Wulf was currently the youngest student at LA State. He garnered a lot of attention due to this fact, and not all of it was positive. Frat boys chasing after the "Stupid little kid", sorority girls playing pranks on him. Hell, even half the professors had it out for him. It was disheartening at best, sometimes.
But the High School had practically shoved him here, saying "LOOK AT TEH JEENYUS" and shoving him out of the place where he kind of fit in into one where everyone wanted to humiliate him to make themselves look better.
Also, between this and his jobs, he didn't have much free time.
He sighed, walking out of Botany class. Professor Suichi was one of the teachers that thought he was just some pompous brat, really. What was funny was that he looked like an older version of Wulf, but with much shorter hair. In any case, the professor often marked his grades lower than he deserved because of minor mistakes.
In any case, it was time to eat lunch. Wulfgaard knew of a small, out of the way sushi place he could go to. It was where he usually got lunch. Affordable, tasty, and not usually crowded. He walked in, and sat down at his usual table near the back after ordering his usual, the most affordable thing on the menu, spicy surumi rolls.
It wasn't real sushi, but hey, it tasted good.
He leaned back in his chair, and sighed. College was taking up more and more of his free time, and his grades were suffering due to his detective work. Life was not easy lately. Not at all.
What he really needed was a friend. Especially at college. But with his age and the rumors going around about him, who would even speak to him?

L U L U Lucila could think of a million other places she would rather be than this stupid human school. Too bad her mother made her apply before she ran off to do god knows what. Lulu hadn’t seen her mother in months, suppose she went out to find her father? For whatever reason, Lulu was currently living with her god mother, whom for some reason never likes to leave her room. In a way she was living alone.
Lulu strolled into Botany class. She really didn’t understand why she was taking this class. Her god mother mentioned it to her and that was the end of it. Botany was fairly boring. While the teacher gave his lectures Lulu looked out the window. The girl wishing she was outside flying on a beautiful day like today. It was a good day to do so; there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky. With a sigh she looked over to the student who sat beside her. He was a fairly famine looking red head. She had heard rumors about this kid. Apparently he was really young, and already a grade or two ahead of her. Some people even aid that he was a genius. Those same people also said he was a stuck up brat. Strange, he didn’t look as stuck up as most people said. Then again why should she listen to rumors? Suppose the only thing this boy really needed was a friend?
When it was time to go to lunch Lulu didn’t hesitate to follow this strange boy. She had caught his scent back in the class room, and he defiantly smelled off. Everyone else in the room was human, that she knew for a fact, but this boy was different. Curious, Lucila followed the boy to the sushi place that sat on school grounds. This place had a decent selection of sushi; she didn’t blame this kid for choosing this place. The death dragon took in a long deep breath before approaching the red head.
Lulu glanced down at the plate and realized he had ordered her favorite thing on the menu. “Mind if I join you?” she asked as she sat down beside him. Lulu wouldn’t usually be this open with people, but she wanted answers. With a smirk she leaned over and grabbed one of the tasty sushi rolls from the plate and popped one into her mouth. Lulu wasn’t the least bit sorry for what she did. It was an interesting way to get this boy’s attention. “My name is Lucila, but my friends call me Lulu. I just joined your class today and I must say it’s pretty boring.” The girl then forced a chuckle just for good measure. “What’s your name?”

Wulf was thinking about work later, and what he would have to do tehre, when a very pretty woman came up and ate one of his surumi rolls, leaving him dumbfounded for a moment. He had always kind of had a thing for those of the goth girl persuasion, and it had only gotten worse after his near death experience.
He didn't even switch on his spirit sight to see if she was human or not, as he did on reflex upon meeting most new people. Instead, he stammered a hello.
"H-hi..."
Then he regained his composure, after about three seconds.
"My name's Wulfgaard. If I had friends, I suppose they'd call me Wulf."
He nearly let out a sigh, but caught himself before he did. He forced himself not to think about the very sudden...what was the word? Crush? That he had developed on this Lulu. Almost instantaneously. It wasn't every day someone just came up and made him drop his guard completely, even if it was just for a few seconds.
"Yes, Botany class is rather boring. It was one of the few classes open when I got around to registering for this semester, though."
This time he came even closer to sighing. It wasn't like his mother could work, aside from fortune telling, what with having to have an entire lung removed, and the other being half dead from smoke damage after the car accident. He had to work to support them both. It took up a lot of time, along with his schooling.

L U L U Apart of Lucila wanted the man to get angry over her stealing one of his Surumi rolls. Some minor conflict would really jump start her boring day. But alas, this wouldn’t happen. Lulu should have known better. This boy wasn’t going to get angry with her, most didn’t. Oh, how her inner death dragon longed for some sort of dispute. As for the time being she would have to act…normal. Lulu shuddered at the thought. She wasn’t normal, not in the least. However, if she wanted answers Lulu would have to act like a normal human.
The female couldn’t help but to look around. Her cloudy grey orbs scanned the area. Several curious eyes looked their way. Were humans really this distant from the red head? Usually people had a reason to distance themselves from others. But the death dragon couldn't think of a valid reason for this. This boy hadn't done anything wrong, and yet they were treating him like an outsider? This strange human didn’t seem be so bad. His scent was actually nice, unlike some other kids in her class. In fact it was rather addicting. Oh, how Lulu wished to lean in closer and get another hit of his lovely scent. In an attempt to seem normal the woman refrained herself from doing so. The last thing she wanted to spark was personal questions. The death dragon looked back at the red head and sighed. Maybe she could get his scent later? This sudden urge was strange, but lulu would put it on the back burner for now.
The girl couldn’t help but to stifle laugh a bit when the red head stammered a hello. He seemed nervous, it was rather funny. Could she really blame him though? Lulu came out of nowhere and took one of his sushi rolls. This boy didn’t have time to think or react. Clearly, Lulu startled him. After a while this mysterious red head regained his composure. The death dragon could see confidence brewing in his eyes. Good, the boy was finally loosening up. A delighted smile reached Lulu’s face. She was happy to see the man come out of his shell a bit. With his new found confidence he began to speak. The red head started out by stating his name.
“Wulfgaard, huh?” Lulu asked with a smirk. The girl then leaned back and got comfortable in the chair. She knew she might be there for a while. “That’s quite an interesting name Wulf.” The female then took in account what he said about his friends. Pity, this human didn’t have any friends? Sure, Lulu only had a few, but at least she had some. With a sigh the dragon replied. “Well, you have one now.” She then looked down at the delicious Surumi rolls. The little morsels would spared, for now. When Wulfgaard spoke of the boring class Lulu yawned. “Y-Yeah. Maybe it won’t be so boring now that I have you to talk too.” Lulu replied with a playful wink. The death dragon began to turning on the charm. Perhaps being part succubus had it perks. The girl had ways of getting what she wanted. And right now she wished to know more about this kid. Lulu then eyed Wulf with her lovely cloudy grey orbs. “D-Do you have any plans after school?”

Plans after school? Well, today was his weekly day off, and he usually spent those playing old games from the nineties on his nineties PC. He had never been able to afford to upgrade since his dad died. He thought for a few moments.
"It seems I'm in luck. Today's my day off work."
He had a bit of a sinking feeling, though. Did he really want to be selfish enough to ruin her reputation by letting her be seen with him? Did he really want her to be as ostracized as he was? A part of him wanted to say screw it and let it happen so long as he had a friend. The more reasonable side didn't want to let her. Then again, the goth crowd never seemed to care about reputations, so what the hell. It had been her choice to come and talk to him.
At this point, there were only three Surumi rolls left on the plate. He looked at her and smiled.
"You can have the rest of them, if you want. I ordered too many."
He let out a small chuckle. He really had. He was one of those boys that didn't tend to eat much. It wasn't that he was watching his figure or anything, he just didn't tend to get all that hungry. He had ordered ten rolls, she had eaten one, he had eaten six. It was just all he needed.

L U L U “Would you like to hang out after class?” Lulu asked with a confident smile. She folded one leg over her other in an attempt to get comfortable in the chair. “I mean, if you don’t have anything else to do.” The young woman shifted in her seat a bit. Man, these chairs were uncomfortable for her. What she would give to be sitting on the ground in the middle of a forest. At least then she would be more comfortable and far away from other humans. Suppose a solitary life was an instinct that surged through her head thanks to her death dragon genes? It was possible. Though Lulu would break out of her shell to get what she wanted; answers. This kid was very interesting to say the least. He didn’t really smell human, but yet, he seemed so human-like. Lulu didn’t seem to care about the other students right now. If anything they would just get in her way.
Lulu’s cloudy grey eyes looked over to Wulf as the man spoke. He had quite a lovely smile. It look everything she had to hold back a blush before the male told her she could have the rest of his sushi. “R-Really!?” She asked before looking him over, he couldn’t be joking about that, right? “T-thank you!” Lucila replied as she took one of the Surumi rolls into her mouth. Her eyes seemed to roll back with pleasure, this stuff was good! After swallowing the delicious morsel Lulu turned back to Wulf. She had a large smile on her face. This man wasn’t so bad. Suppose it didn’t matter what Wulf was, he seemed to be ok in her eyes. “It’s nice meeting you Wulf.” She then glanced over her shoulder and glared at the students who seemed to be staring them down. Lulu rolled her eyes and turned back to Wulf. “Ignore them Wulf, they are nothing but stupid humans anyway-“The woman then stopped. Oh, how she wished she could take her words back. A red tent soon took over her cheeks. Damn, why did she have to slip up?
