Malcolm teetered away cautiously as the young female began to pace like a wild animal behind a cage, hungry to roam free with nothing tying her down. The fidgety agent was so caught up that she hadn’t properly introduced her however the PIDA bodyguard was well aware of who she indeed was. As mentioned before, Malcolm made it a priority to scrutinize all current applicants in the PIDA for security purposes as well as personal knowledge of soldiers in his... platoon you could say. Old habits never die I suppose.
The nervous boy seated near Malcolm was rather silent throughout the ordeal although it was rather difficult to talk to an individual who seemed extremely flustered by the world around her. She perked, eyes darting every direction before muttering under her breath that she had heard something. Malcolm noticed nothing and she seemed distracted once again after a moment or to. The bodyguard cleared his throat cautiously before attempting to capture her attention. “So... what brings you here Miss...?” Although he didn’t need her name, Peter was left out of the loop and Malcolm didn’t want to frighten the young girl by mentioning that she technically already knew who she was. Although, she seemed genuinely sidetracked at the moment that she would probably not realize.

This person was strange. Why was she so nervous? Constantly moving? Peter raised a eyebrow confused as he watched her. Peter really didn't see himself in this conversation. It was really obvious since he hadn't spoken. But it was mainly due to his trouble with talking to other people in a normal conversation.
He leaned back against the park bench and he kept his gaze off of the girl and Malcolm. He couldn't figure out what to say, what to do. It felt like he was just meant to stay silent. His gaze was aimed toward the part of the bench that no one was sitting on, but it soon went to the ground.

"You know I can tell you are curious," Izzy said to Peter. "As for what brings me here, it is simply that I love the park and out doors," Izzy responded to Malcolm tone almost excited. Her pace sped up as she paced and it made it so she was almost running. She almost hated it when someone didn't share her love of the outdoors, but they were in the park weren't they? "So what brings you two to the park?" she asked tone curious and not the least bit breathless. She kept the steady pace as she liked running. She stayed silent the only sound being her feet hitting the ground as she waited for an answer or another question from either of them.

She was indeed a wild one. The PIDA bodyguard chuckled as the energetic female picked up the pace almost heating the sidewalk as she sped back and forth, relishing the outdoors. It was a beautiful day and although he did not express this much wonder for this gorgeous public plain, Malcolm spent an endearing moment to take in the peaceful sights of New Orlands. The cool afternoon breeze, the scent of growing flora and fauna and the sight of pitifully innocent faces smiling at each other without a care in the world. “It is a beautiful day.” Malcolm agreed aloud, his irises burying the internal pain inside, a gracious grin followed.
“I’m here just enjoying myself for a while.” Malcolm retorted simply. “Taking a breather before returning to work.” He added before retreating to the bench beside Peter in an effort to relax his young male companion, equally doing so to give the girl some room to roam. Malcolm shifted a glance peripherally to Peter, awaiting some sort of response from him to help him escape this cocoon.

"Not sure curious is the word." Peter muttered, he was more confused than curious.
Isabelle certainly was strange and confusing. It was hard for Peter to get any words into this conversation. He was better at talking to others during work. For some reason when he was working, he could talk to others normally and have no problems. This.....this wasn't work, it was a normal conversation. And it was clear he was having trouble talking.
"Just....thinking..." Peter said faintly in response to why he was here.
He was telling the truth. He had been thinking about the accident that now only Malcolm knew about it. Peter's gaze shifted between the ground and Isabelle's movements. Only for it to be shifted back to the ground and stay there as his shoulders hunched a bit due to how he was sitting.
Malcolm's mentioning of the park being beautiful only got a nod in response. True, it was lovely. But the park had lost most of it's beauty after the accident so long ago. It just seemed to take a good deal of the beauty he remembered being in the pack away.

Izzy was loving how fast she was going and at the moment how fresh the air felt. "It is a beautiful day," she said happily with pure joy in her voice. She was loving the room that Malcolm had given her and said, "Thank you," before speeding up a little more. she didn't know what was with Peter but she wasn't going to ask, she sensed it was one of those things that asking about would just make awkward. She smiled as she closed her eyes knowing the trail back and forth enough now to take in everything around her through something besides sight as she ran. She smiled and opened her eyes after a few passes. "So do either of you just generally like the outdoors then?" she asked generally curious. Izzy finally slowed a bit, slower than before but not quite a walk.

Still observing through peripheral means Malcolm took notice as Peter’s invisible aura discolored and his body language slouched, irises dulled further within the bright sun. He was obviously withdrawn from this positive setting, the sinister culprit his haunting past. He placed a relaxing arm onto the back of the bench and tapped his silent friend trying to comfort his new junior workmate. Peter was obviously distressed and the senior PIDA agent decided he required mental stimulation to distract him from these evocative memories. A game; to childish possibly?
As Izzy addressed her two comrades again, Malcolm nodded in response, chuckling again from the young woman’s unnatural enthusiasm. “I greatly enjoy the outside world.” As his extravagant irises captured the peace sweeping through the greenery, a flash dissolved the sanctity of the park, revealing chaos and destruction. The small lake had become a empty pile of ashen bone of death, blood soaking into the roots. With a noxious shake he pushed aside the haunting vision before glancing kindly to his male companion. This random thought was the only thing this bodyguard could accomplish. “Hey, let’s do something! Shall we test ourselves in the wood, see who’s better?” He gave a competitive snicker, tapping Peter once again.

Peter had stayed quiet the whole time Isabelle spoke. It was hard to find the words to say when your voice hated you in a social situation. Peter jumped a small bit to the sudden feeling of Malcolm tapping his shoulder. This caused him to pull a bit away as he faced the man but he soon went back to his original position. Only to give a weak a smile and look down at the ground, hunching his shoulders a bit more.
It wasn't a moment or two later till he heard Malcolm's words. A test? Peter glanced back at Malcolm and his gaze went to Isabelle. Isabelle most likely was something of the supernatural, Peter knew he stood little chance against her. Malcolm was a senior agent, and it would be foolish to test skills when Peter knew his own skills were no match.
"What...what kind of test do you have....in mind?" Peter asked nervously, it would be rude to refuse without knowing the kind of test that it was.

Izzy paused and looked at Malcolm, she didn't want to accept without knowing what kind of test it was. "What kind of test?" she asked echoing Peter with the question. She stood absolutely still as she listened only glancing every few seconds to Peter then back to Malcolm. She was near frozen for she knew these two were human but they were also fellow officers and who knew what they had up their sleeves. She wasn't very brave when it came to tests and she froze most of the time, not knowing what to do! Izzy waited as she stood still as she could and paid strict attention to what ever Malcolm was about to say.

The high-ranking PIDA operative hadn’t anticipated such apprehension from both members of his company. Malcolm was not a competitive person so he was not trying to embarrass them or make them feel less of themselves, it was all harmless fun. However, the young duo seemed cautious of the idea, questioning him of the nature of the test. Even he wasn’t particularly sure what it would be composed of. Agility? Stamina? Strength? Malcolm curled his inactive hand beneath his chin, pondering deeply. Perhaps...?
He then gazed at the two young agents, a reassuring grin presenting itself. “Okay, maybe test wasn’t the best word to use. A type of test, but mostly training to keep you two on your toes. How about you both against me?” He had devised something but he would first question them of this particular development. To Malcolm, he was going to observe their weaknesses, but not through open admitted tests, more through mischievous banter. Also, it would allow the man to use his abilities for it had been quite some time.
“Please don’t be nervous. I just thought it would be a cool exercise!” He encouraged.

So....a fight pretty much... Peter thought.
Yes there were other terms to use for this. Brawl, combat training, and other words that escaped him for the moment. But the certain term for this wasn't important. The important thing was, what would his answer be to Malcolm? True it wasn't actual training, but it would still be useful in the long run. But since Isabelle wasn't human and she used her abilities, wouldn't that scare people?
"But...where would we....do this at?" Peter asked nervously still. "Can't be where...people can watch. It's a park after all and..."
Peter went silent as he sat there. Well he certainly wasn't being of much aid with his questions. The park wouldn't be a good place for a friendly fight. Too many people would be able to watch.

"I am fine with the idea but I am also with Peter, where would we have the little friendly competition?" Izzy asked curious because she knew he couldn't mean to have the fight in the park! Honestly what is he thinking! Izzy though in silent panic. "I mean I am pretty much useless here!" she exclaimed voice hesitant, she was almost afraid of what Malcolm would say. She was completely still but the stillness now came from her being a little fearful of what was going on. She looked from Malcolm to Peter and back again wondering what Peter was thinking. She stayed completely still as she listened to what would be said.

“Of course not here!” He retorted in disbelief, another comforting chuckle escaping his scarred lip. Obviously such things were not to be observed by the innocent, especially when one of this trio carried blood of a supernatural. Malcolm abilities were unnatural yes, but cloaked as improbable human luck. It was rather bizarre that the female agent definitely found discomfort in confrontation; this line of work required little else. They were defenders for the simple men and women of this realm and Malcolm would give his very essence for this familiar plain and all its inhabitants.
Although, maybe the senior agent was too battle-born to understand these youth’s apprehension to fight? He was raised in warring chaos so he knew little else but fight and sacrifice for what you believed in and that was protecting. No, he needed to prepare them; training in the PIDA headquarters was sound however it didn’t provide the honest and unpredictable situation’s a soldier must carry out on a moment’s notice.
“We shall do this in the withdrawn forests.” He answered. Then, he put on his mental ‘mentor cap’ on before continuing. “What you must understand is that you need to be ready. Those meaning to harm you may not wait until you are drawn from innocents so dealing with a fight soundly is important. I want you to be prepared and I believe outside influence will help you greatly and I will happily aid you. I am here for you both as an advisor and comrade.” There hesitant glances reminded him of those many young men he led to fight against the powerful rules of the supernatural. They all counted on him... but honestly he had failed them all.
“What do you think? Peter? Isabelle?”

The forest is a safer bet... Peter thought in his head as he thought it over. Everyone needs training.
"Okay....sure." Peter said after a few more minutes of silence.
Well no harm in trying. They weren't going to kill each other he knew that. But still....he knew Isabelle was something not human. And since he didn't know what she was, there was a good chance that she had an advantage or two due to whatever she was.

"Sure!" Izzy said ready to put her hyper nature to work. She was good in a fight and at making decisions on short notice. "I would love to practice," she said not hesitating on saying either statements as she was sure she would love it. "Should we leave now?" she asked turning to Malcolm and waiting patiently as she was trying to save energy now. She was no longer reluctant at all but ready to help Peter and watch her own back. She stared at Malcolm only her fingers moving.
