((Short thread is short but I promise it will get better))
Why am I here?
That was a common thought that ran through Sariel's mind every time he came to this place. As always the angel didn't know what possessed him to come to this particular spot. Whenever the man started to space out or get lost in thought his feet would always drag him back to this building. But why? Was his mind trying to tell him something? This place...this was the place that he had woken up for the first time. Tonight was just like the night of his awakening. He could remember looking up at the stars from on top of the roof wondering how he had gotten here in the first place. He had no idea how he had wound up in such a place. All he knew was that he was from somewhere else. He had been sent here hadn't he? His father from above wanted him here, in this city, on top of that building for something. But he couldn't remember what that purpose. He felt so lost and confused but he stretched his wings out and flew away. He found himself a place to call his own in this strange world and a way to survive. He kept going.
Yet he always came back to the site of his awakening. Maybe there were answers of his past and his purpose here? The strange angel stalked the outside of the local highschool, feeling the rough pavement underneath his bare feet as he walked around the entrance. Were the answers he seeked within the building? He had never had the chance to enter the building before, perhaps he should try? Sariel reached out to pull the door open only to find it locked. “Hello? May I come in?” Sariel knocked and called out to whomever owned the building but all he got was silence. Perhaps there was another way he could get in. He would have to go look around if he wanted to get inside.
