Riolu had wandered quite a bit around the place. He honestly didn't understand how he kept finding so many places. It was like a labyrinth, a maze within this city. Except, instead of a minotaur or other creatures in the maze. It was building after building. So hard to find his way around and he just had to find one female, pure blooded, werewolf. That was a very small needle, in a very LARGE haystack. A sigh left him as he entered the book shop.
Taking a seat in the store, he set his bags on the ground next to the seat he was in and looked around. At least it was quiet in here. Glancing at a bookshelf next to him, he rose to his feet and stood in front of it. He had some money that he could use to buy something other than a quick snack while he wandered about. Besides, a good book never hurt anyone.
His brown gaze searched the bookshelf as he stood there. Reaching out, he took a grey covered book from the shelf and looked at it. There was a illustration on the front of a wolf and upon opening it, he shook his head. A book on werewolves huh? Another thing to remind him of his genetic failures.
Why do people write about this stuff? Riolu wondered in his head as he put the book back and sighed.

Being new to this town Alex wonders anywhere and everywhere, She has seen just a little and has already began to like where her journey has taken her. How she had ended up here was only by her sense of direction and her knowledge she has gained from books on the world and the history behind it. She mainly finds herself reading what humans call Fantasy, but she knows that is her reality. Her experience she has gained it from the help of her mother, Meg and the personal knowledge from her. Most of Alex's skills have came from her Hunter mother too, but that's what she thinks, since she does not and will never personally know her demon father Troy.
Alex pushed open the door to the building like it was lifting a feather, she believes that came from her fathers side. wondering around and looking for anything she can get her hands on she spotted a boy, she observed him for a bit, not guessing he was at all over age 16. She was better at guessing the age of anything after she had killed it and hands on observed. For now, she went with a gut feeling, He's harmless and young. Alex made her way down the shelves picking up a book on demons. Many types and not enough information for me to figure out who he was, she thought to herself. She placed the book back and slid her hand down the spine of the other books, reading the tittles.
She stopped when She reached the W's and noticed the boy holding a book on Werewolves. Ahhh...Figures, she checked the boy out a little to get a good feel on the senses he was giving off. She can only guess and go with her gut feeling because nothing is ever how it really seems. Alex has only met the meanest Werewolves, since that's the only part of the job (or lifestyle) she knows of, but this place is a bit different than others.. and it confuses her.

Riolu sighed once the book was all the way on the shelf again. He really was a disgrace, he didn't need a book to remind him about it. Being half human was fine, that wasn't the disgrace part. It was the fact that there was hardly any of his father in him. Getting the feeling of being stared at, Riolu turned to see a woman there.
"Um...hello." Riolu greeted, the last time he meet someone in this town it didn't end well.
She would be able to tell he was timid, very timid. It was natural for him. His brown gaze remained fixated on her, but mainly out of caution. How he wished his father hadn't sent him to this town to live with his Aunt. He would've been fine with visiting her and getting to meet her, but having to make her put up with him. That was something he didn't want. What would she think of him? Since his Aunt was his father's sister.
"Is....is something wrong?" Riolu added after a moment of silence.

Alex definitely has a problem staring at someone too long and making things awkward. She, of course, doesn't feel the awkwardness, but sometimes the other person might. She needs to get better at smaller glances to get a feel of someone rather than taking minutes. She was surprised and a little taken back on the teenager talking to her, until she actually realized she had been staring for a while. "No, nothing is wrong. I was just checking out the book you had put back on the shelf." Her strong voice sounded a bit harsh, but she in a way, didn't mean any harm to come out of it. She started to catch a drift of shyness from him almost like an abused/non dominate puppy. She liked it.
"What made you pick up that book?" Again, she sounded harsh, but doesn't mean it. Her staring and trying to make eye contact never stopped. This is how she can get a feel if someone is safe or not. so far she isn't threatened.

"Oh...okay." Riolu answered, when he heard her question he looked back at the book on the shelf. "I couldn't see the title on the spin of the book. And to be honest, I was just picking out a random book. Why?"
Riolu instinctively took a step back, hearing the harshness in the stranger's voice. He was naturally timid and this wasn't helping. True, he picked up on the fact that she wasn't meaning to but still. The tone came out harsh and that was that.
"I already know what's in that book anyway. I've read countless others similar to it so, there was no reason in purchasing it to read." Riolu added, granted he had read werewolf books before that were solely info but he knew a lot of it due to his father.

After leaving the museum Izzy wondered into the bookstore. She was looking for a good book and was hoping to find one that wasn't supernatural. She didn't know what it was with humans and the supernatural but it got annoying! Wondering toward the shelf with the W books on them she herd familiar voice. Is that Riolu? she thought as she stood still and listened. She found he was talking to an unfamiliar person, she sniffed the air Is that a Night Hunter? she asked herself. She walked toward the voices and found they were standing in front of the W section. "Hey," she greeted walking toward them. "What are you two doing?" she asked curiously.

Alex felt that she needed to loosen up a bit for this kid, so she gave a smile. "Do you often come here to read about Werewolves?" She picked up a book next to the one the boy had put down. Werewolves. Fact or Fake? She thought to herself Fact. Alex rolled her eyes a bit before she put the book back on the shelf. How do they get the information on this stuff anyway? Alex looked down at the boy, "I was just curious." She wasn't just going to come out with just unnecessary information for someone who may not care or even know truth, but then again he may know more than she does.
A voice turned Alex's head. She waited for the boy to reply to this stranger, since Alex has no idea really who these people are. Alex doesn't take well to most people, but she will give this a try, maybe be a little social.

"No, it's my first time being here. I read a lot of those books back at my old home." Riolu answered.
Riolu went silent as he heard a familiar voice. He turned to see it was Isabelle, he gave a weak smile.
"Hey Isabelle." Riolu greeted, he was about to continue when his phone went off. "Excuse me."
Riolu stuck his hand in his pocket and took out the black cellphone again. He never had time to look at the caller ID, he gave up on trying to see it before the person hung up. Opening it, he put it to his ear.
"Hello?" Riolu asked.
"Did you find her yet?" Fern's voice came from the phone, Riolu sighed.
"Fern, you just asked me that a few minutes ago..."
"You could've found her in the time frame of a few minutes." Fern's voice was bit annoyed.
"When I find her, you'll be the first I call. Okay?" Riolu could hear his older sister laugh.
"Okay, best get back to your search then. Stay out of trouble." and with that, the call was ended.
Riolu closed the device and placed it back in his pocket.
"Sorry about that. My older sister called to check on me." Riolu explained.

"It's fine it must be great to have a sibling," Izzy said voice sad. She had no older siblings and no younger either but she thought it must me wonderful. "So what are you doing here?" She asked voice mild, she had been expecting to run into someone she knew but not Riolu. "And why are you talking to her?" she asked knowing he didn't know what the Shadow Hunter was. She stared at Alex not liking her presence at all and she tried to calm down, she knew that Alex wasn't there for any reason other than they had run into each other but she still didn't like it.

Alex jumped a little when she heard the phone. She surprised herself on how jumpy she go. She, after all, is a Night Hunter and especially since her biological father was demon you'd expect a little more out of her than that. But noises and fast motions still throw her off, just a bit.
Alex listened to the phone call the boy was making.. "When I find her you'll be the first to know, okay?" When Alex heard this her curiosity spiked. it may not be anything but then again it can always be something. "No, that's fine." Alex replied to Riolu's apology, "Its not like we were in at all a real conversation." Which they weren't, yet. There was just a lot of staring on Alex's part.
Alex's gaze went back to the new girl, she is obviously not new though, but she Is to Alex. Her comment hardened Alex a little, Why is he talking to me? Alex almost snapped in guard, but since no trouble was happening why cause any? Alex could sense tension between her and this girl, why? Alex always questioned everything, not to annoy, but to figure everything out. That's how she was raised.

Riolu was confused by how these two were acting. It was as if they were expecting something to go wrong and the two of them would be part of it. People in this city sure were strange.
"Well...I'm not too sure on that." Riolu said to Isabelle's comment about siblings. "I mean....we weren't raised together all that much so...we really don't know each other well enough to dislike or really like each other."
What's with Isabelle? Riolu wondered as he stood there, listening to the questions Isabelle gave him.
"I came here to take a break from all the walking I was doing." Riolu said. "Miss....." Riolu paused, realizing he never got Alex's name. "She just came in here a moment ago and started to look at books. I asked her if some was wrong since she was kind of staring and we started to talk. Why?"

He really dosn't know! He needs to get better at that. Izzy thought to herself"She isn't normal she is a Night Hunter," Izzy said impatient. Izzy stared at Alex as if she were going to attack at her telling Riolu what she was. "I havnen't had any good run ins with her kind, hopefully this time will be different," Izzy told him as she stared at Alex. "What is your name anyway?" she asked her voice hard but curious. She glanced at Riolu for a still not believing that he hadn't know. Looking back at Alex she hoped to not get attacked and her posture was stiff and ready for a fight.

Alex liked the spunk of this girl. They looked to be the same age so naturally there was hatred already intact. Alex Was proud to be a Night Hunter, Killing off bad when needed and nothing more. Alex, being half demon and all hadn't really had a too bad of thoughts in her mind, yet. Or is that the demon side that says it isn't bad?
Alex's attention on the girl was strong and fierce, "Why haven't your run-ins been any good? started trouble? killed? My 'Kind' wouldn't have to eliminate yours if it didn't need to be." Alex slowed herself down, if she wouldn't stop with her on going mouth there was no doubt a fight would break loose and it might even be her fault.
"Well on my I.D. it says Laura, But if we are going to become all good friends," Alex's tone was sarcastic and a bit hard, but then lightened up with the last thing said, "Its really Alex." Alex turned her gaze between Riolu and then back to Isabella
"Yours?"

Riolu stood there completely dumbfounded. What in death was a Night Hunter? The young teen just stood there, what was going on? He didn't ask for any of this.
"H...Hold on." Riolu stuttered, his voice became choked. "N...no one's going to do anything. Can't...can't we all just talk and...and not accuse anyone of anything?"
His voice was choked sounding due to his illness. If he got to a point where he was nervous or frightened enough, his voice would be choked and raspy sounding. Showing that he didn't have the best track with health. He certainly was nervous right now and a good deal afraid. He had nowhere to run to if things got out of hand. No one to go to for help here. Hearing Alex's question and introduction, he looked at her.
"R...Riolu." Riolu answered, his voice still a bit choked and raspy sounding.

"Mine is Isabelle," Izzy said tone calmer but still with a bit of hardness in it. "I was just saying I have run into a few of your kind who were evil Alex. The demon side eventually took them over for some reason, but I can tell you aren't like that," she said relaxing all the way and starting to move to show that she meant what she said. "Relax, I would hope nothing is going to get out of control," she said to Riolu as she looked at him and herd the panic in the way his voice sounded. "It isn't going to get out of control is it?" she asked generally curious of what Alex planned to do.
