S
Scaly Canine: As the name suggests Scaly canines are just that, dogs with scales. Fur and scales cover the whole body in sections, almost half of the body is fur and the other half is scales in some way. It is very rare for one of this race to be nothing but fur or scales, or have a small amount of either. There isn't many of them left in the world. Their abilities are rather unimpressive. They hold fangs and claws with enhanced hearing like any animal. The scales that they have aren't bulletproof nor are they able to withstand fangs of other supernaturals. Their only benefit with the scales is that they can withstand a blade from a knife.
Lifespan: Currently unknown. Shapeshifter:Shapeshifters have the ability to “transform” or shapeshift into any living animal. Not race. They cannot shift to a Vampire or the like. Animals like cats, dogs, wolves, and horses are very common forms taken by “Shifters.” In their human form, they appear, well, human, but some may have animal-like eyes. They often take on characteristics of the animals they shift into the most, like a heightened sense of smell for wolves or greater speed and maneuverability for cats. Shapeshifters can change forms as often as they want for the most part, the only thing capable of stopping them from shifting freely is silver. Like humans, they are mortal beings in terms of being killed and heal only slightly faster than humans. (Note: They can shift in any mortal animal, not just one.) Lifespan: Shapeshifters can age up into their late thirties/early forties, and they live for nearly 200 years at their best. They age slowly compared to humans (approximately 2x slower than a human) Siren:Sirens are beautiful people, usually woman, who have powers of attraction. They traditionally use their beautiful voices and physical beauty to lure sailors into the sea to their deaths; however, they aren't all that myths describe them to be. They are good swimmers, intelligent, cunning, and they mature quickly. Their children are usually uncared for after birth and grow up in a single year. All are born with a moon-shaped birthmark on their feet, and their hair has magical properties often used in witchcraft. Also, they cannot become overweight. Lifespan: Their age limit is currently unknown, most now only seen around what humans consider toddler ages. They usually appear to be between 20 and 30 at maturity, some 18 or 19. Solaris:These are similar to Fire Elementalists. However, unlike them, a Solaris can create heat and fire. They do not need to be around the element, though being around it gives them more strength. Great Solari have been known to be able to at summon Phoenixes, and like these mythical birds, Solari cannot be killed, except by magic. (Magical weapons don’t count.) They are not affected by heat. They appear human, except that they often have red or yellow eyes. Lifespan: Solari (plural for Solaris) have been known to live for thousands of years, but unlike their counterparts (the Aquari) the oldest known Solaris lived to nearly 10,000 years; the limit is unknown; they do not age past their mid-twenties.
Suvannian:Race created by wolfie
The Suvannian race is a hybrid race of humans and dragons that are capable of transforming into three different forms. One being their true form, which is their dragon form, the second being the cross form which looks more humanoid, however standing on hind legs of a dragon/cat and having wings that fit their smaller body as well as claws and longer fingers on their normal hands and their feet, and then finally their more humanoid form which strips them of their wings but leaves them with their horns and their tails. They are very powerful and naturally gifted with powerful magic. In Suvannian society females (Suvarannas) are much bigger and stronger than their male (Suvalennas) counterparts. Which makes Suvarannas the ones with the most authority and power in their society. Lifespan:Currently Unknown For more information about this race click HERE

Vampire:(The Originals, for Reality Shift) These vampires cannot enter the sunlight without being burned. Vampires require the consumption of blood at least once every other day, and they can only be killed by: overexposure to sunlight, decapitation, removal or destruction of the heart or brain, and blood loss or starvation. They can eat human food and drink human drinks, and they never get sick. Heightened senses and greater strength and speed are the particular perks. They cannot use magic except by spells. Humans are turned into vampires through being bitten and having venom injected into their veins. Two or three nights after the turning, the youngling will need to feed massively and have little self-control. Vampires can heal twice as quickly as humans. Lastly, while male Vampires cannot reproduce, female Vampires can bear children. - Daywalker Vampire: A Daywalker Vampire can walk in the sunlight, though it still causes slight skin irritation and redness, and their eyes and skin are more sensitive to sun than those of humans. They have sharp retractable fangs, and unlike their traditional Vampire cousins, cry tears of blood and have the ability to "glamour" people, or put them into trances, for limited periods of time. They are similar to the traditional vampires in other aspects.
- Puranto Vampir: Purantos are a unique subspecies of vampires that don't feed from humans, or feed on any form of blood at all. These 'vampires' feed off of the juice of fruit instead. Thanks to their peculiar diet they can live freely under the sun so long as they continue to feed. They are harmless to other creatures, though when they get hungry or while they feed they look more monstrous.

- Unvampire: As the name suggest these creatures are the reverse form of a vampire. While vampires tend to hunt humans for their blood, unvampires don't feed on blood to survive. In fact they do the exact opposite. Instead of draining victims of their blood they inject blood into them whenever their own blood levels become too high. This bizarre habit has very positive results for those they bite, making them feel energetic and over all happier individuals. Despite sharing some similarities with their vampiric cousins unvampires are just as weak and vulnerable as the human race. Little is known about how the species reproduces. The few unvampires that have been known throughout history have always been born as they are, there seems to be no indication that they can turn humans into one of them, and they always seem to be born during times when vampires seem to be in a low supply of human blood.

Lifespan: They are immortal in the sense that they do not age past their early twenties and that they have no age limit. Veil:Veils are creatures you don’t want to come in contact with. They can climb walls, dangle from ceilings, literally blend into the shadows to the point of being shadows, and they can become transparent, allowing objects to pass right through them without doing harm. Magic is the only way to capture a Veil, and only once captured can it be killed. They can pick up solid objects and throw them, while at the same time allowing another person’s spear to pass on through. They are completely undetectable. Appearances vary. Lifespan: Unknown.

Werecat:These creatures are similar to werewolves in that they are essentially humans who can transform into an animal-like human, in this instance a specific type of feline, like a lion or tiger. They do not have a cat form, only the human and wereanimal forms. They are quicker and more graceful rather than stronger, when compared to werewolves. In addition, Werecats are, like werewolves, weak against silver and can be killed by normal means. Others are turned when they are bitten or scratched by the Werecat while it is transformed. Their transformation cycle is like that of werewolves. Lifespan: Werecats are immortal in terms of age, but few age past their early thirties. Werewolf:(The Originals, for Reality Shift) Werewolves can be killed by: decapitation, silver poisoning, the removal or destruction of the heart or brain, and blood loss. They have heightened senses (higher than those of Vampires in terms of smell) and greater strength, speed, and endurance. Silver is especially harmful, like poison, and even their two-times greater healing than that of humans cannot save them from poisoning. A bite or scratch from a Werewolf, as a Werewolf, will turn a human, like an infection. Younglings have little control their first time changing which will happen at the next full moon. (They change into the usual werewolf, a human-like figure with wolf characteristics.) - Formative Werewolf: Unlike the traditional werewolves with only the humanoid wolf form and human form, Formative Werewolves also have a fully fledged wolf form and as a result, have a somewhat smaller humanoid wolf form. Their strength and resistance to silver is slightly less than average, and when turning another, most likely they will only create a traditional werewolf. Otherwise, they are similar to the traditional werewolves, only rarer and harder to come by.
Lifespan: Werewolves are immortal in terms of age, and few age past their early thirties. Wraith:
Wraiths are a race entirely spectral, usually ghostly in appearance and easily seen. They come in many shapes and forms, and in fact like ghosts can vanish and lure people in by playing innocent. The birth of a Wraith happens when a human dies; but doesn't move on; added onto that they either had intentionally bad or malevolent business before leaving and wish to carry it on in. This gives them the power to manifest as well as, take on their ghostly figure as portrayed. Lifespan: Because they are undead wraiths don't have a lifespan.
