This didn’t seem real. She had to be dreaming! Catherine didn’t want to believe she was capable of such destruction, but yet she was sitting in the evidence. As much as she wished for her tears to stop they didn’t. She just had to go and slip up! If she stayed at the woods like she originally planned then none of this would be happening right now. The worst Cat would have had to endure was sticks and leaves in her hair, and that was nothing compared to this. She actually killed someone, murdered them in cold blood like a viscous beast.
Suddenly, something started the crying girl. Catherine visibly jumped when someone called out to her. “h-huh?” Cat looked over to see the door to the bathroom swing open. She immediately pulled her legs to her chest in a futile attempt to cover up. A spark of happiness soon filled those hazel eyes of her as Mae appeared. The tall man draped his jacket over her, and even pushed her hair out of her face. The woman just sat there in awe. How did he survive? All his kindness went unnoticed for the moment, the woman was just happy to see that he was still alive.
Catherine quickly wiped her tears from her eyes. She then peered up at Mae. Was he really here? She didn’t kill him after all!? Wait, how did he get into the bathroom if the door was locked? The woman quickly got her answer. The man vanished. Confused Catherine sat up and looked around. w-were did he go? she clutched the jacket and pulled it closed. Maybe she did kill him and he came back as a ghost?! No, that couldn’t be it. He’d just picked put a jacket around her and even pushed her hair out of her face. Ghost can’t do that, right? Cat mulled this thought over. Before she thought he was some average human, he looked and smelled like one. It seemed that she was wrong. This brought Cat to a very startling conclusion. So if this man wasn’t human, then what was he?
As quickly as Mae disappeared he reappeared again. This time he had a drink in his hand. Catherine couldn’t believe her eyes! She was happy he was alive, but why was he being so kind to her? “T-thanks…” Cat shakily took the water from Mae’s hand. After popping the top off she began to sip the cool ice cold water. If felt nice sliding down her throat. It was just the thing she needed to wash the taste of blood out of her mouth. With a smile Cat staggered to her feet all the while holding the jacket close to her. If this wasn’t embarrassing then nothing else was. Not only was she nude, but her wolf decided to take a piss near the door. Mae had to have seen it, if not smell it. Sometimes Catherine wished she could just bury her head in the sand and stay there. That would spare her from the utter embarrassment she had to go through right now.
A light blush took over her lovely face. “S-sorry you had to see that, Mae” Cat said as she turned to Maewynn. Her deep hazel orbs looked the man up and down before she spoke. "I'm happy you're alive..." She then reached out and poked the man’s chest. Yes, he was solid. So he couldn’t have been a ghost like she thought before. Cat was a bit surprised to see that he was smiling. Even after all that he has done he still wanted to smile? Apart of her was thankful that Mae was as calm as he was. Cat wished she could be more like him; Smile even if the situation looked bleak. With a low sigh Catherine spoke again. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”

After she had apologized, he shook his head. "Don't apologize for something that is outside of your power. It's almost like you're saying 'sorry' for being wet while swimming." The male was slightly taken back as she poked his chest. He remained silent as she remarked his survival. 'Yea, Alive.' Maewynn mentally locked those feelings away. Now wasn't the time to be reminiscent.
"No." He replied, softly. "You hadn't hurt me." There was a small hint of relief in his voice. He was just happy that she had been brought back to her regular state of mind. Through out a majority of his life, he's been running. No one could be trusted as there was no one worthy of it. However, this woman was different. He held back a small shiver, while he thought about his future. 'Maybe they're not searching for me here... Maybe they wouldn't come this far... ' He left his daydreaming state, and looked back into her eyes.
"Well... you're, uhm, not exactly appropriately dressed for the public eye. So, follow me." He took her hand and guided her out of the bathroom, to the gas station's parking lot. One of these cars would most likely have clothing that would fit her... It's just a matter of finding it.
"Hold on." He let go of her hand and vanished. The jumper reappeared inside one of the cars not far from Cat, frantically searching through it. When he had found nothing, he appeared in another vehicle, until finally, He had discovered a large suitcase in the back of a large car. Maewynn reappeared beside Cat and set the suitcase down. He knelt down and open the locks with a small 'click'. Opening it up, he found exactly what he needed: Female clothing.
"If none of this works, I'd be more than happy to take you to a store or mall of some sort." He said, now standing "I've noticed a small town not far from here.

Maewynn was far too kind. He didn’t blame Catherine for what she did, nor did he accuse her of being a monster. This knowledge seemed to shock the Werewolf. She really didn’t understand why this man being was so kind to her, especially after what had happened. It was a bit strange to say the least. But, as strange as it was Mae did help her out. Suppose she should just be thankful that he was there. “Y-yeah…” She replied. Oh, the look on his face after she poked him was rather humorous. Cat had to stifle a laugh.
The strange human finally explained that he wasn’t injured. Oh, what a load had been taken off Catherine’s shoulders. The she-wolf could breathe a sigh of relief. Just knowing that this man was okay brought a smile to her face. Cat then looked back down at her blood stained hands, when she did so her feelings of happiness faded. More questions began to surface. If this blood wasn’t his, then who did it belong too? And should she really care at this point? As long as her friend was safe it wouldn’t matter, right? A pang of guilt began to rush through the small girl’s nude frame. How could she even think like that? Catherine was beginning to act like the creatures the PIDA locked away.
While wallowing in her own angst she failed to notice Maewynn’s strange behavior. If she had then she would have asked him about it. Cat was one to pry into others business, but not really let anyone in her own. Little did she know her new acquaintance was absolutely paranoid. The man thought someone was after him. If only she had known, then she would have tried her best to help him.
Apart of Cat wanted to stay in that dark bathroom. It was safe in there. Her hazel eyes looked back at the destroyed latrine. Looking it up and down as if she hadn't already got a good look at it. Cat’s mind urged her to go back, but her body wouldn’t move. Maybe she should have stayed in there? That would have been for the best, right? But then again, someone would have come across her eventually. This was something The Were needed to take in consideration. What if a human recognized her from the night before and tried to shoot her? It had happened once before. She could only hope it wouldn’t happen again.
The she-wolf was snapped back to reality as Maewynn spoke. His kind voice seemed to calm the once frantic woman. This kinda human was just the thing she needed. His words held the truth. Cat wasn’t in any condition to be walking around in public. The girl looked down and a light blush took over her cheeks. The kind man’s jacket did come in handy but it didn’t cover everything. “Y-yeah I know.” Catherine didn’t fight Mae when he grabbed her hand and lead her away. Curious, the woman followed him out into the parking lot. Where were they going to go? This gas station was out in the middle of nowhere! There weren’t too many options for them, unless one of the cars parked outside belonged to him. Then again did he really need a car? She saw him teleport before. Could he do it again, or was there some sort of limit?
Her previous suspicions about him where quickly shot down as she realized the reason why he locked her into the bathroom. She wasn't the least bit angry about it. But rather thankful. With her fuzzy memory she could recall seeing his face before total darkness. So Maw teleported her to the bathroom and locked her inside? Man, this human was a real life saver (literally). If it wasn't for him who knows how many people could have lost their lives.
Once Mae stopped the curious werewolf looked up at him. The man told her to stay put. Cat nodded and released Mae’s hand just as he began to teleport away. For a moment Cat had the feeling that he wasn’t going to come back. Why should he? What could he possibly benefit from helping her? It didn’t make any since. Perhaps this man wasn’t as bad as she thought. Right as Catherine was about to doubt herself Mae made his appearance. He had a suitcase in hand. Cat cocked her head to the side as the man popped the case open and turned to her. He explained that if the cloths weren’t good enough that he would take her to the mall or something. His words surprised Catherine. “Y-you’re too kind…”
With a smile Cat replied. “N-no, this will do. “ As much as she wanted to go shopping she just couldn’t bring herself to tell this man yes. He had already done so much for her already. The woman knelt down and grabbed what she could before retreating to the back side of the building. After a quick change she realized the cloths she got where a bit too big for her. Oh well, she would deal with it. The woman tied the string that held the shorts together tight before looking down at her plus sized shirt. It was very kind of this man to help her. But what did he want? Surely he couldn’t be doing all this for the kindness of his heart. The woman looked behind the corner and saw Mae still standing there. Could she be wrong?
As much as she just wanted to leave the woman couldn’t bring herself to do so. This man had done more than enough to help her. Suppose she would have to return the favor? With a sigh Catherine trotted from behind the building and walked up to Mae with his jacket in hand. She looked up at the man before speaking. “D-do you think you can take me somewhere else…somewhere far from here?” Her sensitive ears then twitch as the noise of police sirens sounded in the distance. Fear quickly love took her eyes as she glanced back at the taller man, what would he do?

Maewynn turned away from her as she went off to change. He thought for a brief moment then was hit with a sudden realisation. 'Those people would surely be back, at least the police would in their place.' He cursed under his breath then realized that his face has been shown to the public, and he had gone missing after running into a werewolf. That would certainly bring attention this area. Attention that he couldn't afford to have.
He turned to face Cat as she walked back to him. Maewynn was so focused on his next location that he barely noticed how loose the clothes were on her. 'I have to leave her behind. She may stand a chance in the public. Then again, they watched her transform... she'd be slaughtered... I can't take her with me though.' He was just about to bring up the courage to say farewell, when she had asked for him to take her somewhere. He looked into her eyes and spoke softly, saying "Yes. Of course, I can."
'Mae, you're an idiot. Don't bring her to your sanctuary. That would risk you losing everything, including your life!'
He grasped her hand into his, when he heard the sirens. The police were arriving... shortly, judging by the increasing volume of the sirens. "Well, it looks we'll have to be going soon." He said softly, looking into her eyes again. "Are you ready?"
He held her hand and they disappeared. The police arrived moments later, unable to have seen the two dissapear into thin air, so unable to question it.
They reappeared in a small apartment, dozens of miles away. Maewynn looked at her face once more and smiled before falling against a wall. He had jumped too far, too fast. This often happened when he was trying to make an escape. He laughed a bit, breathing deeply.
The apartment was small, simple, and, in it's own way, "homey". They had appeared into the living room, which was only five feet and down the hall from a small kitchen and bathroom. In the living room there was a medium sized bed and a nice sized generator, currently powered off. The walls, however, were cluttered with hundreds of photos, each containing a different place. This is both a positive and negative thing. While he may easily picture the place he'd like to visit, those who stumble across these photos could see where he might be.
As the sun was still rising outside, the sun's beams shone through a small window, onto beautifully crafted case that sat on a tiny little end table beside the bed. An empty bottle also happened to be sitting on the table, as well as a small battery powered lantern.
Maewynn was still breathing slightly heavy and closed his eyes, falling asleep. The jump had been across counties. This often took a toll on him, but sometimes it had to be done.

A feeling of sorrow crashed over Catherine’s small frame. She could see doubt Mae’s lovely sea blue eyes. Questions began to surface. Would he leave her? Fear over took her for a belief moment as Mae was deciding what to do with her. Was he going to leave her, or worse turn her in? Maybe that was his plan all along? Turn her in and become the hero. Catherine inwardly cursed herself for trusting this man. Wait...what if she was wrong? The werewolf had no choice but to trust him now. There wasn't any other way. The police sirens where growing close. She bit her bottom lip. The suspense was killing her! This woman needed a backup plan and fast. Her cluttered mind rushed through all the possibly outcomes. It was hard to think just after a turn. She was not only scatter brained but tired as well. The she-wolf would surely be ginned down if the cops saw the tapes, and then caught her. To make matters worse her job at the PIDA would be compromised as well. She might have been just a janitor but she was still a part of their organization. They had been so kind to her, and now she turns against them? The PIDA wasn't the type of organization to put up with murderous monsters. Hell, their job was to get all corrupted supernatural off the streets. It didn’t matter if you killed, stole or exposed your true self to the humans; they were all offenses in the PIDA’s book. Man, she really fucked up now. They had already given Catherine another chance to redeem herself, and she blew it. Not only that but she also dragged another supernatural into the mix. Cat prayed they wouldn't find out about it. This of course wasn't likely. The PIDA was a vast organization, and she was just a lonely janitor. They had the best agents around, they would find out about what happened sooner or later. The woman began to realize Mae would be in danger as well. The brave man had jumped her to the bathroom to save innocent civilians from becoming her dinner. No doubt the camera picked up on that too. Why did she have to fuck everything up? The woman looked off into the distance. The cops where coming closer. Her small frame began to tremble. She didn’t fear the cops, but she did feared their guns. Mae quickly snapped the woman out of it as he grabbed her hand. Cat’s head snapped around to look at him. Her eyes seemed to light up as he said the word she was waiting to hear, yes. The man then smiled before asking if she was ready. “As ready as I’ll ever be…” She replied as they teleported away. This was the last place she expected to be. Catherine thought Maewynn would have teleported her to a forest to let her loose or something. Her suspicions were wrong. They didn’t jump to a forest. Catherine had closed her eyes when they teleported, but she was still a bit dizzy. She didn’t know how Mae could do it. The jump nearly made her sick. As the woman shook it off like a wet dog she released her companion’s hand and took a quick look around. Man, and she thought her apartment was small. Catherine couldn’t help but to be a bit nosy when she saw the wall filled with pictures. Just what was this human up too? Before she could investigate she heard Mae chuckle. The woman turned to look at him just as she began to sink to the ground. He was breathing pretty hard. A look of concern washed over Catherine's face. “M-Mae, are you ok!?”The she-wolf asked as she knelt down. Seconds later he closed his eyes and fell asleep. The man was clearly exhausted. Catherine didn’t know how his powers worked. But she would surly ask him when he woke up. Cat stood back up and noticed the medium sized bed lying in the living room. She then looked back down at Mae and sighed. She couldn’t leave him on the floor like that. With a roll of her hazel eyes she knelt down again. Her long slender arms wrapped themselves around Mae’s chest as she attempted to pull him up. “Why do you have to be so heavy?” She grumbled as she began to drag his dead weight across the floor. This task would have been a lot harder if she wasn’t a Were. Well, at least she could use this opportunity to get his scent without him freaking out. All it took was a quick sniff to his head. This man had a very strange aroma to him, one that the girl could never forget. Catherine committed the smell to memory as she pulled the tall man along the floor. “F-fat ass.” Catherine mumbled under her breath as she managed to pull him onto his bed. Mae wasn't the least bit fat, but his dead weight did make him heavy. The woman removed his glasses before She stopped for a moment to look through them. This man's vision must have been horrible. After that she placed them onto the end table. With a sigh Cat realized his legs where still hanging off the bed. After pushing his legs onto the bed the woman turned her attention to the room. Catherine could only hope Mae would have done the same for her. With a smirk she walked over to the window and peered out of the blinds. The location outside didn’t look the least bit familiar, so leaving was out of the question. Oh, well She could still have a look around, right? This place was interesting to say the least. The woman looked back at Mae for a brief moment, surly he wouldn’t mind if she looked through his stuff. It wasn't like he could object to it now, the male was out cold. With a devilish grin the woman’s body began to change. Cat’s soft pale hands morphed into light grey paws. The woman’s body soon spouted a light fur coat, and her face soon stretched into a muzzle. Soon enough a female grey wolf stood in her place. The good thing about her normal form was that her cloths stayed with her for some reason. It was as if they were lying just under the skin. It was strange but Catherine never questioned it. The wolf looked around the room, keeping her nose to the ground as she sniffed around. She didn’t know how long Mae would be out. She needed to hurry if she wanted to get a look around the place. After looking through the kitchen she returned to the living room to look over the vast number of pictures Maewynn had on his wall. It made sense, Mae was able to teleport. Maybe these where the places he wanted to go? The she-wolf didn’t exactly understand Mae’s power, but it was still interesting. With a loud yawn Cat turned her muzzle up to the bed. She was contemplating whether to lay up there, or on the floor. The woman guessed Mae might not like the idea of her shedding all over his bead, so she decided to lay under it. The wolf managed to push herself under Mae’s bed; it was nice and dark under there. After curly up into a fluffy ball, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Maewynn slept soundly in his bed. His body seemed at rest until he started seeing things in his sleep. Terror and the fear of being caught again. Just what will happen if he were to possibly be caught. He couldn't go back there...
In his mind 'Please! Let me go!!!' He screamed to his captors as a surge of electricity was sent through his body. This happened often. Every twenty seconds, each surge would last up to five minutes, and he would be left for ten seconds. Exactly ten seconds, before he was sent through pain once more. Maewynn began cringing in his sleep. "No, please. Stop. Stop!" Maewynn woke up with a sudden gasp for air.
The male sat up and shifted his feet to the floor. He ran his fingers through his brown hair and felt to his end table for his glasses. Standing up, he remembered that he jumped here with Cat. He stood and walked through his sanctuary. 'Had she gone?' Sighing slightly, Maewynn leaned against a wall and closed his eyes. He glanced at his watch and noticed that nearly 6 hours had passed since they left the gas station.
'If she had left, I hope she finds her way back.' Maewynn sighed again then walked over to the kitchen. Upon opening his refrigerator, he pulled out a bottle with no label. He did this often, out of sheer boredom. He would peel the labels off of his drinks. With a firm grip, he popped the top off and sat on the floor against the wall. With a drink in his hand, he began experiencing loneliness again.
'What a wonderful world."

Catherine continued to sleep. Her fluffy frame was curled into a small ball, with her tail covering her wet nose. She was comfortable under Mae’s bet. The place was quiet and dark, the perfect place for a wolf to sleep.
Cat was awoken several hours later when she heard the bed above her squeak. The canine opened her jaws and let out a low toothy yawn. After shaking off her tiredness she looked to the front of the bed. Her deep yellow eyes then watched as Maewynn made his way to the other room. Catherine could only see his shoes from this vantage point though. Questions began to surface in that skill of hers. Where was he going? Did he even know she was still there? Well, it was time to get up anyway. The large beast pulled herself from under the bed and stretched. Cat had no idea how long she had been asleep. But did it really matter? It was a much needed nap. Catherine’s fluffy triangle ears pricked forward as she looked around the room. It wouldn’t be too hard to find Maewynn in this small apartment. There were only a couple of places he could be. With a wag of her tail she trotted into the kitchen. This is where she found Mae. He sat with his back against the wall, looking a bit depressed. He had an unknown drink in his hand. She could only guess the contents of the beverage, only because it didn’t have a label. The man didn’t look too excited. He looked more moody than anything else. The wolf mustered a toothy grin before she trotted into sight.
“It wasn’t easy pulling you onto that bed you know.” The wolf teased as she trotted into the kitchen. She hopped to cheer him up a bit. The woman hated to be around depressed company. Her caws clicked across the tile as she walked toward him. With a sigh the canine then plopped her butt down next to Mae. “Have a good nap?” She asked as a wolfish grin stretched her maw. Catherine didn’t want to outright ask the man about his powers, especially when he just woke up. Her curiosity was killing her though. To take her mind off this she looked down at the bottle he was drinking. Now that Cat was close she could at least tell what was in there. It was obviously alcohol; she could smell it on his breath.

He sighed, remembering his arrival into this home. The jumper had grown weary and fallen into a deep, yet hasten slumber. This happened whenever he had jumped to a destination that is miles away. The quick traveling is very useful, but the toll is his stamina. What a great toll it was.
"Thank you. For putting me in my bed." He peered at the wolf. He's seen things that couldn't even be imagined, but this was still a little strange to him. Someone who could take form into a wolf whenever they feel it right.
He was so lost in his thoughts, that he almost didn't catch what she had said. "O)h, yes. Yes, I did." He replied softly. He then remembered what she had done and how it didn't bother him at all.
"Did you sleep at all?" He asked. It must have been awkward to have carried him to his bed and he felt guilty and somewhat embarrassed that she had helped him.

Catherine’s wolfish muzzle seemed to crease up into a smile. It pleased her to hear that Mae thanking her for what she did. The woman could have easily left him on the floor while she took his bed. It would be a lie to say she hadn’t been contemplating that. Mae was a kind soul, it would be wrong to treat him such disrespect.
This was his territory after all.
The wolf gave him a nod. “I did, it was nice and cool under your bed.” Those words sounded a bit awkward to her. For a moment she wished she could take them back, but alas werewolves didn’t have the power to rewind time. With a loud sigh the wolf began to change. Slowly paws became hands and feet. Fur slowly morphed into soft human flesh. Soon enough the human sat at Mae’s side. They sat in silence for a moment until Catherine decided to ask a question that had been troubling her all this time. Her long blonde locks rested on her shoulder as she turned to face him. “H-How do you do it?” She asked, the woman then stopped and realized what she said. “-teleport, I mean.” Catherine was a very curious soul. Mae had a very interesting power, one that she had never seen before. This was strange, she worked at the PIDA, and just about everyone there had some sort of power, or quirk. However, not one of them possessed the gift Mae had.
Catherine quickly thought back to the pictures that where hanging on Mae’s wall. Maybe those where places when was planning on visiting, or perhaps it was somewhere he’d already been? So many questions swarmed around inside the young werewolf’s head. She wanted to ask he man about them but stopped herself from doing so. Cat didn’t need to overwhelm the poor guy.

"Underneath... my bed?" He replied. Then he realized that the wolf had probably forced her way under the bed to stay cool. It was somewhat warm in this little apartment. He refused to open any windows and had never really thought about acquiring an type of Fan or Cooler of some sort.
He sighed softly, watching the wolf change back into a human. His hand brought the bottle to his lips as she asked the question that had probably been picking at her since they met. 'How do I do it... sometimes I ask myself the same thing.' He thought. His thought process was shortly cut off as she finished her question.
"I only know how to control it." he said softly. His heart said to trust this woman, but his mind and instincts said to play it by ear. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm the only one." He spoke again. "So, I've never really had the chance to ask anyone else exactly how it all happens." His left hand took a small swig from his bottle and set it back down. With a bit of hesitation, he began once more. "I can teleport to any spot in the entire world, as long I have been there before." he thought to himself, 'Why must she know about this... why am I telling her?'
"However, the longer the distance that I am traveling, the worst I feel. For example, we were last spotted a great distance from here at a gas station. Within a split second, we traveled over at least one hundred miles." He sighed softly and took another drink from his bottle, which was now empty. "A teleport, or 'jump' as I call it, covering a distance that large exhausts me."
"The further I go, the more stamina I lose. Major draw back, but it has it's advantages." He stood and made his way to a small fridge and opened it. He leaned into the fridge and grabbed a water bottle instead of alcohol. "Would you like anything?" He asked.

A light blush appeared onto Catherine’s lovely face. “Y-yeah, under your bed, I didn’t think you wanted wolf fur on your sheets.” The girl ignored her blemish and smiled. She would speak her mind, whether her body gave away subtle hint of embarrassment or not. “You do look like you would make a comfortable pillow though.” Catherine playfully tipped her head to the side. This human would be a fun one, she could feel it. As Mae began to explain his peculiar power Catherine looked at him in awe. Man, she wouldn’t mind having a power like that. It would surly beat lycanthropy. As Mae continued his explanation she quickly began to think otherwise.
Life must have been tough for Mae. His powers may have been cool, but they physically drain the poor human. Catherine wouldn’t have been too surprised if multiple jumps would kill him. Maewynn only seemed to know how to use his power; its origin was completely unknown. To make matters worse, as fair as he knew, the man was the one person who possessed that jumping ability. Catherine felt for this human. If the roles where switched she would be so confused with her life. Her own power, Lycanthropy, didn’t come with a manual but there was enough known about it already. She was as comfortable as she could possibly be in the skin of a killer. The female knew what to expect. Mae’s power was different. She could only imagine the confusion he had to go through, just to get the hang of teleporting. His whole explanation seemed just down right repressing to her. Perhaps that was why she found him in the cooler that one night? Because was he drinking his worries away? Catherine shook the thought from her head. Now wasn’t the time to be acting so damn depressed.
Catherine brought her legs up to her chest and rested her chin on her knees. She tried to forget about the bad stuff and looked to the light in this situation. A lovely smile then graced her face. Maewynn was telling her all about his powers, practically spilling his cuts to her. She couldn’t quite believe what he was telling her. She could always use this against him. However, cat wasn’t like that. She truly felt for this man. Harming him in any way, shape, or form didn’t seem possible for her. If anything, she wanted to get to know him. Mae seemed to be a very lonely human. The least she could offer was her friendship.
When Mae stood and offered a drink Catherine nodded. She then stood and strolled over to him. “I know it’s early, but do you have anything strong?” she began before looked at the water bottle in his hand. “I mean like vodka strong. I bet you would be surprised to know I’m not much of a drinker.” Catherine's face began to slowly sport a frown. She pushed her blonde hair behind her ear and looked away. ” I just want to forget last night ever happened...”

He sighed softly. "The strongest I usually carry is whiskey, but give me a moment." After saying this, he disappeared. Roughly two minutes later, he reappeared before Cat holding a bottle that had a slightly obscured label, but read "Vodka" towards the bottom. He cracked his neck and sat beside her, setting the bottle between the two of them.
"Our regrets of mistakes made do not prove what we happen to be." He said softly as he opened his water bottle. His left hand lifted the bottle to his lips, the water drained into his mouth and he swallowed. Frequent jumps can often dehydrate him.
"You can't begin to beat yourself up for something that you can not control. It isn't proper." He says to her. 'This probably isn't too much, Mae.'He thought. It's been so long, years, since he had talked this long with another person. He wanted to tell her that everything will be okay and that it will eventually be forgotten, but he knew that with her power... it most likely never will.
He had to change the subject.
"So, unless you have sudden plans to be somewhere else, is there any place that you would like to see?" As he said this, his form rose to a standing position which would nod towards the countless photos on the opposite wall.
"Unless... you'd like to leave. I'm certain that you have much to figure out right now. If so, then I wouldn't mind taking you where you need to go."

Catherine sat there for a moment. Her back leaned against the wall and her legs where pulled up to her chest she so could rest her chin on her knee. Mae mentioned something about whiskey. That poison wasn’t strong enough to beat down her ever growing depression. Catherine yearned for something stronger. Before the woman could speak Mae jumped. He’d told the woman to hold on a moment. Perhaps he was going to get her something stronger? The young wolf waited for Mae to return. She hoped her would come back soon. It was rather lonely in this quiet house. Catherine wondered how this man could live by himself. He didn’t seem to have any pets to keep him company. Cat lived alone for the most part. Though, she did have a pet to keep her company. The human must have been a lone wolf.
When Mae materialized in the kitchen a large toothy smile appeared onto Catherine’s face. She was happy to see him. Thankfully he didn’t come back empty handed. Catherine looked at the bottle he was holding. The label was a bit messy but she thought she could make out the words vodka. Vodka, that would work! It was much stronger than whiskey. Catherine smirked as the human sat the bottle next to her before sitting himself. She smiled at him and said. “Next time I need something I’ll just give you a call. Why would I have to go shopping if you could do it for me in like a second? ” She teased as she reached for the bottle and opened it. She brought the opening to her lips. After a good swig she lowered it to the ground. Her face had contorted into disgusted looking grimace. It tasted foul, then again it was vodka. Catherine wasn’t drinking the damn thing for its taste but rather its effect.
As Mae spoke Catherine lifted the bottle to her lips again. When he was finished she didn’t reply, instead she took a long drown out drink of her vodka. Surprisingly enough, Cat wasn’t much of a drinker; usually. The only reason why he was doing so now was because of her growing depression. Catherine defiantly wasn’t doing this for the taste. Vodka was the worst tasting stuff she’d ever had. Mae had said something about not getting too depressed over something she could not control. This was easier said than done. Catherine felt guilty for killing the defenseless human and even going after Mae. No words could describe how she felt after realizing this. The only thing that could made things better was the alcohol. Catherine lowered the bottle to the ground. Warm and looking rather content the blonde leaned over and rested her head onto Mae’s shoulder. Her stomach began to burn after drinking so much at once. "Yeah...Yeah."
When Mae changed the subject Cat smirked, the alcohol had time to sit. She began to feel the effects of her drinking. Her cheeks began to hold a light red color. A light giggle streamed from her lips as she took another long swig of the vodka before putting it down. Catherine nuzzled the side of Mae’s shoulder before speaking. “I-I don’t have to b-be anywhere.” Cat replied as she felt another giggle rise up from her chest. Instead of sitting there the beast lowered her head onto Mae’s lap. She rested her head on his leg. “Take me to the moon Mae.” She teased; the alcohol began to come into effect. The beast wasn’t thinking. Usually whenever she got drink or tipsy her more flirtatious persona comes forth. Perhaps drinking around Mae was a bad idea on her part.
“D-Did I ever mention how g-good you sm-ell?” Catherine wouldn’t have said such a thing if she was sober. Her drunken persona only seemed to be making things worse. “I was right when I said you would make a good pillow.” The liquid courage managed to make the woman loosen up. It also seemed to numb her inner wolf for a brief moment. Feeling a bit restless the female nuzzled the side of her head into the jumper’s leg before saying. “I think you should pet me Mae.”

The male had taken a slight notice to how intoxicated Cat had become. he had briefly thought about taking the alcohol away, but then realized that he would have a pissed shape-shifter on his hands, that would probably pay no mind with eating him. He took a drink of his water and leaned his head back against the wall, trying his best to ignore the female leaning into him.
"I think it best that I not do that." He would say quietly. The male sighed softly and closed his eyes. She was a very beautiful woman, but he felt that it was wrong to do such a thing. He may be a terrible person, but he wouldn't take pleasure in something like that.
"To the moon... that would be a fun trip. With the right supplies and planning... I'm sure that it would be possible." He was trying his best to stray away from her drunken rambling.

Catherine’s grumbled to herself when Mae refused to pet her. Cat didn’t think much of this of course, thanks to the alcohol. But the woman’s canine instincts seemed to be flooding out, and what canine doesn’t like a good scratch behind the ears? A low, pitiful whimper streamed from Catherine’s mouth. This just wasn’t far! “W-why not!?” The she wolf asked as she rolled onto her back and looked up at the obviously tense human. “You gave me a pet before, w-why can’t you do it now?”
The Were was a bit too drunk to truly comprehend the situation. Perhaps her ramblings were a bit annoying, but the woman really wanted a nice pat on the head. Catherine pushed her cheek against Mae’s stomach. She gazed up at the young male whist trying to muster the most believable puppy eyes as she could. The woman even stuck her bottom lip out for good measure. Oh how the mighty Werewolf had fallen. In a matter of minutes a frightening beast had been transformed into a pitiful pup. If only Catherine could see herself now. The drunken woman seemed to have forgotten about the alcohol, though she was still holding it in her hand. A few drops split from the bottle and onto the floor as she continued to pester the Jumper.“P-please Mae, d-d-don’t make me beg!”Luckily for him Catherine wasn't an angry drunk.
