Thressa sat in one of the labs, she had just started the test to compare her blood to Fire Wolf's. She was a little afraid of what would pop up but she would try to hide the results if it showed that they were somehow related. She had her head in her hands with her elbows propped by a lab computer. She was to lost in her own thoughts to notice if anyone was coming into the room so she probably wouldn't notice anyone unless they spoke to her.
She wondered what would happen if she couldn't hide the results if they came out the way she hoped they wouldn't. What would AXIUM do? The higher ups would probably say that she planned Fire Wolf's whole escape, that she meant for it to happen. She had already been obsessing over where Fire Wolf would go and she didn't need anything else. Of course someone had to suggest that she looked like Fire Wolf.
Lawrence had been the one to suggest that they looked similar and she hated him for it, for making her worry more. However what if she wasn't worrying for nothing? She really needed a break from all this worrying but it seemed to come with the job. She sighed and continued waiting for the results.

It wasn't a horrifying thing to say in Lawrence's opinion. Cause in his mind, there was no reason for the way Thressa reacted. Fire Wolf had been born in the underground cells twenty-nine years ago. The mother was never released, she had been killed by the experiments done on her a good amount of time after Fire Wolf had been born. Now while he thought Fire Wolf didn't remember the woman who was his mother, he was mistaken. The rageful beast was old enough to remember bits of her, course that was another thing Lawrence didn't know.
He had taken a blood sample from one of the other experiments to see how their DNA was being affected. If nothing was really happening then he would increase the dose of their injections to make sure their real handler would get results. Perhaps if enough experiments got results then he'd get one of his own? A small hope but he could still have those if he wanted to. Upon arriving to the Lab, he wasn't too surprised to see Thressa there. She was a scientist after all with her own experiment.
"Well, what's up?" Lawrence asked as he walked past Thressa and went to a separate machine to start his own matter.

Thressa looked up a Lawrence addressed her, great just the person I was trying to avoid, She thought. She didn't hate Lawrence exactly, and she knew avoiding him for long was impossible. She took a big breath and leaned back away from the computer screen, she was mentally trying to hurry the process up.
"I'm just trying to figure out what gave Fire Wolf his extra forms. I'm thinking maybe it'll help Magus, I'm also going to try and figure out what filled him with so much rage to keep that from happening," She said in reply, lying easily. She didn't mind lying but she hoped that the other scientist wouldn't be able to detect the lie.
"What are you doing?" She asked curious, hoping that if he did detect the lie she could distract him from it with her question. She really hoped he didn't detect the lie though because if he did there was a possibility that he would ask what she was really doing. She really needed to stop worrying so much.

Made sense what she was doing. Recreating Fire Wolf was a good and bad idea. Placing the vial of blood into the machine, he pressed a few buttons and it started up. Spinning around and around. He turned his sky blue gaze to her and gave a smile.
"Very wise. So long as we have a means to recreate him the highers won't be too upset." Lawrence started as he pushed his glasses up. "Well, he did have two forms last I checked and they were both larger versions of a wolf, though....one was on the borderline of a werewolf it seemed. Perhaps it was due to the multiple forms that he had so much rage? Plus, what countless scientists have done to him haven't exactly helped either."
Hm...what else was it that could cause the rage? Considering how timid and scared Magus was, was there really a reason to be concerned about him turning into Fire Wolf in terms of rage? Besides, Magus wasn't here since birth like Fire Wolf was.
"Though the experiments done to experiment F90 didn't affect her during her pregnancy with Fire Wolf, it affected the unborn child. 234 hasn't been here since birth, true we got him as a baby but he was already several months old by that time." Lawrence added. "Oh, I'm testing to see how a experiment is handling the injections they've had lately. If the dose needs to be increased or not. Simple things."

Good he hadn't seen through it, that was perfect. Lawrence would have probably believed her no matter what she said, well within reason.
"I believe it's still possible for a rage type effect to occur. I mean we ARE talking about Fire Wolf here. Though he may have had the rage because of how it effected him before birth, it isn't a certainty. That's why I want to give 234 the different forms but make sure he doesn't get the rage or the fire ability," She said shivering when she thought about what that little ability had done to her. It was easy to talk about the experiments with Lawrence, at least the topic was off of what she was doing.
She was still willing the machine to go faster though it had to be going full speed, most of the scientists here were impatient so the technology was usually the fastest that there was. She sighed as she put her head back in her hands, wishing she could just take the results and run.
"I wish I knew if he would have been that full of rage if he hadn't been tested on since before he was born. I mean, it would make this a lot easier. 234 is a bit of a coward but I don't want that to flip and end up blowing up in my face," She said with a short laugh. Fire Wolf had literally blown up in her face, or rather burned her arm. She was more cautious around experiments because of that, the only one that didn't apply to was Magus since he was such a scared little thing. "I do think that he should have more agility and speed for the way he looks though, that's really what I'm trying to solve," She said with a wondering tone, it was strange to her that he didn't.

"True, the fire is a another problem perhaps it could be exchanged with a different ability if we figure out how he received the fire to begin with." Lawrence agreed. "That might have something to do with it. F90's handler was giving her injections that were really just meant for her, and months went by before he even noticed that she was even pregnant. I don't think they even changed what they were testing for when they learned that."
Lawrence could only shrug. Maybe Fire Wolf wouldn't have been so rageful if the experimentation stopped when they learned that F90 was pregnant. There was no telling with these things. Whatever the cause, the experiments done on him throughout his years would play a important role in ti as well.
"That's what reports and notes are for." Lawrence said. "Perhaps your not giving 234 a strong enough dose nor often enough. Perhaps there is a missing chemical in the doses that there has yet to be found? Course, combing him with some of Fire Wolf's traits might not be too bad. So long as it is done and handled properly."

Wow no wonder Fire Wolf was like he was, had they even cared about the baby? Of course they hadn't, what was the difference between testing on them before they were born and waiting for a bit? The difference of course could be horrible, of course no one thought of that, at least no one who had their opinion in on the experiment.
She watched him shrug, she didn't have the answer either. No one really had the answer to her question and no one probably cared. Fire Wolf was their greatest success in their boss's eyes, and maybe that was why. She didn't know if she could really recreate the effects of Fire Wolf but she would try. Now that she had said it as an idea she actually did want to try it.
"Maybe, I give him a dose every other day but maybe it isn't large enough. There might be a chemical that has yet to be found that would be beneficial, your right, but who knows how long it will take to find it. I think combining him with some of Fire Wolf's traits would have to be done very carefully but it's worth a shot," She said honestly. Now if only she could figure out how he got those traits.

"Hm....perhaps you should give him two doses daily. First dose should be your normal amount and the second dose should be a bigger amount." Lawrence suggested. "You should also toss a new chemical in there every so often to see what you get. Course that is up to you."
Thressa could try putting steroids into the dose as well. Course that was to increase strength but there were ones for speed and stamina. She would just have to find the right ones. Course the drug always had it's downsides. Oh well. That was the risk of this business.
"It would be interesting to see the results for if we figure out how to get some of those traits into 234." Lawrence added.

"Perhaps your right, changing doses and adding chemicals, at least every so often on the chemical thing unless I find one that has a desired effect, it isn't a bad idea. I don't want to do anything to risky but that would hopefully bring a good effect," She said as the macing signaled it was done.
She turned her attention to the screen and she nearly fell out of her seat. They were related, by the test they were half siblings. She printed off the results so she could keep them with her and tried to keep a calm facade, she didn't want anyone to curious. The discovery startled her though and she couldn't hide that entirely.
"It would be, and I'm actually going to try," She said in a clam voice, though if he looked at her he would be able to see the surprise on her face. She was related to a lab rat, this was her worst nightmare. She hadn't quite started to think of Fire Wolf as a person yet but she would soon start mentally calling him Reid, though she would never let that slip to another scientist. She started rubbing her temples again, this had been a really long day and she still had an hour before she could go home.

"Happy to help." Lawrence replied with a smile as he turned his gaze toward the machine that he was waiting on.
At the same time that Thressa's machine gave the sound to signal the results were coming in, so did his. His smile disappeared and a sigh left him. Disappointment. Thus far the experiment wasn't reacting to it. Well a stronger dose was thus needed. A much stronger dose than what the experiment was currently getting. Their handler wouldn't be back for a while and he did have permission to run tests and thus on it. He'd give the creature the higher dose himself. Simple thing to do.
"Well, I shall leave you to your work. I have some to tend to as well." Lawrence added as he took the vial out of the machine and a copy of the results.

She smiled at him as he printed out the results of his test, good he hadn't noticed her reaction either. It had helped that he had been looking at his screen as well.
She took a deep breath and walked out of the lab with her results to carry on her day after saying okay to Lawrence's comment. She was even more determined to find Reid now, but not to bring him in. Now that she knew more about him, and that she was related to him, she didn't want him to have anymore testing done on him. She wondered who she could trust with the information she just gained, probably no one.
She continued to go through a calming process but each time she thought about Reid or those results she had to start over, eventually she gave up and just tried to mask the fear and shock. Eventually she got to go home and the first thing she did was change cloths and go out to look for Reid.
