As the demented Necromancer torpedoed in Agent Cox’s direction and soared over him as the human dodged his assault, an overwhelming sound of sliced flesh pierced the aura between Jesse and Allenhart and as the doctor perched himself a few feet away from the agent a heavy thud resonated and beside the PIDA agent was a sliced limb, the doctor deathly pale skin exposed to the elements and his bony fingers twitched before instant rigor mortis swept through the detached arm. As Dr. Allenhart posed there in a crazed state, he suddenly gazed to his arm, noticing a side of his body felt unnecessary lighter. A moment of silence echoed through the battlefield before he shot a unnaturally thrilled glance to Jesse and chuckled, “’Tis but a flesh wound!” And within seconds he was back into a state of momentum. The exposed wound did not bleed for there was nothing to release. Allenhart had been dead for many decades, there was really nothing left of him. However, even in his state of escape Allenhart shot a painful glance to his dearest Mindy, his eyes trickling with tiny droplets when he witnessed his creation was cut down within seconds but a third warrior. Allenhart could see that this new arrival’s power was unlike any of the others here meaning that the good doctor had to escape quickly if he was to leave with his life. A part of him though wanted to turn back, console his love as she passed back into the world of the dead, no longer of use to him. As he turned away to face his destination he raised his head upward and released a mournful howl which drew out longer and longer as he raced down the block and headed to his route of departure.

Mindy wallowed in agony as she was sliced to pieces however even in her state of defeat she continued to struggle to survive, hissing and screeching and barring her black blooded fangs to Ryudo in fury. Long heaves escaped the creatures deformed maw and within moments she released her final breathe before collapsing on herself and died. Thankfully for Jesse and Wulf, the powerful Ryudo had appeared when he did for if it had been a moment too late, who knows where they would be.

Littering the church grounds were bodies on top of bodies, their soulless eyes gazing to their victors as if trying to guilt them into feeling bad for their current situation. It had been a dark night tonight and hopefully for the rest of the dead, Allenhart would not return for a while.

The necromancer may have been fast, but Jesse now was also quick on his feet. The moment that he saw that his opponent was running towards him, the man leapt into action. He was acting more so out of defense than offense, but it seemed to do the trick. Jesse didn’t need to look to see that he had managed to hurt the crazed necromancer when he struck. He heard the spirit sword tear through flesh, and heard something fall after the impact. He got him! The bastard had to be badly hurt now right? That meant it would be easier to capture that son of a bitch and bring this fight to an end. But he wouldn’t go for the finishing blow just yet, like with any suspect that he had to bring in to the agency Jesse offered the man a chance to surrender. The way he saw it the necromancer had little choice in the matter. He had lost an arm, and was soon going to lose his bad ass monster too. If he wanted to remain in one piece he would have to follow Jesse’s orders or suffer the consequences.

Much to his surprise though, the necromancer didn’t seem very affected by his injuries at all. He merely glanced down at his wound after Jesse spoke. There was no look of horror on his face, or any reflection of pain in his eyes, hell, the damn wound wasn’t even bleeding? It was as if his body wasn’t really alive, much like the creatures he controlled. When the other man finally acknowledged his presence he did so with a twisted smile and a little joke. Had this not been so damn serious Jesse might have found it funny. As it was now, Jesse could only look dumbfounded before the bastard tried to run off again. “Hey get your crazy ass back here!” he shouted after the man. Oh hell no this son of a bitch was not just going to get up and run away like that! As the necromancer bolted Jesse gave chase, he tried his best to catch up but the zombies were converging around him and blocking his path. He tried his best to hack and slash his way through the horde but there were too many of them. Eventually he lost sight of the guy he was trying to catch. “God damn it!” he roared in frustration. He failed to end this like he said he would. Now he and the guy he was trying to back up were in trouble.

Giving up on his chase Jesse turned his focus on getting over to the younger agent. The poor kid only had a little bit of time left till he lost all his power. If he hadn’t finished big bad and ugly by that time he would be killed instantly. The least Jesse could do was try to save the kid and wait for more back up. But when Jesse made his way back where the kid and the monster had been fighting he found someone else had taken care of the beast for them. “Hey there, nice to see someone else showed up.” He said to the stranger. Jesse never saw this guy before but he had to be another agent, or at the very least a good Samaritan that happened to wander into all this mess. Agent or not they could really use the help. Jesse turned his attention to the youngest of the trio now. “Hey kid, are you alright?” he asked. The poor kid looked like he was out of juice already; it really was a good thing that the new guy showed up when he did. But they were still in trouble. With the kid drained of energy it was just him and the new guy against the horde. And to make matters worse Jesse could feel his new found strength slowly sapping away. While he hadn’t used up all his spiritual energy in one quick burst like the younger agent he didn’t have any real training with the power, and now he was feeling the side effects of it. They needed to end this as fast as they could before he wore out as well.
