Garm was a big enough man to admit his faults at times. In the time that this young hellhound lived he learned that what made a man a real man was acknowledging their weakness when necessary so they could improve on them. But there were still times that he didn't want to admit about certain flaws. This was one of those times. It was easy to admit that he had trouble dealing with people to Rune. It was hard for the cat shifter to not notice the horrified looks Garm was given if they ever went out to any public place. Whether Garm liked it or not he would have to admit that he had a problem with people. But admitting he was shy on top of that. That was something he couldn't do. It was unbecoming of a hound as fearsome as he was to be shy with anyone. A hellhound was suppose to fear no one, not even the opposite sex. But the thought of seducing a woman was so far out of his comfort zone he couldn't stop himself from blushing. He wasn't normally shy with woman. He could talk to them just like he could with any man (which was barely). He could fight them if push came to shove. But...how the hell was he suppose to woo them?
His obvious discomfort was very entertaining to Rune. The cat was already teasing him for trying to hide his shame behind his scarf, which only made the hound want to hide even more. He wanted to tell Rune that he didn't think it was a good idea for him to just start sleeping around like that but he couldn't find the words to say it. His struggle was cut short when the shifter accused him of being shy (which he totally was and we all know it). “I-I am not shy.” he tried to protest but he knew deep down he was losing the battle there. Still he held on firm. “I-I just....I don't know. Women are tricky creatures. They aren't as simple as you make them out to be.” Garm had only known a handful of women in his life. Beyond his mother, he had already dealt with female cat shifter, an angel, and another hellhound. Each one of them were drastically different and complicated in their own way. Even the only one out of them that had flirted with him didn't do so out of simple attraction. At least that was what he thought. It never once occurred to him that he should try his luck with any of them. He wasn't sure he could do so without messing things up.
While Garm was trying to regain some of his composure Rune had taken on his animal form and staggered up towards him. Garm gently stroked the feline's head as the cat pawed at his scarf. He knew what Rune was trying to do so he couldn't help but smile. “They aren't here.” he told Rune. The second that they had come home the devas had wandered off to eat and play around while the two beasts went to drink. “I am sure they are around here somewhere though.” As if on queue Garm a flash of greyish brown fur caught the hound's attention. The Dark Deva Kali quickly sneaked up behind the drunken cat. Out of all the Devas, Kali loved to play around with Rune. She was usually the one to initiate play time when Rune didn't. In her unique fashion the little devil crept up to the cat's tail and bit it to grab his attention before dashing off. The hound laughed as he watched her scamper off. “Looks like one of them found you instead. Good luck.” This game was going to be a lot more one sided than it normally was. Rune could barely walk even on all fours in his current state but at least he would still have fun playing around with them once he could actually keep up.
