Guillotine’s plan was failing miserably. He attempted to stay cool and calm around his Alpha. It was hard to do so when his true feelings leaked from his very being. Gil was nervous. Anyone with eyes could see that. If it wasn’t for his restraints he would gotten on the ground and rolled over in submission. The last thing he wanted to do was spark a fight between himself and his former boss. Akhtar had already begun to challenge him with that stare of his. And surprisingly enough Gil looked away. He was powerless, unable to hold his Alpha’s glare. The beast was smart enough to know not to pick a fight with this man. Akhtar had a lot of power. Gil had seen it firsthand what kind of power this man held. It was unbelievable, even to him. The hound could recall Akhtar destroying a whole building just by chanting a single word. Of course he would never bring that situation up, but just the thought of that happening to him was rather daunting to say the least. Oh, if his pack could see him now. They would have surly kill Gil for being intimidated by a mere human.
As Gil thought about this, he struggled to gather his courage. He inwardly cursed himself for feeling the way he did. Flipping out would only cause trouble. With a loud sigh Gil began to slowly relax. He even managed to crack a fake smile. This was nothing more than a front; A first line of defense if you will. No one here needed to know what was going on in his head. No one had to see the fear that wrapped itself around his mind. As long as he seemed ok on the outside he would be fine, right?
Soon enough, his Alpha spoke. The man’s anger filled eyes continued to stare the hell beast down. Even as he spoke, Gil couldn’t help but to be a bit frightened. Akhtar seemed relatively calm, but Gil could hear the disappointment in his voice. This wizard was far from ok. Hell, he was pissed! The hellhound was never truly reprimanded by this man. Usually Akhtar would bale the hellhound out before he got on his soapbox and lectured him. This time was different. Akhtar wasn’t making any strides to free him from the P.I.D.A. He just seemed to be sitting there taunting the male, making him deal with the outcome of his actions. Gil didn’t like this, not one bit. The hellhound was spoiled rotten, like an unruly child. And Akhtar was finally putting his foot down. Guillotine’s ears tuned in as Akhtar spoke of the Zahirah. It had been quite some time since he’s last seen his master. Their trip to Zahirah had been fun while it lasted. Apart of him just wanted to ask Akhtar to take him back to the desert home just to get away from the P.I.D.A. He was sure that wouldn’t happen, though. Akhtar seemed pissed enough already. Asking for favors would only lead to more lecturing. He was sure Akhtar wouldn’t be doing him any favors anytime soon. Not after what was happening today. Once the man finished talking Gil was tempted not to reply but fear was the thing that drove him to speak. “Y-Yes, I remember…” Guillotine didn’t say much after that. Once he was done the room filled with an unnerving silence. This moment of silence nearly drove the poor hound insane. Did he say something wrong? Was Akhtar going to just get up and leave him? So many questions buzzed around inside of Gil’s skull. The look of nervousness had plastered itself onto his handsome face at this point. Guillotine would never usually show this much emotion in front of anyone. It was rare, if not unheard of. Suppose being tied down in front of his Alpha made him feel weak and venerable to the point where he finally accepted it? The male could feel Akhtar’s eyes looking him over before he spoke again. Crimson eyes glanced forward at the speaker as he stated that Gil didn’t look so hot. Well, he’d been locked away for a little over a week; of course he wouldn’t look up to par. “They’ve been treating me like sh*t, Akhtar.” Guillotine began as Akhtar finished speaking. However, the last sentence Akhtar spoke seemed to rub the beast the wrong way. “I’d much sooner live in the slums then return to the room these bastards where holding me in. At least I would be with my own kind, instead of locked away like some f*cking animal!- “The male stopped, his chest began to rise and fall rapidly as he was taken over by his fury . Guillotine let his anger slip, though he quickly wished he hadn’t. The look in Akhtar’s eyes was daunting, even to a hellish beast like himself. Yelling at this man would only result in more punishment. This wasn’t the kind of punishment most beasts would get, but the punishment of silence. Akhtar knew just which strings to pull when it came to Guillotine. After a while Gil broke eye contact and looked away; signaling that he was submitting to his former boss. He didn’t want to give his Alpha the wrong idea. Akhtar could tame the beast within Gil without using ropes or chains. The wizard had a away with Gil. He was able to do things most others couldn’t. This was only because Gil respected the man. Without this respect, they wouldn’t have made it this far in their relationship. Guillotine was growing more uncomfortable by the minute. He shifted a bit in his chair. What was Akhtar planning on doing with him? Surly, he was on the P.I.D.A’s side. All the evidence in this case pointed to him. The male released a low sigh; he could only hope Akeelah wouldn’t get into as much trouble. She was the one who tried to stop him. It would be a real shame if she was put in a nasty cell as well. Just the thought of Akeelah pushed Gil mind closer to depression. He could only hope the shifter was ok. The last that he heard, she could possibly be pregnant with his child. Oh just the thought of her locked away in a cell nearly knocked the man down a few notches. A wave of guilt had consumed the already depressed being.
Akhtar’s heavy Egyptian accent shook Gil from his thoughts. He began by saying that they were going to talk this out. Gil didn’t have any objections to that, so he nodded in response. There was a bit of a pause before Akhtar leaned forward. He made the mistake of getting in Guillotine’s space. Feeling like a cornered animal Gil looked away. He couldn’t get up to move, nor did he have the courage to tell him to back off. Akhtar’s words became harsh, sending the male into a state of panic. On the outside the male just seemed to shy away, but inside of Guillotine’s mind was a mess. He couldn’t look the wizard in the eye, for fear had taken over his own.
He even went to the lengths as to give the man a weak warning growl. He didn’t like where this talk was going. Akhtar began to explain how he had to clear his entire schedule just to be here for him. Guilt surged into Guillotine’s skull once more. The male knew how hard it was to keep the stores going. Akhtar had left him in charge of Luna for a while. There was a lot of effort and pride put into running those stores. It was tiring work just to run one. Surly Akhtar wasn’t too happy with having to run both Luna and Rio. Gil then looked Akhtar in the eye as the man asked if he was going to behave. Gil remained silent, though gave Akhtar a brief nod. For once in his life he didn’t want to talk. He feared he would say something to anger his Alpha. Oh how embarrassing it would be to get talked down two in front of John and Jesse. Those bastards didn’t deserve to watch him wallow in his own shame. What came next caused Guillotine’s heart to skip a beat. The beast’s eyes widened as his Alpha gave the agents a very strange request. Akhtar had asked the agents to undo his restraints. What was this? Gil peered into Akhtar’s eyes as if searching for an answer. Was this man being serious?! It seemed so. A pleased smirk creased his handsome face. Now this was his chance to exact revenge! His hellish side began to stir, oh how he wanted to just attack both Jesse and John. But could he do it? Everything was working against him at this point. If Akhtar wasn’t there then Gil wouldn’t have hesitated, but now he seemed a bit unsure. With a sigh Gil watched as John began to undo his restraints. Both he and Jesse had a problem with it before, but john decided to trust the wizard prince. While John began to undo the restraints he gave the beast a talk. He told him the consequences of getting out of the chair. Gil tossed caution to the wind, he really didn’t care. It took everything he had to hold back from biting this man. John had been the one who locked him up. Every fiber of the beast was screaming at him to end this pathetic human’s life. It would be foolish to attack him though. Everyone in the room had some sort of power. To add to this, Akhtar could read him like a book. Guillotine was positive he would be stopped before he could lay into this man. Akhtar had powers that went beyond his own comprehension. Guillotine may have known only a handful of wizards and witches in his lifetime but none could match the power that his alpha had at his disposal. In a matter of second Akhtar could have the beast pinned against the wall. It was a scary realization, but Gil was confident that Akhtar wouldn’t do anything if he managed to behave himself. Once he was freed from his restraints Guillotine rolled his shoulders back. He’d finally begin to get feeling back in his arms. John’s previous warning was in vain. Gil slowly stood up from his chair just to stretch. For a brief moment the beasts winced as the aching in his knee shot up his leg. Gil would have to be a bit more careful, he wasn't as indestructible as he thought. Well, at least he got some pain killers pumped into him this morning or else he would be in a lot of pain from this sudden movement. Despite his leg injury, the male seemed as arrogant as ever. Needless to say he was enjoying this little stretch. His smile continued to grow as did his ego. He could feel his tired bones pop as his tall frame stretched. It was nice, be able to hold his hands above his head without having someone tackle him to the ground. The male then grunted a bit before he turned to John. “I’ve been doing nothing but sitting for the past week, so get off my back!“Gil didn’t seem to be too happy that he was being bossed around, especially now that Akhtar was there. “You aren’t the boss of me John.”The last thing he wanted to do was sit back down, but if he really wanted to get out of here he would listen to these humans. With a loud sigh Gil rolled his eyes like some spoiled teen and plopped back into his chair. “So…” The male then folded his arms in front of him. He then eyed the people before him. “-What do you want to know?”

Akhtar looked at Gil intently and quietly as he explained himself. The wizard wasn't moved by Gil's performance at all. He actually wore a look of, "Are you done yet?" On his face as the hellhound gave his tale of "heart wrenching mistreatment" at the hands of the PIDA agents. Akhtar even scoffed at one point. Gil actually thought this was torture. How could even believe that he should be treated better than what he was when he had caused so much chaos and havoc? He had killed countless people and he honestly thought he should be treated like a royal? He was far too spoiled and Akhtar wasn't having any of it. Yes the PIDA agents should have given Gil a bit more and gave him time to roam but they didn't. It was all due to safety reasons which Akhtar completely understood. After all...Gil was the cause of his own imprisonment. He didn't know how to behave himself long enough for them to allow him out of his cell.
Resting his hands in his lap Akhtar looked at Gil with a questioningly look as he heard a low growl escape his mouth. He raised an eyebrow challenging Gil to even consider doing anything once more if he felt he was bad enough to take on the wizard plus the two PIDA agents. The prince wasn't having it. He waited for Gil to be released from his restraints. He watched as Gil's tall form raised from his seat to stretch. Did John and Jesse honestly think he would sit there and he hadn't had time to do anything else the entire time he had been there?
Akhtar said evenly, "Your tongue Gil...watch your tongue... " Turning to the agents and then back to Gil once more Akhtar said, "Gentlemen....we all know what we are here for so how about we get this underway. I am sure our friend Gil has a lot to say on the subject matter and I am more than sure you all have quite a few questions to ask. " He looked to them all making sure everyone was okay with the course of how things would flow in the interrogation room. He didn't want this to be some "Bash Gil Fest" he wanted everyone to gain some form of closure in this entire ordeal.
((sorry it is so short...my brain didn't want to work with me today.))

Had TB lost his mind? The man had to question his reasoning behind doing what he was about to do. What would he accomplish in letting Guillotine loose in the interrogation room? Nothing, that's what. There was little that he could see that they would gain from taking off the hellhound's restraints. The best he could come up with was that it would give the beast a moment to relax, and in turn make this meeting a little easier to handle. But even that best case scenario wasn't much. In the end this was still going to be a long day, and letting Gil go wouldn't make it shorter. In fact, it could easily make the whole thing worse. Guillotine was a dangerous individual. Both John and his partner witnessed that first hand and thier organization deemed him as such as well. Gil had already done a decent amount of damage to some of the less threatening employees here. Anyone who had tried to take care of him by tending to his wounds, or even just trying to feed him had been attacked. It was thanks to that attitude of his that he was treated the way that he was.
If he was willing to attack anyone that was suppose to take care of him how would he treat the men responsible for him being here? John would have to be some kind of idiot to think that even for a second that Guillotine wasn't harbouring enough hate for him and his friend that he wouldn't try to attack them at the risk of his own life. Guillotine was arrogant and stupid enough to do that even if he had a gun pointed at his head. It was crazy to risk that. It was one thing for the man to take such a risk for himself, but he wouldn't be the only one that would face the beasts fangs if he did this. Jesse was just as good of a target as he was, maybe even more so because the two had known, and hated, each other longer. The older american man was in a harder position to defend himself, his powers were unreliable at the best of times, and he still couldn't use his good arm while it was in a cast. Jesse could easily die in a situation like this and there was no way that he was going to have his best friend's blood on his hands.
There was the egyptian prince to consider too. While Akhtar and Guillotine were suppose to be friends it wasn't impossible that Guillotine wouldn't harm the younger man too. John already saw what Gil was willing to do to someone he claimed to care a lot for. His girlfriend had nearly died by his hands so how could he be sure that the same thing wasn't going to happen to Akhtar? There was so much to lose from this one action, plenty of reason to reject the idea. And yet here he was getting ready to let some rabid beast stretch his legs. Despite all the reasons and just plain old common sense that he had he was willing to do this. Just because a part of him wanted to give Akhtar a chance to help them out. John and Jesse didn't risk bringing the prince all the way out here to not let him try to help them work on Gil his way. It was just a hunch but he was hoping that the wizard was on to something. Jesse's hunches on the man so far had gone over well, and if his less than bright friend could be right then why couldn't he?
Even after he made up his mind and warned Gil not to do anything foolish, he couldn't help but feel nervous when he started to release him. John kept his expression blank but he was still tense. If anyone noticed that they didn't say anything. Akhtar and Gil didn't know him well enough to read him so easily, Jesse most likely could pick up on it but his friend was respectful enough to keep his mouth shut. Finally John released the beast and took a step back from the fiend soon after. Johnathan should've known before this that his firece warning was going to go unheard, but he didn't, and naturally was surprised to see the damn hellhound get on his feet and even talk back to him. The man's reaction was instant. In a flash John had his gun out and pointed right at Guillotine's head. In the same instant that he had gone to draw his weapon so did his partner. Good, Jesse had come prepared for such an occasion too. Even if he wasn't using his good arm at this close of a range it would be hard for him to miss the hound's heart if he tried anything else.
"Sit boy." the words came from Jesse first. It was thanks to Jesse that TB didn't pull the trigger the instant that he drew. John hadn't been joking when he said that he would shoot. If he had been with anyone else he wouldn't have thought twice about blowing Guillotine's head off. But Jesse wanted to give the bastard a second chance. He couldn't complain about that, as much as he wanted to just kill the idiot now it would be a waste of a bullet. At the sound of Akhtar's voice he remembered why they needed to keep the hound alive. "In case you forgot Guillotine, you are in no position to boss us around. In the count of three you will go back to your seat or we will shoot."

With a roll of his blood red eye Guillotine snorted like the pretentious fool that he was. The hellhound wasn’t too fund of his master’s tone, not in the least. Apart of him wanted to tear into his alpha for saying such a thing, but alas he couldn’t. He would be a fool to even consider harming the man. Not only was Akhtar powerful, he was always so kind to him as well. However, Like any other spoiled brat he wanted to rebel against his caretaker. Guillotine did not like how Akhtar was telling him to watch his tongue when he felt that it was the agents who opened their mouths first. It was all unfair in his eyes. In Gil’s perspective everyone seemed to be ganging up on him. Feeling a bit cornered the beast voiced his opinion; his tone seemed more like a childish pout than anything else. “I’d say these agents should be the ones who should watch their tongues…or I just might tear it out of them.” The hellish beast huffed under his breath. He clearly wasn’t in the best of moods. The anger from early was still lingering within that skull of his. Gil was excited to be freed from his restraints; however he was still trapped within the steel walls of the PIDA with no hopes of escaping. He had his reasons for being pissed. And Judging by Akhtar’s posture, it was clear that he was siding with these agents. So in a way he was standing alone in this fight.
With his hands free Gil knelt down to fumble with his spit guard before he realized John had pulled his gun on him. The beast’s single blood red eye widened for a moment in shock. Just the sight of the gun brought on bad memories that soon flooded onto the beast’s head. It was almost as if he body jumped at the sight of that horrible weapon. Guillotine was very familiar with guns. He had never fired gun, but he was unfortunate to have been on the other end of a one. He could remember the pain of being shot in the knee. The agony that consumed his body had been utterly horrific. Oh, just the thought of being shot again made the hellish beast cringe.
Strangely enough, Guillotine began to relax after thinking the situation over. He didn’t have a reason to worry, Akhtar was there. The wizard would protect him from harm, right? Dependence on his master would drive the beast to do idiotic things. Gil remained standing, attempting to ignore the painful throbbing inside his shattered kneecap. He deliberately disobeyed John’s orders. The fool’s arrogance seemed to know no bounds. He stood there before John, with his upright posture. He attempted to stand firm and tall. Then with a smirk, Guillotine forcefully ripped the human muzzle from his head and carelessly tossed it onto the ground. The heavy leather spit guard hit the hard linoleum floor with a loud clang. The noise of the metal clips hitting the ground seemed to echo through the interrogation room. A rough pale hand then reached up and scratched the dark stubble that had formed on Guillotine’s chin. He hadn’t shaved in over a week. The guards refused to let the beast shave and for good reason. A razor blade would the last thing the PIDA would give to a homicidal demon. They were smart enough not to give the beast one, even after he asked several times.
Soon Jesse joined the fray. Pulling his gun out before he began to taunt Gil. His words would cause Gil to twitch with unseen anger. The beast would have turned to Jesse; however he had his sights set on john. After a moment of silence Guillotine flashed his fangs at the man. If Jesse and John thought the male as going to sit like a good dog they had another thing coming. Guillotine wasn’t one to follow orders, especially if those orders came from a human. The only person he ever really listened too was Akhtar.
Then the counting started…
“Go ahead…pull the trigger.” The male snarled as he stood there with his hands balled up into fists at his side. Guillotine held his head high as he licked his lips with satisfaction. It seems that he’s pushed the human over the edge. It was quite satisfying to see that he could get under this humans skin so easily. What had begun to bother Gil was John’s lack of fear. It was hard to read the man’s body language or even his facial expressions. Guillotine could already feel the anxiety wafting off Jesse, but John was a completely different story. If the agent was scared he was very good at hiding it. This puzzled Gil to the point where he began to falter. For a brief moment he broke eye contact. Though this action was minor, it was a big deal in the beastly world. It was all about being top dog with him. And right now John was quickly rising within the ranks.
Despite being held at gunpoint Guillotine felt almost invincible. This was only because Akhtar was in the room. Granted, he couldn’t dodge a bullet but he knew his Alpha wouldn’t let anything bad happen to him. Thus was the reason why he was acting so damn cocky. Guillotine began to take his arrogance up a notice. His blood red eye glared at John, within them held his hatred from the agents. “Go on, pull the trigger. I dare you! Do it you son of a bitch! You’ll be doing me a f*cking favor.” This foolish male was willing to risk his own life, and for what, A little retribution? Guillotine was as dumb as they came. The poor hound only wanted a little recognition but instead he could possibly get a bullet through his skull. Gil wanted to make it seem as if he were in control of this situation. Losing it would make him feel powerless. And that was a feeling Guillotine never wanted to feel again. He couldn’t stand it!
Gil was as bad as they came in terms of intelligence. He was just created that way. Needless to say, the young beast had a lot to learn. Listening to humans would be one thing he would have to get used too. Under this brave act lied a scared little pup. Did Gil really want to die? No, the beast feared death. However with his master at his side he just wanted to prove that he wasn’t scared of this human or his gun. “Are you scared human?” Guillotine cooed as he slowly turned to look at Jesse. His blood red eye glared at the man. “You should sit, before I tear into your other arm…” The beast then released a low cackle. “I think you would look good with two casts, don’t you agree Akhtar?”
At this point in time anyone could call Guillotine’s bluff. The beast seemed to be stalling. He was throwing empty threats into the air without doing anything to back them up. Gil didn’t even make an attempt to transform; he wouldn’t transform. He feared the consequences of showing his hellish skin within the walls of the PIDA. As much as he wanted to spill blood he knew he couldn’t. Well, as long as Akhtar was there he would refrain from violence.
But, what more should be expected from a hellhound named Guillotine?

Akhtar was becoming angry. He couldn't believe what was taking place in the room. They weren't going to get anywhere if this continued to take place. They were all trying to show who had the biggest "gun." Akhtar wasn't having it. They were going to behave like civilized beings. He knew they had it all in them but they weren't willing to compromise. The agents didn't like Gil and he didn't like them. They were being stubborn and childish. How did they thing anything was to be accomplished? Akhtar was growing angrier by the second. Gil honestly thought they weren't willing to shoot him? What a fool...he knew not to push their buttons yet he continued to do so. He would get what was coming to him if he didn't behave.
Akhtar's normal gray eyes turned a golden amber color for a moment as he sat quietly taking in everything around him. Then he SNAPPED. Flames erupted within his eyes and blue flames erupted from his body. He slammed his fists on the table and stood up causing the table and chair he once sat in to slam into the nearby wall. He spoke to everyone in the room. His voice not even the same, it was as if the voice that came from within him was some higher being speaking through him. He looked at them all and said, "ENOUGH!!!! THIS IS NOT WHY I AM HERE AND THIS IS NOT HOW THIS WILL CONTINUE...PUT THE GUNS DOWN...." Akhtar turned his head and looked at both the agents who looked like they were more willing to pull the triggers than lower their guns, "PUT THEM DOWN!!!" He returned his attention to Gil, looking him dead in the face, his voice came out calm and eerily quiet, "Sit...and do NOT move..."

Had he stumbled into some weird parallel universe this morning? Jesse wondered. It was the only logical explanation that he could think of when he saw his normally so logical buddy letting what they both knew to be a homicidal hell spawn loose in the room. There were no words that could possibly describe how confused he was that TB was willing to give into Akhtar's request. Even Jesse wasn't dumb enough to let that thing free. It didn't matter that the one who suggested that they do it was Akhtar. While Jesse trusted the wizard prince wholeheartedly that he might take a risk or two to do what the man asked of him even he had his limits. Akhtar could be trusted but Guillotine couldn't be. Gil had given them more reasons to keep him bound to that chair than letting him loose. The prince had asked for too much there, and while he hated to disappoint the guy he didn't hesitate to decline. He thought John would do the same. After all if he, who could be so stupid at times (let's be honest, Jesse wasn't the brightest bulb in the room and he knew it) thought that it was a bad idea, then it made all the sense in the world that the one agent with the brains would think so too. At first it seemed that John was on his side on this one.. But then out of nowhere he agreed. Had John gone mad? Did he hit his head this morning? What the hell was going on here?
Even before Totalbiscuit let Guillotine go free Jesse knew that all hell was going to break loose. Jesse knew Gil, though they had only fought twice before and never had a real conversation he knew a thing or two about how well Gil followed orders. No matter how convincing TB was with his open threat Gil was going to do whatever he pleased because he was an arrogant and confident fool, with too much pride to just follow a simple request. His assumption was proven true the second that Gil was able to move. It was amazing just how crazy the hellhound dude could be. When John had gone into great deal just what would happen if he so much as twitched, and what did he do? He stood up and stretched. John was quick to react of course. Once Gil was on his feet John had drawn his gun. Guillotine was screwed now. It didn't take much to get on the brit's bad side, and Gil was already on his bad side. He didn't need much reason at all to put a bullet through his head, and since he had made a promise to do so just for what he had done now Guillotine had bought himself a one way ticket right back to hell. Jesse knew that he had to do something to stop John from killing Guillotine right now. While Jesse would be more than happy to see the bastard die they didn't come here to execute him.
There was only one thing that Jesse could do to help his partner from pulling the trigger. He had to join him. Jesse pulled out his gun almost as fast as his partner had done. While to anyone else in the room that seemed like that only made matters worse he knew that it was doing the opposite. John was only threatening the hound because he was worried about what would happen. Letting Gil loose meant risking the lives of everyone else in the room, but so long as he felt he had some level of control he wouldn't be so jumpy. When Gil ignored his order he shattered that illusion of control, so TB was trying to get that back. So long as Jesse showed him that he had his back his reaction would loosen a bit. Which it did. Now that this had become a two against one match John didn't pull the trigger right away...but that didn't stop him from threatening to kill the hell beast again. Come on Gil just back down before you get killed! It was crazy for him to want Gil to live but he did. They couldn't get answers from a dead man right? Gil needed to live, he had to live so they could get what they needed. That and the last thing he wanted to do was kill Gil in front of Akhtar. Akh couldn't be taking any of this well at all, but what did he expect to happen when he asked them to let him go?
Even with two guns pointed at him Guillotine didn't seem willing to back down. After the initial surprise having the first gun pointed at his face Gil stood his ground. But he didn't attack. That didn't go unnoticed by the agents. Jesse had a feeling that despite his demeanor Guillotine wasn't as confident as he tried to come off as. If Gil really felt like he was as strong as he was then he would've attacked by now, there had been enough time for him to fight back while they were debating pulling the trigger. Then again he could've just learned from his past encounter with them, it wasn't impossible that the dude had some brains after all. And then he started taunting TB and any illusion that the beast had any semblance of intellect at all had been shattered. Damn it Gil! Just sit down! it took a lot of effort on his part not to shout that thought. The hellhound was only making this situation worse, the more he egged his partner on the faster he was digging his own grave. John was a relatively cool guy, he could deal with a lot of crap (most of which came from Jesse himself) but once he got to his breaking point he got ugly. Jesse was bad enough when he lost his patience but at least the worse that he could do was yell and rant for awhile and after that forget about the problem. John was different, and the person he was pissed with was different too.
Jesse tried to catch John's eye, Please let me do it, let me shoot him he tried to signal to the man. If his partner gave him the go ahead then Gil's life would be spared. He couldn't avoid getting shot but Jesse could give him a good warning shot. All he needed to do was graze the guy with one good shot to prove a point. Everyone would win then...well everyone but Akhtar. Boy was he going to hate them all for this later. But he had to do what had to be done, and just hope to god he could try to make it up to the man later. While Jesse was trying to send mental signals Gil turned his focus on him, taunting him like he was doing to his partner. "Scared? Me?" he laughed. "Look pal, I am not the one with a gun to my head or with a really pissed off TB on my hands. For once I am good."
"Don't make us have to repeat ourselves again. sit down right now." Now Jesse put on his serious face. He was done joking around now. It was time to treat this like it was. First he needed to defuse the situation a bit. "This isn't a request, its a demand. You can't honestly believe that your life is worth so little that you are willing to die just because we are asking you to do something. We aren't asking you to lick our shoes, or grovel at our feet. We are just asking that you sit down and answer some questions. Please just do what we ask." Would his persuasion attempt work? He would never know, because the second after he spoke Akhtar erupted. Literally erupted. Both men jumped in surprise when the firey man snapped at them. Jesse was quick to back off, nearly dropping his weapon on the floor. But John despite all what he saw still stood his ground. "TB just drop it, he's not worth getting killed over." Jesse said, he was certain that Akhtar would attack if John didn't let up. That was the last thing anyone of them needed. Jesse couldn't stand the thought of having to turn on someone he only just considered as a friend. While he would definitely back John up, even if he was luck enough to mimic Akhtar's abilities he just didn't have it in him to seriously fight the guy. TB's eyes flickered between the three of them before he cursed and lowered his gun, but he didn't move. He just stood where he was and glared at Gil as Akhtar turned on the hellhound.
With a long sigh Jesse put his gun away and looked at everyone else in the room. "We good now? Everyone got that out of their system?" He waited a bit for an answer, his partner at least didn't say anything. Jesse knew that the brit was far from okay but he ignored that. He didn't even care at this point what the others would say. He at least was done. He was tired and fed up with the whole mess and just wanted it over no matter how badly it turned out. Jesse sat back down and turned a stoney gaze back at Gil. "You don't like us, and we don't like you. But believe it or not we didn't come here to kill you. What we are here for is to talk about the incident that you and a few of your friends started six months ago, where one of your co-workers was murdered. I invited your friend over there-" he gestured to the very pissed off Akhtar, "Because as your friend and your former boss he deserves to know what went down."
"So this is how this is going to go. You are going to sit down with us here and tell us word about what happened. We will ask you for every single detail of those events and you will answer them. If we have to stay in this room all day to do that then we will do so. If you can't follow our simple instructions we will act, and you will get hurt or worse." he turned back to Akhtar. "I am sorry but those are our terms. None of this would be necessary if he was tied down like before, so I can't guarantee that we will not do so even if you set us on fire." he turned his full attention back to Guillotine again. "Don't think that just because your friend is with us that we won't react. I'm sure my partner here would be glad to kill you even if that means that he will be killed for it. You might get to die with knowledge that we will go with you but that won't change the fact you will be dead. If you have any sense at all you will cooperate for the time being."
"Now Gil, please take a seat. Then the rest of us can get seated and get this over with. Alright?"

Guillotine would play the dominance game for as long as it would take for the agents to surrender. The foolish beast was stupid enough to provoke an attack just too active this goal. Clearly, Jesse and John weren’t going to surrender so easily. Gil just wasn’t getting the message. The beast had a lot to learn. Pack dynamics wouldn’t exactly work with a human. Such a feral way of thinking wouldn’t be understood here. Gil couldn’t interact with these agents like he could his own pack. Back then he used his body language to put his pack mates into submission. Here he could get shot for doing so. If Guillotine kept this ruse up for any longer he would lose his life. This realization didn’t occur to the ill-brained hellhound. He was too high and mighty to take such threats likely. Guillotine continued to stand before John, is body grew ridged and his jet black hair began to spike up with anger. Taunting the agents wasn’t going to help him, not in the least. If anything it would make the situation worse for him. He was already labeled as dangerous by the PIDA, and now reckless actions only seemed to prove that.
The trio’s response wasn’t what he would have expected. Perhaps the male was just too full of himself? Here Gil thought he could take on two armed PIDA agents and a very angry wizard. Oh, how wrong he was. The hellish beast was far too arrogant to back down; Even if it meant death. In a way, he really had nothing to live for anymore. His one and only love Akeelah was through with him. Then again could he really blame the woman? He’d caused her both mental and physical harm and didn’t even bat an eyelash. Whether Gil wished to admit it or not, he had been abusive towards his Akeelah. Sure Gil did have a loving side. However, he did have a very controlling nature. Gil wished to control the free spirited shifter, and when he couldn’t he would use violence to compensate.
Surly Akeelah would never forgive him for what he did to her. Chasing after her was a lost cause that ended with bloodshed. Now the poor girl was at some agent’s house being taken care of. John had informed him of this during their last get together. Gil was thankful they didn’t bring the shifter to the PIDA, or put her in a cage. She was safe in the agent’s care. Maybe now was the time to finally let her go? After all, Gil doubted he would make it out of the PIDA alive. Even with Akhtar here, he was certain these humans would make the smart decision to put him down. They did it to other humans who killed, why wouldn’t they do the same to a savage bloodthirsty beast?
Suddenly, Guillotine began to noticeably wince. The medication he was given was wearing off, and a sharp throbbing pain began to pulse inside of his shattered knee. For a brief moment Gil looked down at the little leg brace he was wearing. This damn thing would make escape nearly impossible. Even if he wanted to fight back he knew he couldn’t stand a ghost of a chance against the Agent’s guns, or Akhtar’s magic. As much as it pained him, he would have to deal with this satiation he had gotten himself into. A single blood red eye glanced over at Jesse. The beast wasn’t too happy; his ‘alpha’ routine wasn’t working. These humans weren’t getting intimidated, not in the least. Still, Gil attempted to keep his composure, even as Jesse spoke. “Pfft, I’m not scared of you or your guns, human.” Guillotine then motioned to john. “I’m not scared of that bastard either. Both of you can go to hell.” He growled. Gil was a liar in many ways; this case wouldn’t be any different. Apart of the beast was fearful of what these armed humans could do. But that still wouldn’t stop him from making a total fool of himself.
When Jesse told the beast to sit down again he merely rolled his eyes. Jesse then continued talking after that, attempting to console the savage beast so he would listen. Unfortunately, his words had fallen on deaf ears. “No-“ Gil began but he was quickly interrupted by his boss. Just seconds before the room began to grow hot. Confused, Gil looked over to Akhtar just as the man began speak. Anger and sheer rage was wafting of the male in waves. He could hear it in his voice and it began to frighten the savage beast. As he spoke the table and chair began to slide back and hit the wall. The loud crash caused Gil to jump back. He then stumbled as he did so he fell back onto his bum. Guillotine then winced before looking up at the very angry wizard. The prince commanded that the agents put their guns away. He was literally on fire by this point.
Fear could be seen in Guillotine’s eyes. He knew the wizard wouldn’t cause him physical harm, he just feared being reprimanded by the powerful prince. Akhtar seemed fed up with the arguing, and decided to take matters into his own hands. Though fearful apart of Gil was thankful the wizard had been there, he was protecting him from the human’s guns (or so he thought). Gil could hear the clang of Jesse’s gun hitting the ground, one down one to go. Gil glanced over at TB just as he lowered his gun. Soon after, Gil smirked. He then opened his mouth and was about to make a very harsh comment when Akhtar turned on him. His smile died almost immediately. Guillotine’s head snapped around to look at Akhtar, giving him the look a child would give to their parents when they did something wrong. Akhtar seemed to have calmed down a bit, but there was still that little piece of sternness still left in that Arabic voice of his. The powerful man told Gil to sit in the chair and not to get up. Gil nodded, he wasn’t about to argue with the prince.
Guillotine painfully crawled back to his chair. With a loud grunt he pulled himself up and planted his butt firmly onto the seat. It felt nice to have his restrains off but he still wanted to stand up and move around. He then looked down before replying. “S-sorry Akhtar…” The beast didn’t reply when Jesse asked the group if it was all out of their systems. He then went on to say that they didn’t come here to kill him. The beast shot Jesse a warning growl. “That’s a lie human.. When you get the answers you want you won’t have a need for me anymore…your case will be solved and I will be put to death.“Gil then glanced over to Akhtar and frowned. Jesse had said that Akhtar needed to know the truth. For once Gil agreed with Jesse on something. ”I-I suppose he does deserve to know…but he won’t like what I have to say.” Gil began to wonder why John didn’t tell them what he had already said to him. A while back they spoke about the situation, and Gil had told him everything. Perhaps they wanted to get it straight from the source? That would make since. Jesse then made his little speech, all the while Gil snorted. “Fine, whatever! I’ll behave.” He barked. These humans where so persistent! The beast sat his tough pale hands onto his lap before turning to the trio. ”I’ll tell you everything that happened that day. What do you want to know first?”
(( I hope this post is ok. sorry for the wait))

Finally happy with how things were turning out Akhtar returned his normal form. The flames were no more. The table and chairs that were thrown around were replaced in their original location. Akhtar sat back in his place as Gil went on to explain that he wouldn't like what he would hear. Akhtar waved it off saying, "Gil...I just want to hear the truth...I just want this over with...As for them executing you I am sure we can figure something out when it comes to that...for now, tell them what they are asking of you." Akhtar's voice was calm and soothing. His hazel-gray eyes seemed to sparkle a bit as he spoke.
He looked around and couldn't believe that this is where Gil ended up. Well...it wasn't a far stretch but two years before Akhtar was sure that Gil wouldn't have been there. It was as if Gil had done a complete reversal. He was finally coming around and doing great but something happened in that mind of his that sent him spiraling out of control. Perhaps it was the break up with Akeelah? Or was it those drugs he was taking? Akhtar tried his best to help the hellhound but he coudln't keep a constant eye on him. Gil was an adult, although Akhtar used the word loosely, he was still an adult and needed to be held responsible for his actions.
Akhtar couldn't count the countless times he had gotten Gil out of tight spots and it was honestly starting to wear him out. He didn't know how many times police officers came into either Rio or Luna looking for Gil because he had been involved in some brawl. Akhtar used his influence to clear Gil's name but now he wasn't able to do that. Nor was he was certain that he wanted to, Gil needed to be taught a serious lesson. He was like a rich kid who thought they could go around doing anything with little to no consequences. Those days were over. How often had Akhtar warned Gil that if he continued his luck would run out? Well it had finally come true. Akhtar felt some sympathy for him but not much.
Charm was Gil's specialty. It didn't work or Akhtar or the agents it seemed. They were immune to it and Akhtar was ready for Gil to face the music. He wanted Gil to look in the mirror and see all of his mistakes and make a complete change but he knew that it wouldn't happen. Now was the time for all the answers though. This was the moment of truth...

When Jesse had came into headquarters today he knew that he was going to have a rough day, but he never dreamed that it would be this rough. Yeah Guillotine could be an annoying asshole, it was in his nature to be, and it didn’t help that he and John were not on good terms with him. But neither he nor his partner was going to try and get on his good books just for the sake of getting what they wanted. It was a lost cause first of all, only someone who was completely mental would ever consider being friends with the very people that shot and arrested him. Guillotine maybe dumb (that was the only logical explanation for why he would egg them on to shoot his butt), but he didn’t strike Jesse as mental…well, not that mental anyway. It really didn’t help that they let the overly aggressive monster free either. Even if Gil was going to be a pain to work with at least he would be nothing more than an annoyance. An annoyance he could deal with, he had been banking on Guillotine being an annoyance today and had mentally prepared himself for that. But when he was loose he was a downright danger. Sure Gil wouldn’t be able to go as far as he did in that last fight in the condition he was in, but he would still manage to do some damage.
Letting Guillotine out was what caused everything to go to hell. The agents had lost control of the situation and thus they acted harshly. If only TB had stuck his guns on this one, they wouldn’t have gotten into the mess that they did now. Oh well, what can you do? At least it was over now, and hey, no one got shot. It wasn’t much, given that they almost got the room set on fire by a very pissed off arch-mage but it was a small victory so he would take it. When the table and chairs returned to their proper place Jesse sat down, and waited for the others to do the same. After a bit of reluctance John returned to his spot next to Jesse, still giving Guillotine a look of utter contempt. Jesse shook his head. Great, John was in a bad mood now. An angry John was a bad John, especially when he was this pissed off. He wondered which was worse, having to deal with an angry John or Akhtar before reminding himself that despite how scary TB could be at least he was less likely to set him on fire.
Finally Gil admitted defeat and took a seat as well. The moment he did Jesse started talking. Now was the moment they had all been waiting for. There would be no more kidding around or angry outbursts. Jesse wanted to get down to business. Now that he had the floor the man tried to set down so pretty simple ground rules and explain how the interrogation would go down. But after he spoke Gil said something interesting. John let out a snort and Jesse gave Gil a curious look when he called him a liar. Really, did he really think that they were just going to kill him like that? Truth be told neither he nor his partner knew what would happen to Guillotine after this meeting was over. That lack of knowledge had been the very reason why TB and Nova had tried to hide the shapeshifter girl when they found her. He couldn’t exactly blame the hound for worrying about that, but still, for him to think that they were going to just blow his head off regardless of how well he cooperated was absurd.
“I’ll be honest here with you Gilly.” Jesse began. “This is going to be the last time that we see each other. When we are done here, my partner and I are going to give all the information you give us to our superiors. It will be them who decide in the end what your fate will be. Will that mean you will be put to death afterwards? I don’t know and I got no say in the matter. For all we know the worst that will happen to you is that you will be kept in your cell for the rest of your life. What you tell us today will decide your fate. If what you tell us today proves that you are innocent, or if anyway justifies what you have done then I will vouche for your freedom. I might hate your guts, but I refuse to let someone who I think is innocent get hurt. Even if I don’t like them.” Jesse really doubted that Gil was in any shape or form innocent at all, but what he said was the truth. He was likely to get in trouble for the damage he had done when escaping capture, but if by any chance he was anything less than a cold blooded killer he would protect the beast.
“So let’s get down to business…care to pass me the file TB?” he asked his friend. John grabbed the file and handed to him, after giving the british man a quick thanks Jesse started going through it. Where should they start? He wondered. There many ways to cover this but Jesse wanted to do this in a way that would give him the most facts. Jesse wanted to know every painstaking detail of this case, who knew what piece of info they could get that could turn the whole case around on its head. “Why don’t we start off from somewhere simple?” he suggested, pulling out a picture of the victim and putting it on the table for Guillotine to see clearly. The easiest place to start would be for him to give information on all parties involved, so why not start with the victim. “You recognize Elizabeth right? Mind telling me how you two met, and what kind of relationship you had?”

“Don’t call me Gilly...” Guillotine snarled his body began to tremble with rage. Gil wasn’t about to let this man belittle him like this. Though there was really nothing he could do about it. At this point Gil seemed to be all bark and no bite. He would obey and answer any questions these guys had in fear that Akhtar would lose it again. The wizard was quite scary when he lost his temper. Jesse soon explained that this would be the last time he saw them. Guillotine rolled his forest green eye. He truly didn’t care. “Good, I don’t want to have to see your faces ever again.” Guillotine replied hastily. His words were true, he really didn’t care if he ever saw TB or Jesse ever again. Jesse then went on to explain the circumstances. Apparently they wouldn’t be the one to kill him if the time every came. Their superiors would be challenged with that task. If he was to be put down Gil would most certainly fight them every step of the way. This would only happen if he didn’t give them the right answers. Gil was tempted to lie but he figure that would only put him in the dog house since he already told TB everything. Besides, if he lied it could possibly put Akeelah in danger. Guillotine swallowed hard at the thought. He’d already hurt the shifter so much already, he didn’t want to cause her anymore pain. If anything were to happen to Akeelah he would never be able to forgive himself. The beast’s hands were tied, there was nothing he could do but tell the truth. Akeelah crept back into his mind again. He’d never truly forgotten about her, even when he was cheating, she would always be in his mind. The last he heard, the woman was staying with the agents. A low growl streamed passed Gil’s lips as he thought about Akeelah being in another man’s home. It angered him to think that they could be anywhere near his ex. After thinking this over the male sighed, he needed to calm down before be lost himself. What he said today would not only decide his fate, but possibly Akeelah’s as well. Guillotine grumbled, either way he was going to be f*cked. The hellhound believed they were going to put him to death, and why wouldn’t they? He was apparently too dangerous to let out of his cell. Guillotine cocked his head to the side as Jesse asked TB for his file. They had a file on him? Gil thought about this for a moment. He was quite familiar with files. He had to use quite a few while working at Lunas. Humans used them to keep track of things, and now he had one of his own. He wouldn’t be surprised if it held the records of the people he killed. Gil wondered what would happen if he were to burn the file? Could they use it against him then? Gil was snatched from his thoughts as Jesse placed the picture of Elizabeth in front of him. Looking over her face Gil seemed to smirk. He had almost forgotten just how lovely she looked before he completely mutilated it.
“Ah yes, dear Elizabeth.” He remembered this little bitch. She was his little work place stalker. “I could never forget her face, only because she was constantly in mine…” The male grumbled, as his forest green eyes peered up at his captors. Jesse then asked about their relationship. Relationship, was he serious? Gil had to stifle a laugh. He looked Jesse in the eye and smirked. “Let’s get this straight, we didn’t have a relationship.” The male sighed, god he could use a smoke right now. “We met a work. I unfortunately was the one who hired her; Big mistake. But I will tell you that woman was obsessed! Elizabeth wouldn’t leave me the f*cking alone. She always had to be around whenever I showed up for work. “Gil then growled memories of Elizabeth flooded into his head. “The bitch even followed me into the bathroom, the fucking bathroom!” The male then balled up his fists in his lap and released a displeased snort.
“I was dating Akeelah at the time, so I told her to back off. But even then she still didn’t let up. That is, until I killed her.” The male smirked as he looked at Akhtar. The wizard was well aware of what was going on inside the work place. He gave the man a cold glare before returning to his gaze to Jesse. “That’s really all I have to say about her. She was an obsessed bitch who needed to be put in her place. Elizabeth deserved the fate she was dealt. None of this would have happened if she didn’t get in my way…” Guillotine then scratched the light stubble on his chin before he asked. "Can I get a smoke or something? I told you what you need to know, the least you can do is spare a cigarette...or two."

Not even allowing a moments silence to pass Akhtar spoke up. He wanted to address something before it was even more out of control. Guillotine must have forgotten his place. Guillotine must have forgotten that HE was the reason that they were all sitting around here even discussing this. Akhtar spoke up and a deadly dark tone, it sent chills down one's spine, "Guillotine...I must remind you ONCE more..." he said through gritted teeth, "Mind YOUR tongue...or I will snatch it out and have you drown in your own blood. Need I remind you I left you in COMPLETE control of Luna...That was essentially YOUR store...I gave you free reign to do whatever you felt necessary so for you to even give subtle hints that Elizabeth's fate was of my own doing your are sadly mistaken my dear friend..."
Akhtar's tone never faltered when he was speaking to Guillotine. Was Akhtar truly the only person who did not fear the hellhound? It was a possibility. Perhaps TB didn't fear him either but Jesse definitely had fear within his heart. The wizard prince didn't have the patience to play Gil's games. He wouldn't be drawn into them either. They were here as a result of all things relating to Guillotine. What made Akhtar so angry was the simple fact that he constantly warned him of his troublesome ways. Akhtar truthfully cared for Guillotine but he couldn't rescue him.
After giving Gil a quick memory jolt he continued on to what he had to say about Elizabeth, "Gil's biggest and obviously, his most fatal flaw was that he would allow a beautiful face to cloud his judgement. He would often times not think with the correct head and he would in the end regret it. If I could honestly tell you all how many girls I had to fire because Guillotine didn't really pick the best candidate I may end up going bankrupt. He wanted to be the boss but in the end I had to go and clean up the mess. The difference with Elizabeth was that she was actually a smart girl and not an idiot. While I must agree with Gil that she WAS indeed obsessed with him I told him he would have to deal with it." Akhtar looked over to Gil as he said this daring the male to challenge him as if he were saying anything but the truth.
The thing about Akhtar was that he was COMPLETELY honest. He would tell you of your flaws in one breath, but in the same breath point out your redeeming qualities that most times outweighed ones flaws. Akhtar continued with what he was saying about Elizabeth,"As I said once before, I spent and still do spend most of my time in Rio. Luna is my store but I don't run it. I let Gil do his thing. Let me say this, Elizabeth had her ways about her. She seemed so sweet and innocent but the reality of it all is that she was a psycho. She knew of Gil's unnatural nature I guess one could say. She worshiped that about him. I was made aware of that but I wasn't getting involved."
Akhtar chuckled as he thought about a previous situation that was quite similar."Gil here actually hired a set of twins before. Samantha and Caroline. They were two very pretty girls. I guess Gil wanted to say he conquered a set of twins...I'm not even sure. Needless to say they were CRAZY...not Elizabeth crazy but seriously crazy. After I finally got those two out of my store I told Gil NEVER AGAIN. I told him if he hired anyone else for the wrong reasons he would have to fire them. I guess after Gil turned her advances down one too many times and then she saw the fight happen I guess she figured that would be the perfect opportunity to try and get some sympathy from the world. Unfortunately the world is mourning for her now as well..."

“Look pal, I can call you whatever I want.” Jesse replied a little too sharply for his taste. It was plainly obvious despite the panic that ensued when Akhtar lost it, that the anger between everyone in the room didn’t die. Jesse had tried at first to be the calmer one of the group, only making a few verbal jabs here and there, but over all kept himself cool. Guillotine wasn’t worth the anger after all, that was what he had come into this interrogation thinking. He knew that the stupid hellhound would try to mess with him and he wasn’t having it. He could’ve handled it and kept his anger in check if things hadn’t gone down the way they did earlier. Now Jesse was annoyed with this. He just wanted to get this over with. He just wanted to find out exactly what happened from the one guy he knew for sure caused this whole mess in the first place and be done with it. But Gil just had to act like the bigger ass here and it was getting on his nerves.
He wasn’t the only one majorly ticked. Akhtar had gotten so pissed with all of it that he almost set the room on fire, and TB? Oh TB was pissed beyond belief. Jesse didn’t even have to look at his partner to tell that the man had lost all sense of patience. He could feel his friend’s agitation radiating off of him, he didn’t need to be an empath to tell that. John wasn’t one of those guys that could take a lot of sh*t before he snapped, but he did have a great deal more patience than Jesse did. If TB was pissed then that was saying a lot. It also meant that Gil was going to get more than one guy being a major dick with him. As defiant as Gil was trying to be he wasn’t going to handle the british man’s anger well. For the moment though John was silent, while this would have worried Jesse any other time he chose to ignore his partner’s rage to focus on the task at hand. They were here to question Guillotine after all, not snap at each other right?
What better way to get the conversation going, than by talking about the victim? Jesse had learned a fair bit about the kind of person that Elizabeth had been from the diary that Akhtar had given to him. Elizabeth had been a bright girl with a promising future; everyone that Jesse had interviewed that knew her had a lot of good things to say about her. But no one knew that she had a deep and scary fascination with demons and black magic. He knew what she was doing with Gil before he killed her. The girl was crazy, that much he would admit. Her obsession was bound to get her killed, if not by Gil’s hands than by something else. But still, he had to ask about her and learn from Gil’s side why he killed her off. He wasn’t expecting much though, it was highly unlikely that Gil would reveal something to justify what he did but he was obligated to give him that chance.
Guillotine didn’t disappoint him there. After looking at the picture Gil told the trio about how crazy and obsessed Elizabeth had been. And when he mentioned her demise he didn’t seem the least bit remorseful at all, in fact he looked quite pleased with himself. For him Elizabeth had been nothing more than a nuisance that he needed to take care of, and he did. What did it matter to him that in doing so he ended up killing her? Jesse hadn’t expected anything different from Gil but it made him angry all the same. There had to be a million different things that he could’ve done to handle his psycho stalker, and he had to choose the most violent route. Jesse was tempted to chastise him for that, but his partner beat him to it.
“Did it ever occur to your pea sized brain to just call the cops?” John said. “You knew that the woman that you employed was not right in the head, but you couldn’t figure out how to deal with her? The easiest thing you could’ve done was fire her. And if that didn’t work out you could’ve gone to the cops and let the authorities deal with her. Even if she had told them what you were no one would believe her.” It was then that Akhtar had shined some light onto Gil’s past trouble with previous employees and how much trouble he had to go through to clean up after the ones before Elizabeth. Jesse whistled, hardly believing what he heard. John on the other hand laughed. “You truly are a piece of work.” He told Gil. “I can see how Elizabeth didn’t take you seriously when you told her that you were in a relationship, if you base your employment on how badly you want to screw them.”
“Speaking of the fight…” Jesse cut in before John had the chance to say anything worse. “From what we learned what caused this was some kind of dispute between you, your girlfriend, and her adoptive brother.” Jesse pulled out the pictures of Akeelah and Raffe from the file for everyone else to see. “Can you tell us what happened between you three?”

A loud grumble forced itself from Guillotine’s lips. Akhtar had begun to grow irritated by the hound’s lame excuses. Gil rolled his forest green eyes as Akhtar made his comment. For once in his life, Gil wasn’t going to blow up. He knew he couldn’t do that with Akhtar. The male would show a bit of attitude, but he wouldn’t do much. Gil knew the wizard prince wouldn’t hold back on his punishment. Hell, the man could easily kill him right then and there if he wanted too. It was best not to anger him, but Gil was going to speak his mind. “Yeah, you did. I thought I did a pretty damn good job of running it too. It’s not like you were there much anyway. That is why I hired those ladies. I know they would listen to me whether they wanted too or not. ” Guillotine thought back to Luna. It wasn’t hard running a store when you had an alpha attitude. Suppose that is why Gil did so well? (well for the most part.) It was stressful at times but he pushed through it. As long as people obeyed him he was happy. From time to time he would lose his cool. But that was to be expected. Gil couldn’t recall a moment when the employees refused to follow his orders. Soon, Akhtar spoke, breaking Guillotine from his thoughts. The prince’s words seemed to rub Gil the wrong way.
Why was Akhtar talking about him like this? The young man had turned to speak to Jesse and John. He spoke as if Gil wasn’t in the room at all. This action alone irritated the young beast. A jolt of anger rushed through Guillotine’s tall frame. His eyes narrowed and his jaw set. The male was about to speak when Akhtar gave him that challenging glare. This stare alone seemed to shut the beast up. Instead of saying his peace and rebelling against Akhtar, Guillotine crossed his arms in front of his chest and gave a little pout. This wasn’t far, none of it was. If only he’d stayed away from that damn school, none of this would be happening right now.
When Akhtar mentioned the fact that Elizabeth worshiped him the hound cocked an eye brow. Did Akhtar truly think Elizabeth worshiped him? Sure, she was obsessed but not worshiped. Guillotine was obviously taking this figure of speech the wrong way. Nevertheless, a breathless chuckle streamed from his lips. “As much as I like the idea of her worshiping me, she didn’t. Elizabeth was already worshiping someone else, Sateen, Satoon…I can’t remember the name. Apparently, I had something to do with the person she worshiped. That was the only real reason she liked me.“At times like this Gil hated the fact that he couldn’t remember a damn thing about his past. He couldn’t quite remember the name of the demon Elizabeth had mentioned either. It had to have something to do with his past. The pieces were slowly coming together. Guillotine had already known he wasn’t from this world. This puzzled Gil to no end. Oh, how he wished he could remember at least one little detail. But alas, he couldn’t recall a damn thing.
“Conquered?” Guillotine queered. A low dark chuckle crept from the hound as he spoke again. Akhtar decided to talk about the twins Gil had hired. The man’s figure of speech was rather amusing. Bit it didn’t sit right with Gil. “I didn’t conquer them, Akhtar. I fucking destroyed them.” Gil decided to throw his two cents in. His innuendos seemed limitless. Perhaps his macho hellhound persona wanted him to seem dominant. As Idiotic as this man seem, he wasn’t in a position to be gloating about his affairs when, at the time, he was dating Akeelah. Thoughts of the young shifter began to seep into his skull soon after he made this comment. Guilt quickly followed. Guillotine’s chuckles where virtually nonexistent now. A frown soon took over his handsome face. No wonder why Akeelah left him. Slowly he began to realize what he had done to upset her. With a sigh he continued. “A human’s will is easy to mend. Maybe I didn’t a little too much mending.”
When Akhtar spoke of Elizabeth’s death again Gil rolled his eyes. He didn’t quite understand why humans were so sensitive. “Are you kidding me? No one is morning over her, Akhtar. She was just another cow sent to slaughter. There are plenty of you humans left. Killing off one isn’t going to put you humans at risk of extinction.” Guillotine seemed numb to humility. The beast truly didn’t care who he killed, as long as he got something out of it. Greed seemed to be Guillotine’s calling, but if he didn’t watch himself he would end up falling victim to his own stupidity.
Jesse seemed to be getting a little irritated by the beast’s disrespectful attitude. The human snapped at Gil, stating that he would call the hound whatever he wanted. The beast growled, and his nose crinkled. He didn’t have to put up with this. Like a sassy teen Gil rolled his eyes. “Shut it tubby, before I decide to tear you a new one.” The hound was silenced by John, whom also seemed a bit annoyed by this situation. Everyone in the room was on edge. Suppose they had a right to be?
Gil cocked an eye brow as the other agent spoke. John had a few words to share. “The police? No, that’s stupid. ” Did this man know anything about pride? Why would a hellhound call the police when he could clearly handle the situation (though he didn’t handle it very well…).“I’m a hellhound. I don’t need to rely on your pathetic human police to get shit done. Ever heard of pride, human? I’m sure you know nothing about it. Besides, the cops and I aren’t on very good terms.” Ah yes, he could remember the fights. Guillotine had been in too many to count. Thanks to his temper Guillotine would always get into brawls. It didn’t matter where the hound went. If he would appear then there was a good chance a fight would start. Violence seemed to stand in his wake. The cops knew of this. Gil was violent. Luckily, he’d only managed to get caught only a handful of times. Still, the police seemed to know him well.
Guillotine thought about his next words carefully. “Yes, I could have fired her, but that wouldn’t have solved anything. She would have still stalked me, job or not. Let’s just say I took care of her. “ A devilish grin appeared onto the hellhound’s face. He then gave a quick glance to the three men before speaking again. “The dead don’t have any worries, my friends. I truly don’t understand why you get so riled up about it. There are plenty of humans here right? It’s not like you guys are going to die off. One dead human isn’t a big deal." Guillotine kept his mouth shut about the others he had killed. It would be stupid to mention them. Countless people had suffered the wrath of Gil’s fangs.
When John spoke about his relationship with his other employees the beast shrugged. He wasn’t going to hide it. Gil was a bit of a man-whore. “Eh, a man has his needs. Are you two really going to scold me on my work ethic? ” These humans were strange, but a bit entertaining nonetheless.
A loud chuckle streamed from Gil’s throat when Jesse spoke of Raffe being Akeelah’s brother. “Adoptive brother? Did you say brother!? Hahah!” The male seemed a bit choked up over this. The word adoptive seemed to fly right over his head. His mind seemed preoccupied with the brother side of it. He wiped a tear from his eyes. “That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. He isn’t her brother.“ The male then looked from Jesse, and then to TB. “So who was the idiot who thought of that one?”
Guillotine cocked an eye brow. So they wanted to know what happened. Why? What would be the point? Now they were just digging into his personal life. Then again, Elizabeth did die during the fight. Suppose he’d have to humor them either way. Gil thought for a moment, as if thinking back to that day. His pale hand began to scratch the light stubble on his chin. “Well, Akeelah came to my work and asked to speak to me. I thought it was strange, because she never came to my work before. We sat down to talk when that bastard Raffe showed up. He started barking insults in a stupid tone of his. Ugh, Just his voice irritates the hell out of me. ” The male’s brow furrowed. “A few weeks or so ago, the little runt of a wolf decided to pay my roommate a visit. While he was at our house I smelled Akeelah’s scent on him. I had no idea they were staying with each her at the time, but really it didn’t matter. Akeelah was hanging around with him; he even said she used him as a pillow…a fucking pillow!” Guillotine suddenly stopped, it took him a moment to calm down before he continued. “You can only imaging just how pissed I was to hear this. Keep in mind Akeelah was my mate at the time. We fought, and blah blah blah.” Guillotine grumbled.
Taking in a deep breath he finished his story. “Anyway, when Raffe showed up at my work Akeelah tried to get him to leave but the smug bastard wouldn’t budge. He just stood there, pushing my buttons like the first time we met. I can only take so much before I snap. That’s when I transformed. I just couldn’t take it anymore. Of course Elizabeth had to interfere. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I guess she tried to calm me down by petting me. Heh, it was a fatal mistake. Pissed, I spun around and grabbed her. It didn’t take much to toss her to the ground.” A light almost amused smirk appeared onto Guillotine’s face as he thought back to that fateful day. He was already fucked to begin with. Why not tell these agents the whole truth. If anything, he hoped this story could spare Akeelah. The male cleared his throat before continuing. “That was when I grabbed her head in my jaws. It only took a second for me to crack her skull. I can remember the taste. So…delicious.”

D<), I am sorry that this apology is so fricken long and aoifhoafihofahof....
TL;DR: I am a derp and I am sorry))
Guillotine was pretty mad. It was obvious enough to anyone that happened to be in the room to see. It wasn’t too surprising to Jesse of course. It was really easy to push Gil’s buttons; he had done that a few times himself without even trying. But to see the hellhound sitting there silently glaring at everyone in the room was new. Gil was easy to piss off but he was always pretty vocal about it, when he wasn’t spending that time trying to literally bite someone’s head off. This was the first time that Jesse got to see a silent angry Gil. That of course was thanks to Akhtar. Perhaps the mutt was holding his tongue so he wouldn’t get on his boss’s bad side. He couldn’t blame him for that. The young wizard’s display of power had rattled everyone in the room. It was a bad idea to get on Akhtar’s bad side. Jesse wasn’t about to get on the man’s bad side a second time, and it looked like Gil was following the same train of thought.
…for about two seconds. Yup, it didn’t take long for Gil to run his mouth again like the arrogant prick that he was. Both TB and him listen to the hound talk to Akhtar for a moment, not bothering to interrupt the fool trying to one up the prince. Jesse was fine with letting the hellhound speak and eventually face more of Akhtar’s wrath. As for why TB didn’t speak up Jesse didn’t know. Maybe he wanted the same thing he did, or he was just trying to find any excuse to lay it onto the bastard. Who knew? It wasn’t until Gil started denying that Elizabeth had been worshipping him did both me laugh. “You really are some kind of moron, aren’t you?” John said.
“What your buddy Akh was trying to say there was that Elizabeth was obsessed with you, not that she literally worshipped you.” Jesse chimed in. “You can’t deny that much. The chick wrote an awful lot about you in her diary.” The man tapped the little book with his finger as he spoke. It was plainly obvious to any idiot that read the girl’s diary how obsessed she was with Guillotine. “Elizabeth was a Satanist, and because she found out what you were she thought that you had a connection with Satan that she desired. But at some point she fell in love with you and got too close. I am guessing that that’s why you killed her.” That much he didn’t deny. As Gil continued to talk it was blatantly obvious what he thought of Elizabeth as well as the other women that happened to work for him. This guy had no remorse at all for what he had done.
It was hard to believe that Akhtar was actually friends with this guy. Akhtar seemed like such a nice and caring guy that Jesse found it hard to believe that he could ever find something good about this monster sitting across from them, let alone trust him enough to entrust his shop and employees to. Jesse had tried his best to try to find this so called good side to Guillotine, or even a hint of regret or remorse for what he had done to maybe go easy on the guy but he just couldn’t find it. Guillotine was a lost cause, but at least he wasn’t one that he would get too upset about. Even as he thought that though Gil still managed to rub him and even his partner the wrong way, when he laughed at the idea that anyone would mourn the girl he killed. “You son of a bitch! There are people that are mourning her.” Jesse was on his feet before he knew what he was doing. Why was he getting so angry over this? He knew that Gil was too much of a monster to understand all the pain he put people through, let alone care about it. But somehow hearing those words coming out of his mouth got under his skin. “That chick may have been crazy but she still had people that cared for her. She had friends, and a family. Do you have any idea how they felt when they found out that she was murdered? I did. I saw the misery in their faces when I visited them. I saw how much her parents cried over her after what you did. Everyone has someone who would mourn them if they were killed. How would you feel if someone close to you died huh? If you had any kind of compassion you should feel ashamed of yourself.”
“Jesse. Calm down and take a seat.” Jesse had almost forgotten where he was till he felt Tb’s hand resting on his arm. “He’s not worth the anger.” Jesse hesitated for a second but obeyed his partner. John was right; he really wasn’t worth the anger. John fixed Gil with a cold hard stare.“He is right. It might be hard for a moron like you to understand the way our kind think, but we as a society value the lives of our people. Even the most vile of us have someone that would be hurt if their lives were taken the way you have taken Elizabeth’s and everyone else." A dark smile crossed the brit’s lips."I can’t say the same thing for you though. I doubt anyone would mourn for you when you are gone. Your own actions have already driven those that might’ve given a crap away. I can’t say I blame them.”
Eventually the conversation resumed at a more normal pace (if you’d consider Gil acting like a smug jerk, and TB constantly bashing him in turn normal). Jesse stopped paying attention to what Gil had to say at that point. Anything that the hound said now would only piss him off. Gil was a lost cause, a waste of space, little more than scum that he would soon be rid of for good. The only thing Jesse was interested in now was the cold hard facts. There was still a case to wrap up and Gil’s basic testimony would be the thing to help bring it to an end. The guy already admitted that he was guilty. Jesse could care less what the bastard thought of what he did. If his superiors wanted to know what Guillotine thought of his actions they could ask the stupid beast themselves, or talk to TB instead. Jesse took a deep breath to calm himself down before he moved the conversation forward. This time he started off simple by asking Guillotine questions about the other two involved. While Jesse had already heard the little shapeshifter’s side of the story he had told himself not to take it all as fact till he could hear what Gil had to say. But when he mentioned that Raffe and Akeelah were siblings Gil thought they were mental. John couldn’t help but facepalm and Jesse had to stop himself from laughing. “Oh my god it’s like talking to a five year old.” He muttered before he tried to clear things up. “Look idiot. When I say that Raffe’s her adoptive brother I mean that his parents adopted her, which on paper makes them siblings. Not biological siblings, but brother and sister by a technicality. See?” Jesse handed the document over to Guillotine to see. “A few years back Raffe’s parents adopted him and a month or so prior to this incident they adopted Akeelah too. I can explain all of that later, but for now can we please get back on the subject?”
And that they did. Eventually Guillotine gave them the full story of what happened that day, going into detail of his relationship in regards to the other two, and what pushed him and the others into shapeshifting, and finally how Elizabeth had died. Neither agent said a word as the hellhound spoke; they just took it all in. So TB had been right, what the girl said had been true. Both her story and even Gil’s seemed to fit. At least now he knew that neither of them were lying and the case would be closed now. “Wow, wow, I’ve heard enough.” Jesse cut the hound off before he could go into anymore gruesome detail of what he had done to Elizabeth. “Got anything to say TB?” Jesse turned to his partner, the brit shrugged.
“It seems pretty straightforward to me. Though it feels ironic that what caused this whole mess was this idiot making a fuss over the idea that his girlfriend was cheating, when he was sleeping behind her back. But that isn’t what we are here for is it?” TB replied. Jesse wondered for a minute what he should say but his mind was a blank. What could he say that hadn’t already been said? It was obvious that it was Guillotine who was at fault, and his testimony only confirmed it. He would have asked him for more information if he thought that there was anything that Gil could say that might point to the whole incident as not being his fault. But there wasn’t. There wasn’t a single damn thing there for him to work on. For some reason that made him feel a little sad. Maybe it was because of Akhtar. While the wizard had not immediately jumped to Gil’s defense he had asked him to at least give Gil a shot. He had held up his end of the bargain but the outcome was less than pleasant. If the agency was going to put Gil down there was nothing that Akhtar could do to help his friend. He felt bad about that but that was what he risked when he came with the agents.“I got nothing else to ask.” He admitted before turning to Akhtar. “Is there anything you’d like to ask or say?” I’m really sorry about this man…
