APPLICATION NOTIFICATION Hello Reality Shift! This is the application notification thread. Please be sure to link the application you are referring to! You will post here with your CHARACTER ACCOUNT if: You are finished with your character application, so staff know when to check it. Your message will be deleted in this thread and you will receive either an accepted or declined reply to your app, followed by a Personal Message of what needs to be fixed in the case of a decline. If declined, simply edit your application as needed and post back here again! Once accepted, your app will be moved to the appropriate sub-board in the Accepted Applications board.  You need to pull your application out of the Accepted Applications board in order to add edits to it. In this case, when you have finished, you must REPOST your notification here and your bio will be re-evaluated by a staff member. You would like to pull your application out of the Application Archives. You have any other application-related necessity. You need to add your faceclaim/playby to the list, or your character species (which all new applications need to do) In any case, your message will be deleted once it has been seen, so don't think you are being ignored. [b]Species Name: Fairy[/b]

Over time, Fairies have adapted to fit in best. They appear human, and are graceful creatures. Their image comes in all shapes and sizes, both male and female, and you couldn't tell they were a fairy unless you had the ability to distinguish their scent, or saw their wings. The only thing that makes them look any different are the tattoo's that come on their backs. The tattoo forms usually when the fairy turns 7. This tattoo represents their wings when they are not revealed. They come in all different designs and colors, according to personalities and affinities for certain abilities, when their wings are unfurled, they are fairly transparent and shimmer the same color as the tattoo that is on their back. Fairies age normally until reaching full maturity, around 20-25 for men, 18-23 for women, and then their aging process slows to about 3x slower than a normal human.

Abilities:: Fairies can fly, and depending on what abilities their parents have, their abilities run along the same line. (i.e. if a father had an affinity for air, and a mother for fire, the child would have one, or both abilities in some way). They can inherit a number of other abilities, better vision, or smell, their abilities could be stronger, depending on how pure the bloodline is. Nature always seems to thrive when fairies are around, flowers blooming brighter or trees growing taller or grass is more full, all in all, healthier. Fairies also heal 3x faster than a normal human.

Weaknesses:: Fairies are especially weak to iron substances. They do not thrive in city landscapes, and their powers tend to grow weaker the longer they remain in a place with more iron than nature.

Traits:: Fairies do not eat meat, preferring a plant based diet. They prefer a nature setting for their homes, most choosing to live in the middle of nowhere. Their personalities range between proud and cruel, to timid and shy, kind, they are more human in this aspect. Most though, do consider themselves better than humans, even if it is not in a proud way, they just learned to accept this fact.
