"Just perfect," Thressa said sarcastically. This was just perfect, she had a demon that wanted to kill her.
Thressa watched as he put his hands against his ears, she wondered what was wrong and then thought of how loud a demon's voice could possibly be. She hated to think of what that demon was doing to him. If only she hadn't worked where she did, this wouldn't have happened.
"I'm guessing that your not exactly Roger any more are you?" She asked as she noticed his change in voice. She was suddenly full of fear, if she was right and this was the demon who was in control than she wasn't going to come out of this unharmed.
When the demon's arm was raised quickly and several creature things appeared and swarmed around Thressa's legs. They were preventing her movement and thus keeping her from running. When she saw her ruby red eyes she very afraid, she was almost positive now that it was no longer Roger who she was talking to and who was in control.

"Oh look at that, seems you have a brain after all in that weak little skull." the demon mocked as he folded his arms. "Scared? How marvelous and fitting."
A crazed smile took over his face as he stood there. Though the smile weakened a bit and became one of a thinking expression as he put his demon hand to his chin. The demon was trying to think of something and that wasn't good.
"So then....what's the funniest way to have you die? I could chop you up just like you and the other wretched beings that work with ya did to me?" the demon asked.

"Of course I'm scared, only an idiot wouldn't be scared!" She said with a slight shake in her voice, not enough to make her stutter though. It wasn't fitting to her, she hadn't even been there when the demon had had it's arm cut off! She was terrified though, this was one of those times she really wished she had never taken the job at AXIUM.
She shivered visibly as the crazed smile came to his face and she started to fight with the creatures surrounding her, trying to run and get away. It was hardly a good thing when she saw a thinking expression come to his face, she had to get away! She stated kicking and hitting the creatures holding her, if they were solid enough for that she thought they would be solid enough for her to hit.
"D-die? But I-I had n-noting to do w-with you being cut up, or your arm b-being given to Roger! I-I wasn't even w-working for them then!" She exclaimed, her chest seeming to contract in fear. She felt like she couldn't breath and she worked harder to get free, if she hadn't freed herself already anyway. If she did get away surely it wouldn't be that simple, how long would it take for the demon or Roger to find her?

Only a idiot would be scared huh? Yes that was how it worked. A good way to think yes. Showed she still held some intelligence...for a human. Though her words on her having to have nothing to do with what happened wasn't well received. Anger clearly took over his face and the ruby red color to his eyes became stronger as Thressa said that. The shadow creatures weren't going anywhere though. Closing the gap between himself and her with several quick steps, he aimed to grab Thressa by the collar of her shirt. If he succeed the shadow creatures would've disappeared.
"And yet you joined right up with em didn't ya?!!" the demon snarled as he held her. "You had a choice in life, you made one of the poorest ones! And they say demons are the worst, look at how you humans are turning out."

Tessa looked at him, taking quick shallow breaths. Her eyes were wide and she could tell her words weren't having much of an effect on him, or if they were they weren't having a good one. She felt the creatures around her disappear as he grabbed her shirt collar.
"I didn't know they did this till after I joined, it's TOP SECRETE," She said yelling the last two words. She didn't like thinking that she was a bad person or cruel, and he seemed to want to highlight the fact that she joined up with the place that did this to him. "I am aware that I made a bad choice, but if I got out now it would look suspicious. Especially with the timing of Reid's escape!" she exclaimed, her fear was being slowly replaced by anger turning her into the idiot who wasn't scared. There was a small amount of fear left in her and she was able to ignore that due to the anger.
"Believe me I want to quit, especially now, it's getting more obvious to me that this ruins people's lives, along with the lives of other things evidently," She said indicating the demon who was holding her, she really just wanted to be let go. She really wasn't going to take him back, if he escaped once he could again and who knew what they would do to him because he escaped.

"And what did you think they were doing? Did they tell you would be using animals for testing? Is that why you joined but learned the truth afterwards huh?" The demon requested. "Oh so what?!! You realized you were related to someone, you meet only a few times and treated like they were trash to be walked on!!"
The demon wasn't happy and his rage was fulling the insanity, thus restricting Roger deeper within. Roger was trying to come back but it just wasn't working. Hearing Thressa's words on wanting to quit cause some of the anger to supside though a crazed and large smile took residence on his face as he burst out laughing.
"OH you have got to be KIDDING ME?!!" the demon snapped as he jerked Thressa forward, pretty much they were eyeleveled now. "You learn one measly thing and you claim to want change? YOUR DAMAGE IS DONE!!! Even if you stopped and turned around, it's already too late for you as well as those affected. If anyone learns of your secrets, your coworkers go out of their way to keep them quiet."
Stop! Don't tell her! Roger shouted in the demon's head; pretty much his own head.
"Aw what's wrong Roger? You know that files don't tell every little detail." the demon started, the smile grew. "Your coworkers pretty much killed his wife and a little child to prevent him from talking. They even orchestrated the event so it looked like a accident and dragged this mangled mess out of the wreck before it blew! THOSE YOU WRETCHED CREATURES TOUCH DON'T HAVE A LIFE IF THEY GET OUT!!!"

"Your right I was stupid, all they told me was that they were doing testing they didn't say on what and I should have asked. I-I only met Reid once before he escaped, and it wasn't a good meeting. Your right I did treat him like trash but I feel bad about it and it made me realize that the people who are taken for testing, well some of them have family out there that they don't know about and who don't know about them," She said as she tried to look down, past the had that was holding her, and at the ground.
She was trying to get this demon to understand that she really did feel bad, not just because of her relation with Reid but because she finally realized that some of them had family out there. She was jerked forward, putting her face to face with the demon who had taken over Roger's body.
"It was one thing that brought on a realization that was bigger than you think. I found out I was related to Reid yes, but who knows who else in that compound has some family somewhere!" She said, her voice was rising slowly going toward a yell again. "I hate what I have done in that place, all I see is destruction when I look at it now, people who could have had LIVES! If it got out that I was related to Reid then the highers, I have no idea what they would do, but my coworkers with the knowledge that Reid escaped on my watch wouldn't keep it quiet that HE WAS MY BROTHER!" She yelled the last three words basically right in his face because he had jerked her forward
"T-they did WHAT?" she asked now horrified at what her highers had done. Poor Roger! "I-I had no idea," She said as she turned her head down and to the side, away from the demon/Roger completely. Silent tears streaked her face, she couldn't believe she worked for such a horrid place. To take someone's family away just so they wouldn't talk, to kill an innocent wife and child. She couldn't help it. "I-I'm so sorry Roger, if you can hear me please forgive me for working in such a horrible place," She said with her head still turned away.

"That didn't cross your mind, when you first walked down there and saw them?!" the demon questioned. "Sure some don't look human anymore due to what you and your coworkers put them through but honestly, the fact that they might have family out there in the world. Didn't cross your mind, until you learned that you were RELATED to one of em?!"
He hated it huh? Well that clearly didn't stop her from being stupid to search for the one she was claiming to be related to. The demon didn't understand, humans were so confusing! Roger was too conscious about breaking the law to survive when he used to be a detective for the police and his current situation was needing him to break the law. Honestly, these weak humans were so confusing and baffling.
"Yes, that's what they did. Rammed a car straight into his and ruined his stupid little life. Heck, I ended up getting chopped up a different way but that's not important." the demon said. "Did I mention that the child was his only son and pretty much a five or six year old? No, oh looks like I did."
The demnon would've loved to kill Thressa or at least give her a tasted of what her coworkers did to others. Suddenly though, Roger seemed to be making a come back. Causing the demon to glance away for a moment. Stupid moron, he always interfered at hte last moment. A sigh left him as he released Thressa's collar and shot a glare at her.
"You're lucky considering his current state, but I really don't believe this so called story of you turning round. Humans don't change easily." the demon hissed, though the ruby red started to disappear and Roger lost his balance.
Ending up on the ground and landing on his bottom, putting his normal hand to his head as the demon retreated. Though that didn't take long as Roger's dark brown eyes glanced at her for a moment before glancing down at the ground. A look of shame was on his face that was really directed toward himself since it took him so long to get the demon back under control.
"S...Sorry about that..." Roger apologized.

Thressa's head was still down and she was feeling wave after wave of shame as the demon pointed out the obvious, she should had realized that then. "I should have realized it, but whenever I asked anything about their families I was told that they had none. Finding out I was related to one of them turned that thought to nothing because obviously he would have to have family out there for us to be related," She said with shame evident in her voice.
She wasn't being stupid by searching for Reid, she wasn't going to take him in and if she did find him she would lie and say she didn't, she just wanted to tell him. She had no idea what he would do when he saw her, considering last time he did was when he was in AXIUM and he had burned her arm. Besides all that he would probably think she was there to take him back when she wasn't, she really did feel bad about what she had done though, especially to her experiment and any other she had been put over.
She wondered how the demon had gotten chopped up but stayed silent. When she found out the 'kid' had been Roger's only son and only about five she felt worse. "T-that's horrible," She still thought it bad that she had taken a job there, she felt worse about it now than she had ever felt about it before. She wasn't afraid but she felt horrid for what had been done to Roger now.
When the demon glanced away for a moment then dropped Thressa she was so surprised she landed sprawled on the grass, only to sit up quickly. She wondered what the demon was doing as she looked at him closely. Then the demon started to speak.
"You don't have to believe me, but I have," she said right before the red disappeared from his eyes. Roger fell on the ground and ended up sitting much the way Thressa was. She still had a few tears streaming down her face though. She still couldn't believe what AXIUM had done.
"I should be the one looking ashamed and saying 'sorry'," She told him. "Could you hear everything I said while the demon was in control?" She asked curious. She was still a little afraid of the demon coming back but at least if she knew Roger could hear her she could still hope that he wasn't mad at her for anything. She didn't know what else to say as she fell silent, she only hoped that she had convinced him more than she had the demon.

Peter......such a happy young life, such a young life. Only for it to end up destroyed due to him investing something he was told not to. It was his fault that Peter and his wife paid for it. Hearing Thressa's question, he looked back at her.
"Y...yeah...I could hear everything." Roger answered. "I was trying to regain control the whole time but....it's really hard."
Of course it was hard! He was fighting insanity and a demon in his mind, that was a hard thing to do. As he was sitting there, the sound of his stomach growling could be heard and honestly it came as a surprise to him. He had actually forgotten about being hungry before hand and really, that was just a embarrassing thing to have happen. Oh well.

She watched him as he sat in thought. It was a horrible thing to have happen to him and she was frowning trying to figure out a gentle way to ask the question. There might be a slight possiability that his son and wife was still alive though she couldn't think of a reason why if they were that AXIUM hadn't taken them.
"Good, then I don't have to stress how sorry I am," She said with a slight smile. She wasn't scared anymore but it felt like someone had twisted her stomach into knots. The guilt was something she hated to deal with the most, and there was a lot of it.
She was still thinking of a way to ask who his son was when his stomach growled. She sighted and stood up as she straightened out her collar where the demon had grabbed her.
"If you trust me enough I'll take you to get something to eat, my treat. I don't mind and I was wanting something anyway," She said to him then her question slipped out. "If you don't mind me asking, what was your kid's name?" She was more interested in the little boy. She wondered if something in her was telling her he was still alive or if her grief was just greater for the child. She cast her eyes down at the ground after asking as she blushed, who wanted to answer questions about their dead kid? She half hoped he would ignore her second question as she kept her eyes on the ground.

No. They weren't alive...they were gone, hopefully in a better place. Watching her stand up, Roger glance away as she did so. It was pretty much hard for him to figure out what to do. After all, there was a clear and understanding reason as to why his stomach had growled like that. At her proposal though, he looked back at her confused. W...Why would she offer him that? Roger would've questioned it but the pain in his stomach as it growled once more prevented him from doing so.
"Um...do...do you have anything I can, hide this in?" Roger asked as he held up the demon arm. "I...It's gonna freak a good number of people out."
Well why wouldn't it? It was bigger than his other arm slightly, a dark red like color, and there were claws at the end of his finger tips. It would scare people as well. The bandage he had was rather useless now, torn up and all. Hearing her question, he glanced at her.
"Peter...we named him Peter..." Roger answered.

She wondered if he would trust her but when his stomach growled again her doubts diminished. He sounded like he was starving, and honestly that wasn't a good thing in his condition. When he spoke it turned out she was right, it may not exactly be trust but he will see, over time, that she really did mean no harm.
"Hummmm......well not on me, I didn't think I would need anything here. I think I have something in my car, I tend to carry around a huge first aid kit since the person I'm looking for can be dangerous. Considering when he escaped he burned my arm I don't think anyone can blame me," She said with a sigh. Sh actually felt the most sorry for Reid since she knew that he didn't trust easily if he could at all. "I can restock it later since this is kinda a big thing. Can you stay here while I go get it, or do you want to follow to make sure I'm not going to do anything?" Tessa asked, she figured the demon would have said follow, even if it was to attack while her back was turned, but she didn't know how Roger would react.
She was sure people would panic, I mean if it was just a little red and a bit larger she could lie and put it up to an allergic reaction but the claws would be hard to explain.
Peter, a nice enough name for a boy. She wondered what Peter would have been like as an adult, if she would have passed him at some point. She felt really horrible for working for people who took a life from an innocent child. She had never thought of the testing that way but she did now, all those kids that they took. Everyone they took more than likely could have had a better life, it was because of AXIUM that they couldn't! She was so STUPID to not walk right out the first day, she saw that now but it was to late.

Roger nodded his head to what Thressa asked. He could wait here, the demon wouldn't be pleased but it was the best thing to do. After all, he couldn't go into town or a city like this. The torn clothes was explainable but the size of the arm and the claws was something he couldn't. Even if he lied.
"I can stay." Roger answered, just in case Thressa wasn't sure by his nod. "He's quiet for a bit since...well..."
Yes, Peter was a nice name. A happy youngster who was very curious. Something he had encouraged alongside his wife. What would Peter have become? Would he have kept that curiosity as a adult? It was so hard to know and really, Roger wanted to see that. He wanted his son to have a live but no, he had been so stupid! Investigating something that killed his family.

Thressa wondered at Roger's nod but soon he spoke and she went off toward where she had left her car.
Her car hadn't been to far away, enough that Roger hadn't heard her coming, still a person was more likely to see him here. She grabbed the first aid kit and climbed back out walking back toward where Roger was standing. She was mutely glad the demon was silent for the moment and she sat back down after Roger took the kit.
"Once you get that hidden again we can take my car to wherever you want to go, it's not far down the path but it's far enough that there is more of a chance of people coming along," In a way Thressa guessed that she was trying to make up for her mistake. It had been a huge one that there was no way in ten lifetimes that she could make up for it but she would try, it made it worse that she was still making the mistake every day that she didn't quit working for that damned place.
"Y-you know I was serious about wanting to quit right? It's just the timing would be suspicious and when I think about what they did to you.......I mean I work there I know as much about the place as there is to know. I really don't think they will just let me go for those two reasons, and if they looked into the thing with Reid and found out that would just add another thing to the pile," She said, if Roger had gotten his arm bandaged by this point she would have stood up and started walking, if not than she would have remained sitting on the ground.
