Azoriat's Limousine pulled up to the front of the Maddox Boutique. It had been weeks since he arrived again on this mortal plane and visited the boutique to update his sense of fashion. Azoriat's driver stepped around the vehicle to open the door for his master. As he stepped out he looked around the street, looking for anyone watching him. Azoriat wasn't paranoid he just did not enjoy some of the looks the locals gave him out of jealousy. He walked with purpose to the door of the boutique as his driver hurried to open that door for him as well.
"Ah! Mr. Azoriat! it's wonderful to see you again. Please if there is anything we can do just say the word."
The Boutique manager, Azoriat had dealt with him the last time. He could smell the greed pouring from his aura. Azoriat enjoyed the sin wafting from this man otherwise he would not tolerate the annoyance. He walked to the rack, inspecting a selection of dark suits. The fashion of this century was by far an improvement from the dark ages.
"I require no help at the moment... please allow me my space"
The last time he had come he had only purchased the one outfit. Apparently in this century one was expected to change his outfit daily even if they were a pauper. A notion surely born of greed and consumerism. But no matter Azoriat had more than enough wealth, it was these new customs that would take some adjustment.

Ari felt her chest rise then fall, sweat pouring slowly down her forehead. Bastard really did have a death wish didn't he?! Pushing her hands into the dirt to help support herself as she went to stand Arinecro felt her body start to shake in not only fatigue, but utter hatred. When she finally stood, head lowered in anger, she felt her body shake as she started to laugh at the man who stood before her blood pouring from different places she had attacked, "That all you got punk... He said you were dangerous, said you'd be a challenge, but your just a show off aren't you?" Spitting blood from her mouth Ari threw her head up eyes almost a charcoal black now, the anger and hatred fueling her already running adrenaline rush.
The man had made a fatal mistake taking her head on, but of course weren't most men like that? Pigs, dispicable animals who really didn't know what in the world they were truly going up against, yet most didn't, they thought that since her kind were close to extinction that they were easy targets and people to destroy. Gritting her teeth a low growl escaping her lips Ari put one foot behind the other and took off towards her target determination in her eyes.
--------------------
Hours and a good meal later Arinecro sat in her car, one hand on the wheel as she headed towards town, foot on the gas like it was lead. The man hadn't explained the complications she'd been given with this target or the baggage that would come with it and he would pay for that. Gritting her teeth again she let an earth shattering scream rip from her lips and out into sky, sending birds scattering as she headed towards Maddox Boutique.
When she finally pulled up she noticed that someone else was there. The smell made her cautious knowing that the man was definitely not human, another assassin perhaps? No, the car was much to stylish especially compared to her BMW. Parking the car carefully Ari went for the door and stopped feeling the sinful nature and hatred once more hit her like a ton of bricks. She hated this place with a passion, but a job was a job. Slicking her hair back into place so she at least looked presentable whilst walking into the store Ari looked at herself again. Dirt stains lined her hands, cuts lined her slightly exposed stomach and back and a black eye adorned her left eye... just perfect. Putting on a simple smile she finally sighed and entered the store.
When the bell to the store rang the man at the desk looked up sending off his waft of greed only to have fear enter his eyes, "Madam... I..."
"Shut your trap old man... just please head towards the back to we can finish this... privately..." she enunciated the last word so as not to have disturbance or so she hoped from the current customer.

Azoriat's browsing was interrupted by a young woman's voice, and she seemed quite upset. He raised his head to look at her and was shocked by her appearance. That could not possibly be natural, this world surprised him every day.
Azoriat cleared his throat loudly and looked straight at her. She was small very small but she tasted like death and to Azoriat that was the finest perfume. He walked slowly over to her.
"What is the matter miss?"
He lifted her chin softly with his fingers, her skin was delicate. His touch was hot but not uncomfortable. He gazed into her eyes, his swirling like grey hurricanes, almost hypnotic. He towered over the girl so he had to lean down to gaze into her eyes.
"My name is Azoriat, It must be quite something to have you so upset. Is there anything I may do to ease your suffering?"
Azoriat smiled at the girl. Her features were young and vibrant perhaps the brightest he had yet to see in this city. He could not place exactly what was familiar about her but the taste of her aura brought him back hundreds of years.

Arinecro's eyes were lowered in an almost hated look as she watched the man at the desk slowly start towards the back of the store, "That's right I..." She was then stopped as the customer walked towards her his aura dark, yet familiar. Averting her eyes away from him for the briefest moment Ari looked back to the scared, yet shocked man who had ordered the assassination, "I will deal with you soon enough old man..." Turning her head back towards the customer Ari was shocked when he lifted her chin to make her look into his eyes, the look of shock clear on her face.
If she truly had a heart it would have slowly stopped in its place for maybe a second before picking itself back up, why did he seem familiar or at least his kind. Possibly he was a demon? That would make sense of why they appeared to be familiar after all her kind had had many different encounters with their kind. As she watched him talk to her it became apparent he had some reason for asking her these things, was he worried by chance for her? No, that wasn't even possible for a total stranger to just worry about her like this. Then again there were known strangers in this god forsaken world who did these things for their own benefit especially men, yet no aura of greed, ego or lust appeared to be wafting from this man so what were his intentions?
"I don't mean to seem rude, sir, but unless you want to pay me for the job this man hired me for and answer the questions that he left unanswered like the fool he is then no, i'm afraid there is nothing that can satisfy me at this time to stop my anger or hatred that I feel at the moment..." She then noticed out of the corner of her eye the man trying to move his way towards the back and leave, "Don't even old man... your going to pay me for what I just did and you best be paying me extra for the baggage that came with it!"

"How much does the man owe you my dear?"He looked at the old man sternly, Azoriat did not like when people went back on their word. To a Demon contracts were everything, if this man was trying to cheat her Azoriat would make it right. He released the girl from his touch, looking fully at the man. "Whatever you owe her, I shall pay but know I will collect the debt."He turned again to the girl. She seemed to have a fire inside her which pleased the Demon. One as young as her with a fire this bright spelled potential. Potential for what exactly remained to be seen. He put his strong arm around the girl. "My name is Azoriat, I am new to this city. It seems to me you are having a bit of trouble this day. Perhaps some retail therapy is in order? Would you like that?"He walked her over to the woman's section of the boutique. His eyes wandered over the selection, most of the clothes here were high fashion or elegant dresses. There was not much which seemed to fit her unique style. Suddenly something caught his eye, tucked in the corner of the boutique. i13.photobucket.com/albums/a253/minionschomp/ari.pngHe gestured to the outfit hoping she would like it. "This would look good on you no?"

The man appeared to be doing whatever he could to appease her, which surprisingly, for the young beauty was new. Pushing her bangs away from her face as the man let her go and looked at the man with a slight anger Arinecro wondered why he seemed to be so intent on fixing the mess that the man had started in the first place. Stepping back a little from both the customer and the man who stood near the door to the back Ari looked between the two as the man said he would pay her for the man's debt however, in return, the man would owe the customer for doing so.
"Thank you sir, I mean Azoriat, my name is Arinecro by the way..." she gave a half bow in respect for the help the man was giving her. It was uncommon for other's to attempt to pay her for her services when they didn't know the issues that were being dealt with, however as long as she got paid, Ari didn't care who paid her, though she did wish to know the reason the man hadn't spoken of the children behind the assassination, "One thing though..." she turned back to the man standing at the door her eyes lowered in an anger that couldn't fully be perceived.
"You are lucky that I am not allowed to take your soul and that you are not on my list old man, you didn't tell me that their were kids involved in this... it took his last breath for your target to tell me these things..."
She then turned back to Azoriat and nodded, "thank you..." she then followed him towards the women's clothing finding mostly things that disgusted her, however Azoriat finally found something near the back and when he revealed it to her Ari's eyes almost lit up with hunger and intrigue, "I agree sir..." She then carefully took the items and headed towards the backroom looking back at the man as she went.
Knowing there was a shower in the back area Arinecro quickly undressed, stepping onto the cold stone floor of the shower before turning it on. It wasn't common for her to use customer's showers or other items, but this was an exception especially with all the trouble and baggage she had gone through for the kill. Allowing the hot water to drown out her anger Ari watched as the mud and grime fell away from her hair and body allowing her smooth almost white skin to sparkle once more. Smiling darkly as she finished the shower after about twenty minutes Ari quickly got dressed before exiting the back room back into the main store.
"Well... Um... what do you think?" She normally wasn't one to seem anywhere near shy, however these people were total strangers and these were clothes that though fit her taste were much higher standards than she was use to.

Azoriat smirked when she spoke her name, it was quite unique. She mentioned taking the man's soul, his assumptions were right, she did have power. Azoriat's curious nature demanded to know what she was. He watched her, observing the way she moved as they walked to the women's clothing. He watched as her eyes lit up when he suggested an outfit, It pleased her.
His eyes met with hers as she took the items into the back room, his carrying a hunger. Shortly after she left him he heard the water of the shower. He focused on the sound as he leaned against the wall as he imagined each bead of water cascading down her body. This distraction was welcome for Azoriat as things had been quite tense since his arrival.
He smiled ear to ear when she returned, he was right she looked stunning in this outfit. He walked around her slowly almost like a hunting tiger, viewing her from every angle. He lingered behind her taking in her scent before speaking over her shoulder.
"You look just as I imagined you would, perhaps better. This is my gift to you Arinecro... the first of many."
He took her hand and pulled her into the backroom quickly but not roughly or with violence. He pressed against her once they were out of prying eyes dipping his face to her neck. He dragged his tongue along her jugular tasting her. His eyes turned jet black as he pulled back to meet her gaze.
"A Carthantos!? I was told the last died centuries ago. What a pleasant surprise, have no fear, I am no hunter... merely a being with an appreciation for rare things."

Her fingers twitched in anticipation as she stood there feeling almost like a statue. It wasn't normal for her to feel like this, yet for some reason a unneeding and unending fear was starting to grip her body for some reason, but why was that? The man Azoriat was watching her carefully the look of hunger starting to slowly take over his aura, which caused her own soul to bleed with hunger only it was the hunger of a soul long lost. As he wandered around her looking her over like a hunter watching his prey Arinecro had to keep her body from shaking as well as the saliva trying to bubble up from watering out of her mouth in the hunger that was haunting to over take her small form.
Surprisingly his grabbing of her hand is what pulled her back to the reality of time, thankful only for a brief moment Ari was brought back to harsh reality as the man almost slammed her up against the back room's wall when he had her behind the door. He pushed himself up against her causing fear to slip into her eyes. She hadn't expected this, was he taking advantage of her own hunger?! Why was he being so forward with his approach of her? This was not common for anyone to try and take advantage of her even with the factor of her small form.
As he leaned down against her neck Ari's body froze, an audible growl slowly reaching from her chest and up into her throat as his tongue lapped at her jugular making fear dissolve into hunger and anger, however it dropped when he pulled back uttering her kinds name as if it was a shock. Many knew that the bloodline of the Carthantos was wearing thin, however she had heard no such rumor of their utter extinction just yet I mean after all she was still alive, as well as the rumor of her father still living, but this was a little extreme to hear that someone had heard their kind had been dead long ago even before her own birth.
To hear his voice soften in allowing her to know that he was not a hunter or someone wanting to take out her or what was left of her kind Ari stayed still her body slowly starting to relax at the notion that this man wasn't here to harm her in any fashion, but still his approach had made her cautious and weary of him and his intentions.

"I apologize if I scared you child, it was not my intent. You reeked of death and so i was curious to See how you tasted. I must say it was quite pleasing."
He lifted his body off of hers gazing still into her eyes. It was amazing, one of the only Carthantos left in existence and she was soft like a porcelain doll. He could only imagine what it was like for her being so alone. Azoriat himself had thousands of brothers and sisters he could not imagine existence other than that.
"You must be quite curious Belle Morte. You may ask your questions I shall answer them plainly. Though I must warn you some things you may not wish to know."
His hand went to his pocket holding dearly onto his silver dinari. This girl he could see as a companion, one who saw death as he did. Azoriat was drawn to death and death was drawn to him. Only time would tell if this girl would be as well.

Arinecro felt her body slowly relax as he moved away from her appoligizing for scaring her, which she now could tell had never been his intentions in the first place. He was curious about her, which again was uncommon for the young carthantos. Her kind did, yes reek of death, however they were normally ones who even most of the underworld wanted nothing to do with seeing their close to extinction and suceptibility to natural death, by knife or gun for example, as bad luck and a terrible omen, yet here a man stood before her all to curious about her like she was a wonder or a diamond in the rough. It sent shivers down her spine and another worry spell to come over her causing her balance to lose itself for a brief moment before she caught herself and looked at the man in front of her once more.
She could ask him anything, anything at all that she desired, but the only thing that could come from her lips at least for the moment was the question, "Why?" that was it a simple word, nothing more could come from her slowly trembling lips. This wasn't normal nor was it a wanted feeling for the woman, no this utter fear, yet attachment was something that was unheard of from her in the time she had been alive, yet here she stood actual fearing something for once in her almost silent life of death and misery. Not a assassination nor a close death experience had shaken the young woman like this, being caught unaware and seemingly catching the curiousity of a random stranger who just happened to be in the store of the man who had hired her to assassinate her previous victim.
Finally getting her grip about her after a few moments Arinecro started speaking once more towards the man, "What is your curiousity with me? I understand you seem to crave the need for death, yet something else is lingering under that want or maybe need for the feeling of death? Not many have been able to catch me unawares let alone get my body to tremble like this, thus something is different about you that I am for sure, the need for death and knowledge of the underworld makes me think you cling to the dead... perchance a necromancer? No, Reaper? No, not enough feeling for the dead for that... I'd have to say maybe a Levande... not even that... you are not close enough to a sociopath for that... Demon perchance? It's the closest thing I can think of that would know of my kind and not be wanting my death..." She then waited intrigue slowly taking over her fear and allowing her body to slowly again relax.

As the girl trembled Azoriat could not help but moan in pleasure, her fear was delicious. He listened as she asked him why. He pondered that for a moment, If not for her scent he would have cared less about her, perhaps even killed her for interrupting his shopping. Luckily that is not what came to pass.
"Your scent intoxicated me, your taste lured me. Please try not to fear me... it gets me excited."
Azoriat smirked as she tried to work out the nature of her fear. This girl had good intuition. He took her chin in his hand once more feeling her youthful skin. He was almost jealous, she was touched by death though remained beautiful, this was merely a dead skin he wore over his true form.
"Your senses are sharp Belle Morte. I am indeed a Demon, and though i do not like to boast, I am quite powerful. I have never met one of your kind and I am glad now that I have. Would you like to join me as I shop? I feel my wardrobe lacks a woman's touch."

He believed that her fear was dwelling because of him personally, no this was not the case, for a simple person or demon, would not make someone of her kind tremble in fear. It was more the fact of worry and uncomfortable notions of his intentions that made her fear. His approach to things was unlike many she had seen in the past, causing her to lose her guard a little more than normal which both angered her and made her fear as well. He seemed to be a little cocky at the fact that she appeared to fear him personally which in turn, caused a small smirk to place itself upon her soft lips as he raised her chin once more.
"You state my fear excites you, yet you truly don't understand my fear do you? My fear does not come from you personally, but from your actions as well as my own bodies betrayal of backing down. One of my kind don't truly back down from a challenge no matter who the person is, thus meaning that my body is not fearing you like you suggest." She then licked her lips taking in the slow building lust that seemed to be coming over the man as he spoke once more asking her if she'd like to join him with his shopping seeming to need a more womanly touch to his wardrobe, this again intrigued her however did not make her worry or cower.
"In fact there may be only one creature of the underworld whom could possibly make someone who see's and feels death on a constant basis fear them... but who wants to deal with someone who has lived centuries longer than themselves? A Levande mardröm are vicious creatures though are they not? To answer your question, however," A small smile made it's way onto her lips now her body relaxing again, fear slowly slipping away as a more comfortable feeling enveloped her, "I would enjoy your company some more, so I shall follow you in your shopping as you wish..."

"It is not the origin of your fear which excites me. It is the taste of the fear itself, It drives my senses wild and makes me hunger for you."
He pulled away from her slightly, taking a deep steadying breath. She was not as delicate as she looked, that did not surprise the Demon. He wondered how many souls she had taken, he wanted to watch her work.
"It is nightmares you fear? I assure you they have no hold here at least not at the moment. Come let us find something nice to wear. Perhaps later you will join me for dinner?"
He patted her ass gently as he walked back onto the store's floor. He waited for her to join him. Perhaps she could give him the modern touch to blend in a bit better. Azoriat sat pondering home for a moment, in hell there was no need for clothing, no need to hide beneath mortal flesh.
"Dress me however you wish Arinecro, I wish to please you."
His voice seemed to change as he mentioned pleasing her, as if there were a double meaning. Azoriat gazed upon her a spark in his eyes of the fire underneath.

Nightmares he asked? Were nightmares what she truly feared? No, it wasn't the nightmares, or maybe it just wasn't her own that she feared. With how many souls she had taken and been forced to watch the end of their life like a movie reel it should be obvious that she was lucky to even sleep at night, "I do not fear nightmares..." she said her voice low with a suttle hint of 'let it be' kind of notion to it.
He mentioned going back to the front of the store towards the actual floor to work on another outfit, this time one for himself. When he patted her on the ass she slowly stiffened wanting to grab his hand to stop him from moving, however before she could he had moved back through the door and onto the main store floor, leaving Ari to her own thoughts. The thoughts weren't the greatest, yet if she truly wanted to let her last job to drift back into her memory at least until it came to haunt her in her dreams later this evening then she would have to follow this man for now.
Heading back through the door a few moments later Arinecro saw Azoriat sitting down, pondering something slowly, before looking at her and gesturing to the clothes. He said to choose whatever she pleased to dress him in, yet the clothes here she feared may be a little high maintenance for even her taste, which in the end would possibly end this day in either humor or possibility of humiliation.
"I'll be honest, these kinds of clothes outside of what you have found is not to modern or at least the type of clothing that I currently would wear, but I'll give it a shot..." She then smiled carefully feeling herself continue to relax as the man mentioned he would wear anything to please her, which she could definitely catch the double meaning in that causing her to sway her hips some as she headed towards the clothes to try and choose something out for the man.

He sat, enjoying his conversation with the blue haired girl. She was perky in attitude and form. He enjoyed the way her new clothes fit her, he imagined keeping her in his home, his own living doll. As his thoughts drifted to the more sinister his eyes turned jet black and he licked his lips without realizing it.
" Do your best, if need be we can always go somewhere else. It is not often I get to enjoy myself this way. Perhaps we could get to know each other more... intimately."
Azoriat stood watching her move through the racks, searching for something that pleased her. He enjoyed toying with her, He had dressed her up and now it was his turn. He imagined her as a servant girl in 15Th century Italy kneeling before him, bowing her head, dressing him in the finest linens in all of Europe. Something about this city had set his mind on fire. He felt as he did all those centuries past. This place was ripe with sin, not since Sodom and Gomorrah had he seen such a den of lust and greed, and violence too.
"that is if you would like that."
