It was just another day in the life of the PIDA agents, another day in the life of the Gamer Group. Or, at least it started that way. Of course it was only a matter of time before the group would be tasked with some job. Which was normal of course. Work and such.
It was funny how Cry usually ended up being the one to bring the info to the rest of the guys if it was to be a group effort. He was probably the easiest to spot, or was just always in the right location at the right time. Probably the latter of the two to be perfectly honest. So, off Cry went with his envelope of information in hand. He headed off to the kitchen, knowing very well the rest of the group would have to drop in at some point for food and junk like that.
Cry strolled into the kitchen, whistling a nice little tune as he did so. He dropped the envelope in the first table he saw, which was one to the left of the room up against the wall. Cry then walked over to the fridge and grabbed a paper bag that said "This is Cry's food, please don't touch. Thanks Pookie, heartsign." It also bore Cry's signature face, which was doodled below his little message He walked back over to the table and took a seat facing the doorway. He took out a tuna sandwich, which he played with for a moment before deciding he should go ahead and eat. Cry pulled up his mask just enough so his mouth was exposed, and just enough so he could still have some sort of sight. He munched on his food, waiting for the rest of his group.
It honestly didn't take long for someone to show up. Cry had looked up in time to see Toby strolling in, singing a silly song to himself. "'Sup Toby?" Cry said, raising a hand to wave at him.
"I'm about ready to get my food on man. I see you're already doing that." Toby said grinning, going to the fridge and grabbing his own meal before grabbing a seat by Cry. "So, what's up today?" Toby asked, motioning towards the envelope on the table.
"Oh you know, job stuff. I'll tell you once everyone is here my good man." Cry said calmly, taking a sip from a soda he had just opened up.
"Job stuff? Sweet!" Cry looked up to see Crendor looming not so far off from the table. When in the Hell did he get here? Usually he was so loud upon his entrances, but not today apparently.
"Yes good Crendor, job stuff." Cry said grinning, taking another bite of his sandwich. Crendor pulled up a chair towards the table, sitting in it in a slouched, relaxed manner. "Now we wait for the rest of our friends." Cry said with another grin.
"Well they need to hurry their butts up. I wanna know what's going on." Toby said in an excited tone taking a bite from his own sandwich.
Yes, they certainly should hurry....but until then, Cry would enjoy his meal.
Tuna is fucking delicious.

It was your typical day int he PIDA headquarters as far as Nick could tell when he came into work that day. Lots of people wandering the halls, either talking quietly amongst themselves, or had their noses stuck in case files looking over their assignments. You know, the usual crap. The usual boring crap that was. It was always the same thing day in and day out, same old boring people, with the same old attire, having the same old boring conversations, if it wasn't for the fact that these people fought crazy super powered creatures this place would be just like any other office building. It made Spoon a little mad at times, when he had first joined the PIDA he thought things would be a little more exciting...like 007 kind of exciting. Hey, who wouldn't think that when they learned they were going to become an agent for a super secret organization. That was the kind of shit that you only saw in movies, so naturally he expected it to be just like in the movies.
What a let down it was to see that top secret agent work was nothing like the movies. Spoon had tried to help these people have some fun with their daily routine. He dressed up to help fit the image he had imagined (coming to his first day of work in a tux), tried throwing random parties, and when all else failed stripped to his undies to start a streaking parade. All of these things only wound up with him getting into trouble and making people angry. Most of his colleagues avoided him on sight now, they thought he was mad and found him annoying. Everyone save for his friends that was. Spoon didn't care what those boring people thought, only the cool people could appreciate a little fun, like the people that he worked with. They were the only ones worth his time.
Speaking of which, where were they? Spoon hadn't seen anyone from his group since coming here, not even Nova. While Spoon and Nova lived under the same roof the agency normally gave them separate hours, there were days that Spoon would go off to work but Nova got to stay at home eating doritos on the couch and watch TV in his undies. It really sucked that they couldn't always have the same days off together and the same work hours. Oh well, there was always the rest of their crew. Spoon walked down the hallway, peering into every room he came across looking for someone in his group, calling out their names but getting no replies. Bummer. Where the hell were they?
Just as he thought he would never find anyone the young masked man heard familiar voices coming from the kitchen. Could that be Toby he was hearing? He could have sworn he heard his voice, and Crendor's too. Sweet! He found them. Spoon made a dash for the door and jumped into the room. "HELLO BITCHES!" He bellowed. Yes! He found the group...or at least some of the group. There was Toby and Crendor just like he had thought, but they weren't alone, there was someone else sitting with them, and it was... "Cry!" Spoon squealed in delight. Next to his buddy Nova, Cry was one of his favorite in the group. Just like him, Cry was not too comfortable showing his gorgeous mug in public. They had met sometime before Spoon had become an agent too, and they had gotten along even then. "What's up my man?" he grabbed a chair and sat down with the rest of the group when he noticed a file laid out on the table. "What's that? Is it a mission? Are we gonna go find someone and kick their ass? I want in!"

What is taking him so long? Jesse wondered as he stared at his wrist watch. Jesse Cox had been standing by John's office for twenty minutes now waiting for the man to get the hell out of there. Tb had said that he needed ten minutes to wrap up what he was doing so they could go to lunch and meet the rest of thier crew. Ten minutes my butt the man mentally grumbled. Seriously, how long did it take to go through some records? Maybe he was being a little too harsh about all of this, but that was what happened when you made him wait. Jesse was not a very patient person. He had always been a go getter, when he wanted to do something he did it as soon as he could, half the time he did stuff without thinking about the consequences. It wasn't the smartest thing to do, but Jesse wasn't known for his brains either. But hey, it worked for him so why worry about it?
Jesus, what was taking him so damn long? Jesse glared at the door, growing more impatient by the second. If John was going to stay in there any longer he would just leave him behind. Hell, he would've left him behind five minutes ago if it he could. Had it been an ordinary lunch Jesse would have no problem leaving Tb behind at all. But it wasn't, today was the day that their group were going to pick out their missions. It was a monthly routine that they did since they had all met. One person in the group (normally him or Cry) grabbed some case files and shuffled through them with the rest and pick out who handled what, or work on one major case together. It was a system that worked out pretty well for them. Working alone could be troublesome for most of the gamers. It was only natural for people with their unique 'problems' to run into trouble. So working with a partner, or even a larger group ensured that someone always had your back if you fucked up. That system had saved his life on more than one occasion.Jesse let out an impatient sigh as he took a step forward and knocked on the door. "Hey, are you done in there yet?""Hey, are you done in there yet?" he said.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." he heard from the other side just before the door opened. "I'm sorry, it took a bit longer than I thought it would."
"No kidding, geez man how long does it take to go through some files?" Jesse said as the pair started walking down the hallway. "Are you still not used to your new position yet?" John rolled his eyes. "I am not so inept that I can't handle it. Its still a lot of work but I can handle it." It had been almost a month now since Tb's promotion. After the way the brit had handled Guillotine in their last case the agency decided to give him a promotion. And what did they think he was fit to do? Counseling. That's right, they made John a psychologist...or at least something like that. Now on top of his normal duties John was in charge of counseling other agents and psychoanalyzing prisoners and the like. It was a strange position to give someone with no psychology training but they thought he could handle it. At first Jesse was a little envious of his friend getting that promotion while his reward was to babysit a rabid hellhound that tried to kill him, but after seeing his friend struggle with a job he barely understood that envy soon turned to pity. Good thing for Tb he was a quick learner, and like their previous roles this counseling thing was still flexible.
"You sure you can still keep your new job and still do missions with us? I can't keep waiting for you to catch up. I don't mind if you don't join us on our missions, and I am sure the others wouldn't mind either."
"And leave you to get your ass beat up? Are you mad? Of course I am going to come with you lot...where are we suppose to meet the others?"
Jesse was about to answer when a sudden shout answered for him. "HELLO BITCHES!" Jesse chuckled and nodded his head towards the kitchen. "That answer your question for you?" he replied. "Come on, lets go." Jesse and Totalbiscuit headed towards the kitchen. "Hey guys." he beamed at Toby, Crendor, Cry, and Spoon. It looked like most of the crew was already there. The only ones missing were Nova and Dodger. Dodger was off work today so he didn't expect her to show up, but he did promise to give her a heads up about what they picked when he got back home. Nova on the other hand he didn't know if he was away or not, oh well they could still catch him up whether he was late or not. "Sorry about getting here late. I had to wait for TB." he eyed the brit, who rolled his eyes in response as they took their seats. "So, who's turn was it to grab a mission?"
