Izzy felt horrible she realized just how much of a jerk she was being to the male. She took a deep breath. "Look I get that not everyone's the same, I've been through some pretty bad stuff myself. I don't shun ever creature who had one or two of their kind who did me wrong. Yes, I have more of a human mind, and I don't guess I realized just how much more your like a wolf. Some days I wish I was you, no job, no living in the city with constant noise, just being in the peaceful woods. That isn't me but I wish it was," She said, her eyes bright with honesty. She honestly knew that the woods were where wolves belonged but she was being completely honest when she said that she was more human.
She was being just as much of a jerk as the male was and he was being a pretty big one. When she stopped to think about it from his perspective, she was being pretty bad. If she was this wolf she wouldn't want to be around her either. She took a deep breath and calmed down, two strong headed wolves never got anywhere.
When she saw what it was she stopped growling completely. It was a dragon, but it was so tiny. It was actually cute with beautiful coloring and everything. Rose just stood there, a little calmer after she was no longer being growled at but still a little to scared to move. She was also a little curious, if these two moved she would have to take to the trees and follow them. The trees would provide cover and she was so small that the two wolves wouldn't see her on such a dark night, hopefully.
"I don't feel the best about saying that, you aren't bothering anyone really so I doubt I'd be able to get any help. I'd be out here on my own still, unless someone personally wanted to help me but that isn't likely any more," She said as she followed the limping wolf turned man. "Ya know I don't want to kill you, I won't openly attack or kill anyone unless I'm attacked first. I really don't want a fight, I have no reason to kill you or hurt you in anyway, no reason to take anything from you, just why else would I want to try and stick this out other than to get it through your skull that I only wanted the best for you and to be you friend? Can you think of a reason?" She asked, kinda curious as to why he though she would want to hurt him at all. She only threatened him because she was getting tired of putting up with him and wanted to get him to realize that she would have hurt him if she wanted already and that it would be relatively easy to track him down if she left and came back later.

Kiba was fed up with this female werewolf and her antics. From the very beginning she had gotten on his nerves. That statement on its own didn't say much given his past experiences when encountering other beings. Everyone he met always got under his skin. But this one had managed to irritate him more than most in such a short span of time. It was the ignorance that did it for him. Kiba had no idea where this female got the idea that he would ever want her friendship. He had given up even trying to be a part of a normal pack long ago, and his long life of solitude had dulled any social skills he had left when he had been nothing more than a normal wolf made him more wary when he did have to deal with others that he was more likely to chase others away than want to get closer to them. She didn't know that of course, but she didn't know anything about him to warrant her assumptions. If anything though he didn't explain the reasoning behind his aggression he made it abundantly clear what he thought on the subject. But her ignorance and complete disregard for anyone else's feelings other than her own brought all of this on.
Perhaps she was starting to see where she had went wrong here? What she said next was hinting at that, though her choice in words made it sound more like she was trying to defend her actions than reflect on her faults. She claimed that she knew that not everyone was the same when it came to other species. She didn't assume that the wrong actions of a few reflected on all of their kind. “But you don't apply the same logic if one or two of them seem friendly.” he growled back. “For all your talk you still make stupid assumptions.” It was the same kind of stupid thinking he saw in a lot of humans and those that were still partially human. When he called her out on that he had meant it more of an insult than a fact. But insult or not it was true. She was human at heart and she even admitted to it. He flinched and looked away when she said she only just now realized that he was more wolf in his way of thinking. Those words...they were like a hard slap in the face for him. They were just another reminder that he didn't belong anywhere. Was he so far gone that he wasn't seen as a wolf anymore? What was he?
Another growl passed his lips as she continued to speak. He didn't want to plunge himself in even more self pity tonight thinking about that, so instead he chose to fuel his frustrations on the werewolf's ignorance. “Peaceful woods? With thoughts like that you could never be like me no matter how much you wish it.” he replied. “Are you so blind that you can't see that life in the wild isn't some peaceful easy life that you think it is? I don't live here to sleep all day and do nothing. I have to hunt in order to survive, compete with other creatures just to have a place to call my own for however long I can keep it, every day is a fight for survival. No forest is peaceful or safe just like no human area is.” The world was a cruel place, there was beauty in it but to ignore the ugly side was foolish. How did she not see that? She did have a human side but the fact she was not fully human, and probably had been out here in the forest more than once he would have thought she would not be so blind.
The presence of the lizard creature brought a brief moment of relief for the male. It was a momentary break from the depressing and tense atmosphere that he was being sucked into. It also gave him the moment he needed to end this. He was done, he was too drained mentally and physically to deal with this anymore. Forcing himself onto his feet Kiba announced he was leaving. There was no point in trying to sneak away, with the way he had to drag himself forward there was no way to try and silence his footsteps. She would hear him leave and follow him. Much like she did now when he tried to leave. Big surprise there. The werewolf was far from making him suffer. All his pleas for solitude had fallen on deaf ears. She would still bother him. But she was trying to take back all the threats she had thrown at him earlier. Whether out of guilt, or the realization that her threats were getting her no where he wasn't certain.
“If you don't want to fight then why are you still following me?” he asked. She could take back all her threats if she wanted but that didn't mean he was going to take back his. He had said all he needed to say about his intentions. If she didn't leave him alone before sunrise he would attack her as soon as he could. It seemed like the only way he was going to get her to leave him alone for good at this point so he would have to do it. It was all a matter of timing. If he could last that long that was. His body was still in a lot of pain. It hurt to move, it made him feel nauseous too, not to mention tired. What he needed now was sleep but he couldn't risk sleeping in this female's presence. He didn't know what she might do to him the second that he closed his eyes. The werewolf seemed to be following the same train of thought as he was. As she went on about how she wasn't going to hurt him she asked him why he thought she would.
“Do I need to know why you or anyone might want to harm me to know that you might?” he snorted at the thought. “No, I don't. I don't know the reason why some human killed my packmates, my mate, and our pups, captured me, and turned me into this to know that it happened, and that I am stuck like this. I didn't know why humans attack me when they see me in their area, or come to the forest just to chase me down and kill me. I don't know why other creatures have tried to either kill me or use me for their own personal gain but it has happened before.” Kiba shivered as he stumbled along. He had forgotten how cold it could be at nights like this when he no longer had any fur to keep him a little warm. He already missed his den, after a few days when he would be stuck in the human cities trying to move on to a better place he would miss this forest too. “I don't need to know what is going on in your mind to be suspicious. All I need to know is what I see. What I see is a stupid human masquerading as a wolf, who thinks she knows better than I do, making demands out of me that I can not fulfill for very stupid reasons if those reasons are even true. Instead of asking me why I don't trust you why don't you tell me why I should even risk trusting you in the first place.”

She wasn't trying to be annoying or really to anything, this was just the way she was. She was somewhat oblivious to the way a wolf would think since she was more human than wolf and her wolf senses and temperament had been dulled even more by living with humans and other supernaturals who had jobs and acted like she did.
"I'm finding that out more and more, if you get through this night alive I'll try to never run into you again with no promises of course. I tend to find supernaturals more than I care to and somehow I usually find the unfriendly ones," She said as she rolled her eyes.
"I know the woods aren't completely peaceful, I had to live here some when I first come to this world, I know it's a fight. It's better than getting a headache everyday by an impatient driver that you happen to be by their car or people yelling down the street. It's a lot quieter out here minus the occasional gun shot. I got in fights, I got grazed by bullets when I got a little to close to the human towns in wolf form. Believe me I know it's hard, it's no good thing when you can't hunt because you were hurt by something in your leg, hip, or shoulder and it hurts to move. It sucks, but I admire the forest for the natural quiet that is seldom broken by all that noise," She sad as she looked up at the male. She had already admitted that she was more human but she had a point, she didn't ignore the bad she just focused more on the good.
Rose was following slowly, keeping just close enough as she flew from tree to tree that she could hear. In all honesty Izzy knew she was following but Izzy kept quiet giving the small dragon the benefit of the doubt. Rose didn't know Izzy could tell though so she just kept as silent as possible as she flew from branch to branch in the trees over head.
"Honestly? Because it's nice to have someone to be with, even a stubborn wolf who argues all the time. I had a pack before I came here believe it or not and I left it to get some new experiences but I sometimes miss contact with other wolf supernaturals," She said, giving him a reason that indirectly gave him the reason she had been saying the whole time, that she wanted him as a friend.
"W-what?" She asked utterly speechless. She took a moment to compose her thoughts. "T-that's horrible," Her heart utterly went out to this wolf who literally had everything ripped away from him. She chose to leave her pack but even then she knew they were safe, if she knew they were killed or dead, she shivered at the thought.

“There is no if. I have survived worse conditions than this before. Unless you plan to rip my throat out I will continue to live.” Kiba replied. The former wolf didn't have a lot going for him but he did have a knack for surviving despite the odds stacked against him. There were times that he questioned why he was even still alive. The moment that he had been cursed his life had been ruined. Was there any point in living anymore? Perhaps not. Kiba didn't know, there were times that he really didn't want to know. Instinct was the only thing that kept him going when the hope that maybe he might find a way to free himself of this dreaded curse that befell him had long since vanished. He didn't have much hope that he could be rid of his curse but perhaps he could be rid of this one annoyance. The werewolf claimed that after tonight she would try to avoid him from now on. He couldn't be sure if that statement was true or not but that didn't change the fact that he had lost his den. He had one too many encounters with intruders in his den on the night of his turning for him to risk staying another night. If he could get rid of this female tonight he would not risk going back to wait out the moon's cycle.
Where would he go though? For now he would have to take the risk of going back into the human city if he wanted to make his way out of this area entirely. That would not be a pleasant time for him. Human cities were far too dangerous for the likes of him to venture into, and the food supply was far too scarce for him to survive on. There were trash cans to scavenge from, but with all the attention he grabbed trying to do that, and the sheer amount of food he needed to consume on a daily basis just to stay healthy he was bound to starve quickly. Just thinking about it made him frown but he didn't have much of a choice. The only problem was the werewolf. With the female following him around now it was too risky for him to lead her into the city with him. He needed to lose her first before she caught onto what he was doing. Instead of heading to his desired location Kiba stumbled further into the forest in on particular direction. It was fine so long as he could still keep a vague idea of where he needed to go in order to get where he needed to go.
Little did he know that he had more than one follower. Thanks to the intense pain he was struggling with, and his annoying werewolf follower Kiba didn't notice that the strangely coloured lizard was still following them. Its presence could become problematic for him later on, but that was a concern for another time. Kiba didn't say anything when the other female tried to respond to his rant on the different lives they led. What could he say? His view on life in the human world was very different from hers. He didn't even understand some of what she was saying. He didn't know what a driver was, or what a car was, but what he could grasp told him enough. Despite both of them being attacked for their animal forms the werewolf's life was far more peaceful than his amongst humans. It wasn't surprising to hear. Unlike him she was more human and could blend in with them. If Kiba embraced his human side he might be able to experience that as well. But he didn't, he refused to try and blend in with humans. It was a big part of why he could not live in their territory without getting into trouble. He was a stubborn fool for it but that was how he was.
Kiba only spoke up again to ask why she was still following him. Personally he thought she was either being stupid or was up to something bad. What she said though was something akin to loneliness. He couldn't really blame her too much if that was true given her circumstances. It wasn't that uncommon for younger wolves to leave their old packs to start a life of their own. Most pups once they matured yearned to start families of their own, so naturally they left. He had done that when he had been younger. This werewolf probably did the same thing just to make a life of her own, maybe just to see where she fit in the world, find a mate, and start a pack of her own. Too bad the one she was trying to bond with was him. Kiba could not deny that he did yearn for companionship but no matter how badly he wanted it he couldn't have it. From all the things that he had dealt with in the past he couldn't do it again. He couldn't start or join a pack with those he would have once called kin. No wolf would take in a freak like him, or would want to mate with him. He didn't fit in with wolves, he didn't fit with supernaturals, and he definitely didn't fit in with humans.
When the werewolf asked him why he didn't trust her and he gave her his answer. It was more or less the short story of his life so far. He wouldn't go into details about his past (the bits he remembered anyway) but what he did say was enough. Kiba didn't trust anyone because there was no one worth the risk. Almost every being he had ever met, both human and nonhuman had not been kind to him. Over time he learned to be wary of everyone. He had lost so much, and lost his place in the world. That was why he was in the situation that he was in now. The werewolf seemed shocked to hear the words that came out of his mouth. Her words sounded geniune, but they didn't make him feel better. He didn't take pride in shocking her or making her feel sorry for him. He just felt like crap having to talk about it. “That is what my life is as you put it. Horrible. But that is how the world is. Its a cruel, dark place for those less fortunate. I survive only because I am smart enough to learn from the hardships that have been thrown my way. I do not trust because there is little benefit for me to trust anyone. I keep to myself as well because there is no group I fit in anymore and I am safer on my own despite what I think. Do you still think its wise to bother the likes of me now?”

Izzy nodded to his comment, she had no doubt that the wild wolf had been through worse. She let her mind wonder, thinking about some of the things she had been through in the recent past. In once instance she had run from a dragon, which is why the things now put her on edge. She did mean what she said about not holding an entire creature's population accountable for one or two specific supernaturals from that one group.
Rose kept following, listening to their conversation quietly. Finally she had the courage to speak up. "I-I think that s-she d-does, I-I do a lit-little," She said nervously from the trees, they would see it as an invisible voice. Well the male would.
"So, you do have a voice little dragon," Izzy said, looking up into the trees. Rose squeaked and stayed as close to the trunk of the tree she was in as she could. "Your right of course, I do think it's worth it. Everyone needs someone to help and look out for them sometimes. In fact if you ever in the small town near the city track me down, I can give you food and shelter if you need it," She said as she looked between the male and the tree she thought the voice had come from.
