Owen paced about, his strong nose twitched to the smells of the chemicals here. He was a scientist and yet.....he was stuck in the body of a wolf-dog that his father made him work on. Now whoever the dog was, was gone. Replaced by his own mind, a human mind. Though there were the animal instincts still, they were stronger since this body was a wolf-dog and Owen was once human. A slight growl of frustration left him as he put his paws on the table and stood up on his hind legs, trying to read the clip board that one of the other scientists had left there. Honestly!! People knew he was part of the scientist staff! They should put things to where he could reach!!
At least he could read and talk to others still, if he couldn't do that then he would be really lost. The only reason he got this job was due to talking to a PIDA agent. It wasn't like he could go out in the city and get a new job. A dogcatcher would try to catch him and then he'd probably rot in a animal shelter. The only time he could go into the city was when he went out on a mission with one of the other agents. Course...that was rare. Getting down on all fours, his ears perked to the sound of the door opening and he turned his reddish brown gaze to the person who entered.

Ah, it was good to be back in the good old PIDA. It had been awhile since Nick had stepped into headquarters. It was no fault of his own of course, he had been busy. Like his group of agent friends that he worked with the young man had a second job. That job was uploading skits and gaming videos on youtube but it was a lot more work than most people thought it was. Especially when it came to juggling that with his agent career. On the internet Spoon was well known, it would be a little too obvious that something was going on in his life if he missed a week of uploading. His life as a PIDA agent had to be kept a secret, so he took time off to make sure he could catch up on his recording just so he could upload on the days he was working here. Normally he took every other week off, but this time he had to take extra time off for a gaming convention. It was something that he couldn't afford to miss, after all it was work related. Not to mention fun too. The man quite enjoyed his time at the convention, but a part of him still missed this place. He couldn't wait till everything was over and he could get back to work.
Now he was finally back where he belonged, at the agency! Spoon strolled on down the hallway, whistling a merry tune and waving at his fellow co-workers as he walked past. Sadly no one really waved back. Most of the other agents he met just gave him weird looks and rushed past him. What was wrong with people these days? Was everyone too busy to at least be friendly? Or was something wrong with him? Wait...was something on his face or something that was scaring them off? Spoon felt around his horse mask but didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. Nope, it couldn't be him at all. People were just jerks! That was it! Well his friends weren't jerks. Surely his fellow agent friends would be more than happy to see him. He had to pay them a visit, that was what he had planned to do from the start of course. The gamer group were a pretty close group of agents that did pretty much everything together. They ate together, researched together, and did missions together. There was probably a mission or two that the gang already grabbed that he could work on. Boy he hoped he got something good that he could either work on with Nova or Cry.
First he had to find them. Now where could the others be. Most likely they were chilling in the kitchens. The kitchens were the go to meet up place for the group so he was sure they were there. Now where did he go to get there? Spoon wandered around the halls, feeling a little bit lost as he looked around. Okay, it had been a bit of time since he had last been to the agency and his memory of the place wasn't that great. But he had a feeling that he was pretty sure he knew where he was going. Yes he did! He was heading in the right direction, all he had to do now was turn left and... “Aha! Found it!” the man squealed like an excited school girl. Now was time to make a grand entrance and party with his home boys. “HELLO MY BITCHES!” the man screamed as he swung the door wide open and jumped into the room with his arms raised. “Wait a minute....” this...this wasn't the kitchens at all? Damn it! He was in the god damn lab! The man sulked beneath his mask when suddenly he noticed he wasn't alone.
The man's gaze fell on something he didn't expect to see in a place like this. Standing there before him was one of the biggest but most adorable dog he had ever seen. For a moment Spoon stood there staring at the strange beast. A dog? A dog? When were pets allowed at the PIDA? “PUPPY!!!” the man ran over to the big dog and pulled it into a great big hug. “Oh my god you are so cute~” he squealed and pet him. “What are you doing over here by yourself you cute little guy? Are you looking for your master?” Spoon looked the big beast over carefully. Odd he didn't see a collar on the dog. Was he possibly a stray? It would be rather odd that a stray dog found its way into a secret building and sneaked its way into the labs. But Spoon didn't really think too much of it. “Or maybe you don't have a master.” the man mused. “Hey I know! You can come with me and be my pet doggy! You can live me, Fork, and Sparkles! Wouldn't that be great!” Yes this was turning out to be a pretty awesome day already. Though he had gotten himself lost like a derp Spoon had managed to find himself a new pet! Things couldn't get anymore awesome than this.

Owen's left ear slanted while the right one remained standing upright, his right eyebrow was raised at the way the man entered. Um....okay? Owen wasn't sure on what to make about this guy. Though things just got....worse. His ears lowered and his reddish brown gaze widened as the Agent came toward him and pretty much hugged him!!
WHAT IN HECK?!!! Owen exclaimed in his head as he sat there.
As the agent went on, Owen's ears went back to their normal position as a unhappy look came to his face. Not like this guy noticed that though due to how excited they had become by the fact he just found a....'puppy'. Reaching up with a large paw, Owen put it against Spoon's chest and tried to push himself a bit away.
"Sir.....please get a hold of yourself." Owen started in a neutral voice. "Just take a few moments to calm down."

Man Spoon was having an awesome first day back at the PIDA today. There was a lot of exciting things that the young man could think of that would happen when he came back to the agency but none of them involved dogs. Well, there was Guillotine. Spoon had heard that big old Gil was finally well enough to start working, and was even teaming up with Totalbiscuit on some kind of kick ass assignment. But Gil wasn't really much of a cute cuddly doggy like this one was. For starters he was a hellhound, he was more like a big scary scaly beast than a dog. He wasn't too friendly either from what the others had said. Hell Spoon wasn't even allowed to go anywhere near him. Totalbiscuit had forbid him or his buddy Nova from going anywhere near the hellhound, the man said that it was for their own protection and for the shapeshifter girl living with them. Any chance of him getting to spend time with a doggy that wasn't Nova's pet corgie had been dashed.
But today that changed. Spoon met a new dog all on his own and boy was he happy about it. God this was so cool! He couldn't wait to take this big guy home with him and show him off. Hopefully this dog would get along well with his pet horse and kitty. He wasn't sure how his miniature horse and the dog would get along but he was sure that his kitty sparkles wouldn't have too much trouble with the doggy. If Nova's pet cat and dog could get along surely his could as well. Though there was Akeelah to put into consideration. Though the shapeshifter had been in a relationship with a hellhound she didn't seem too happy around dogs. It had taken her a bit to get used to Nova's dog, but eventually she could tolerate its presence. If she could do that she could deal with another dog in the family right? Well there was only one way to find out, he'd have to take this guy home with him.
Before Spoon could think of trying to get some kind of collar and leash for his new little friend the strangest thing happened. The dog put his paw on the man's chest and began to speak. Oh my god, he just found a talking dog chilling out in the lab. This was so fucking sweet! “Awesome you can talk!” sadly for the dog his words only ended up getting Spoon more excited. “Wait till I show Nova you, he's going to be so jealous that I have a talking dog and he doesn't.” the man laughed just picturing the look on Nova's face when he brought his new doggy friend over. “So since you can talk, I guess that means I don't need to think up a name for you huh? Or do you not have a name?” the man asked, if the dog didn't have a name of his own he could easily come up with a name on his own. Naming was pretty easy, normally he picked the first thing that he saw, that was how he came up with his nickname. “Why are you here anyways doggy? You don't happen to work here do you?” Now that he thought about it, there was no way that a talking dog wouldn't actually be an employee here. The PIDA didn't just hire humans, but they hired all sorts of beings here. This was one of the few places that a supernatural could work without fearing of hiding what they were to their coworkers. It would make a lot of sense why he found this dog here in the lab. Maybe he was a doggy scientist? Man that would be cool.

Okay....that didn't work. Owen thought in his head as the man went on.
"Yes, I have a name. I'm Owen Sherlock, I work here." Owen replied. "Mainly as a scientist but I've been allowed to go on some field missions if htey aren't too dangerous."
Might as well explain that part now since he asked if he worked here. Why else would he be here if he didn't work here? Well....there were reasons for that but ones he didn't know. Ears twitched as he sat there, should he....really explain how he got in this situation? Sure the agent before him could read files and learn that but...should he know? That he was pretty much a human trapped in a wolf-dog's body?
"Why else would I be here if I didn't work here in some way?" Owen asked.

So the dog did have a name of its own. “Owen Sherlock huh...” Spoon thought it over for a second. It wasn't the cutest name in the world, nor did it really feel like it suited the dog but it was something he guessed. “Sherlock sounds cooler than Owen...I should call you Sherlock!” the man said excitedly. “No...wait...I can't do that. Dodger has a pet cat that she calls Sherlock. We can't have two Sherlocks now can we.” That only left him with the name Owen but Spoon didn't feel like calling him that either. It just didn't really fit this dog. At least Sherlock sounded kinda cool. It was after all the name of a famous fictional detective. It was a smart name that would fit for a scientist dog. Owen however was less cool sounding. Sure it did sound kind of brainy but it was so...Oweny. “Hmmm....” the man racked his brain for a bit there had to be a better name he could come up with. A nickname at least would do. That way the dog could still keep his identity while Spoon could still give him a cutesy name. Suddenly an idea popped into his head.
“I know...why don't I call you Owwy?” the man said. Yes that was perfect! Owwy sounded much cuter than Owen. It was decided, whether Owen the dog agreed to it or not Spoon would refer to him now on as Owwy. Now that the name issue was out of the way Spoon turned his focus on something else. That something else being what the hell a talking dog was doing in the PIDA. It was becoming increasingly obvious to him that Owwy actually worked here. It wouldn't surprise him at all to hear it from Owwy himself. After all the PIDA took in all sorts of people, normal humans, abnormal humans, and all sorts of supernatural people here and gave them jobs. Hell, they even took Spoon in. That was saying something. It was amazing that the PIDA could find any use for psychopaths that had little control over their powers like him and Nova, but the agency took them in with open arms so surely they did the same with Owwy.
Sure enough Owwy told him that he was an employee here. And not just any kind of employee either, this cute little doggy was a scientist. “Sweet~” the man said. “You are a scientist Owwy man you must be super smart.” Spoon petted the dog. “Congrats, you must be really excited to work here huh? I know I am! I am not smart enough to be a scientist. I don't think I could be one if I was smart enough anyway. All it will take is one moment of my powers getting the best of me and then I will accidentally blow up the building.” the man shrugged, it kind of sucked that sometimes his powers caused him to confuse himself but there wasn't much he could do about it. “So I work as a field agent instead. At least that is fun...so long as I don't have to do stupid paperwork.” Spoon stood up to stretch and look around the room.
“So Mr. Owwy, what were you planning to work on today? Maybe I can help you out! There are probably some stuff that you can't handle on your own since you have paws and all. I can totally lend a hand or two. And when we are done you can come down to the kitchens with me and I can make you a nice and juicy t-bone steak! And then you can meet all my friends, and I can show you off to Nova...” the man began to trail off suddenly. Without even realizing it the man's power had gone off, causing him to lose track of what he was saying. Spoon sadly wouldn't be the only one affected by it. Owen too would feel a strange fogginess in his mind like Spoon was feeling.

A unhappy expression took over his face at the suggestion of the nickname. Good death that was awful. It sounded like something a child would say when they were hurt. Owwy. Seriously.....why couldn't this guy just call him by his first name?
"I prefer to be called by my first name or my last name." Owen replied. "No, I'm not super smart but I have good enough intelligence for it."
Even as a human he was super smart, just well educated and forced into the field by his father. Just a good amount of intelligence was what he had. Nothing more. At least his human mind and intellect made it into this body. A darker eyebrow was raised when the Agent mentioned if his powers took over for a moment, he could blow the building up. Okay that.....that was bad. Owen knew there were begins that weren't human here, each unique with powers beyond imagining.
"I was just checking on things, making sure no one was being lazy and leaving things on here and stuff." Owen replied. "Please just...call me Owen or Sherlock."
Owen was getting a headache, mainly due to him trying not to snap at this guy. But said headache was getting worse now that the Agent's power was in effect; unknown to Owen. A sigh left him as his ears slanted. Could he even take aspirin? Or would that kill him considering his body was that of a wolf-dog and not a human? Good lord this was awful!!!

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Only a short while after making a little joke about his powers did said powers decide to manifest itself. It was something that at the time went completely amiss with the one that wielded them. Though that wasn't too surprising. It was hard to know when his psychopathic powers would manifest. It was worse back in the days that he didn't know that he had powers. The power to confuse others as well as yourself wasn't something that was plainly obvious. For years growing up Spoon had thought that what he had was just ADD. But thanks to Nova who had the same problem he did he eventually found out the truth. It helped him to at least know when he ended up using his powers after the fact. Sadly knowing about what he was didn't give him any control over when it activated. He still had a long way to go before he could ever stop doing things like this.
It took awhile for Spoon to snap out of his daze. The man shook his head to rid himself of the fogginess that plagued his brain. “Huh? What happened?” the man looked around the room feeling confused as he tried to recall just what the hell he was doing. What had he been doing and why was he here? "God damn it, did I use my powers again? Damn it!” god he hated when he did that to himself. It was a least a little funny to see how his powers effected others but it wasn't cool when it happened to him. Suddenly he noticed that he had company. The man looked down at the dog for a moment. Wait...a dog? There was a dog in the PIDA? “PUPPY!” the man exclaimed and hugged the dog again. “Wait a second...” Spoon let go of the dog for a moment to look him over. “You...look familiar doggy.” Did he meet this dog before?
Oh right, he did! Spoon remembered coming in this place now and meeting him. “You are Owwy aren't you! Nice to meet you Owwy, my name is Spoon! You work here right?....your a...oh right you said you were a scientist didn't you? That's pretty cool. You should have a lot of fun working in the labs here they have everything you could possibly want and more! Hey, would you like to come to the kitchens with me and meet my friends? I...kinda forgot where the kitchens were and need someone to help me get there.”

The fogginess as well as headache grew in Owen's head, good lord he needed a aspirin!!!! A Advil! A Motrin.....ANYTHING!!!! Rising to his paws, he went over to one of the desks and bumped his head into it. A pathetic attempt to get the headache to go away by just replacing it with a different pain. Though it soon started to slowly fade before he could lightly hit his head against it again. So he turned round and looked at Spoon as the agent asked what happened. However as he took a few steps closer the man exclaimed.....PUPPY!! Again....and hugged him!!!!....AGAIN!!!
A very unpleased expression was on the wolf-dog's face and really, he didn't notice much of what the man said until that stupid nickname came out of the man's mouth. Owwy. Seriously?! Did this man have short term memory lose? There was a medicine for that right? If there was, the scientist wolf-dog would have to find some and give it to the agent in order to help with that.
"Yes I work here, I am a Scientist. And please...PLEASE!!! Call me Owen OR Sherlock." Owen repeated, a slight sigh left him as the man said he got lost a second time. "Okay come on. Let's go to the kitchen."
His friends better be there so I can be free of him. Owen thought in his head as he started out of the lab.

Spoon failed to notice Owen's expression when he had rushed over to hug him and call him by his pet name. A lot always seemed to get past Spoon, the man rarely ever noticed the strange looks he got when he did something rather stupid or crazy. Even when it did the young man didn't ever seem to care. For him he couldn't give a damn what people thought of him. If they loved him they loved him, if the didn't then they didn't. The only people that mattered were the people that were close to him. Those that knew him grew attached to him, and him to them. Of course the latter came very easily to him. Spoon loved people even if said people didn't love him. He could always turn their opinions around if he did enough clinging, and boy did he ever cling to those that he took a liking to. Poor Owen was bound for a lot of clinging himself. Spoon loved animals almost as much as he loved people, maybe even more since he instantly ran up to play with animals the moment he saw them but didn't always do the same with people. Animals were much more accepting of him than people were so he got along better with them.
“Yeah yeah, I remember you said you were a scientist.” the man said, conveniently missing the whole 'please stop calling me Owwy' part of the conversation. Spoon's memory was slowly coming back to him now that he was no longer under the effects of his own powers. “Sorry my powers decided to act up and made me forget a little bit. I hope they didn't hit you too. It does that sometimes. Being a psychopath can be a real pain in the butthole sometimes.” the man giggled. Psychopath. That was one of the funniest word to label his kind. Who came up with the idea to name his kind psychopaths anyway? It wasn't like all psychopaths were crazy, all they did was confuse people, how crazy was that? Speaking of psychopaths he wondered if Nova was around. If he was he was probably in the kitchens.
Oh right that's it! Spoon had come here in the first place cause he was trying to find the kitchens to meet his friends. How could he forget about them? Spoon brought that up with his new pal Owwy. The man couldn't really trust himself to find his way back to the kitchens at this rate. If he wandered all the way over here then he likely couldn't stop himself from getting lost. Maybe Owwy could help? Sure enough Owwy was more than happy to help lead him to his destination. “Yay! Let's go!” the man squealed and headed towards the door. Spoon would hold the door open so his buddy could walk past without worry before he fell in step next to him. “Heh, I can't believe I thought this was the way to the kitchens before. It's a good thing you are here with me Owwy, I would probably be lost without you.”

A eyebrow was raised as the Agent mentioned his powers going off and that he hoped they hadn't effected him. Though the word that he used had the wolf-dog thinking about a mental disorder than a race. He didn't know about all of the supernatural races so that was why he didn't know about Spoon's race.
"No I don't think they effected me." Owen answered as they walked as he glanced over to the Agent.
Though he turned his gaze away at being called Owwy. Honestly! This guy didn't care what eh wanted to be called really. Ears slanted as he let a low growl out. Good lord he couldn't wait to just drop this guy off at the kitchen so he could be with his friends. Eventually they arrived at the kitchen. Reaching a paw, he pushed with a paw but it didn't budge really. So he ended up putting his shoulder against it to push the door open and walked in.
"Okay, is anyone in here the friends you were looking for?" Owen asked as he glanced at the Agent next to him.

“Good, good, I'm glad to hear it.” Spoon said when Owwy reassured him that his temporary loss of control hadn't reached him. “Sometimes when I lose control of my powers they effect the people around me too. I can't tell you how many times my friends get confused from being around me.” the man chuckled at the thought, then started to wonder if it was a good idea to laugh at that. Spoon's powers were a bit of a problem at times. It was quite possible for him to lose control, or fudge up in using them during a mission. The last thing he would want was to get one of his friends seriously hurt because he made them lose focus in the middle of a fight. He knew he needed to do something about his unusual talents but for the life of him he couldn't figure out what. Like many of his agent friends he had considered training with them but always put it on hold. How did one practice using psychic confusion technics on their own? Maybe he needed a partner to help him know if he was doing something wrong, but he didn't feel like using someone else as a guinea pig. It wasn't very nice, and Spoon was a nice guy. Perhaps he would figure out how to practice with his powers one day, but today was not that day.
“Oh well, one day I will get a hang of it, and then I can totally use them to give me and my friends a chance to kick some ass! Confusion powers can come in handy like that don't you think Owwy?” Spoon chuckled again at the thought while the two headed along the way to the kitchens. Now that Owwy was with him Spoon could recognize the way they were going. Spoon just had to shake his head in shame. How could he have gotten himself so lost in this place? The young man was not some stupid noob that had no sense of direction anymore. He had been working here for more than half a year now. He should have known his way around by now. At least today he had some help, and that help came in the form of an awesomely cute doggy. Man, he was so lucky! He couldn't wait to show off Owwy to his friends. They would all be so jealous of his talking dog friend. Owwy was the coolest, even Jesse couldn't deny that. Heh, now Jesse wouldn't be the only one with a talking dog. Spoon's dog was far better than stupid hellhound Gil!
The moment that Spoon was waiting for soon arrived. After a bit of walking the duo made it to the kitchens. Spoon squealed in delight and helped Owwy open the door. The instant that he entered the room he spotted a familiar face. There he was, one of the gamer crew members, Totalbiscuit. Surprisingly it was only Tb that Spoon saw. The young man wondered what happened to the others. There was usually at least two people in the kitchens. Where was Nova? Cry? Toby? Hell, where the hell were Jesse and Dodger? Normally at least Jesse was normally chilling with TB. Sadly there was no Jesse in sight, all there was the lone biscuit sitting by his lonesome reading some file while quietly chewing on a sandwich. Well he wouldn't be alone for very long, someone was about to get some well deserved company. “TB!” Spoon waved and bounded over to his british friend.
“Hello Spoon...Still as energetic as ever I see.” the man replied, not bothering to take his eyes off the papers he was reading. Spoon frowned beneath his mask. He had been hoping for a more welcoming greeting but ended up being a little disappointed. Then again he shouldn't be surprised, TB was not as hyper as the rest of the group was, especially when he was trying to focus on something important. Maybe whatever he was looking was something important to him. Well, Spoon couldn't let that sour attitude of his slide today. Spoon leaned closer to the other man and waved his hand in the man's face to grab his attention. That did the trick it made TB look at him...not in a good way, he looked a bit annoyed by that, but he at least got TB's attention. Spoon backed up a little bit there before TB could try to hurt him.
“Before you try to kick my ass, I want to introduce you to someone. TB, this is my new friend Owwy! I met him in the labs today! Isn't he just the cutest thing you ever saw ever?” Spoon watched Tb look at the dog for a moment before turning a questioning gaze back to him.
“Please don't tell me you stole one of the test subjects from the labs as a pet now. What did I tell you about touching things that don't belong to you?”

Confusion powers eh? Well that would certainly help with getting away from opponents. Course only if you could control them and clearly the agent admitted he couldn't. So that was the only downside.
"Yes, it is a helpful thing once you get the hang of it." Owen replied, holding back a snarl at being called Owwy again.
For the love of death he hated this! His frustration only grew when the man had to help him open the door and looking around, the wolf-dog waited. Though it seemed that one of the people in here was the man's friend. TB? Well that was a nickname and at least a good one. However the words that TB used angered the wolf-dog more than Spoon's constant calling of him Owwy. That was another thing people saw him as. A lab animal, something to test on.
"I am NOT a test animal!!" Owen voiced his dislike clearly toward TB. "I am Owen Sherlock, Scientist to the PIDA and part time Field Agent thank you!"
The hackles on his back were raised as his ears were slanted in his displeasure. So far this day was just getting worse and worse. It was just one of those days.
"You can check the files and you will find it. Says the same thing." Owen added.

It was just another day at the PIDA agency. John had come in to work in his office, trying his best to provide the best psychological care to his fellow agents that someone with absolutely zero knowledge or experience in psychology he could muster. Going through the day as best as he could till lunch time. As inexperienced as he was he was finding that the job was becoming easier the longer he did it. All his research on the subject, of all the common mental problems that people in such high risk jobs such as his really did pay off in the end. This promotion in the end seemed to pay off. He still thought it was bullshit of course the 'reward' he got for his help in the runaway hellhound and shifters case was to work in a field he knew absolutely nothing about, when there were plenty of people out there better qualified to handle it. At least now he felt less useless. It could have been worse he suppose, the agency could have done something far more stupid with him than they already did.
Then again...they were making him do yet something else that he didn't feel comfortable with. John's counseling job kept the man too busy to take on field work as much as he used to, but every once in awhile he found some time to work on a case or two. Most of those missions were things that he and his crew picked up to work with amongst each other. The group of misfit agents would get together every few weeks to pick up the latest missions, chose which ones they liked the best and choose a partner to work with. That was how most of his field work was done. Today though was different. While Johnathan was buried neck deep in his counseling duties his superiors decided to hand him out a special mission and pick out a partner for him to work with. The mission sounded pretty straight forward. Like most of the missions he dealt with in the past he was tasked with bringing two suspects in for questioning, all the finer details of the case were in the file given to him. The mission wasn't the thing that bothered him about it. What bugged him was who he had to work for.
Guillotine. Fucking Guillotine was his partner for this mission. What a load of bullocks. Out of all the partners he could have ever been shafted with why did it have to be Gil? John hadn't seen Gil since the day the agency decided to make the hellhound live with his friend Jesse while he recovered. He only bothered to show up for that to threaten the beast not to hurt his friend again. Since then the two had been living a comfortable distance from each other. But now they would have to be working together. He hated it. He hated the idea of having to play babysitter to a man-eating monster. To make matters worse it would be Gil's first mission too. The hellhound had been out of commission thanks to his knee for so long that he couldn't work till now. No doubt the agency didn't bother teaching the hellhound the basic points to field work, they never bothered with him and his friends so why would they do the same for someone they were forcing to work for them? This mission was going to be a long and frustrating one indeed, he just knew it.
As upset as he was over the matter he had no other choice but to do it. Once his briefing was done Johnathan headed straight to the kitchens to spend his break time going over the file to get more knowledge on the case. He knew he needed to get a good understanding of what he and his partner would be dealing with before he arranged a meet up with his oh so detestable hellhound. By the time Gil got word of his first mission one of them at the very least needed to know what to do. By the time that John got there the place was pretty quiet. It helped him concentrate as he sat there reading through the file. That was, until Spoon showed up. Argh, Spoon. He was the last person you ever wanted to show up when you needed to concentrate. The man was too hyper and childlike to ever understand the need of personal space. It was hard to hide his annoyance with the younger man when he started acting like his usual self. Somehow he was able to manage that...until he saw the dog.
Great, first he wouldn't be able to read his mission file during his break but now he had to deal with Spoon stealing pets now too? John knew he had to be stern with Spoon there. The fool was bound to lose his job if he pulled stunts like this. But soon he discovered that his assumption was wrong. When he accused the younger man of stealing Spoon burst out laughing. Then the dog spoke. That's right, the dog spoke and he didn't sound too happy when he did either. John looked between Spoon and the dog named Owen, shock clearly evident on his face till the situation finally clicked in his brain and he facepalmed. “I'm so sorry.” he immediately apologized to Owen. “Please forgive me, I've been working here for less than half a year but I am still not used to working with supernaturals. I didn't know you worked here. I just thought my friend here brought a pet to work. He has a habit of doing strange things like this so I just jumped to conclusions.” Dear god did he ever feel embarrassed by that. Besides Gil John had never had much of a chance to work with his fellow supernatural agents before. It didn't help him with things like this. Even then most supernaturals here looked rather human in appearance. He didn't even think for a second that Owen might be one of the few exceptions. “It didn't help matters when he told me your name was Owwy. Bloody hell Spoon what kind of name is Owwy?”
“What? I thought it was cute.” the man laughed, earning a scowl from the british man.
“Cute? What's cute about that? That sounds like the kind of thing a toddler would say if they got hurt. You are a grown man Spoon, even if you don't act like it...Did you even ask if he was fine with that nickname?” John didn't even need to ask to tell that Owen didn't consent to Spoon's pet name for him. It would take a special kind of person to ever agree to be called Owwy, and he wasn't sure he would ever meet someone like that. Spoon just shook his head, the look on his face...or rather posture was enough to tell him that his friend felt no shame whatsoever of that only made the man facepalm again. Dear god Spoon was a piece of work indeed. Owen's words made the man look back at the strange dog. “Not on these files.” he said showing the large file he had been reading earlier. “This is just a case file I received today, it has nothing to do with who works here. The only thing close to that that I have access to is the patient files I keep in my office.”
“I'm a part time counselor.” he explained quickly. “Unless you have come to get a psychological evaluation in the past I won't have you in my records. But I don't need to look at that to tell that you are telling the truth. I don't doubt that you work here.” This was the PIDA after all, it wasn't too surprising that a talking animal was working here. Likely Owen was not a talking animal but something else, like a werewolf, shapeshifter, or some other supernatural that he never heard of before. “My name is John, my friends call me Totalbiscuit or TB for short. The nickname comes from the job I had before joining the PIDA.” he explained. “You already met Spoon of course.” he turned his gaze to his friend before turning back to Owen. “Let me guess, you were minding your own business than my friend over there dragged you along with him huh?”

At least the man apologized. That earned for a different reaction from the wolf-dog, a light sigh left him as a he sat down on the ground. Long tail just fell to the ground as he sat there and ears twitched slightly.
"Apology accepted." Owen replied in a much calmer voice. "I think it will be a while before anyone gets used to working with supernatural. I'm not one of the supernatural I just had a....accident in life..."
Yeah....a explosion somehow forced his mind into the body of a wolf-dog and he somehow survived. Now he was pretty much trapped in this place he worked in. The man probably didn't know since he never went to the labs in the Research Facility part of PIDA. Not many Agents went there that didn't need to.
Stupid nickname. Who calls a animal that? Especially one with human intelligence? Oh what was Owen thinking? He was still a human! Ears slanted as a slight glare was given to Spoon as the man said he thought 'Owwy' was cute. However at hearing the new agent agree on Owen's dislike for the name, he looked back at the man.
"I kept asking him to call me Owen or Sherlock, he ignored me each time." Owen added his two cents in. "Oh well I wasn't referring to those files, I was referring to the ones that show the info on people who join up and work here."
Owen shook his head to the psychological evaluation thing. Thank goodness he hadn't need to take that. If he had to then he'd probably rip out chunks of his own fur if he was able to, course without hands that would be hard to do. Maybe he'd end up chewing them out of his tail? A bushy eyebrow was raised slightly when the Agent said their nickname was TotalBiscuit. Okay that was...odd. At least the man gave his real name, John. A fairly normal name for humans.
"I was in the labs doing just that, then he bursts in thinking it was the Kitchen then he just goes....all weird." Owen said as he raised a paw and pointed it at Spoon.
