Could this night possibly get any worse!? Guillotine had been thankful the sun rose when it had. The male didn’t think he could stall the worried werewolf any longer. It’s warming rays had changed the wolfish Peter back into a human. The hellhound had watched in horror as Peter fainted onto the cold, hard ground. Standing up, Guillotine limped over to Peter and began to examine him. The night had been just as rough on Peter as it had been for Guillotine it seemed. Thankfully, the human still had some pieces of tattered clothing clinging to his frame. Okay, Peter was back to normal. Now what? Guillotine looked down at Peter with disgust as he thought this over. It wasn’t the boys appearance that caused Gil to feel such an intense emotion of anger. It had been the sole fact that Peter had not told Gil of his sickness before hand. Not only had the human f*cked up their mission, but could have possibly hurt someone as well. If someone were to fall by the hands of the werewolf Gil was sure he would also be to blame. The PIDA could very well put him down if that was to happen. Just the thought of being killed just because of this rookie’s mistake made the hound furious! “I’m not letting you drag me down with you.” Guillotine growled, contempt could be hurt in his raspy voice. He knew Peter couldn’t hear him. However, the hellhound just couldn’t help himself. Guillotine wasn’t too happy, not in the least. He’d begin to get a bit irritated now that his medicine was wearing off. Gil was lucky it had lasted this long.
With his anger building the hellhound continued to glare down at the smaller boy. He was contemplating whether to leave Peter here or not. The birds could pick at his unconscious body for all he cared! Guillotine slowly turned around. He’d began to walk away. The hellhound didn’t get very far though. It seemed that even though his medicine was wearing off, he still have some humaine consciousness left. "D-Damn it..." With a loud sigh the hellhound trotted back over to Peter. Now, Guillotine had to go about moving him. Despite the pain in his knee Guillotine managed to get the unconscious boy onto his back. It hadn’t been an easy feat. Guillotine spent ten whole minutes on this simple project. Using the wall he managed to make it happen. Man, he must have looked ridiculous. There he was, with a half naked man on his back.
“T-This is the only f*cking time I am ever giving you a piggy-back ride!” Guillotine grumbled as he attempted to stand with Peter on his back. With his arms occupied by the boy’s body, the hound had to use his sheer will power just to stand. Using the wall as leverage he managed to get to his feet. A burst of pain shot through his knee. Gunting, Gil winced in pain. He couldn’t stop now. Cursing up a storm the hound finally took a step forward. Man, getting this little sh*t home was going to be harder than he had originally planned. Gil didn’t count on pulling out his knee while chasing Peter, or else this whole thing would have been a whole lot easier. Grunting in pain the hellhound took another step forward. There was only one place he could take Peter during these early morning hours. He’d have to take him to his own home.
It took about an hour and a half for Guillotine to finally reach Jesse’s residence. Sweat appeared to pour off the hound in bucket loads. The beast was panting so hard that he had began to wheeze. Being out of shape and having a bum knee took a lot out of the young hellhound. There had been a glimpse of happiness in his eyes when he spotted the house. Gil wasn’t too sure what time it was, but he hoped Jesse was up. Oh, Gil hoped he wouldn't rag on him too badly about carrying an unconscious body on his back. Limping up to the door Gil began to yell, “Jesse! J-Jesse, open the f*cking door!” He really hoped Jesse wouldn't take his sweet ass time getting to the door. The hellhound leaned against the wall for a moment, in an attempt to catch his breath.
