Guillotine made himself comfortable on Akhtar’s floor, possibly a little too comfortable. The male lied down on his side before he rolled over onto his back. The beast was rather pleased with this position, despite showing his goods off to the world. He looked like a lion, napping lazily in the Sahara. His tail slowly swayed behind him, and his ears where pulled back against his large rock hard head. He shifted a little, and began to scratch his scaly back on the floor. He was reluctant to move from this spot. Even as Akhtar spoke Guillotine kept his relaxed pose. “How are we going to do what, Akhtar?” He queered, now looking up at his boss with a single blood red eye. Ahtar’s tone confused the hound for a moment. Judging by his Alpha’s tone and posture, he was up to something. What? Gil didn’t know. Soon enough Akhtar sighed before asking Gil to turn into his human form again. What he had to say was important and he wished for Gil to be in his human form as he spoke. He said he wanted to talk face to face.
The large beast seemed to roll his single blood red eye as he shifted back onto his stomach. As Guillotine lifted humself up he released a low annoyed grumbled. He seemed to grouch like a tired old man. Once onto his paws, his body began to smolder. In a matter of second his body was engulfed in flames, soon after it dispersed leave Guillotine standing there in nothing but a pair of black snorts. Guillotine strolled over to one of the chairs that sat in front of Akhtar’s desk and sat down. “Man, I could really use a smoke right about now…” He complained before he scratched his chin. He eyed Akhtar with his single forest green eye and sighed. Gil doubted Akhtar would feed his smoking habit. So with that out the window Guillotine leaned back against his chair. “Enlighten me...” He began. The male had no idea what Akhtar was planning. The hellhound’s eye never once left his Alpha. Akhtar seemed to be deep in thought. What was this man up to?

Akhtar sighed. He looked to Gil and said, "You're probably not going to like what I am about to say, just keep an open mind okay? I think you should take a vacation. I think it will do you a great bit of good. In Zahirah we have healing springs. It is also impenetrable from non-magical beings. The only exception to that rule is mutants. Otherwise my world is completely out of sight to humans. It is almost as if you disappear off of the face of the earth. I think you should go there just to regroup and clear your mind completely. I know you probably don't want to...but it is just a suggestion...a strong suggestion. I don't want you to have to relapse. Your body needs to detox. Get rid of all the drugs and whatever else toxins may remain inside of your body. The healing springs in my country are by far the best in the entire magical world. Millions of the ill have come to heal there. They leave as if brand new. "
Akhtar looked over at Gil. He was trying to read his facial expression to see if he would take the bait. After all...Akhtar couldn't have Gil walking around the store with an eye patch on forever. Magic had a quality about itself. No one knows how the springs were started nor who formed them. Many talk of the springs and their healing properties. There are a few in Europe as well that would try to rival those of Zahirah but it is known those are the best ever. Many have laid claim to the springs and become extremely rich off of them by passing the ownership rights down through the generations. Akhtar couldn't believe people would be so greedy. They created resorts akin to those created by non-magical beings who operate "hot spring resorts." Akhtar had visited them but never had he sat in the warm soothing waters. The waters have been reported to be hotter than volcanic lava but to the human skin it is simply a warm tingling sensation. Perhaps it is the magic housed within the water?

“I-I can’t.” A hint of resentment was hidden within those words of his. Gil’s single emerald eye looked to the floor below him as he lowered his head like a guilty child. A vacation at a luxurious hot spring would be the prefect get away for the young hellhound. If there was anything Gil loved more than sunbathing it would be hot water. As much as Gil was tempted to take Akhtar’s offer, he refused it. “I can’t just leave, knowing Akeelah is out there on the streets.” Guillotine was beginning to feel guilty. Here he was in a nice warm home while Akeelah was out there rummaging around in trashcans, and sleeping in the cold dark alleys. For all he knew, she was back to her old pickpocketing ways again. Little did he know Akeelah had found a home to go too, at the time Gil was oblivious to this. Perhaps he could venture out tomorrow and look for his ex. It would be hard for the egotistical male to apologies for what he had done to her. After thinking this over Gil’s mind moved onto a different topic. His concern for Akeelah could only last for so long though. Soon enough the male’s more selfish side began to slip out from the cracks of his soul.
“Besides, who would watch my territory while I was gone?” Guillotine lifted his head and looked Akhtar in the eye. There was a hint of hostility in his voice. No one knew his territory like he did. So no one could properly defend it. “I appreciate the kind jester but I’m going to have to say no. I don’t need a vacation anyway, not after what I’ve done… I don’t deserve it.” Guillotine rose from his chair and stretched. He really didn’t want to talk about this. Akhtar had been right to assume that Gil didn’t like what he heard. “I will be fine. I don’t need a detox-or whatever the hell you said.” Guillotine stuck his hands into his pockets and began to fish around. This was a bad habit of his, he was looking for cigarettes. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any.
Guillotine grumbled and turned back to his Alpha. “Do you have any smokes on you?” Gil asked, knowing that the answer would probably be ‘no’. The male bit his lip. Before Akhtar could answer Gil spoke again. “Can you summon a pack of cigarettes or something?” At the time his body was yearning for nicotine. If he didn’t get a hit of some soon Akhtar would have a cranky hellhound on his hands.

Akhtar looked at Gil as if he were crazy. He said, "Do you honestly think I would conjure you some cigs? You know I don't partake of smoking...not even of hookah which is deemed noble. Back to the matter at hand though...Your territory would be more than protected I'm sure. As far as Akeelah goes...are you sure she would want to see you either way? I mean it is good that you are worried about her but are you sure the feeling is mutual? I mean honestly Gil I am normally always for you tapping into your emotions and trying to look for others but right now...I think you need to focus on you. Yes she may be what you consider your life mate but I am sorry I am more worried about your well being. She seems to be able to manage by herself all of this time."
Akhtar sighed. He didn't want to sound like a nagging parent who really didn't want his teenage son and his son's teenage girlfriend to have a child they are debating on keeping. Call it one of his flaws if you will but Akhtar tended to look at the entire picture instead of just one small portion of it. Akhtar wanted Gil to be completely healed before he went back into his normal ways. Let's be honest, it had only been three days since Gil agreed to return to the world with Akhtar.
Akhtar wanted nothing but what was best for Gil. He had seen Gil grow yet self destruct at the same time. Akhtar honestly felt Gil needed some much needed alone time faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from New Orlands and Zahirah would be the perfect get away. How else could he truly have a clear and free mind when his thoughts constantly fought to try and control his emotions.
Akhtar looked to Gil and continued, " Honestly...how much good would you be for her when you aren't being as good to yourself as you should be. Gil you HAVE to make sure you are one hundred percent. I am not trying to nag or be on your back but just try it for two days?"

The look on Akhtar’s face was priceless. Was his boss really this surprised? It was difficult for the young hound to hold back a snicker. The male’s lips contorted into a playful grin as a few chuckles escaped his mouth. “Are you really surprised that I asked?” Guillotine combated with a humorous reply. Soon enough the male realized Akhtar was serious. The hellhound’s smile soon sunk into a frown, and he rolled his forest green eye. “AW Come on, just one won’t hurt!” Akhtar then said that he, himself didn’t smoke. Not even the good stuff. As long as Akhtar was around Smokes where prohibited. Guillotine grumble like an angry child. Well, smokes where out of the question then. The man leaned back in his chair and slouched like a pouty child. No matter, he could find another way to get smokes. Perhaps after this grueling lecture he could sneak out and steal a pack from the neighbor or something. With cigarettes on his mind the male almost lost his train of thought.
Guillotine’s single forest green eye looked forward as Akhtar continued to speak. His boss reassured Gil that his territory would be fine if he where to leave. He then went on to say that Akeelah would be fine, and that he was proud of the hound for thinking of others but for the time being he should concerned with his own health and well-being. Guillotine looked away from his Alpha. The man did have a point, Akeelah was more than capable of taking care of herself. She had been doing so long before he ever met her right? But still, worry managed to worm its way into Guillotine’s skull. What if something where to happen while he was away? What if the P.I.D.A found her? The hellhound shook the thoughts from his head. No, he couldn’t think of that now. Perhaps his alpha was right, he did need a small vacation.
Man, Akh really wanted him to go on this vacation anyway. Guillotine mulled through his choices. It seemed that Akhtar would continue to bug him until he gave in; He really didn’t have a choice in this matter. Akhtar continued to speak, telling Gil to try the vacation for a day or two. He tried to convince the hound with his fatherly charm. Unfortunately, Gil couldn’t take much more of this lecture. Guillotine admitted defeat. “Fine FINE! I’ll go.” The male replied as he looked his boss in the eye. “-but you have to come with me.”

Akhtar looked at Gil and smiled. He knew the hellhound would see things his way. It was rather hard not to. Akhtar smiled to Gil and said, "Gil of course I would be coming I am the prince of the region. I jump at every chance to return home. I'm sure once we arrive you will be in no rush to leave. So what I need you to do is prepare yourself so we can take leave. Go tie up whatever loose ends you may have around here and get ready so we can go. I will notify the palace so they can anticipate our arrival." Akhtar knew that two days wouldn't be nearly enough time for Gil in his native homeland. What was best in it for Gil? There was no other known hellhound, at least to Akhtar's knowledge within Zahirah. They were not welcomed to say the least yet Akhtar wasn't worried in the least bit about his parents reaction to Gil. He was no threat to them or the kingdom so it shouldn't matter much.
Akhtar of course had very little to do to prepare for the trip. While he would normally pack and go through the motions, as one would call it, he opted not to this time around. He had plenty of his belongings within the palace so it was pointless for him to try and pack. Akhtar was genuinely excited that he would be returning home. It hadn't been that long since Akhtar had recently returned to his homeland. Akhtar stood from his desk and said, "Well what are you waiting for? Go...oh and leave the smokes here...No point in even trying to sneak any in. If you're going to smoke get it in before we leave. "
Akhtar walked from behind his desk and headed towards the door as if he were going to walk through it and simply vanished into thin air. He did that as to not give Gil time to argue with him about the no smoking rule he was imposing upin him. Magical beings or not...The smokes were unneeded and damaging to the body...

Guillotine cocked his head to the side when Akhtar mentioned that he was the prince of the region they were going to visit. Gil knew the man held a lot of power, however he had no idea his Alpha was also the Alpha of a faraway secret location. Knowing this got the hellhound excited. He was the right hand man to a powerful prince! Who needs a pack of hellhound when you have a prince and his followers by your side? A large grin creased Guillotine’s lips. Perhaps this little trip wouldn’t be so bad after all. He knew Akhtar would make sure he had the best of the best. The man had money to do it. So why not take the man up on his offer? What did he have to lose? Guillotine began to whip up some strange fantasies on what the place might look like. The male hadn’t been anywhere outside of the city, much less the country. This would be his first trip out of the U.S.
The hellhound stood there with large toothy grin on his face. He was quick to forget about Akeelah as his selfish nature began to take control. Soon enough Akhtar spoke again. He told the young hound he needed to prepare himself for their departure. This meant tired up loose ends as he mentioned. Guillotine rolled his eyes. There wasn’t much to ‘tie up’ in this short amount of time. All he could really do now was pack his things. Gil was happy that Akhtar would be coming with him, however he couldn’t help but to frown once the man mentioned that there would be no smoking on this trip. A frown soon replaced the hellhound’s quirky smile. “You gotta be kidding me-“ Gil was interrupted by Akhtar showing him out. The human was set in his ways. There was no getting around it. Gil could pack a few smokes, but the consequences for being caught could be server. Akhtar would never harm Gil, but the hellhound couldn’t help but to imagine that his boss would turn him into a frog or something for being bad. Well, there goes the idea of bringing smokes along with him. Guillotine released a low sigh as his boss vanished.
Guillotine made his way out into the hall before trekking up to his room. After rummaging through his dresser he finally came across a spare pack of cigarettes. The man slipped them into his pocket and headed out of the room and down the hall again. Once he made his way outside the man lit a cancer stick and stood out in the cool night air. After a few puffs, Gil began to make his way around the home. He enjoyed taking a quick stroll around his new home. The estate itself was a large some of land, Gil of course considered it apart of his territory.
As Gil walked began to think of the palace Akhtar was talking about. Suppose he would have to meet his boss’s dad? Gil had seen the man one other time, and even then he seemed rather intimidating. Guillotine swallowed hard. He then took another long hard puff of his cigarette. Guillotine had no intention of clearing things up before he left. There wasn’t much he could do after all. It wasn’t like he could mend the relationship with his mate, hell he had no idea where Akeelah was. He could only hope she was in a safe place. Guillotine trotted back to the front door after his little patrol. After walking inside he looked around. Ah, where to start?
(( Did you want to make a thread where they are at the palace? I think that would be fun :3))
