Seraphina 16 ● Female ● Heterosexual ● Civilian ● Solaris SPECIES INFORMATION Abilities ✔ Can create fire and heat from nothing. ✔ Fire power increases whenever she is around fire. ✔ Fire resistant. ✔ Difficult to kill by conventional means. ✔ Is capable of summoning a phoenix. Weaknesses ✘ Water being the opposite of fire really puts a damper on her natural abilities. ✘ While she has these amazing fire powers physically she is no different from a human. ✘ Vulnerable to magic (with the exception of magicked weapons. ✘ Phoenix summoning as a very draining process, Sera becomes a lot weaker physically when she summons it. (Taken directly from the species list) These are similar to Fire Elementalists. However, unlike them, a Solaris can create heat and fire. They do not need to be around the element, though being around it gives them more strength. Great Solari have been known to be able to at summon Phoenixes, and like these mythical birds, Solari cannot be killed, except by magic. (Magical weapons don’t count.) They are not affected by heat. They appear human, except that they often have red or yellow eyes. Despite never having any kind of training, or even knowing that she wasn't human when growing up, Seraphina is pretty skilled at using her fire powers. With a lot of effort and testing around Sera can summon flames or manipulate fire at her leisure. Surprisingly enough she doesn't use her powers as much as you would think. When it comes to fighting Sera prefers using her fist rather than a fireball to get the job done, especially when it comes to fighting humans. She only uses her firepowers as a last resort, or if she rather scare ignorant fools rather than fight them. While Sera is capable of summoning a phoenix currently she has no idea that she can do so. Seraphina is well known for causing trouble. She can always be found punching the crap out of people out in the streets in the dead of night. Sera loves to fight, even as a child she loved beating up the big boys for teasing her or picking on her friends. She will find any excuse just to get into a fight, most of the time that excuse ends up being to save someone. As violent as she is Sera cares enough about people to stand up for the weak and vulnerable. If you are ever in trouble you can count on Sera to be there to save your sorry butt. That kindness at least makes up for all of her faults...or at least that is what she would like to believe. Even if it didn't it wouldn't be any skin off of her nose. APPEARANCE The Basics ✔ Long white hair. ✔ Crimson eyes ✔ Is at the average height for girls her age (between 5'5-5'6 tall). ✔ Slender build ✔ Seraphina is a tomboy at heart so she dresses for the most part like a boy. Simple shirts and pants (the baggier the better) are the kind of clothing she will pick out. Her fashion sense, if you can call it that, is pretty odd. While she dresses like a guy the only girlly thing she likes is ribbons. Sera always has ribbons in her hair. Interesting Features ✘ Because she is very pale, has white hair, and red eyes Sera looks like an albino. ✘ The ribbons in her hair mean a lot more to her than she lets on. Sera's first friend liked to put ribbons in her hair, so in honor of her memory Sera keeps them. ✘ Like any overactive kid Sera has earned herself plenty of little scars on her from her past shenanigans. ✘ While Sera doesn't think so she does look very pretty. MISCELLANEOUS INFO OCCUPATION: Steals for a living. POSITION: N/A STATUS: Seraphina keeps her true identity a secret from the public, even the PIDA who know that she isn't human don't know what she is. EXTRAS: Seraphina is an orphan. She was left at an orphanage when she was too young to even remember her parents. She had been a little troublemaker even back as a little runt. She constantly got into fights and treated her elders with disrespect. She had always been picked on by the other kids because of her appearance. The only friend she ever had was a sickly girl that lived in the orphanage with her. One day when some of the other kids were picking on her and her friend Sera's powers awakened and she accidentally burned and killed some of her bullies, and even hurt her friend. Sera ran away from the orphanage after that incident, fearing what she had done and what would happen if she returned. As the girl grew up she learned how to control her powers and eventually found out what she was. She still doesn't know anything about her parents, or the fact that she has two younger sibilings living in New Orlands.
