The forest at night was always a lovely place. Even though he could go out in the daylight, he always had to be much more careful. Considering that if he stayed out too long he'd end up getting burned anyway. Course the real reason he was out tonight was due to Emera's constant begging. After explaining to Celeste why he was going out the two had left the large property. A excited squel left Emera as she flew past her Master, a large smile on her face as she flew around. Her bat wings allowing for her flight to be possible.
"Freedom!!!" Emera yelled happily. "WE should do this mroe often."
"Becareful Emera there are still owls out that can get ya." Wilson responded with a smile.
"I can teach any old owl a lesson, let me at em and they'll regret thinking I'm a mouse!"
Diving down toward the ground, she pulled up in time so she was just above the grass. She really did like being outside where no one else was around. She could fly and have fun. True the house was large but she always had the other servants about and that wasn't fun. She actually had to be careful on where she was going. Course she really should still be careful out here, for she rammed into something and a surprised sound left her. It wasn't a tree that was for sure.
"Hey, what are you doing just standing here in the way? Don'tcha know there are creatures flying?" Emera demanded out of the being she rammed into.
Wilson had been following at a slower pace but he could hear her yelling very easily. Quicking his pace to almost that of a jog he soon came to find Emera and who or whatever she was yelling at.
"Emera, you really should apologize instead of yell." Wilson muttered to himself.

It was a perfect night for a hunt. A large white wolf could just barely be seen roaming through the thick brush in the darkness of the night. Despite his light fur colouring Kiba was a decent hunter. He could keep himself well hidden when he wanted to so he could sneak up on his prey before they could catch onto him. There wasn't any prey for him to sneak up on at the moment but he was on the trail of some right now. The wolf had been tracking down a local herd of deer since late afternoon and now his search was paying off. His tracking always paid off in the end. If there was one thing that he could brag about it was his tracking skills. He had always been the best at tracking, even when he was nothing more than an inexperienced pup learning how to hunt for the first time. His nose and eyes had always been sharp enough to tell where his prey was going and how close he was to getting them. Right now he was getting close, he could smell it. The deer he was looking for had been down this way earlier, and now that it was night time they were likely settling down for the night. If he kept going the direction he was heading now it wouldn't take long for him to reach them. Then he could feast.
The male was quite pleased with that idea. Kiba was not nearly as starved as he had been back in the city when he first arrived, but he was pretty hungry today. He could use a good meal, and deer meat was very filling. It was nice being able to track down prey, chase it, then kill it too. It was a lot of work of course but that was what he was born for. Kiba continued to move in silence, his nose, eyes, and ears, all focused out for the game he was looking for when something strange happened. A sudden shout echoed out through the woods, causing the wolf, and all the other creatures nearby to jump. The male didn't even get a chance to grumble about stupid humans and how loud they were when the person responsibly for all the commotion flew into him. The male stood there looking at the fallen creature in surprise till the thing spoke to him. Blue eyes glared down at the strange small creature as a low growl passed his lips.
“I wouldn't yell at creatures much bigger than you. They might just squish you like the annoying little bug you are.” the wolf warned the annoying winged creature. “If there is anyone that should be mad here its me. Your stupid racket just ruined my hunt.” If his assumption was right the herd he had been tracking down for a few hours now would have been within earshot of this things hollering. If that was the case they would have ran off, and if that had happened all of his efforts had been pointless. All thanks to this little thing. Kiba was no pleased, not one bit. He might have to go hungry for the rest of the night and there was nothing that he could do about it. At most he could chomp down on the thing squawking at him but that was pretty pointless. The little bugger was too small to fill his stomach, and likely would cause him a belly ache. With one last growl Kiba turned to leave the stupid thing when another shout caught his attention. The male turned to look in the direction of the shout and instantly fell on edge. The male's hackles rose as he turned to bear his fangs at the human that ran towards him. What was a human doing here so late at night and on his turf no less? Kiba had come to this forest in the hopes of avoiding their kind for good, sadly that looked like it would not happen.

"I ain't a bug you overgrown fleabag!!" Emera hissed. "And you just ruined my flight! I was having a perfectly grand time until your big rear end here blocked my path!! I ain't scared of you buddy, I've seen far worse and let me tell you..."
"EMERA!" Wilson snapped at her. "Just leave the wolf alone."
Emera hated being cut off like that. Even if Wilson was her master, she hated it. Pink eyes narrowed as she flew back over to Wilson. Arms folded and a unpleased look on her face. Bat wings didn't have to flap too hard to prople her toward the strange vampire and then come to a halt right before him.
"And why should I?! He was the morom just standing there in the way!" Emera questioned, a sigh left Wilson as he tried to relax.
"One, you were flying really low so really it's not the wolf's fault that you ran into him, it's really your's." Wilson started, Emera was about to object when Wilson gave her that look and she silenced herself. "Two, he was doing something as he clearly stated to you so there was no reason for him to pay attention to a six inch flying Hommonculus that he's probably not even heard of."
Emera still wasn't happy but she kept her mouth shut. That is until she heard the snarling that came with the fangs being beared by the wolf. Turning round but staying where she was at and thus out of the wolf's reach, she glared at him.
"WHO ARE YOU SNARLING AT FUR BALL?!!" Emera snapped, though Wilson soon closed his hands around her to muffle her and lowered his held together hands.
"Sorry about Emera, she's rather easy to set off and I think she's been cooped up too long in the house." Wilson explained, talking in his normal voice. "I'm not going to do anything to you, I just thought it was bst to get Emera out of the house and for me to as well."
