"I really don't have a preference, any place is fine." Roger replied as she handed over the kit.
Accepting it, he placed it down on the ground and opened it. Ah there it was. Picking up the large roll, he started to work of wrapping his hand and fingers up first. He always made sure to do it in a way that would allow for him to use the hand still, thus being able to move the fingers. Making his way up, Thressa started to speak once more.
"Well...it's kind of my fault for what I got my family into." Roger answered as he stopped for a moment and moved the demon hand and it's fingers, making sure he can move them in the bandage. "I was a detective for the police here in the city. I had gotten a case and this person involved mentioned something strange, so like any detective I investigated further. Dug things up that I shouldn't have and started to get close to Axium. Several peers told me to drop it and...I didn't listen."
As he spoke, he went on wrapping his arm. Eventually with it fully wrapped he separated the bandage from the roll and tied it off. There was plenty of the roll left so she wouldn't have to buy a new one. Placing the roll into the kit, he closed the lid, picked it up, and followed along.
"By time I realized that they were right and I had quit my job....it was too late." Roger added. "I sealed their fate...and mine."

She didn't know where to go then, maybe a Chinese restaurant? That seemed to be reasonable, and most restaurants had a buffet so he could have whatever he wanted and as much as he wanted. She hated to say it but he didn't seem to have much food available and with that stupid demon there was a possibility that he couldn't get a job because of the demon taking over from time to time. She watched him wrap his hand and arm back up, they could both lie and say it was a burn again. She was paying attention to the exact way he rapped it, around each finger so he would still be able to use it.
"Still, they shouldn't have done it. Sure you knew a bit to much but they should have left it alone when you dropped the case, I could understand if you had kept digging but you stopped" She said after listening to his side. "Actually I couldn't even understand them doing what they did if you kept digging, maybe taking you and making you look dead but not actually killing a child and your wife! They didn't do anything!" She said after a moment then shook her head. Why, why did she ever take that stupid job.
As he finished rapping his arm she noted how much was left, so I won't have to buy anymore she thought. That was fine with her though she was glad that he had used as much as he needed. As she walked along and he followed she also listened.
I still don't see why they had to kill his wife and child, they didn't know anything and they weren't helping him do anything she though, she had already voiced her opinion on this subject so she wasn't going to repeat herself. She felt bad for Roger though, who would have thought that he had a family when he was taken, an innocent child lost their life because of AXIUM. She stayed silent, her eyes straight ahead as they neared her car.

"Bad people do anything they can to keep their secrets hidden, they care not for what effects it has." Roger answered.
Saying it was burn wouldn't work, it wouldn't explain the larger size and the claws. Oh what a curse he had been given. Well forcefully given since they chopped off his mangled and pretty useless arm off and sewed this one on. He couldn't get a job due to it and the growing insanity in his mind that hit him whenever the demon pleased. It was a problem he didn't know how to handle, medication probably wouldn't work. It was a supernatural being causing his insanity not a natural thing, so really he doubted medicine would work.
Besides, becoming dependent on such a thing wasn't what he wanted. He could barely get food even with Hamlet's help. So having to take meds was the last thing he needed. What he needed was more food and water, though clean water was easier to come by. As they walked, Roger raised his hand and gently grasped his shoulder. The shoulder was still human in terms of biology and appearance course everything bellow it wasn't. The thing always ached due to this arm being so much larger.
