These mythical creatures often come from Japanese lore, however among Kitsune knowledge they have always been everywhere but always hidden. Kitsunes are very family oriented, often adopting friends and creatures into their family life and always constantly protecting them and worrying about them. These creatures are very loyal and are never forgetful when it comes to important events and things. There are many different elements a Kitsune can study, and usually they have two elements of several; they do have limitations and boundaries. All Kitsunes have the common knowledge of language, being able to understand and speak many of them. These mythical creatures are very emotional; guilt and sorrow often gets the best of them. They can easily be sadden and enraged, becoming either self-destructive or near unstoppable force of nature. They don’t let go of a grudge very easily and they don’t betray their friends very easily either. A Kitsune always keeps their promise. All Kitsunes can shapeshift, cause illusions, and create fox fire (fox fire is effected by the element a kitsune is in color, heat, and lighting); they also, in theory, have access to all types of magic, but based on the element they studied, they are stronger in that element. They all have a prize posseion that holds some of their powers called a Starball; a Kitsune’s Starball holds power of the Kitsune, which means of you obtained a Kitsune’s starball, you have control over that Kitsune. There is, however, a way to override any command given by the wielder of the Starball and that is if you know the Kitsune’s true name. Other Kitsunes can’t use their True Name against each other. Not many people knows about these and their True Names. Kitsunes are semi-immortal, living forever but can die in battle.
