Tonight would be a dark night for quite a few number of people. Anyone who got in the way of the deadly night devils would suffer a heavy price, simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was unfortunate, but such as life...and such as death as well. And there were a couple devils willing to invite Death upon a poor little town. The town was so peaceful and calm. Very little happened, and that certainly needed to change. It was a remote town, a far enough distance from the larger city...help would not come quick enough for the poor unfortunate souls who dwelled here.
Malakor would be the ringleader of the calamity that would fall upon the town tonight. He was free from the vices of his drugs for the moment. How long would it be before his family rounded him up? Forced him to take his medication? Who knew. Until then he would enjoy every last second of having a clear mind. He would also enjoy every second of spreading misery to anyone who got caught in his wake. Of course, he wasn't alone tonight. No, tonight, he had with him the female he had been Bonded with. It was only a matter of time before he wiggled his way into the dark recesses of her mind. She was no different than him. Violet. She was just as twisted as he was, just as murderous and lustful for the blood of others. Yes, she was perfect. Yet, she was a vile thing, a mutt who could so easily be manipulated and bent towards his will. Although, to her credit, it did take some doing to get her to...agree to his activities. Mal could only try to control her in their sleep, when he was clear of mind, and she was ripe for the picking. He had wiggled his way into her dreams, turned such pleasant thoughts into ones of terror that it simply broke her enough to wiggle in farther. Mal spoke to his dear Violet, convinced her to switch his medication, make it seem like he took it, when he really hadn't. He had done this a few times before, but this was the first time it had actually worked, and it may not happen for a long while. Also when he spoke to her, he drug out a dark piece of Violet back with him as they returned to the waking world. He had waited to see if his sweet Violet was...well, not quite so sweet and quiet. To his absolute delight, he could see the darkness in her emerging, promising such a wonderfully evil adventure.
And here they were now, just on the outskirts of their target. They had traveled from their home all the way here, their minds swimming with such gruesome ideas. Mal was in his human form at the moment, dressed in his typically dark attire. His dark hair was tussled up, the purple tips in his hair being one of the few things that could be seen on him. His eyes glowed a deep burnt orange color, and a wicked smile curled on his lips.
"So, sweet Violet of mine," Malakor growled huskily, turning his head to look at the smaller figure of his female companion. "Are you excited?" He chuckled, looking towards the quiet town before taking a few steps towards his companion. "Not scared are you?" He said with another wicked grin, reaching a hand towards her as he scratched lightly underneath her chin affectionately. Malakor chuckled once more and turned back towards the town. "Now...how to begin I wonder? There are few people out it would seem...shall we invade a home and have some quiet fun there? Or shall we take this town by storm? Decisions, decisions it would seem. He pondered aloud, crouching down in the grass some, scanning the streets carefully.
