“Why am I even here...?” As Preston whispered longingly, nature’s breath chilled the lonely human as he sat nestled beneath his favorite tree, recalling a time when his isolation was just an impossible nightmare. He believed Eva would never disappear from his side and that they would fade together but some higher power had other plans for him and now here he was, alone. His guitar lay beside him, untouched for most of the evening. His broken wrist still hung in front of his chest however the news was that he had a few days more until it was to be removed. Vergil had been hovering over the human’s shoulder like a hawk ever since the incident at Vixen’s Keep, reminding him constantly that this world was no longer safe for the innocent and that Preston needed to be careful. Preston knew he meant well and they had become great friends. Vergil was the only good thing in his life right now but even then... it just wasn’t enough. It was like clockwork, Preston had to come her and reminisce of a time long since past. Eva loved this place and it was Preston’s access to her memory. “Eva...” He muttered, leaning against the tree and watching as the sun disappeared over the horizon, swallowed by the shadows. The air continued to cool his skin and in response he bundled up close, adjusting his tattered leather jacket. He knew it was best to head home but he couldn’t. He was too tired to even stand, too exhausted from the after effects of his medication.
Dr. Kadic had prescribed him a higher dosage ever since his run-in with that monstrous boy that literally destroyed his chance of performing at the one gig he managed to get. Jean and the rest of his crew tried their best to console Preston but it obviously wasn’t working because he was still here, pondering whether to give up on music forever. Hell, even giving up completely...
“No... I couldn’t do that.” He whispered to himself, shaking his head in disgust. Yes the thought always hung over him like a cloud but he had people in his life now that needed him and he would not allow himself to give up. He had lasted this long through the hell, he couldn’t. He may welcome death but deep down he was afraid. He was afraid of everything really!
He glanced to the guitar nestled beside him, beckoning him to play. Unfortunately he couldn’t with his wounded wrist. He could manage of a few cords but not enough; most of his time spent here was just writing music, which had not progressed at all. He hated that he was letting down his mates with this injury and lack of inspiration. If he had just let that kid leave without attempting to attack him, he wouldn’t be without his wrist or his guitar.
Preston, in his rambling thoughts couldn’t seem to focus on a single problem, there were just too many things in his head. His hands shaking nervously, he reached into his jacket pocket and removed the bottle with his pills. Popping it open he allowed a single tablet to drop down his throat. He needed to calm down before returning home to Vergil, he didn’t want to overwhelm him with his stupid problems!
“Oh Preston, why the hell are you so f*cked.” He sighed to himself, slight anger in his voice.

Oh, my my my... Savina had been having quite the day so far. The female had been getting herself caught up in all kinds of issues. They made her patience grow thin, as they were only little things that seemed to slip-up humans and humans only. Little things like "having to go to the bathroom" or "being late for lunch so cue panic attack." Silly things to get worked up over. Yet people always seemed to get caught up in the little things in life, and each and every person dragged the demonness down with them, holding her back from fulfilling her day's true potential and driving her mad. Savina didn't necessarily hate humans, they just got on her nerves was all. So fragile and feeble-minded they were. Of course, though, that did make for easy prey in the end... Rarely did Savi actually hunt people down and devour them, but when she did they always proved to be quite the easy catch. Humans were much too slow for her reptilian form, and their muscles were easily popped beneath her scales. The young woman's eyes took on a dark glint as she thought about how fun it was to play around with her prey before it went down for digestion. Human or not, the tearing of skin, the spilling of blood, and the crunching of bones always provided a satisfaction that could be found nowhere else.
Blinking away the dangerous thoughts, the temptress glanced around as she leaned against the back of the bench she sat upon. She had been sitting in the park for a short while now after the day's challenges, simply people-watching and staying out of the affairs of others that she found to be annoying and foolish. She only wanted somebody to play with was all, not somebody who would whine in her ear or babble on about insignificant matters, or what they had to do or where they had to be. People who were all work and no play were no fun in her book. She needed somebody who she could easily wrap her fingers around and twist to the point of no return. Somebody weak who could be manipulated without a second thought. Savina landed her eyes on who looked to be the perfect candidate as she looked across the park. Although it was growing dark, she could still see well enough with the last remaining rays of the sun, and the park lamps that bordered the pathways would be on soon enough to aid her in her endeavors, anyways. With supple smoothness, the young woman pulled herself up from her seat and began to walk to her target, her eyes trained on the lonesome man beneath his lonesome tree. He looked like the perfect toy.
Within moments, Savina had reached her destination, and her objective now was to make contact with the stranger. He had a handsome face, but that wasn't what caught her attention about him. It was his injured wrist that drew her in like a moth to flame, and a twisted smile threatened to appear on her soft lips as she came upon the man and stood but a foot away from him. Savi looked down, immediately turning on her charm and hiding her true intentions as her eyes skimmed over his body. She had watched him as he popped something into his mouth, and she could now see what appeared to be the outline of a pill bottle in his jacket. Considering the circumstances, she didn't think that he was simply taking vitamins. "Hello, she said quietly, her voice a low purr as she tipped her head down to him a little. His unfortunate injury was making her mind swarm with dangerous thoughts again, and she found herself beginning to wonder what this man's cries sounded like. Not simply his voice, but his cries. Briefly, her mind flashed to Jack, as she usually thought the same about him. Though by now, she was well-educated on the noises he made. Unable to hide the slight smirk on her mouth, Savi crouched down and cocked her head to one side, her dark hair tousling in the light breeze as it hung over one of her shoulders . "Are you in need of ssome company?" she asked, her "s" dragging just ever so slightly. Even if this man replied with a no, she didn't plan on leaving his side anytime soon. Her mind had gone down the shadowed path now, and there was no way for her to get back on track. Not unless she gave in to her darker desires, no matter how dark they were.
[[Omg Idek how confusing this is. I apologize in advance XDDD]]

Preston was obviously unaware at the moment of the approaching demoness a few yards away, portraying herself like a proficient predator and Preston its pathetic prey unable to escape its unfortunate fate. The human naturally grew nervous at nightfall; chills traveled along his spine as Savina entered his now shattered bubble. He believed at first it was just nerves screaming at him to ditch this haunting place and for a moment he almost listened, however a playful voice crept through the shadows like a phantom and Preston jumped in utter shock from this stranger’s soundless approach. He had not been aware that someone else shared these darkened environments for he swore that he sat alone here, nestled beneath his wooded shield. The mysterious intruder was unnaturally breathtaking and even as the curvaceous beauty addressed him mischievously Preston was speechless. His extravagant azure eyes scanned Savina however was particular not to be obvious about his cautious glances. It was hard for any man to deny a woman’s beauty even in his fragile state of mind. “H-Hello.”
Suddenly, Savina perched herself in front of Preston who was stunned by the sudden lack of space between them. A quiet gulp thundering in his adam’s apple. “Ah, I-I’m fine mi-miss.” The nervousness boiling in his belly continued to escalate as he observed this gorgeous exotic specimen. Why was she speaking to him? Was she lost? Was she possibly... supernatural? Maybe she knew Vergil? That’s impossible, Vergil wouldn’t have been on the street starved if he had an accomplice, besides you know he prefers to be alone and away from others. He muttered to himself, his bright azure eyes darting every direction nervously. Preston attempted to present himself in a more orderly fashion for he did not want to portray such rude behaviors but this woman. Was Preston just paranoid from his encounter in Vixen’s Keep?
Preston began to mumble softly, voice cracking. “I-I’m sorry, I just...” He tried to give a heart-warming grin but it came off as his famous weary half-smile. “...What are you doing h-here tonight? Taking in the night air I suppose?” His instincts were hollering for him to run away but from the looks of this pretty individual there seemed to be no danger. “T-The name is Preston... what is yours miss?” He was taken aback by her queer choice of speech but Preston was not a man to harshly judge someone, most especially a lovely lady like Savinna.
ooc; yours? Mine is everywhere XD

A tender smile made its home on the young woman's lips, though it was only there for show. She did not intend to treat this man with gentle kindness as the night went on. Savina's dark eyes glinted in the night, their chocolate depths barely visible, appearing blacker than the shadows that surrounded them as she gazed at the stranger. Her victim. A wild giggle nearly bubbled up her throat at the thought, but she kept it down, still putting on a little act for this man. The scent of his human blood enveloped her like a heavy fog, drenching her in its delectable tang. Savina was growing more and more eager for what was to come the longer she sat there crouched before him. Building up her desire to break him down. When her mind had taken such a dark turn wasn't quite certain, but she had been wavering back and forth between "acceptable" and "murderous" all day long. Looks like murderous won in the end. The man's surprise at her presence made her smile grow, and she felt her fingers itch to reach over to him as she stared him down. He seemed to be a little unstable in the emotional department. Perfect for what she needed. The brightness of his eyes battled with his shaky demeanor, and Savina couldn't help but peer at them in curiosity for a moment before she laughed quietly, her voice smooth.
"Are you sure? You look quite lonely," she mentioned, looking around at the surrounding emptiness in emphasis to her statement. Point made. The brunette settled her eyes back onto the man, tipping her head to one side after doing so. She wondered why he had a guitar laying on the ground beside him if he was incapable of playing it. By the looks of his well-wrapped injury, he wouldn't be able to manuever his fingers to play the chords no matter how he held the instrument. He must have had a deep dedication to the object, but as she eyes lowered to look around again for the briefest of moments, she noticed he didn't have anything else that would give away his work on music. No notes, no books, nothing. Shrugging it off mentally, Savina placed her gaze back onto the brightly-eyed man, her predatory desires kicking in once more as she watched his Adam's apple bob with each and every gulp he managed to drag down. Her easy-going smile sharpened slightly at this despite her hold on herself, and she drew in a deep breath, savoring his fleshy smell as he spoke again. His wobbly voice reminded her of a helpless child, though he was more a frightened lamb than anything. Weak, small, and utterly defenseless against those looking to devour it. Savi nodded in response to his question, playing him just a little longer before she decided to let her true nature be known.
With a soft chuckle, Savina answered the man, her pearly whites shining even in the darkness as her lips parted and they showed. "I guess you could say that," she answered, her eyes never leaving the poor man's face. He introduced himself as Preston, and Savina smiled even wider than before, her pretty face fitting the gesture with ease. "I am Sssavina," she replied silkily, finally allowing her fingers some give as she reached out with one hand and lightly fixed a stray strand of hair of his. She trailed her slender hand down the side of his face, pausing just below his jawline and feeling his pulse radiate beneath her bones. It pumped strongly and quickly, and her gaze darkened as her smile lost its friendly edge. She wasn't going to be able to hold herself back for much longer. Blinking at the man, Savi kept her one hand beneath his jaw as her other snaked up to his injured wrist and played on the exterior of it with a feather light touch. She didn't want just his wrist to be wrapped like this. She wanted his entire body to be broken. She wanted it all to be put into a cast. Why? Because rarely did she kill for fun. She killed when necessary. She played the rest ofthe time. For those unfortunate enough to be caught in her clutches when she was in such a mindset as this like poor, poor Preston, she gave them something to wake up with. What's the fun of having a toy if you can only use it once? Savina grinned dangerously at Preston, her eyes flashing. "Tell me... Are you a fast runner?" she asked, her voice dripping with poison.
[[No, yours was awesome! But **** man, that signature you have... The feels, the feels Dx]]

Like calming storm, Preston relaxed as the lovely beauty gazed at him, almost swallowing his weak heart whole in the haunting silence. The pathetic victim was unnaturally forgiving as Savina imposed on his personal bubble, her dastardly innocence portrayed like a sweet child nestled within the lovely green shades of grass. He no longer sensed no fault in her. She was peculiar yes but naivety and his friendly nature betrayed his gut feeling still screaming for his to escape. He knew he was paranoid with what had transpired throughout his life but blowing caution to the wind had given him Vergil, the best friend a man could ask for. He was practically Preston’s brother for they had lived under the same roof longer than anyone friend. Eva had been his love, Vergil was his dearest friend. Preston although could not imagine finding another woman to love for it never occurred to him... he didn’t want to loose anyone else. As he pondered quietly, the thoughts and fears returned however he was pulled from them as the lovely Savina addressed him. “N-no, I’m fine. I am usually alone.” Stupid. Stupid Preston, you never say that to someone, even if they mean you no harm. He mentally struck himself. He needed to be vigilant at all times. Yes this woman seemed gentle but he recalled the young man at Vixen’s Keep who seemed equally innocent before cutting down dozens of people for his own sick fantasies. His arm was encased because of that youthful lunatic!
“Nice to meet you... S-Savina.” The pitiful scapegoat dashed his cerulean eyes as Savina fiddled with a lone thread protruding from the side of his head; he jerked from her unanticipated proximity almost shooting to his feet to retreat. What was wrong with him?! Did she honestly pose a threat to him? She possibly was an open flirt; however the deep shadows and overbearing sense of loneliness did not help. “
During his mental ramblings, a poignant connection converged delicately to the corners of his face as her pastel finger glided mischievously, cupping beneath the jaw line while the other swayed dangerously close to his wounded arm; he had been deceived. It was obvious now to the trusting Preston that he foolishly dug his earthen prison. Dabs of sweat trickled shamelessly and he stuttered to protest but nothing escaped the poor male’s lips as he sat absolutely horrified of what was to happen. Savina’s toxic declaration sent tremors through his tortured shell and he hopelessly jerked to escape her serpentine clutches. “Please, S-Savina. I...” He croaked, voice trembling in fear.
ooc; 'nother eh post. Oh, and gotta love the feels xD

The kindness that had once been a mask on Savina's face was now but a memory. Twisted enjoyment now took its place, her lips curling at the corner and stretching wide from cheek to cheek. Her eyes filled with a dangerous light, and a crazed giggle burst from her lips as she watched Preston react to her touch. Oh, surely he must enjoy the feel of a woman against his bare skin. What man didn't? Savina knew from past encounters that even married men succumbed to her fingertips as they glided against their flesh. Her touch could make quite the number of the opposite sex fall into her hands as stable as a tower of jelly. But this man, Preston, was stronger than that, although many would overlook that fact and call him weaker because of his fear. But that was what he had that many others didn't. The knowledge that the temptress before him wasn't here for pleasure, but pain. His insticts would be of no help to him though. He was as vulnerable as a fawn. Savina leaned in close to Preston, gliding her tongue up from the back corner of his jaw to his temple as he spoke, a smirk tugging on one side of her mouth in the same moment. "Pleeeaaasssse? Pleassse what, Pressston?" she murmured against his ear, her hand that was on his wrist tightening some to tell him to stop his movements.
Letting out a low hum, the demonic being pulled back just enough to lock her eyes with Preston's. "Please, let's find out?" Savina giggled again and nodded softly, her dark gaze laced with poison as she drew back more. "I think that ssoundsss like a brilliant idea. Right?" she asked him, though of course she expected no response. She almost meant for it to be left hanging there in the air around them. Lowering her hand that had been resting against his pulse, she placed it against his chest for a moment, holding it there right over his heart as her other hand tightened its grip further around his wrist, her fingers now digging into the tender area and breaking through the protective wrapping. Smiling contently for a second, every trace of malice that had been on her face disappeared, leaving her face completely sweet and serene as she looked down to her hand on his chest. Another face of hers that was so easily deceiving to its viewers. If anybody had been passing by the two right now, the whole scene probably would have actually looked a little... Sweet... And intimate. But in a flash her insanity was back, and the possibility of that image blew away like dust in the wind. She was here to play games, yes, but not those kinds of games.
"Hmm... But running makes your kind tire so quickly, and I do not want to have you falling asleep on me..." she said quietly in thought, her hand on his chest now playing with the fabric of his shirt as she mused around. His struggling was getting him nowhere, for she had him pinned against the tree trunk quite well by now, and her hold on his injury was sure to put him back a few paces. She may not be the strongest, but she had her ways to manuever around that little downfall of hers. Savina lifted her gaze back up to Preston and flashed him a mischevious grin, her lithe body moving sinuously as she pulled herself up into a standing position. Her fingers remained clutched to the poor human man, and the ones that were twined within his shirt snagged at the threads a little. The young woman laughed quietly beneath her breath and ran her fingers over the damaged fabric. She was imagining doing the same thing all over again, just this time intentionally, more deeply, and in his skin. "Oops," she lightly quipped, her mood wavering between light and giddy and dark and malicious. The young woman's mind was a swirl right now, and it was clouded over undeniably by bloodlust.

Preston strained from the agonizing discomfort escalating within seconds as Savina clawed her dainty fingernails around the fragile mold, fracturing the little defense he had left from this powerful siren. He could feel the fragile bone marrow stiffen from the force, causing him to utter a low groan with teeth gritting in an attempt to silence the screams trying to escape. The pitiful human was sure that this toxic beauty was more than what she appeared; he could never view this world’s inhabitants the same way since discovering Vergil, among many others littering the streets of New Orlands. Fear choked him as he sat in utter stillness trying not to satisfy her sadistic need to watch him squirm beneath her. Panic ensued as he realized his only protection had been left behind at his apartment: the pistol he had used during the slaughter at Vixen’s Keep. Although, considering quickly, the weapon of blissful ignorance would have aided him as much as it did with the young male with the gigantic sword: not at all. Savina was not human, that much Preston was sure of.
He tried to wriggle away but was immediately shoved against the tree that had emotionally protected him for years and now it would be the setting to his downfall. Would this poisonous temptress kill him? She seemed deeply aroused by pain but that did not stop such people from slaughtering their victims. As Preston stared in horror, her visage seemed to step backward and her eyes glittered with childlike satisfaction as if finding her favorite toy within the abyss. It was distressing how disturbed this seductive woman truly was; he just watched in awe as the sinister woman twisted his pleas to sickening plea of pleasure, as if he wanted this terrible situation to continue. Another overbearing surge of agony pulled Preston from his imagination as Savina continued to tear through the cast, living little behind. He could feel her exquisite flesh grazing along his own prickling skin. He tightened his free fist, battling hopelessly to not give in to her villainous thrill. It was becoming more and more difficult as time passed and a second moan stuttered itself from his trembling lips.
A malevolent index finger began to fondle with the fabric of his shirt before the overbearing form began to rise steadily, domineering his very essence. Preston winced in horror as the brunette beauty tore at his clothing, exposing him to the dark elements of the night that seemed to christen this entire moment with a haunting fog that clouded any chance of escape for the victim. Although this sudden idea was most obviously not the best, it was all he had. “S-Savina please. I-I will not tell anyone of this just please let m-me go.” He wanted to be home with his roommate Vergil, slouched on the sofa without a care in the world. He wished not to add more images to his already overloaded mental library.

Oh, this was going to be just too much fun! The dark grin that pulled at the woman's lips held a trace of delusional amusement in it as her eyes flickered from Preston's torn shirt to his face. Savina slowly tilted her head to the side, standing perfectly still before the man as he stuttered out his pleas. Not tell anyone? Let him go? Was some of her madness rubbing off on the human? Savi chuckled lowly, beginning to shake her head from side to side. When she was finished with him, he wasn't going to be able to say a thing about this night's events no matter how badly he wanted to. And if he did manage to slip something out, she wasn't worried about it. She would just shut him up another way. "I don't think so," she said with an eerily content smile on her face. She allowed her gaze to fall back down to her fingers as she played with the frayed fabric between them, and slowly yet firmly, she began to take small steps forward, moving both herself and Preston back toward the tree. Roughly, she pushed him to the trunk in the final couple of inches, feeling with internal glee as his back made contact with the wood. She wasn't using much strength, but humans were easily manipulated once everything they did turned backwards.
"Why would you want me to let you go?" she purred out mournfully. "Do you want to leave me?" The young woman flashed her dark eyes back up to the poor man. She could see how unstable he was, the whirlwind of emotions that swirled behind his eyes. Switching her acting skills back on, Savina blinked her big eyes up at him, and tenderly bit down onto her lower lip as she suggestively pressed her curvaceous body closer to his. She was going to grind him down to nothing, both physically and mentally. "Please, I... I'm sorry, I'm just... so alone..." she cried out softly, her velvety lips twisting into a pout as she looked back down to her hands against his chest. How quickly she shifted from deranged to helpless. It made a laugh boil in her chest as she continued playing her toy, pulling her little acts on him. It was a shame Preston had had the terrible luck of catching her attention. Savina suddenly splayed her fingers on both hands and ran them down the man's chest, trailing them even further south until they hit the roadblock that was the lining of his pants. She played with the break in fabric and skin for a moment before dipping her fingers beneath the material as quick as a lightning strike. A low hum built in her throat as she quickly drew her digits back upward, now curling them so her fingernails raked against his body in a light and teasing manner. She had slipped her hands beneath his shirt, and she could feel how... Vulnerable his skin was. It made another smile appear on her lips.
Deviously, the demonness began to trace circles onto Preston's chest and stomach as she slid her gaze back up to him. She fluttered her eyelashes and ran her knee up and down along the inside of his thigh. So many different signals she was giving off tonight, she would be genuinely surprised if Preston could keep up with her rapidly shifting tactics. Barely she herself could keep up with them. "Sso... Will you stay with me? Or will I have to make you?" she murmured lowly, a smirk on her lips. She drifted one of her hands back down to Preston's injured wrist and resumed her previous actions against the tender area as she kept her other hand working deliciously at the flesh on his torso and she reached her lips up to his. She paused her face just a few centimeters away, just as many emotions twirling in her eyes as in his, although hers were very different in origin and intent. She allowed her smirk to grow into a breathtaking grin as she bounced back from the hopeless vibe she had been giving off just moments before, her long hair bouncing lightly as she tilted her head from one side to the other. Her eyes stayed glued on him like a predator's to its prey, and she kept herself pressed firmly against him so as to make any escape attempts of his a little more difficult to attempt than in comparison to if she had just been standing there limply like a dead fish. Unfortunately for him, she did not plan on losing poor Preston tonight.
Sorry this took SO long, and sorry if it's confusing and stuff. I'm trying to keep it from getting too god-moddy, but... Yeah, just hope this is okay!
