APPEARANCE

Sitara stands at about 5'4". Not tall, but not quite short. Her demeanor is deceiving -- she stands tall and acts even taller, so it may come as a shock to many to learn her true height. There is bountiful energy packed into such an average body. She is not a toothpick, but isn't heavy-set either. She's just a normal looking girl with medium length black hair, long limbs, tan skin that glows in the dark, and irises that change to every colour of the rainbow depending on her emotions. She has a bright smile and light freckles that dot her entire face. They can be tricky to see from a distance, but once noticed they won't go ignored. Sitara always wears a smile, and exudes positivity in everything that she does. It's difficult to be upset around this girl, especially when she dances around barefoot in her galaxy-printed dresses.

SPECIES

Sitara is a Star Child.

Star Children are sentient stars in the universe that are born to other stars. Not born in the typical sense, but created by other stars. They have a custom much different from humans, but they all care for each other. Most stars are star children, and are able to develop their own physical forms that suit whichever planet they wish to visit. When given permission by their superior stars to visit a planet, they will take on a plain Jane appearance in a body that much mimics the planet's dominant life force. They are monitored by the ruling stars, though, and will be forced to return home to their star tribes if they act out against the laws of the planet they visit. They have a thick, unidentifiable accent no matter what language they speak to humans, and they tend to know every language (including the languages of the non-dominant species) on the planet they visit. They will tend to know much of its history, too, but when it comes to social etiquette, they are very lacking. They know what most things mean when being spoken to, but don't always know what an "arm" or "hot chocolate" or such is. Star Children are the age of a star, so billions, and they have abilities pertaining to light manipulation, fire manipulation, extremely warm to the touch skin, changing irises with their emotions, flying, knowing the alignment of the stars at someone's birth (and often their names, too), speeding photosynthesis, and anything based around these factors. They are very prone to mental illnesses due to their easily influenced and undeveloped personalities. They can die any way the form they take on can (in this case, any way a human can), except for diseases. They can get any disease, but it will go away eventually and will not kill them. Star Children also will be ripped from their host bodies if words spoken to them are too hostile or mean for too long.




ABILITIES

Star Children are stars, but by no means normal. They are sentient stars that communicate with other stars, get to know each other, interact amid the boundless expanse of space. Sitara happened to fall from the Lupus constellation, though the star appears present still because the light has yet to disappear from where Sitara once was. Sitara was sent to Earth after constant begging, for she had watched Earth since it formed. The girl was promised repercussions and a forced homecoming should she cause too many problems on Earth, though the stars themselves do not have "right" and "wrong" per se, so consequently Sitara doesn't either. Her powers are varied; ranging from light manipulation, fire manipulation, creating illusions from the light, speeding plant growth, flying, becoming a flaming behemoth of solar hell. Yanno. Basic badassery. She hardly ever uses her powers though, except for knowing the names of humans and their birthdays.

HISTORY

Was a star... Is now a star in a human's body on Earth. She's been here for about 3 years, with Gabriel Cole and the Cole family.
