As the sun began to head its way down back toward the horizon for the remainder of the day, Elijah walked along the sidewalk, making his way closer and closer to Lake Pontrain. He yawned quietly, his bright blue eyes lingering on every passing woman he happened to move by. Licking his lips quickly, he could still taste the cherry-flavored lip gloss on his mouth from earlier that day. Ah, well... What could he say? The girl was on him like a moth to light. Chuckling quietly, Eli allowed his mind to wander for a moment as he kept his strides steady. Women were so... Easy to tangle, if one would. Especially the weak-minded human ones. So many of them had that silly little idea in their head that they would one day meet that prince charming of theirs and be swept off their feet and carried away into blissful oblivion. Now, Eli could at least sweep them off their feet for a night. And perhaps send them into an oblivion best known as, well, death if he wanted to consume their soul. A low hunger burned away in the pit of his heart. Not his stomach, as one would think. In his chest, where he consumed and absorbed the very life-force of others. Now some may say that such a creature as he didn't really have an actual heart, but, well... That wasn't entirely true. Though he was a demon he did have such a bothersome organ. It's not like he used it, though.
Eli had only felt his heart beat purely once. Well, as pure as a demon's own heart could get. The woman he was with at the time... She was special, to say the least. Undoubtedly human, and much too easy to kill. Such a shame, he would've kept her around longer if he had had the choice and chance. But he was such a young, inexperienced fool at the time. It was amazing she stayed alive as long as she did that fateful night. But that was many, many years ago. To think about her was bringing up ancient history, something that Elijah rarely did anymore. He knew it was ridiculous to even consider the thought of feeling such a thing ever again. Even others who had the trade of seduction as he couldn't get his heart bleeding so heavy with desire again. Sometimes such a thought went to the male's head. He had many years under his belt, and they could easily find their way into his mind and make him feel as if he was some invincible master. An amusing thought, really. He was just as vulnerable as everybody else when he didn't take care of himself. But he was much too proud to admit it. Even if he happened to end up on the ground, curled into himself with his hands tearing at his hair and his teeth gritted, he wouldn't admit that he had fallen to the level of others and their silly little pities.
A crisp breeze began to pick up, carrying along with it the smell of fresh water and sand. With a slow gait the young man walked closer toward the lake, watching as it came into view. The sun's setting reflection on the waves was a breathtaking sight. The many different colors that all played together danced radiantly in the man's eyes. He kept walking, going straight for the water it would seem. Even as his feet hit the sand and began to sink with each step he still kept his strides smooth. A low yawn escaped his mouth as he finally reached the edge, the line between land and water. Elijah glanced down, watching as the water dared to reach the toes of his shoes. He was standing just far enough away that it didn't touch. Looking back up with a faint smirk playing on his lips, the incubus allowed his gaze to wander for a moment. He was surprised to see that there was barely anybody else here. It wasn't a cold day, and the breeze was warm and comforting, even with the sun beginning to set. The lack of company didn't bother him much, though. He wasn't the type that needed constant companionship. Just give him somebody for the night and he was set. With a quiet sigh Eli shoved his hands into his jacket pockets and turned, preparing to continue walking down the shoreline. He didn't have any plans tonight, as of yet.

Beneath the crystal azure waters of Lake Pontrain, a dark mass was submerged beneath, away from wandering eyes as the small groups of innocents sauntered along the shores of Lyric’s domain. In her Kelpie form, she raised her equine eyes through the rippling lake and observed each body that strolled by, eyeing for a possible snack. She was no required to feed for another week or two however she was bored and the few things that saturated her nuisances was sex or food, and she had satisfied one a few hours ago before returning to her sanctuary to rejuvenate herself for she had spent quite a bit of time away from her bonding pool so she needed to rekindle that severed relationship by purifying Pontrain, which she had finished just moments ago. Her hooves cut through the water as she fluttered her fish tail to propel herself closer to the cattle above to possibly get a closer look.
As she emerged from the depths, the blue seemed to peel away her Kelpie form, revealing a human head rising from the sapphire water, her auburn hair glittering from the silky liquid against her luscious locks and she began to cautiously scan the edge, spotting a few souls that would keep her appetite satisfied. Then, her emerald irises caught sight of a peculiar man strolling through the green grasses, his stare very familiar to her own as she swam there silently hunting for prey. She could not deny his handsome looks which was what snatched her eyes away from the innocents beginning to scurry off the plains of the lake, almost leaving these two people alone. As he approached the shore line, she retreated her form back into her familiar territory and began to swim closer to Elijah, transforming herself into her complete human female form, although she was without proper attire so she found it best to stay beneath as she drew closer to him. Scanning, she watched with curious eyes as he stayed between the sand and the sea, his toes barely escaping the tides. Hm, how would she play this? She wanted to know who he was for a rather unexplainable reason and it wasn’t just from her needs, but something else beckoning her to him. Thankfully, she still had almost all her wits about her.
Let’s try this... She giggled, heading towards the surface a few yards away from Eli to begin her act. Suddenly, she breached the water and began to climb from the deep blue, clawing into the muddy earth, as if exhausted. Her naked buxom form crawled farther and farther up until she was completely out of the water. She huffed for a moment before growing still in the grass, her sparkling rump decorated with wet droplets as she lay motionless.
ooc; hope this post is okay lol
