contract with his master, most of those she associated with already knew that she rarely reaped the souls of those she made deals with right away. But Griffin and L were not demons, they weren't a part of his world so maybe they cared enough about about a doomed human to ask this. “Its okay I don't mind you asking...it might be a long story to explain though I'm sorry.” the boy replied before trying to find the words to explain his reasons for being the way he was. “If I had to sum up the reason why I care about her a big part of it is who she is and what she's done for me. The reason why I came under her service is the same reason why I am still alive today. She saved me.” It was so strange having to talk about his past, especially with an angel. He was sure Griffin would hate him before he even met him. Humans that willingly sold their souls to demons had to be such disgusting creatures. Would Griffin think of him the same way when he was done?
“I used to be a part of a coven, an organized group of fellow witches and warlocks.” Eugene explained. “Not all covens are the same, depending on their founding and size they can have different rules and customs. The one I was born into was a smaller branch made up mostly by members in my families line. The strongest witch or warlock from my bloodline are always chosen to lead the coven when the previous passed on. Before I was born the strongest two were my father and uncle. They had always been rivals and very close in terms of power, but when the time came for a new leader to step forth my father won. My uncle always hated him and had been planning for a long time to find some way to kill my father so he could take over. But when I was born he had to change his plans. I was young and untrained but I was showing signs that I could be stronger than both my uncle and my father combined...I dont' know how much of was true but it was enough so that even if my uncle killed my father the rest of the coven would rally behind me and put me in power once I came of age. So he decided to go after me to...he killed my father...and to ensure that no one could try and challenge his rule he tried to bind a demon to his will, he intended to use me, my mother, and my baby sister as sacrifices to seal the deal.”
“But during the start of the ritual I was able to mess with the wardings, not enough to stop him from summoning the demon but enough that he wouldn't have complete control over it. That's when Lili came. He couldn't fully bind her thanks to what I had done, but she was trapped too unless she made the choice to make a pact with someone to complete the ritual to free herself. While my uncle raged she turned to me and asked me if I wanted to make a pact with her. When my uncle threatened to kill us all I didn't hesitate to exchange my soul for my family's safety. At that point I had accepted my faith, no matter what I did I thought I would die but if I made the pact with her I could at least save my mother and sister. She killed him for me...but when I thought she was going to take my soul she didn't. She told me that she wouldn't take my soul until it was my time to pass on, but until that time I would have to stay by her side.” He had been terrified of her at first back then. Even as a child he had known enough about demons to know that they are all dangerous and deceitful. He had still been grateful that she had helped him, but he didn't think that she did it out of kindness. “It would be a lie to say I wasn't still scared, or that I thought she wasn't just keeping me around to use me somehow but the longer I stayed with her the less suspicious I became. Mistress Lili is very different from other demons. She is still fierce and dangerous when she needs to be but she can be surprisingly gentle and kind. She never harmed me after she took me in, she made sure I was well cared for despite me being a servant. Once another demon had hit me because I accidentally spilled some tea on them and she ripped their arm off and kicked them out of her house for doing that. What really changed my mind was when I found out after our pact she had secretly given large sums of money to my mother so she and my sister would be financially taken care of. All our pact stated was that she had to save my family from my uncle. The fact she could do something like that when she doesn't have to meant more to me than she would ever know. Thats why I care so much about her.”
