Vasil stood under the shade of a large tree, a place in the park that was mostly closed off from the rest of it. Hardly a soul ventured to this part. It did well for peace and quiet. But sadly, Vasil had plenty of quiet back in the sewers where the headquarters were. His visions weren't providing as much as they had before, but still they all took what he saw into consideration and thought of ways to use it; whether the vision was actually real truth or not. A sigh left him as he stood there hidden in his cloak. So far Scarlet hadn't emerged to beg him to return to headquarters. She meant well, she was just doing her job and being a loyal follower.

Darkness was slowly setting in on the city of New Orlands, which was the perfect time for Erebos to venture out. It wasn't like the shadow being couldn't hide himself during the daylight, he was perfectly capable of doing so during any time of day. But night time was the best. As the light faded from the world, the shadows started to grow, making it far more easier to jump from shadow to shadow to follow humans around. Sunset was the best, it was the time that most of the humans started heading home after a long day of work, or studying at the library. If he was lucky he could find someone to follow home so he could observe what humans did at home. Erebos didn't know what he liked more, watching humans outdoors or in the safety of thier homes. Humans always acted differently when they thought no one was watching them. Some didn't seem to change much, but others were very different, they even did weird things that both confused and facinated him. So long as he could find the right person he could have a great time.
As night fell though Erebos didn't catch anyone of interest. He couldn't tell what was wrong with today, maybe he was looking for someone a little more special than he needed too, or there weren't a lot of people that he hadn't spied on already, but he wasn't feeling it. The shadow being slinked off away from the busy streets feeling a little down as he moved. He was sad, he was always sad now. Things had become rather depressing since he had been left on his own for the past few months. It had seemed like only yesterday that he was living with a group of like minded creatures. For once in his existence he didn't feel alone anymore. He could show his face to someone without them screaming in terror, he could talk without someone cringing to the sound of his voice, he could even touch someone. But all of that was gone. One day he just found the old house empty...and it had stayed like that for weeks. Erebos didn't know where the group of beings he had once called his friends went, but where ever they were, they weren't here with him now.
Ever since the group left him the shadow being started to lose interest in his favorite past time. Observing humans just didn't feel as exciting anymore. Hell, sometimes watching them actually hurt him. Seeing the people he followed being surrounded by friends and family reminded him of how lonely he felt now. Maybe I should stop this. he pondered as he drifted off into the park. His curiosity was slowly being replaced by sadness. There was nothing to go back to anymore. He had no one to be with, only an empty house filled with painful memories of what he once had. But staying out here didn't make him feel any better. No...he couldn't go back. Surely he could find someone to help fill the void. Maybe he should find a nice human and stay with them, maybe even get close to them. What did he have to lose? He already had nothing left.
As the being drifted further and further into the park, lost in his own thoughts he felt a presence nearby. It wasn't a human presence but it still was enough to draw his attention. Slowly the shadown being drifted towards it to find what looked like a man sitting under a tree. Erebos couldn't tell what this creature was, or what it was doing here. But just like him, he was alone...all alone. The shadow being drifted a little closer to watch him, making sure to keep himself well hidden from this new creature. Maybe this one would be the one to help him feel a little less lonely?

Night already? Vasil thought as he stood there, his mix matched eyes closed under the hood.
However, his eyes soon opened when he sensed something nearby. He wasn't exactly sure on what it was, but it was something not human like himself or at least not full human. He couldn't tell. His sapphire eye seemed to glow under the hood of his cloak as he stepped out from under the tree. His torn up cloak trailed behind him.
"Hello." Vasil said calmly. "You don't need to hide, I'm pretty harmless."

Who was this stranger sitting on his own in the park? This person wasn't someone Erebos recognized, and he knew most of the people that roamed the streets. Even most of the supernaturals. There was a large number of supernaturals that lived in the city, and they weren't too hard to spot once you knew what to look for. For Erebos it was as simple as feeling thier auras. All creatures had some kind of aura, or feeling to them that went beyond emotions. While Erebos was more sensitive to emotions he could feel more than that in almost every living being. No matter how human they looked Erebos could tell they were anything but human once he got close enough. This man wasn't a human, he could feel that when he felt his presence, and he could feel it even more so now that he was much closer. Erebos knew quite a lot of the supernaturals int he city but there were always a few drifters that he would stumble across. Maybe this creature was one of those drifters? Or maybe he didn't go out much.
Whoever this stranger was he was enough to renew his curiosity. Cautiously Erebos made his way towards the creature to see what he was doing. Erebos kept a bit more distance with the man than he normally did with humans, just in case it was as sensitive as he was. But even with him being more wary that didn't stop his presence from being known. Erebos froze. Crap. He wasn't expecting to be found out so fast. The shadow being's mind went into a panic. As lonely as he was he had no intentions of making contact with this being so soon. He wanted to get to know him first. What if he scared him? What if he attacked him? No, he couldn't risk it. Erebos backed away, hoping that if he didn't respond the man would assume he was just sensing things and forget about him. If he didn't buy it though Erebos wasn't sure what he'd do. He would either have to show himself or leave, and neither of those options he liked.

Vasil sighed as he stood there. Shy being it seemed. Reaching up with his hands, Vasil removed his hood. Reveal his pale face, his one emerald eye and his one sapphire eye both seemed to glow as he stood there.
"Come now, I think it's a great deal obvious that I'm not going to be able to do anything to you." Vasil said. "I also have no intention to."
Vasil was nothing but skin and bone really, due to being so thin. His torn up cloak hid that fact very well. Plus, since he hadn't yet chosen a side, holy or unholy, he wasn't all that powerful in terms of supernatural. Besides, his visions were the only thing the occult needed him for.
